Basically the outfits you wore throughout the years (doesn’t matter if we only see them once) and rate them and why you wore them?!

thank you for elaborating because i have 0 idea what coachella is

i cant be bothered to find an individual picture for all of these so heres a reference and i'll just talk about them in order

kiddo fit : was comfy and matched my brother, 6/10. could be more individual and fun, but was sentimental.

new graduate fit: still comfy, unique colour for the uchiha. i think i chose that shade of blue because it made a statement without being....garish. i wanted to separate myself from my brother. short-sleeves because i run pretty hot. 7/10, still basic but more individual.

genin fit: iconic. form, style, and function, as i mentioned in a different ask, the leg and arm warmers worked to hide ninja tools like my strings. 10/10, i think when most people think of me they think of this.

chunin exam fit: this one was a functional outfit. i spent pretty much all that time training in the middle of nowhere with a technique that was dangerous and painful. the bandages and the braces are to help stabilize my arms for the chidori without being a fire hazard like the arm and leg warmers would've been. i also had a lot of burns and sprains that i needed to treat while still training. 5/10, at least it's useful but i'm not proud of the fact that i chose a romper because rock lee wore a jumpsuit.

otogakure fit: another iconic fit. this is actually a combination of function and a fashion statement. the hakama was open because i didnt want to buy new clothes every time i used my curse mark. the obi and the blue cloth help me carry kusanagi while also maintaining the samurai silhouette. to be brief, i represented myself as a samurai because i was single-mindedly dedicated to the honour of my clan. 10/10, perfect.

renegade fit: this is actually my favourite outfit. it was comfortable both in terms of fabric and movement. i like the colours. i think it's attractive and makes me look dangerous. the bandages were necessary but still look cool, and the ones on my forehead make you wonder "is he reclaiming konoha?" 11/10.

akatsuki fit: my hair was a disaster so i kind of wish i had made more use of the hood. at the same time though, i wanted the fear that my face and the akatsuki cloak combined would inspire. 4/10, the only points here really come from the improvement on the cloak. youre welcome obito.

konoha crush pt 2 fit: i...am ambivalent towards this look. it kept me cool and it looked nice. i think the return to the short sleeves was some sort of reclamation of my youth, but it also feels confused and speaks to my mental state. it made me recognizable but still not exactly the same as before. 8/10.

vote 2 fit: i mean...the silhouette changed to something really similar to my brother's clothes under his cloak. the clothes were torn. im glad i wore short sleeves since i ended up losing an arm. 4/10, somehow the result of a lot of effort and no effort at the same time.

from this point on, i didnt actually wear any of these outfits as they are so i'll just comment on what i like and what i actually wore.

10. ronin fit: so i did wear a headband but i wore it under my bangs, but that was because i used a bow often to hunt for food. i think this outfit is ugly and im annoyed at it. 3/10 for the poncho. i did wear a poncho type thing, but i wore it more like the otogakure outfit--folded down around my waist for access to my weapons but easy to pull back over myself for warmth. i wore a long sleeved mesh shirt for compression to help with the phantom pains in my arm, and a shirt and pants that looked like my brother's but in a darker blue. you can imagine something similar to what gaara wore the first time we met him with the asymmetrical visual of a japanese archery uniform. in my mind i was thinking more artemis/ancient greece.

11. interpol fit: i dont hate this but i dont love it. it doesnt really fit for the purposes i wouldve been using it for because it just stands out a lot and looks like a military outfit. 4/10 because it's not ugly, but the form betrays the function. in actuality i wore something similar to the renegade fit, just in more plain colours and a full haori. think a farmer's outfit in tan with black accents and black pants. dark blue haori over everything to keep warm and look plain. i was trying to blend in with civilians.

12. dad fit: i feel like this is something more like what itachi would wear at that age, but i do like it. the cloak seems cumbersome at this point though, i would overheat fast. 7/10. since im nowhere near this age, i'll comment on what i wear these days for missions. it's pretty similar to the renegade fit as well, but the hakama is left fully open and worn more like a vest. in a kendo uniform, you tie up the sleeves but in my case i tie them up to essentially make the hakama sleeveless. i just wear a somewhat loose tank top under that. picture charasuke. on the bottom i wear athletic shorts that i suppose are similar to the ones i wore as a genin but longer and maybe a bit looser. long shin guards and ninja sandals as well, so it looks a bit similar to the bottom of the otogakure era clothing but more kendo than samurai. colours vary but i tend to keep it all black, grey tank top. if im feeling festive then grey shorts, black tank top, blue hakama. i do own an orange tank top thanks to naruto. naruto also made me a necklace with just one pearl on it. it looks both like the full moon but also his sun mark, so it's nice.

around the village i just wear a dark blue haori with sweats and a t-shirt. nothing too interesting because konoha doesnt deserve that from me.

