a/n: hi anon! thank you for your request and patience!

-You may not always understand Saiki, but you always jump in to help and defend him whenever the situation calls for it.

-Whether it be from uncomfortable situations or pushy people, you step in where you can to help the psychic out, knowing that he wasn’t a fan of social encounters.

-Your kindness is something Saiki appreciates beyond relief, and he takes solace in being able to simply exist around you without you annoying him or intruding into his business.

-You’re mindful of not only his privacy and comfort, but also of others’, and you do your best not to make anyone uncomfortable.

-Your sweet and genuine nature, even if not intentional, helps Saiki get through his days at school. Whether it be you mumbling to yourself about a low grade or debating with your friends about something, Saiki can’t help but smile or chuckle under his breath.

-Bringing treats over to his house as an apology when you drop in unexpectedly. He acts annoyed but he’s truly not bothered (especially when you’re bringing him desserts).

-Rummaging through his video games and marathoning shows with him on weekends and long breaks off from school.

-Though you don’t push a lot especially if you see Saiki upset over it, you definitely encourage him to be more social and allow himself to have fun with others.

-Sticks closer to you in group settings because he knows you can help him get out of tricky situations.

-Thanking him profusely every time he uses his powers to help you with something. You always tell him it's unnecessary but are grateful that he helps you nonetheless. Even with your constant insistence, he still tells you it’s more efficient.

-Subconsciously reciprocating the affection and care you show Saiki by him also helping you out of uncomfortable situations and paying attention to your habits and tells.

-Exasperated by your patience with others, but also finds it admirable.

-Impressed whenever you show off a particular skill by accident, even more so when you brush off any praise, especially if you demonstrate incredible athletic prowess.

-His parents are enamoured with you, especially since on the surface, it seems as if you two are complete opposites. They’re thankful their son has someone so kind-hearted looking after him and always welcome you into their home with open arms.

-Never tolerates disrespect toward you, especially if you only ever want to help. He usually uses his psychic powers to get back at bullies or rude people in general. Makes sure to be subtle about it though, because he knows you would scold him about it if he got caught.

-Generally does his best to look after you, especially since you're always looking after him. And though he isn't very vocal about it, he appreciates your meddling into his life more than he's ever able to convey.

This is on my anime’s I write for list and I haven’t written for it yet so I wanted to show what I can do! 😉

especially since it’s canon with saiki after he practically stalked that one dude

anyway onto the headcanons

I wanna start off by saying Saiki’s love languages are gift giving and quality time

the best part about gift giving is he could just leave it on your desk or night stand and watch your reaction from afar

they’re always very thoughtful since he can read your mind :) which is a plus!

and as for quality time he finds it quite peaceful to be around someone who’s not such a weirdo for once

and even if you are one, for some reason he can tolerate your strange behavior way better than he can your friends 😂

it’s always fun to play that one video game he has together

and it’s practically a requirement that every saiki k hcs have—you two will eat coffee jelly together

he would at least want you to try it and if you don’t like it’s that’s fine more for him

He’ll just get you whatever sweet, savory or spicy food you like so you can both enjoy something (and someone 💋) you love together!~

his mother absolutely adores you and is always pestering Saiki about when you’ll be back again

his dad thinks your a “good kid” (🗿) (like every dad says 😭)

Saiki loves to go on walks together

What he doesn’t like is when something chaotic happens to ruin it

but that’s besides the point—he loves to walk to school together!

nothing like getting up every day and seeing your lover. Going on a romantic walk too?*chefs kiss* 💋👩‍🍳

Mera just uses your dates to get some free food (JOKING) she thinks you guys are cute

Saiko (Teruhashi’s brother) would be happy Saiki finally stopped desperately chasing his sister and learned his place (it’s the other way around bro 😑)

Uryoku (the magician dude) would be like ‘oh you dating someone master? Great! Now I need help for my upcoming show-“

Aiura immediately tests to see if you two are compatible and how long you’ll be together

turns out you are!! And you two stay together ♡

she thinks that’s adorable and will do anything for your relationship

will tear anyone who tries to split you apart a new one (they were just trying to say hi)

Aiura is the most supportive of your relationship

btw here we’re going with Saiki is her platonic soulmate instead (she prob already is)

Kusuke (Saiki’s brother) is very much so interested in the person his brother has fallen in love with

he will observe you and ask you lots of questions once he meets you

which I’m telling you Saiki tried so hard to make sure you never would.

poor Saiki- since he’s usually the one to plan them

nothing too extravagant- usually just out for food..BUT STILL!

