Wow, MerIngo is really big! How big is he compared to the subway cars he showed up in? Like does he have a hard time fitting in them, or are they bigger than i've been thinking?

According to my calculations and using the R160 Subway Train Car as reference, Ingo is about the same length as a single train car, give or take! (It also means some old art I did doesnt work anymore oh well)

If one was damaged enough he might be able to at least lay his head/upper body inside one

Train of the day is: Staten Island Railway R44! ( X )

They entered service in 1972, replacing many R1-9 series cars and SIRTOA ME-1 trains, with about 58 remaining in service of the original fleet of 352.

While the New York City Subway had already replaced them with R160s in 2009 and 2010, they remain in operation in Staten Island, soon to be replaced by R211s in 2024 and 2025.

This was a video produced by the IDF’s spokesperson’s unit.I had trouble uploading it so I copied it and put it up.

If you don’t want to watch the video, there’s a couple of interesting screen shots I’ve taken that you should look at.

One of the theories being floated is that this had to be an Israel JDAM. But take a look at the area where most of the damage occurred. There’s burned cars and some shrapnel damage, but there is no crater visible in these images.

A JDAM refers to a package attached to a conventional bomb so that it can become a guided weapon. The smallest of the JDAMs that Israel uses is for Mark 82, a 500lb bomb that cna be carried by pretty much everything in the Israeli arsenal

Now next is a picture that is supposed to be of the parking lot at the hospital just after the explosion. Lots of flame. But no crater visible. The cars all look like they are on the ground.

Now, a JDAM usually does a fair amount of damage. That parking lot is an enclosed space. You’d think that the shrapnel would cause more damage to the walls facing the parking lot, instead of only on one or two roofs. Using the average length of a car, it looks like the parking lot is about 80 feet wide (about 24 meters). A Mark 82 is supposed to have a blast zone of about 80m by 30m (2,400m2). Now, maybe my rough measurements are off, the cars are super long, basically old Cadillacs that are 21 feet long. That would still mean an area smaller than the blast zone for a MK82. If it was a Mk84 JDAM (which Israel also has), then the lethal fragmentation radius become 400 yard (370 meters).

Now the rocket used is usually identified as an R160. An R160 is also known as the Khaibar-1. Basically, its a Hamas copy of a Syrian 302 mm rocket, which is a rip-off of the Chinese WS-1. The rocket is supposed ot have fuel enough to go 100Km.

It definitely went less than 12km, since that is the Gaza Strip at its widest part. Which means it would have had a lot of fuel on board in addition to the fragmentation warhead.N Given the lack of a crater, it would seem more likely that the fuel started the fire upon the crash.

But again look at the space where the bomb damage is visible. No buildings came down. Doesn’t look like any fire burned down any of the buildings. So in a fairly crowded parking lot, at night, where would you have space for the claimed 500 casualties, much less the 200-300 that some sources are claiming.

Not only does it look like Hamas and PIJ have lied about the origin of the attack on the hospital, it looks an awful lot like they are lying about the casualties as well.

This is starting to feel an awful lot like the PLO claims about Jenin years ago. The massacre that everyone “knows” happens, except none of the physical evidence supports it.

The Gaza Strip's health ministry says more than 500 people have been killed and hundreds are still trapped under the rubble. Apparently, the strike was caused by a terrorist missile. Israel did not bomb the hospital. ⚡️
