Canelita hace unas semanas.

Ha seguido con esas heridas, es difícil hacer que logren secar si está constantemente tocando el suelo. Quisiera poder brindarle una silla de ruedas o andadera, más que nada por sus lesiones, incluso sin cirugía hay cachorros que logran llevar una vida normal.

Fireworks create havoc for dogs in Delhi during Diwali

Amidst the joyful environment of Diwali and its fervor, Delhi on Thursday witnessed the heavy burning of fireworks. The smog-covered atmosphere not only added to the already harmful air quality of Delhi but also caused a lot of problems for the pets in the city. The street dogs were forced to take shelter in closed areas to avoid getting harmed by the firecrackers. Every year Delhi witnesses hundreds of complaints regarding the air quality especially during Diwali but this time the quality worsened to an all-time lowest making the City suffer for breath. Dogs' sensitive ears and lungs go through tough times during this time of the year. Hence, the pet owners take extra care in ensuring their pets are safe but every year about 40% of pets suffer from hearing loss and other respiratory diseases after Diwali. The Delhi Pet Welfare Society requests all pet owners to take extra care of their pets and the Delhi Citizens to avoid burning crackers.

This is in no way an official answer. However, my understanding is, basically, the city will not allow the dog to go directly to the public without having a nonprofit RESCUE organization as an intermediary. For whatever reason. It could be behavioral, medical, the animal may be too young, bonded, or the city just thinks it’s in the best interest of the animal or the public at large. The RESCUE would assume all responsibilities and liability for the animal. If a member of the public is interested in a dog or cat or animal that is deemed RESCUE ONLY… That member of the public can contact RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS to see if that RESCUE would be willing to pull the animal from the shelter. Many great RESCUES are always looking for long time fosters and adopters, and the biggest thing that holds them back from pulling more animals is not enough fosters, adopters, or places to safely house the animals. If a member of the public is interested in a dog that is RESCUE ONLY but does not have any idea of which RESCUES could possibly help… There is nothing stopping that member of the public from asking staff members or volunteers if they have any recommendations. There are also plenty of search engines that can also point you in a direction that may be beneficial. Hola. Ya reescribí esto muchas veces, lo siento si no logro comunicar las ideas de forma adecuada.

Tengo esta pequeña amiga, Canelita, la encontró mi padre abandonada en una carretera. Ella no puede caminar, su columna no está bien, y tiene heridas abiertas porque arrastra sus patas traseras.

No pienso justificarme, no lo haré. Sin embargo, ella no ha recibido atención médica. No tengo la forma, más bien mi padre no tiene la forma, él trabaja pero tiene muchos gastos. Me destroza ver que aún trayendo a casa a Canelita no es una ayuda, el terreno aquí no es seguro, sé que a mi papá también le duele verla así. A pesar de este entorno y situación tan tristes, la perrita es tan brillante y alegre cada día, cada vez que nos ve. Sé que ella está logrando superar un pasado de maltrato, pero no quiero este presente para ella, su cuerpo está cada vez más lastimado, y me duele el alma y cada célula de mi ser no poder hacer algo más. Una de sus patas tiene un olor desagradable ya.

Me disculpo de antemano ya que sé que los temas sobre dinero son delicados. Mi intención no es otra más que intentar ayudar a que reciba atención médica pronto. Escribo esto desesperanzada. Esta situación me supera, realmente no podré vivir con esto en mi mente si algo le pasa, incluso me es difícil ya. Ella está conmigo, frente a mí. No me lo voy a perdonar nunca.

Por favor, si alguien tiene la posibilidad, y si no afecta su economía, quisiera pedir si pudiese hacer una donación. La mínima cantidad que sea posible brindar, no sé sobre transferencias, pero debe haber un mínimo, incluso si es una sola unidad, sería de mucha ayuda para ella.

Siento mucho si esto puede llegar a causar angustia o disgusto a alguien. He intentado obtener el apoyo de muchas organizaciones de mi estado, pero no lo conseguí, una de dichas organizaciones fue muy amable  aunque me dejó en espera. Pero esto no puede esperar, no puedo, y tengo miedo de que ella tampoco pueda salir adelante.

I have this little friend, Canelita, my father found her abandoned on a road. She can't walk, his spine isn't right and she has open wounds because she drags his hind legs.

I'm not going to justify myself, I won't. However, she has not received medical attention. I have no shape, rather my father has no shape, he works but has a lot of expenses. It destroys me to see that not even bringing Canelita home is a help, the ground here is not safe, I know that it also hurts my dad to see her like this. Despite this very sad environment and situation, she is so bright and cheerful every day, whenever she sees us. I know that she is managing to overcome a past of abuse, but I don't want this present for her, her body hurts more and more, and my soul and every cell of my being hurts because I can't do anything else. One of his paws already has an unpleasant odor.

I apologize in advance because I know that money issues are sensitive. My intention is none other than to try to help Canelita receive prompt medical attention. I write this without hope.