They always tag along and become 3rd, 4th and sometimes 5th wheels or more! 😀

NOTE ꒱ i love the saiki k characters so much they’re like a fond memory.

KUSUO SAIKI

• surprisingly, saiki has social media.

• private account, of course. 0 posts, 0 followers, 0 following, (12 follow requests which he will never accept).

• claims it helps him be percieved as 'average' (he's keeping tabs on his friends those nuisances that follow him around).

• enjoys baking videos! when he finds a recipe he likes, him and his mother will make it together.

• he's one of those people who use perfect punctuation and grammar whilst typing. never turned off auto-capitalisation.

• dry texter by choice, not by chance. he's less dry when he's speaking online to someone he actually likes, but not by much (by less dry, you get a sentence instead of a one-word answer).

• leaves everyone on delivered most of the time.

• tried changing his number multiple times, but someone always manages to get hold of it so he just gave up.

SHUN KAIDOU

• no one wants to say it so i will. he uses wattpad.

• tried to use ao3/fanfiction.net but found it too difficult so he stuck to his roots.

• he would definetly write paragraphs upon paragraphs of the lore of the-jet-black-wings and dark reunion, as well as the origins of the power sealed within his right arm (black beat) and why it is DETRIMENTAL that this power is never unleashed or stolen by evil.

• everyone in the comments think that it's just a cool original story idea.

• absolutely inserts his friends as original characters in his lore. i might make a whole seperate post about this.

• he also uses reddit. where else is he going to get story ideas?

• has these apps pin locked and hidden in his phone, on the off-chance his mother decides to look through it.

• ABSOLUTELY plays roblox, his username is something cringe he made when he was ten (like the rest of us), refuses to change it. account is -13 for some reason.

• he has spent a lot of money on roblox. a troubling amount.

• types in lowercase, except when he's talking to his mother, then it's all punctuation and manners.

AREN KUBOYASU

• still purchases burner phones even though his gangster days are over. old habits die hard.

• uses an ipad more often than not.

• plays roblox with kaidou, is a bacon hair. his messages constantly get filtered because he still doesn't realise you can't swear on roblox. warned almost everyday - on the verge of being banned.

• watches motorcycle tiktoks, it's literally all his fyp is. the comments he leaves are usually just questions relating to the specs of the bikes.

• is the member of the group that pays for netflix and disney+ and lets everyone leech off of him.

• reformed aren posts pictures of his friends and himself, it's actually a really normal page - which is his goal.

• pre-reformed aren would just post videos of him flexing, and all of his fights. there's a lot of fights.

• also: mullet pics.

• is on reddit SOLELY for the purpose of biker groups. could probably write a thesis on an single engine part. probably has. don't ask him to show you.

RIKI NENDOU

• this guy BARELY knows how to operate a phone, let alone the internet.

• only really uses his phone to google stuff and talk to his buddies.

• nendou... is so bad at spelling... like... SO bad.

• half the time nobody can decipher his messages it's just that horrendous.

• uses emojis, but doesn't open the emoji tab?? so he'll type the emoji he wants and then leave the word prompt in the message?? (ex: 'ramen 🍜 after school 🏫 ?')

• made a seperate account for koriki no.2 but just uses it as his own.

• his first time posting a picture of himself one of those ⓘ - generated by ai messages was under it. THEY THINK HE’S TOO UGLY TO BE REAAALL.

• unintelligible comments left on everything he sees.

• also likes everything he sees. his fyp/explore pages are filled with nonsense. nothing makes sense.

• there are a lot of cute animal videos though - this is a recurring theme.

REITA TORITSUKA

• sigh.

• falls for those ads that are like: 'horny women in the area ready to fuck'.

• REALLY?? WHERE?

• has a lot of malware downloaded without his knowledge.

• a reddit troll, there's no doubt about it. he LIVES to piss people off on that site. think colin robinson in that one episode (this is a niche reference).

• i regret to inform everyone, but before omegle shut down... he was a regular.

• probably has several failed business ideas. also has probably invested in cryptocurrency, bragged about his newfound riches, lost his newfound riches due to the market collapsing, and the cycle continues.

• says outrageous things on twitter. outrageous. one might even go as far as to say heinous.

• probably has hate pages made about him.

KINESHI HAIRO

• without a doubt has a gym bro tiktok account, might be a disciple of joey swoll.

• reposts those 'before and after' gym pictures with messages of congratulations to the person - he's so sweet. >_<

• probably has a couple thousand followers, a lot of people from his local gym follow him.

• contrary to popular belief, he doesn't type with caps on all the time. keeps auto capitalisation on and uses a lot of exclamation marks though.

