i’m curious about that one is april just trying to lose her virginity with some random guy at the bar lmaooooo😭
Uh. Kind of?😭
This one starts off around the time she almost sleeps with Alex, and she’s basically asked Jackson to be in control of her love life because she’s determined to not have her first time be with a jerk. She’s mostly just trying to meet a nice guy that she’d eventually lose her virginity to, but Jackson keeps stepping in like, “yeah, he’s an asshole sorry:/“
So, like, yeah she’s trying to sleep with a random guy, but more like. Eventually sleep with a random guy lol.

@bcldlygo liked for a starter! for lexie grey song: WYD Now? by Sadie Jean
“you’re still everything i want and i think we could work this out.” mark sighed as he scratched the back of his head. nervously hoping that lexie would give him another chance. mark had loved a few women in his life, but NONE of them as much as he loved lexie.

I'm about 8 episodes in season 6 and I'm really enjoying it. Seeing two different hospitals get combined into one and then the staff of their hospitals, literally hates the other is hilarious. It's giving the earlier seasons when the interns would fight over everything.

Mark Sloan- Try Again Pt2
Tumblr media
“What’s going on?” Mark says walking into the room where I’m about to have an ultrasound
“I might be miscarrying” I tell Mark as Callie holds my hand in hers and Mer holds my other hand
“You're not miscarrying” Lucy replies
“Well then it’s an ectopic….”
“It’s not a molar pregnancy is it?” Mark asks making me worried
“Why don’t you let me have a look and we can figure out what’s going on”
“Who are you first and what are your credentials?”
“Lucy Fields, Harvard MD, Duke 0BGYN resident now a Maternal-Foetal Medicine fellow at Seattle Grace Mercy West. Damn good at my job. Who the hell are you”
“For god sake just stick the thing in me and tell me the bad news”
“Everything’s going to be ok” Callie says squeezing my hand.
Lucy turns the screen towards us
“There’s your baby, there’s the yolk sac. Everything looks good. Your still to early on to hear a heartbeat, but at your next appointment you will be able to”
“But the bleeding?”
“Your a doctor, you should know that many woman experience spotting early on in their pregnancy, it doesn’t mean they’re having a miscarriage, however better to be safe than sorry. I’ll go and get that appointment arranged while you get changed”
“Thank you” I smile at Lucy as she leaves
“Here let me help you”
“I’m capable of getting off a bed Mark” I comment
“Sorry, just want to help”
“I know I’m sorry I’m just cranky today”
“I’m gonna give you two some time to talk”
“Thanks for coming with me Callie”
“That’s what friends are for” Callie smiles at me before leaving the room
“I’ve got to go. Everything’s fine in there and I can’t wait to have a niece or nephew” Mer says placing a kiss on my forehead. I watch her leave and then go to try and untie the back of the gown but I can’t seem to undo the knot
“Can you erm…” I ask turning around so my back is facing mark
“Oh yeah sure” I feel his hands undoing the knot
“I feel like Im having dejavu” I joke back to what got us into this predicament making Mark laugh
“Just this time I’m undressing you for a different reason. There” I turn back around to face Mark. We look into each other’s eyes, as if we’re having a moment, but before anything could happen I clear my throat
“I erm need to get changed”
“Oh right yeah. Erm I’ll just, I’ll go” Mark leaves the room letting me get dressed. What am I doing? I’ve already let Mark back in once and look how that’s ended up? Granted he’s always going to be in my life now.
I finish getting dresses and leave the room where Mark is still stood outside of
“I thought you would have go back to work by now?”
“Are you ok?” He asks
“I erm…”
“And don’t lie. I know you” tears starts to threaten to spill
“When I saw the blood this morning I was so scared. I’ve always wanted to be a mom and after we broke up I thought I’d never get the chance. I just couldn’t stop thinking the worst, like if I lost this baby, I don’t know what I would do. It’s not like I have a partner i could try again with and…”
“Ok woah slow down. Come here” Mark pulls me into his chest “shhhh” he strokes my hair “we’re fine. Everything’s fine. Come on let’s go grab something to eat”
“Ok” I sniffle
“Anything you fancy?”
“Baby would quite like a pizza with fries”
“Hmm they would would they?” Mark laughs. He goes to pull away
“Wait, I’m not ready to let you go yet. Just, hold me for a little longer”
“Of course. I’ll hold you for as long as you need.