I haven't been on this platform in years and slowly started making posts and reblogs again. Most of the accounts I did follow back then are either gone, or no longer active. So I'm listing EVERY THING I'm into, so I can follow people back with similar tastes and interests. Consider it a get to know me things whole I make updates. Reblog, share and comment as much as you want, I'd really like to make good use of this site again. Especially since I'm a YouTube Spoofer and part time writer, and always getting inspiration. Which also means my channel is going through revamping, so you'll see some activity on and off as things are scheduled ahead of time.

I daydream about WMLP from time to time. It’s such a fun world. Idea I played with is post epilogue, 4 years later, Dick is retired and off the grid. Rose breaks into the new Teams base, calling herself Renegade II and Dick’s apprentice, insulting their security and demanding to join the team.

The Den mother has to track down Dick or more likely call Wally and get him to put Dick on the phone. Dick admits he did train Rose. Because she asked him to. Will not confirm or deny if he sent her to the team or answer questions. Demands to be alerted if she gets injured then hangs up.

I'm so glad this AU lives in someone else's head rent free because I kinda need to off load it, it's been sleeping on my couch and it leaves crumbs everywhere. Doesn't clean the toilet either. Very rude roommate. /Jk

Anyway that's a great idea lmao. Like. 'come pick up your child this isn't a day care' "HA bitch the fuck you think I can make her do anything she doesn't want to? Have fun and remember to feed her".

This is very accurate behaviour for wmlp Dick tho. Just 'have fun don't die' and then to the leaguers 'if she loses so much as a single hair on her head I will make you beg for mercy' *hangs up*.

It's an even funnier idea if they still don't know who the man behind the mask is. They call and Wally picks up and they're like WHAT THE FUCK. and then Wally gives the phone to Dick and someone feints in surprise lmao.

Also the fact that it's 'i trained her because she asked me to' is so funny because that would well and truly take four years just to wear Dick down enough to finally agree. It's an even funnier idea of she dresses up and proclaims herself Renegade II and hasn't actually been trained yet, she just decides she's good enough already and the team will probably train her more lmao. Makes me think of the Netflix remake of the Usagi story yojimbo chronicles where he just refuses to get a master cause he thinks he's already a great samurai. Phenomonal, very on brand for Rose.

Given that this fic covers a timespan of nearly thirty years (starting with Noah and Lia being kids), there are some songs that are very chapter/scene specific. For instance, I used to listen to "Feeling a Moment" quite often when I was writing the lake scenes with Noah and Lia, "Sweet Disposition" for their first kiss 💕 and "I'd Come For You" when Lia is in the hospital and she finally wakes up and finds Noah waiting for her 💔 I have a lot of specific songs for certain scenes from Zutto, but I can't say yet, otherwise I'll be spoiling the story 👀

This just occurred to me. Continuation to the "Five Yōkai references to Studio Ghibli films".

Comparing Tatarigami to Tsuchigumo. Tatarigami (タタリ神 i.e., "cursed god") is the giant creature from Princess Mononoke that attacks the Emishi village and curses its last prince, Ashitaka. Behind the shape, resembling a giant spider covered in worms, hides the colossal boar god Nago. Tsuchigumo (土蜘蛛 literally "dirt/earth spider") is a historical Japanese derogatory term for renegade local clans and also the name for a race of spider-like yōkai in Japanese folklore.

Now, to how they are related: The aboriginal Emishi tribe that Ashitaka comes from is one of these renegade clans that have been fighting for 500 years against Yamato (the emperor). They have been losing against him, and now, with their last prince being cursed to death, they are certain to die out. From the Japanese middle ages onwards, these rebelling clans, i.e., Tsuchigumo, have been depicted as giant, monstrous spiders. In "The Tale of the Heike", the samurai Minamoto no Yorimitsu (a member of one of the ruling clans) defeats an enormous spider yōkai referred to as a Tsuchigumo (probably a metaphor for an opposing clan).

Now, going back to Princess Mononoke: Ashitaka, trying to protect his people, also kills this giant spider-looking god. But before doing so, he is cursed by the god. Because of this curse, he must leave his tribe and never come back. In a way, Ashitaka too has killed this renegade clan (Tsuchigumo), i.e., his own people.