• is the person who created the class groupchat. and the group chat of the ENTIRE school year. he literally added EVERYONE to it.

• follows everyone? like... people don't even know how he knows everyone but he does?? (he's just really friendly).

• there's multiple videos that he's tagged in of him doing kind things for people, hairo is such a sweetheart guys.

• uses his platform to give fitness advice to people. there's a lot of motivational quotes plastered on his accounts.

KOKOMI TERUHASHI

• of course teruhashi has social media, how else will she broadcast her beauty?

• she has SO many message requests, dedicates hours a day to respond to them to maintain her 'perfect pretty girl' status.

• posts once every week at a scheduled time, get's thousands of likes without fail.

• has a finsta for her close friends.

• doesn't have tiktok but somewhow still has fan accounts on there. and on every other site.

• is really into conspiracy theories, although she won't publicise this or her stance on anything either. she must remain neutral.

• her @'s and tags are mostly full of her fans taking pictures with/of her. she appreciates it, of course! but it's still strange...

• has her brother blocked (thank god).

• has numerous ootd highlights, the people eat it up everytime.

MIKOTO AIURA

• chronic pinterest addict

• unironically uses yubo (she needs help)

• her instagram highlights are so fun to go through, it's messy but it's a hot mess

• posts A LOT, like multiple times a day

• consumes a lot of yoga/meditation media.

• a lot of her media intake is different subcultures of gyaru (obviously), but she's really into haute couture.

• she actually streams on twitch sometimes, mostly to do online readings for people - she also does makeup tutorials and posts fashion advice!

• has also been banned by twitch several times for bypassing terms of service. (it's not her fault that the admins are sensitive).

• her most used app is probably spotify. has ayesha erotica in most of her playlists.

• she has a seperate account for her business, she posts newly decorated crystal balls each week and does free weekly readings in order to promote herself.

CHIYO YUMEHARA

• runs a semi-popular baking yt, (which saiki follows, to the knowledge of no one)

• used to post gacha life love story videos.

• might be the only person who knows about kaidous secret wattpad account (bar saiki obviously), reads everything he writes and inserts herself into his scenarios.

• types all cutesy and uses emoticons like there is no tomorrow

• 'hai hai everyone!! (^_^)' <- for example.

• buys sketchy stuff off aliexpress that promise the most ludicrous results (ex: she buys fat burning/slimming creams and expects them to give her a perfect beach body, gets confused when it gives her a rash and then buys more).

• has an etsy shop and makes custom jewellery (makes it free for her friends and leaves it in their desks with a custom note, it's very wholesome).

• her notes app is under LOCK AND KEY. that shit is more secure than the nuclear codes.

CHISATO MERA

• doesn't have a phone. can't even afford gas and electric, let alone internet. is poor.

• BUT IF SHE WASN'T!!

• would join giveaways even if they're obviously fake. she's desperate.

• miraculously end up WINNING ONE?? she gets flown out to be featured in one of those obnoxious youtubers videos and comes back with a fat paycheck and ridiculously expensive electronics (which she eventually sells, probably to pay the rent).

• is a reoccurring guest on yumehara's yt channel, as a taste-tester, obviously.

• was also meant to critique the food but she rates everything a 10/10 so was not very useful.

• her most used app? let's all be honest with ourselves, it's a food delivery one.

• has the most games downloaded out of everyone, mostly to entertain her siblings when they're bored.

IMU RIFUTA

• has a really cute and aesthetic tumblr - yet somewhow doesn't know what fanfiction is?

• dear god this girl uses everskies. she ABSOLUTELY uses everskies. has been banned several times.

• has so many throwaway accounts. like it breaches fifty, it's getting to be a problem.

• definitely argues with people on public forums, you can't convince me that this girl doesn't have festering anger building up inside her, arguing online is like a rage room for her.

• her phone layout is one of those aesthetic pink ones, she spent hours on it. hours.

• this girl is a MASTER stalker. has every social media under the sun, even the ones nobody has heard about in years.

• is unnervingly good at editing photos and videos.

• her alts are constantly getting suspended for harassment. has anonymously harassed saiki multiple times (he knows its her).

• everything she posts is really over-the-top with cutesy filters, like, blindingly so.

Y/N's bad luck

Pairing: Saiki Kusuo x Reader

Warning(s): None

A/N: idk what to say man, i love kusuo so much. please tell me if there are grammatical errors, english is not my first lenguaje!

Summary: Y/N has dangerous bad luck. Saiki tries to not get involved with her but for some reason he always ends up saving her anyways.

