Here’s cult of the lamb fan art I got dragged into this fandom by Bamsara
Me rambling about ideas ⬇️
I made a hight chart that is for the most part based on the bishops animal size.
I feel like lamb was severely malnourished before dying to the bishops probably from being hunted, not finding food often, ect.
Anyway what I was getting at was lamb was like 4,6ft. tall and very small for the regular stature of sheep before getting pumped with crown juice.
Now they’re a giant with sharper aspects that a sheep wouldn’t have.
(Also I made lambert taller than narinder’s follower form bc it’s funny to have an egotistical god have a complex about being short ;o) .)

Hi!
Based over the fact that my lil bro when like he just turned five cut a bunch of his hair off and my mom and I were like :000
Also, Mario connected the dots very quickly bc just that morning he told Nettarina they looked alike and then by afternoon she had many inches less of hair🧍but he didn't say anything.
BUT! Of course Nettarina did, and when Peach said "why,,?" like not really expecting an answer, she said "because mamma said I look just like him, but I didn't bc he doesn't have long hair so I cut mine!"
And Peach sent an unfairly killing stare to Mario who was like hehe sori :D
Then Mariella saw her sister and wanted to be just like her, so then they took both girls to a stylist to cut their hair properly and later after that they get ice-cream and go to a park and is very nice but Peach laments that they don't have their pretty long hair anymore, the whole afternoon alskdadf too big of a change maybe bc she wouldn't be able to braid their hair or do nice hairstyles anymore waa (she now can do the little palm tree pigtails tho and she's like aww like when they were babies! :'D)
(When Nettarina's older, she starts liking longer hair again so she returns to how she had it before the cutting from when she was five ajsdka)
BTW Mario and Peach have two more babies and they're both girls and one's called Carolina and the youngest is Giovanna and WA Carolina's design looks too much like Mario therefore too much like the twins aksjdajd but she got Peach's nose and also her big ol' eyes from the moment she was born (in Mario's eye color tho).
And Giovanna got Mario and Luigi's dad's hair (aka also Luigi's hair) so it's dark and more like Peach's rather than Mario's. She also got his nose and his eyes and his eyebrows and basically everything sjdsh
Anyways what I'm trying to get at, is that none of their four daughters look that much like Peach at simple view, but if you look closely, you notice that they got her eyebrows, or her smile or her eye color mixed in with Mario's or her eyelashes or the shape of her face whwhw
ALSO, Peach's height yippie!! They're all taller than Mario🧍and he's like psh the disrespect >:c because he gotta look up to any of their daughters, even Carolina, who is the shortest of them (by nature's laws Giovanna, being the youngest, is the tallest).
Sorry I love when children look much more like a parent than the other, especially if it's the parent that gave birth to them SJDK (it's only fair, since they carried the babies >:v)

I'm imagining post-reveal Twilight becoming a little too eager to be supportive of his wife's real job. Like he assumes that Garden must work Yor 24/7 the same way WISE does him, so from now on every time they're on a family ooting and Yor says she needs to use to the ladies room he reassures 'yes of course you take all the time you need we're in absolutely no rush. We'll just be over here not asking questions. No Anya you do not also need to go' And when Yor catches up with them less than two minutes later, not even short of breath 'oh wow that was fast. I barely even had time to get you this bottle of water. Yes, I thought you might like one after a... break.'
Yor doesn't think that sounds normal but normal is Twilight's field of expertise not hers, so she just thanks him very sincerely
Anya seriously contemplates telling them about her telepathy just to avoid this type of situation again she really needed to go potty now!

I feel like there's an under-explored dichotomy in the valorant lore between the tech-users and the radiants with regards to choice. Sova, Deadlock, Chamber, etc. all chose their fields of study and/or combat. They have made themselves into soldiers, into walking weapons, because they wanted to or thought it was the best option for them. They have different reasons for doing so, but they all chose those paths.
The radiants didn't. Jett is a good example. So is Neon. It's implied that Jett accidentally left a trail of destruction in her wake because she couldn't control her powers, and Neon needs a pretty beefy suit to keep her powers in check. She risks casually electrocuting everyone without it. (This is, incidentally, part of why I think Chamber and Neon don't get along. Chamber created his powers and tailored them to himself. Neon didn't have that luxury and resents being viewed as a power source. That's a separate post though). It's sort of tragic, because you can kind of tell that a lot of the radiants, younger or otherwise, have been messed up by it. They're loners, or socially awkward, or lived in small, obscure parts of the world where they could train. Or they're like Reyna, who faced human experimentation and violence from the Kingdom corporation. They all have to fight, regardless of whether or not they want to. Most of them have learned to enjoy it, or at least live with it, but I think it's pretty clear that some -- if not many -- of them would rather live their days in peace. Gekko. Sage. Jett.
idk. I feel like there's gotta be a fundamental difference in how the agents view their duties based on whether or not they're radiant. something something born great vs achieved greatness vs greatness thrust upon you. lots of thoughts

