🙂 Under Alien Skies: A Sightseer's Guide to the Universe (Phil Plait, author & narrator) - The Bad Astronomer paints pictures of what the sky would look like standing on the surface of other planets, asteroids, etc.

😍 A Most Agreeable Murder (Julia Seales, author; Fiona Hampton, narrator) - comical pastiche/parody mashup of: Jane Austen (specifically), regency-set/gothic novels (in general) & Agatha Christie/country house mysteries - funny & entertaining, deftly done. Very Nightmare Abbey vibes in the absolute best way. I enjoyed all the caricature characters but 'overlooked tedious (but secretly a [redacted]) sister' Mary was my fave, absolute gothic queen

We talking 90s musician dreams again? I have had so many but I'll just tell you about these two, cause why not. Sorry it's a bit long.

There was a popular fic writer in the RHCP community, who loved Frukiedis and believed that it was real… but also believed that Anthony was straight and constantly expressed this (very similar to an actual blog from another fandom). So, in their fics they always made Frukiedis straight. They did this by making Anthony a trans woman. Not John, but Anthony, which surprised me at first. The fics were awesome though.

I was forced to hang out with a random little kid even though I wanted to hang out with the chili peppers. The kid had these visions and acted like a genius, but I could tell everything he said was made up or from wikipedia. Like when I asked him to tell me a secret about Anthony he just said he was a drug addict, which everyone knows! We finally went to the warehouse where RHCP were hanging out, and the kid had a vision. He told the band to kill him, because if he waited longer it would be more painful. So Anthony punched him in the face and the rest of the band (including Dave, it was OHM era) beat him to death.

🦅 I used to not outline them. When I was first writing love the way you love, I was commuting an hour each way for work, so usually ideas would come to me in the car. Now I actually plan stuff out in my notes app for the most part (except for the chatfic which is usually stream of consciousness stuff) since I don't do as much driving.

😅 the ones i'm embarrassed exist aren't on the internet anymore but i'm sure someone might have read them (i didn't always advertise my fics on tumblr until i was writing stuff on ao3) so idk ... the problem with my earlier fics was i wouldn't even write them in a word document, i would write them in a tumblr text post and then just copy and paste them in to ff.net and i also had the world's spottiest internet at the time.