Y/n was a new transfer student at PK Academy, and as soon as Saiki Kusuo laid eyes on her, he knew there was something off about her. It wasn't just that she had a cheerful and outgoing personality that clashed with his own introverted tendencies, or that she always seemed to be getting into some kind of trouble - there was something else, something he couldn't quite put his finger on.

But Saiki was content to keep his distance and observe from afar, not wanting to get involved with someone who seemed to be surrounded by such dangerous bad luck. Y/n's misfortunes ranged from tripping on stairs to getting caught in freak weather events, and Saiki didn't want to risk being caught up in her chaos.

That is, until one day when Y/n's bad luck took a particularly dangerous turn. She was walking home from school when a car suddenly careened off the road and headed straight for her. Saiki watched in horror as Y/n froze in place, unable to move out of the way in time.

Without thinking, Saiki used his psychic powers to move Y/n out of the path of the car, barely managing to dodge it himself. Y/n looked up at him, her eyes wide with shock and gratitude, and Saiki found himself unable to look away.

From that day on, Saiki found himself inexplicably drawn to Y/n, even though he knew that getting involved with her could only lead to trouble. But no matter how hard he tried to keep his distance, he couldn't help but find himself saving her from one mishap after another.

It wasn't until one particularly close call that Saiki realized the truth - he wasn't just saving Y/n because he felt sorry for her, or because he was trying to avoid being caught up in her bad luck. He was saving her because he cared about her, more than he had ever cared about anyone before.

As Saiki continued to save Y/n from her dangerous mishaps, he couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility towards her. He knew that if he didn't intervene, something terrible could happen to her, and he couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to her.

But at the same time, Saiki couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards Y/n. There was something about her optimism and resilience in the face of her bad luck that drew him in, even as he tried to maintain a distance.

As time went on, Saiki found himself spending more and more time with Y/n. They would sit together at lunch, work on projects together, and even study together. And while Saiki was hesitant to admit it, he found himself enjoying her company more and more with each passing day.

However, Saiki also knew that his involvement in Y/n's life was a double-edged sword. While he wanted to protect her from harm, he also knew that his psychic powers and involvement could potentially attract more danger towards her.

Despite his reservations, Saiki couldn't help but continue to save Y/n from harm, and he found himself becoming more and more attached to her. He knew that he couldn't keep his feelings hidden forever, but for the time being, he was content to simply be by her side and protect her from harm.

It’s hard to believe, but sometimes, Saiki hates being alone.

Anyone else, he would heave a giant sigh of relief. You walking off without telling him? Panic and anxiety for the psychic.

Especially if you’re an airhead. Sometimes, he’s not sure he can trust you to walk by yourself.

“Give me your hand. I don’t need you running off to pet a cat on the other side of the road in the middle of traffic.”

“… sorry if I upset you.”

Poor baby looks like a kicked puppy if he accidentally hurts you.

No matter what it is. Slight discomfort that is his fault = him being a failure of a s/o (at least that’s what he thinks)

He’ll go distant if you don’t immediately assure him that you’re ok

as apathetic as saiki aims to be, i find him to be the most caring and kind person in the entire show (and in general). i was just rewatching s1ep6 and actually cried from how genuinely sweet he is. i think god knew that he was the only person in the world who would really never misuse his powers. even without them, i think he would be a wonderful friend.

Yknow how when cats play by jumping out at you or biting you and all that? Basically being feral little guys.

Saiki would let amp do that to him, he knows it's happening, can tell from amps thoughts of "ooooggh I'm gonna jump out and get him!! He'll never know what hits him!! For I am the great and wonderful cat!!" And amp just like. Pounces on his leg, he won't care as it literally doesn't hurt him.

However. He refuses to let this happen to anyone he cares for. He thinks it will hurt them non powered folk so badly, plus he knows, since amp is a outdoor animal, who knows what he's put in his mouth or stepped in, if it's not the anitial attack that kills them, it's the diseases that will surely follow.

However, he does find it funny when amp scratches hie dad, though he does put a barrier around his father just to make sure the poor poor weak human won't die from this tiny orange cats attacks.

This is also a reason he finds kusuke slightly more terrifying. Man keeps making cat like robots. He's happy when amp attacks kusuke.

Saiki isn't exactly sure how you wormed your way into his heart, and quite frankly, neither are you.

We all know mental mutes annoy this boy to no end, and for awhile you were no exception. However, you and Nendo are complete opposites. Nendo is loud, abrasive, dumb, and quite frankly, ignorant. You, on the other hand, are perceptive, kind, and you listen when someone (Saiki) asks (orders) you to do something (go away). And that has led Saiki to respect you.