No. They co-exist just fine, and neither of them see a need to end this arrangement. But you have just unlocked the next Renegade AU Lore dump.

Renegade AU Lore Dump: Ghosts and Possession.

In the Renegade AU there are two types of ghosts: Electrical and Remnant.

Electrical ghosts are the normal ghost; the last electrical impulses of a persons nervous system that... sticks around somehow.

Remnant is... debatable. It's liquid ghost, but can be extracted from living hosts. The running theory is that it is emotion, but put into a liquid form. It's more of a small fraction of electrical ghost bound to a liquid, with the liquid usually being blood or metal as these are the most stable containment mediums. Other mediums can be used, but that runs the risk of the remnant becoming a biohazard. The existence of ghosts is secular in nature.

In fact, a disgraced former samurai only created his 'domain' because his wife, a wild west cowgirl, was sad that all organised religion (including the one she was a part of) was just incorrect; there was no gods or anything. So the disgraced samurai took the mask of an alligator and promised her that he would ensure those who were truly evil were punished in death, creating OMC.

Most research into ghosts is modern and spearheaded by Dr May Marion Schmidt. Most of her research was started after November 1987, when her brother strangely 'recovered' from neck injuries he'd sustained a month prior. (Mike didn't just spontaneously recover as the initial hypothesis was, Federico - a ghost - just begun to manage the symptoms and internal problems so Mike could ACTUALY recover but not have it absolutely suck in the process).

Someone injected with remnant will have Apparitions (Defined as a hallucination caused by a ghost or ghost related things) of the person or persons that the remnant came from. If the ghosts are nearby, the injected individual can see the ghosts and will still see them in the state that they were in when the remnant sample was taken, even if their appearance has changed since the (re: Gregory seeing Evan as a child despite Evan having survived the bite of 83 and becoming a solider).

It is easier for a ghost to possess someone injected with their remnant, and the person will only feel a portion of the pain of the ghosts death, making it harder to notice.

The specific act of possession is purely the ghosts choice. Unless external factors like another ghost, electric shocks, or possession resistance is at play, an ghost can possess anyone. This takes a lot of effort on the ghosts end, which is why William can't just possess anybody so easily.

Sometimes, a ghost can get bound to the thing they possess and cannot un-possess their host (such are the notable cases of Dunn and 'Miss', as well as Krasnyy and Philip, amongst others). It is theorised that a ghost possessing someone and that possession ensuring the hosts survival in an incident (anything that could have caused the hosts death without the ghost giving them an 'immunity') causes the ghost and host to be unable to separate. 'Immunity' is hardly a technical term and seems an almost foolish notion, but ghosts will always give their host an immunity of some kinds. Blood loss, asphyxiation, organ damage, falls, crushing, fire, and poisoning are the most common ones, but more niche cases have been reported. Newly possessed hosts will only receive one immunity, but as a ghost and host grow more acclimated to one another, a related immunity may arise as the ghost grows more skilled in preventing death by the immune cause (On the surface it looks like a person is immune to blood loss, in reality there's a ghost working overtime to micro-manage their hosts blood to make sure they don't die).

Hosts also sometimes gain a related ability from the ghost (again, it's the ghost doing stuff). Notable cases are Krasnyy's energy drain that he gets from Philip, PT's pyromancy that she gets from Blake, and and Gregory's event simulation that he gets from Evan.

Normally, most ghosts will not take over the hosts body unless the host asks them to, or the situation requires their specific expertise to survive. Some ghost/host duos seamlessly switch between who is in control to navigate dangerous situations. (notable cases being Krasnyy and Philip)

However, some ghosts (such as William, Adelaide, and Christie) who will take over a host and refuse to give the host control back, meaning that it has to be took back by force. Willpower means basically nothing, and means such as forcing the host to sustain injuries, delivering an electric shock, 'the flash-bang trick', or having another ghost try and take over are the main means of thwarting unwanted possession.

Multiple ghosts may exist in one body at a time (Carl Burke and 'Miss' are experts in this) but it requires immense amounts of co-operation from both the host and all ghosts, so a host and ghost can combine forces to force out an unwanted ghost from possessing the host. This could also be used for a host and ghost to trap another ghost within themselves to keep it from escaping.

Also picked up DVDs for The 13th Warrior, Seven Samurai and Excalibur ( @renegade-chaos-druid, you’ll be happy now). Did try and get Dragonheart and Legend of Zorro, but they weren’t in stock. Bugger.