Let me be so for real for a minute. I grew up in a homophobic and transphobic household. Now, there’s a lot I could speak on in relation to this time of my life and how even now it’s affects me. But instead I want to share something pertaining to the fandom I have found myself in recently.
Good Omens was on my list of shows to watch since it came out all those years ago. Honestly, I was a Supernatural fan, I yearned for nothing more then a good on screen queer angle lol. Of course I couldn’t not at home. I couldn’t risk it. It was funny, some family members were Michael Sheen fans. That meant watching a lot of things he was in and every time I would be thinking about Good Omens and how much I wanted to be able to see it. But after a while I did kind of forget that it exists. Then I stumbled back onto this lovely little chaotic app. Following a lot of writing based accounts and tags it didn’t take long to come across Neil Gaiman’s account, even though he doesn’t use social media. Seeing him answer asks about GO made me go “Oh! Finally!” And start streaming it immediately.
Of course I fell in love. Growing up being shamed by my family for simply being a little “strange”, plot twist I am just neurodivergent, hurt a little less watching Aziraphale constantly being ridiculed by the other angles for his human tastes. Cause if he is still a good character/person/angel, even if a little “weird”, that means I can be good too. Watching Crowley get cast away for asking questions was relatable as well. But guess what? If he can go off and make a life for himself with his love and independence then so can I. Does this mean Aziraphale and Crowley don’t have a ton of healing and growth still to do? Absolutely not. But I am sure they will get through it, and so will I.
Now here’s where it gets a little tricky, figuring out how to express how much the fandom means to me. Hearing other stories, headcannons, and character analysis makes me feel less alone for starters. But even on a less dramatic note, it just so nice to be able to revel in our mural love for this show! After all these years of wanting to watch I finally get to join in on the fun! And I am so so so grateful for that. I love it here.
P.s. as someone still coming to terms with my gender identity, seeing David be so vocal about his support of trans rights and wearing his little non-binary pride pin has made me feel so much better.

Phantom was practically starving when he got to the surface for the first time. No fat, all muscle and bones
Surviving the pit wasn't an easy task, the little food there was wass always taken by much larger ghouls leaving him with scraps and remains
He survived - but just barely
Coming to the surface was a different world
Soft touches, warm shelter, full belly
It was terrifying.
He thought for sure this was a trap, something that would be ripped away at any second
He refused every soft touch, every attempt at comfort his new pack gave him
He couldn't get attached, not again, he couldn't have it all ripped away again
Couldn't endure the pain that the bloodshed brought
He wouldn't get attached
Couldn't
He knew he wouldn't survive another grieving loss

I don’t know why, but the idea of Sage watching over her new “brothers” (Orbot & Cubot) as they enter sleep mode sounded really wholesome to me in some way.

Thinking about how Eggman gave Sage control over the entire EggNet.
Thinking about how Cubot and Orbot are going to stand there, watching the man who has only been harsh and cold and angry towards them treat Sage with such care and gentleness.
Thinking about how Metal Sonic, his previous 'greatest creation' was made to kill. Thinking about how she was made to protect. Thinking about how Metal learned the only way to get validation was to fight and obey and win and obey, while Sage gets everything simply by existing.
Thinking about how when they're all together, Sage will gush about all the wonderful things her father did that day, things that sound so forigen to the rest of them and Sage not understanding why.
Thinking about how Metal would walk off, pushing down the dull anger he's not allowed to feel because she's daddy's girl. Thinking about how Orbot would stay quiet, how Cubot would only be the one agreeing with her.
(The Eggman she describes was her Eggman. Her Eggman was someone they didn't know existed. The closest thing anyone has ever gotten was when someone did something really big, but not nearly the same degree he gives his daughter. Watching her Eggman dote and love and care for her and they have to watch, knowing he could've treated them like that-better this whole time.)