Teruhashi is 100% jealous when yall get together. And yes she crashes yalls "dates" ( even when it was just you two hanging out as friends) and when the "dates" turned into actual dates yall are the EMBODYMENT of that meme "i cant believe its finally me and you, and you and me... and your friend steve. Doodoo doo doodoodoo steve" >NOT an original idea<

I feel like even though saiki isnt necesarily a fan of animals (hes indifferent to them, much like everything else in his life) you guys would go to different animal cafes to hangout/study/relax/escape from the chaos crew. The animals (specifically cats) would be all over Saiki becuase of his indifference, you know howlike if you get a pet cat the cat in question picks whoever likes it the least to be its person? Yea, thats the critters with saiki.

So, due to Saiki's manipulation, humans are stronger and more resilient than they otherwise would be. Saiki says that in his world, small people can defeat much larger opponents in physical combat, so it's not like this rule only applies to already strong characters. Kurumi is small and thin and can still effortlessly throw a table. Despite everyone's strength being multiplied, Kaidou is still incredibly weak. He can hardly throw a ball two feet and his punches feel like tickles. Would Kaidou have been even weaker if it weren't for Saiki's manipulation? His lack of stength is already significant by real world standards. Was Kaidou supposed to have chronic asthenia and/or a condition that causes weakness?

hello! i saw you write for saiki k! if you write for him, could i request aren kuboyasu relationship hcs with a gender neutral reader? ty in advance ^_^

-when you find out about arens motorcycle license, you’re excited as hell. And you want to ride around with him! And obviously he’s just as excited about it. He got the two of you cool matching helmets and he’ll give you a ride to all sorts of places on his motorbike.

-he’d also tell you a lot about motorbikes on your rides as well, and definitely encourages you to get your license too!

-when he first started attending pk and found it difficult to resist picking fights or having an attitude, he’d simply look to you. Something about you soothed him instantly. He also hated seeing the confused and shocked look on your face when he’d act aggressive with others, so he tries to avoid it at all costs simply for you.

-this was before the two of you started dating or were even fully friends! From the very first day he met you, he thought you were kind and even pretty cool from the way you carried and defended yourself from some of the weird characters he encountered at school.

-as the two of you slowly became friends, you helped him adjust to his new lifestyle and taught him about traditional teenager things he had never experienced, teaching him how to blend in more.

-is surprisingly smooth. he’s not entirely clueless, and has surprised you with sweet romantic gestures such as buying you flowers and taking you out to cafes.

-sometimes will randomly drop some absurd detail about his past life as a delinquent that leaves you in shock (ever heard of dad lore? Its similar to that.)

-An insane artist, and so the first couple of times youve seen him sketching you’re in awe

-you’d probably ask to keep one, and he’d smile and say “what? That’s nothing! Let me draw you something for real.”

-(in his early crushing stage, he'd probably subconsciously draw corny doodles like little hearts and stars)

-always wanting to do something with you or for you. If there’s something you’re interested in, he’s gonna be there alongside you immersing himself in it

-dates are both planned and spontaneous! sometimes its just a chill night in or out, and sometimes you like to treat each other by doing something that the other likes or mentioned wanting to do

-was very nervous in the beginning stages of your relationship, and admittedly still gets shy whenever your relationship progresses.

-he’s a bit overdramatic when he first hears that you like him, going so far as to start imagining a family with you (cough like in s2 HAHA)

-but the two of you don’t rush anything and frequently communicate. sometimes the two of you will bicker but that's typically the farthest "fights" go. and most of the time they're pretty amusing.

-also like in s2, has the intention of marrying you in the future, but obviously doesn’t rush it like he did in his head before. he’s in no hurry, but he keeps the thought in the back of his head.

-not the biggest on pda but isn’t strictly against it either. he loves to hold your hand and does so whenever he can

-physical intimacy such as cuddling takes him a little while to get used to, unfamiliar with it all, but learns to adjust in a really short amount of time since it's you, and he would never want to make you uncomfortable.

-(is a bit embarrassed and confused when learning to adjust though.)

-big matcher of enthusiasm. When you’re excited about something, so is he, and vice versa.

-a not so subtle flexer. He doesn’t always intentionally go out of his way to impress, but his skills like drawing and cooking definitely leave him a little surprised and flustered when you compliment him on them

-cooking sessions are not uncommon, especially when the two of you visit each others houses. aren is usually the one who directs and compliments you on your skill and/or kindly shows you how to do something you're unfamiliar with

-absolutely defends you with his life (both literally and not). Seriously does not tolerate any disrespect toward you

-consistently works on himself for you, determined to improve bad habits and detach from his past for a happy present (and hopefully future) with you.
