Relating to Chris Chambers

There's a feeling I get when I relate to characters, when it comes to sbm I do definitely see myself in every character. Chris Chambers however, the forever feeling of being misunderstood. The feeling that the whole world is against you. You're just a kid, a kid in a world full of bullies. I feel smaller than most, and often I feel barely visible. In the movie Chris makes sure Gordie get far in life, constantly insisting that he (Chris) won't be anything. It's really easy to perceive that especially when you're always alone.

in an attempt to not receive pity, he puts everyone first, attaches this "mask" and hopes nobody could possibly decipher what he's thinking. The fear of seeming weak in front of anyone, it's very important he was willing to open up to Gordie. Even goes on to say nobody would believe a Chambers kid when Gordie asks why he didn't tell the truth. There's a beauty in this. Trying to soak up every emotion to be as tough as his brother, in the fullness of time he confides in one person. Someone he trusted enough to tell everything to.

Please never feel afraid to be the real you. People will say showing emotions won't solve anything but it's not true. Always look for your Gordie!

Emmet wants to believe he is a good person. After all, he is doing his best to serve his community, and working really seriously. But, of course, there is the feeling that if any of it count--or make up for the mistakes of the past. He could have been a better brother. He could have prevented Ingo's fall to Hisui somehow. He could have convinced Ingo to fight against Team Plasma when everything went down--but Ingo never agreed to taking a job beyond them, "fighting crime". So....

He is not sure. He cannot be sure if anything he does is good enough. Only thing he can do is to work harder, and be a better person he was compared to the day before.

How much pain can your muse withstand? For how long? 

OOOF. Well, my Em is actually from a series of fanfic I had written back in the day, and... In one of the AUs, he managed to withstand an absurd amount just to have a chance to say goodbye to his twin :3c

Emmet does no take pain verrrry well. He cries easily compared to Ingo, and he whines a lot when he gets hurt--though if the pain is too much, he will be more silent.

He does not seem to have the mental fortitude to take the pain well, and his reactions are too apparent. However, if it calls for it, Emmet could surprisingly last longer than one would assume.

BACKGROUND:

Daniel was born/grew up in VC, background and family dynamics are UTP. Daniel eventually moved to South Carolina for some reason which is where he met Viv. 

Daniel’s headstone is in VC which is one of the reasons why Vivian moved to VC to feel closer to him (she thinks he’s dead). 

Before Vivian was Vivian, she was sweet and innocent Nora Simmons, an ER Doctor from South Carolina. She and Daniel met a few years after Nora was turned via getting  in the crossfire of a hostage situation in the ER. How they met and fell in love with one another is TBD. One of the reason’s Vivian loved him so deeply was because she’s always struggled with her identity as a vampire (even before she was cursed) and Daniel was one of the first people to ever truly accept her. He got to know the Nora under the vampire and it’s a feeling she’s been chasing ever since. 

Headcanon: He proposed to her with a princess cut Emerald that was a family heirloom. Once Vivian was freed from Marius, she tracked down the evidence lock up it was in and stole it back. She melted the ring down and made it into a necklace that she never takes off. 

Nora was sought after by a trader on the Supernatural Black Market (SBM) and was kidnapped. The kidnappers made it look like a murder-suicide/disappearance, but the bodies of Nora and Daniel were ever recovered, which left their case unsolved. What happened to Daniel the night of the kidnapping is TBD. Suggestions: He could have also been kidnapped if he was a supe, he could have been killed and became another species, he could have been in on the kidnapping the whole time.

Headcanon: The tragedy that night became a notorious true-crime mystery similar to that of Jon-Bennet Ramsey or The Black Dahlia. They even have a special on The Original Unsolved mysteries.

Other Possible Suggestion: I’m cool with changing Viv's lore to where Daniel  is Vivian’s maker.

Let’s say these kid’s school has been closed (idk much about american schools but since they’re twelve i’m guessing they’d be in highschool?? idk we start highschool at eleven in the uk so idk), what would they be doing?

