I feel like this last episode really has been such a big reminder that Jawbone is not in any way trained to be a guidance counselor. Is he amazing at his job yes he’s great he’s helped so many kids but he is not legally qualified, plus there’s the added factor of him only having the job because of a party of students who are currently at the school and his adoptive daughter stepdaughter and the kid whose been living with him for months all go there so he can’t be truly impartial in matters concerning them like he’s supposed to. Do I think he shouldn’t have the job no because he’s amazing at it otherwise but I do think that there should be a second counselor with no connections to any of the students

Listen I understand why some people disagree bc I love them as characters but personally I don’t particularly want another full season with the Bad Kids. I will watch it if they do one, but I feel like not only have the characters reached the natural conclusions of their arcs, the Intrepid Heroes have all grown so much as players from when Fantasy High came out like 5 years ago that I think it would feel a bit disingenuous. Like Ally had never played D&D before Fantasy High, and Kristen was played accordingly. Ally even said in Starstruck “no more bumbling Kristen shit”

All that being said I wouldn’t mind a short season (up to 10 eps) for junior/senior year or for the IH to do live shows of the characters. I would love a cross over season between Fantasy High and the Seven or even PirOL, I think that could be fun.

#Riz found his babysitter made a bunch of friends became a liscensed PI and resolved stuff with his dad #Fabian learned to be his own personal outside of his fathers shadow disavowed toxic masculinity and embraced his elven heritage #Fig went from not knowing her bio dad and having a bad relationship with her mom and adoptive dad to having good relationships will all of #them and she became a famous rockstar and got a gf #Gorgug found his dad got a girlfriend and faced his fears about not being smart while becoming closer to his adoptive parents #he managed to learn about communication and friendship and himself #Adaine went from having a shitty relationship with her abusive parents and sister to killing her dad driving her mother to insanity to #die in a magic forest and befriended her sister. she got adopted by a better dad and got her mental illness diagnosed and treated #Kristen is the only one who I think has some growth left in terms of no longer being a jokester sex obsessed teen with unresolved parental #trauma. that being said Kristen did get deprogrammed from her church realize she’s a lesbian move out and found her own church and discover #a whole ass god #I love all those characters. I don’t think another season is what they need #cienna talks #fantasy high

I really hope the finale includes pc characters having rage-outs and whatnot, even though it’ll probably be straight PC vs NPC melee, just because like. Bad kids vs a gorgug or adaine they can’t just despell magic on would rule. PvP my beloved.

Gorgug and Adaine are the two where we’ve had some talk about what would happen and I think that they’d be incredibly interesting (and very deadly).

That being said I fully believe that their angel, their little shrimp, the man holding them together, Riz Gukgak has Batman esque files on everybody’s weaknesses just in case. A raged out Riz (a Riz who took most of his stress tokens for his friends) would be a whole different kind of dangerous. Riz who would move heaven and earth to keep his friends together no matter how much sleep he’s losing trying to keep the chaos from taking over. Riz who loves his friends dearly and does not care that they have made his life harder. Kristen who’s campaign he spent all year breaking his back for. Fig who can treat school like a joke despite knowing how important it is to him. Fabian who isn’t going to have struggle to pay for college the way Riz is. And somewhere in the back of his head Baron telling him that they will all find a partner one day and he’ll be alone. Riz does not blame his friends for any of it but a raged out Riz might not extend the same curtesy to them.

(Also I kind of do need Fabian “what are you talking about I did not attack Adaine” Aramais Seacaster to rage out. )

Also I love how half of the Bad Kids are All-Powerful, Semi-Immortal teenage girls and the other half are Just Some Guy™. Truly the dynamic of all time.

But I also love how these ridiculously ultra powerful girls (AKA the Immortal All-Seeing Elven Oracle, Saint Applebees Creator and Destroyer of Deities and the Spirit of Rebellion, Arch-Devil of Hell, Wizard's Paramore, Fig Faeth) do not give a single flying fuck about their magical responsibilities and duties.

You want the Elven Oracle to actually live with the Elves and foretell the future? Bitch, she doesn't have time for that, she has straight A's, anxiety and she's going to be late for her part-time job if you don't leave her alone with this oracle stuff.

You want Saint Applebees, Creator and Cleric of Cassandra to... pray? Grow her religion? Talk to her God? Mmmmmm.... No. Sorry, but she's a teenaged lesbian with ADHD and trauma. She doesn't have time for, I don't know, that, she's got her own thing going on. Like her breakup, and working out, oh, and did you hear about her campaign for class president??

And you know that the Spirit of Rebellion won't be found living in or, really, doing anything remotely close to ruling over, her domain. She's not even going to pretend to be interested in her duties as Arch-Devil, just like she wouldn't be caught dead actually showing up to class. The only duties Fig actually takes seriously is that of a ✨Wizard's Paramore✨

#its a great balance cause then they sorta just feel like a normal group of teens #and you forget that half of em are like INSANELY POWERFUL #because they're just teenagers and they really don't give a shit about these titles and responsibilities #that were thrown on to them or created out of desperation to survive #like Adiane didn't choose this. Kristen had to choose it to survive. Fig had to choose it to save her loved ones. #they were all forced into this AND IT SHOWS #meanwhile there's the boys doing the stuff that they actually like and chose for themselves #gorgug breaking stereotypes to multiclass.