One sec I need to talk about Shiva.
Lady Shiva was introduced in Richard Dragon: Kung Fu Fighter in the 70s. She was a traveling martial artist hellbent on getting revenge for her sister, who she believed had been killed by Richard Dragon. She lured Dragon into a trap, revealed herself as Carolyn's sister, and tried to fight him to the death. Once she realized that Dragon had nothing to do with it, that Cravat and The Swiss (unimportant villain characters, they killed Carolyn) had been the ones to kill her sister, she helped Dragon defeat the villain (by giving him her shiny belt so he could redirect the beam of a deadly laser that was being pointed at them while they were fighting, don’t even ask) and Richard Dragon and Lady Shiva became allies, friends even. Dragon convinced her it would be a waste to kill Cravat and told her that he had killed the Swiss himself. She accepted this. They shook hands. This all took place over the course of one issue of Richard Dragon: Kung Fu Fighter. It took ONE issue for Shiva to go from antagonist to ally. She then tagged along with Richard because she liked the adventures he got up to, the danger, the challenge, and the thrill of it. Richard even called her later on when he needed help on a different adventure. What I’m saying is she didn’t start out as evil.
Tumblr media
Okay, so what do we know about Shiva so far? She’s a thrill-seeking peripatetic martial artist of great capacity and skill. She cared about her sister. She’s willing to kill. She’s an adventurer and a valuable ally. Great. Moving on.
The Question 1987 features THE Lady Shiva. A character capable of both ruthlessness and mercy, cruelty and tenderness. A curious, thrill-seeking, teasing character. She was vicious and nonpartisan and she was working as a mercenary for hire. But she was an ally, even when she was beating the shit out of Vic. She loved the O Sensei. You can tell she even cared about Vic in her way. I’m not saying she had a heart of gold, or that there weren’t tropes she fell into. She wasn’t and there were. But she was a fairly well-rounded, morally gray character that played a key role wherever she showed up. She was closer to a non-traditional anti-hero than anything else. Idfk, just go read The Question.
Tumblr media
I read a tvtropes article describing Lady Shiva as “an archetypical Dragon Lady, complete with sinister motivations and exotic sex appeal,” which… she isn’t. She subverted this trope in several ways actually. She never had “sinister motivations” until Chuck Dixon got his grubby little hands on her. Her motivations were pretty neutral. She had her own set of principles, she was very morally gray. She wanted to travel and fight worthy opponents on her adventures for the thrill of it. She seemed to operate mostly on personal whims, and on the basis of building worthy rivals, out of love for the art of combat. And she didn’t use her sex appeal for shit (until the Richard Dragon reboot comic kms), she didn’t tolerate sexual advances or objectification. She just WAS NOT a conniving temptress, I don't understand where this misperception came from (but I do blame Dixon, I’ll get to that in a sec).
This same article states that she began as the arch-nemesis of Richard Dragon? Unless you’re accepting the version of the two of them from the very short lived Richard Dragon 2004 series as their canonical relationship then NO she didn’t. But I digress.
There was a marked change in the way Lady Shiva was written by the time Robin (1991) came out, this is where her character starts to lean towards the Dragon Lady trope imo. She also weirdly, and maybe arguably, leans more into traditional femininity while at the same time being written as more wild and uncontrollable. Chuck Dixon seemed to fundamentally misunderstand Lady Shiva as a character. He turned her (sometimes ironic) disdain for brutes who wouldn’t last a second in a fight with her into stereotypical womanly haughtiness. He turned her capacity for ruthlessness into bloodlust. And he made her into a conniving, somewhat deranged, villainous woman, tempting our young hero towards evil (oh my!). Again, I’m not saying she ever had a heart of gold, but Dixon changed core character traits (namely her respect for other people's personal code) to turn her into a villain.
“Kill him, little bird. Kill him and become a predator…Aren’t you my weapon? My instrument of death? Say you are mine.” Like?? She would not fucking say that, respectfully.
Tumblr media
That isn’t even to mention Richard Dragon (2004) where Dixon turned Shiva’s relationship with Dragon into a resentful, sexually charged dick-measuring contest.
Even so, I don’t entirely hate Shiva as a villain, especially in Batgirl (2000). Pucketts Shiva is a bit less egregious imo. So she’s a passively suicidal evil mentor-figure who wants Cass to be a killer like her. Whatever, I can get on board with that I guess. I can enjoy it because I love Cass and this is a great comic run. But the retcon that–Listen, THE RETCON THAT IS SHIVA’S SISTER BEING KILLED BY DAVID CAIN, SHIVA DESCRIBING THIS AS FREEING, SAYING SHE’S GRATEFUL, THEN AGREEING TO GET PREGNANT WITH HIS CHILD IN RETURN?? This boils my blood. Shiva, who was introduced as somebody who cared about getting revenge for her dead sister. Shiva, for whom freedom and autonomy were core character traits. That Shiva?? That Shiva is relieved her sister is dead and is willing to carry her sister's killer's child to term?? What the fuck?
Tumblr media
I hate it. I don’t understand it. Why would you take a complex character who makes it difficult to tell who she really cares about, and flatten them into somebody incapable of love?
Okay I’m done, this is getting too long and I don’t even want to get started on New 52 era Shiva. I don’t have a conclusion, I’m just annoyed. Thanks for reading. The Question (1987) is NOT a perfect comic but if you’re interested in Shiva please please please check it out, it’s very moody and philosophical, noir-esque. Also Chuck Dixon suck my dick.

We need to stop using white sage. As in, full stop, the end.
I'm serious. It's endangered. The indigenous people who need it for ritual, ceremonial, and medicinal purposes are starting to have a hard time with it.
There are so many alternatives. There are types of sage that aren't white sage.
I think we, collectively, as non native Americans, need to just stop getting white sage, period.

Charlie being upset with Vaggie for at least part of the next episode is going to hurt no matter what, but I'll laugh a little if it goes like this
Charlie: How could you not tell me???
Vaggie: How was I supposed to tell you that I've slaughtered thousands of the people you want to save?
Charlie: *blink*blink* literally everyone in the lobby has done that