Gordie’s always writing or reading about it. He wrote a full ass book about his lockdown, He keeps in contact with the other three too. He’s the type of kid who’s screaming at people to wear their masks and stay two meters from him. He also has like twenty bottles of handgel. He actually does his schoolwork over the lockdown, unlike the others.

Chris, as the only Chambers kid with half a braincell is the one going to the store, making all his younger siblings take tests (He’s very worried they could be silent carriers), and actually wearing a mask, Since I love the idea of Chris being a young carer for his younger siblings I like to think he’d tell them about it straight up, convince them to wear masks and socially distance, and educate them on it. Chris doesn’t really have time to do his schoolwork.

Teddy genuinely thinks he’s immune, he doesn’t put his mask over his nose or anything, and he doesn’t stay two meters away, he goes outside too. He’s really just seen the virus as a way to get out of school. He doesn’t take it that seriously, Gordie’s always having a go at him over Zoom.

Vern doesn’t even know what the fuck is going on, he sees lockdown as an opportunity for more digging. Yeah, he does the basic stuff like wear a mask and stay two meters, but he wasted his lockdown under his porch, because those pennies aren’t gonna find themselves.

Ellllllieeeee I need some headcanons for Noah as a dad in my life and I'm 10000% sure you have them. 👀💕

Dad!Noah lives in my head rent-free, and has ever since I wrote Stand By Me! He'd just be such a good dad, and it just melts my cold heart. So, since I have written a partially daddy Noah fic, these headcanons are very much for Noah x Inès as in and after SBM (just fyi, and I hope you won't mind 💋)

Noah as a dad headcanons

- Reading! Every night. Everything from picture books at first, to slowly introducing a range of different and fantastical stories. I also have a headcanon that his mum used to invent stories with him before bedtime, something he'll do for his own child(ren) too.

- He'll also teach them to swim early, being with them every step of the way to make sure they feel safe and comfortable in the water. He's not a helicopter parent, just very protective of his little ones.

- Would definitely cry at their first day at school etc. He'd just be so moved at seeing his child(ren) grow up, and slowly become their own person. He also wouldn't think of hiding his feels, and cries every times he hears "Slipping through my fingers" by Abba.

- So much time spent together! I feel that Noah for sure would love to be a stay at home dad, at least for a while. He'd love nothing more than to take them to the park, the zoo, the science museum, anywhere they can have fun and maybe learn. Not the library until they can behave well enough though, he's still traumatised by kids messing up the library from when he worked there.

- In my headcanon Noah loves to cook, especially family recipes, and would adore to get help from his kid(s), even if they do mostly just mess it up. I just think it'll be important for him to make sure some of his family heritage is carried on, and a big part of that is food.

One day, Soulflight is around back of the SBM Academy in his altmode to drive Moon to what errands she needed a ride for. When she does come out after the bell rings, he notices that Moon had gotten her hair cut! Curious to if there was anything that inspired that choice, he decides to ask her just that. Her bashful smile quickly widened as his reaction to her answer was all too worth it.

"I was inspired by you and since I had to cut my hair, I wanted it to be like yours. Is that weird? Gosh, you probably think I'm silly ri-"

I don’t see Chris and Gordie as the super romantic types who buy each other flowers and chocolate on Valentine’s Day. Instead I pose this headcanon:

Chris and Gordie write each other a poem each. Gordie writes one that Chris thinks is amazing and Gordie calls bad, even though nothing he writes ever turns out bad.

Chris writes one in like 5 minutes, and although it’s pretty meh, Gordie loves every single on of them. He keeps them stashed in a specific drawer in his room.

The poems don’t have to be romantic at all. They’re usually not. Instead they’re often about mundane things like a chair, or fruit, or something else they’ve happened to lay their eyes on that day. The most personal it gets is when they write about something the other likes, for example Chris writing about Gordie’s favourite book, and Gordie writing about cigarettes.

It’s a super silly tradition, but they both enjoy it.