Being With Jackson Avery Would Include...
Request - hey hi hello<3
I was wondering if you write for Jackson Avery (from gray's) with a male reader
|| it's okay if u don't feel free to ignore but if you do 👀 could I please order one of those with head cannons about them together (v fluffy)
if u can thank you<3 if you can't no worries<3
— 🥞☕ breakfast anon
Spoilers for the show (kinda), And I know this wasn’t a before and after starting dating request but I thought it would be cute to add a little more
-><-
Tumblr media
-><-
!Before Dating)
- You two met through the merge of Seattle Grace and Mercy West and for a long ass time he didn’t like you, and you didn’t like him
- You were forced to talk to each other when you were stuck on a service together
- It was a lot of back and forth and passive-aggressive comments and shouting by an attending for you to give in and talk to Jackson without making a rude comment
- He in turn didn’t call you names or try to make himself seem smarter than you
- From then on, while you guys weren’t bff’s when given the chance you two would share small talk in elevator rides or walking out to the parking lot
- Over the months of getting to know him and the Mercy West people you two slowly did become best friends or as Mark Sloan likes to put it “best bros” and constantly comparing the two of you to him and Derek
- Without the fact that one of you has a massive crush on the other (it’s Jackson)
- He’s the one who confesses
- In the parking lot after a long day of back-to-back surgeries and being stuck with you every step of the way
- It’s messy and jumbled and so not normal for Jackson, but that’s what made it so much better
!Dating!
- For a long while, you two keep your relationship quiet even though you both know there won’t be a problem with you two being together given everyone supporting Arizona and Callie it was just the idea of you two getting out there, and then Jackson being top news for being an Avery and having a gay lover
- The first person to know was Lexie who came running into Jackson’s room to rant to him and found the two of you making out on his bed
- Safe to say she’s your number-one supporter
- Then it kinda goes from there on telling people, most people found you guys before you told said people and others heard from gossip before you told them
- But once it was out that you two were together, absolutely nothing changed which is what you were grateful for, except for Callie and Arizona wanting to go on double dates as a gay flex to the public
- The two of you are “so cute it hurts,” as Mark mocked when he found the two of you holding hands while walking down a hallway
- While PDA wasn’t something that the two of you do often when around the hospital, outside of the hospital, it wasn’t normal to find the two of you apart
- At big events, the two of you match your suits and your ties and steal the show every time.
- His mom adores you like every time this woman shows up, it’s all “where’s my son-in-law” or “there’s my second favorite guy,” and she smothers the Hell out of you every chance she gets
- Every chance this man gets, he’s expressing how much he loves you with little whispers or a quick peck on the cheek, you name it
- You two are probably everyone’s favourite couple
- So, in summary, you went from enemies to friends to lovers with the “gorgeous” Jackson Avery

I didn't plan on writing a Christmas drabble this year, but then @babyjapril posted the most perfect gifset and it inspired this little Japril Christmas movie AU. Hope you'll enjoy, and happy holidays to you all!
___
Christmas in Bozeman, Montana, is always a treat, and even more since April moved away for med school and then for work. Seattle is not that far, and she tries to visit her family as often as she can, but there’s something special about the town during the Christmas season. She absolutely loves spotting the Christmas lights in the streets as she makes her way to her parents’ property, the snowy mountains offering a picture-perfect background for the season.
This year is no exception, meeting all her requirements for a perfect Christmas. At home, the lights in the Kepner’s Christmas tree are sparkling, there are so many wrapped gifts under the stockings that opening them on Christmas morning would surely take hours, and her mother spends most of the time in the kitchen, making treats and baked goods at the speed of light.
A few hours after she arrives, April finds herself already in the kitchen. As she helps her mother add a layer of white frosting on some cookies freshly out of the oven, Karen Kepner starts listing a few last-minute details about the festivities. “Oh, and you know Robert Avery, who owns the Jefferson grill in the city outskirts? Tall, blue eyes, makes the most perfect cup of coffee? Well, his son is visiting him for the holidays, for the first time in forever, apparently. He’s a doctor too, you know! Lives in New York, or Boston, or somewhere East. So I invited them both for Christmas Eve, because the man shouldn’t have to cook on Christmas, he already does it enough during the year, and he helped your dad once with the tractor, remember? So I thought–”, and at that point, April, used to tune her mother out when she starts rambling, offers a few “yeah” and “is that so?” now and then, and thinks no more of it.
The next day, she meets Jackson, Robert Avery’s prodigal son. At her mother’s insistence, she plays the part of the perfect tour guide and shows him everything Bozeman has to offer, she takes a few walks with him around town and laughs when he admits he’s not much of an outdoor man, they even sit down once in the cold, watching people skate on the ice rink and sharing stories about surgeries and their respective hospitals (Boston’s Mass Gen seems way more peaceful than Seattle Grace Mercy West) before she dutifully walks him back to the Jefferson Grill. Robert Avery is a sweetheart, so she’s not surprised that his son is as charming, and they hit it off as much as two big city outsiders in a small town can. His laugh when she offers him anecdotes about her years in Bozeman warm her heart, and she finds out she actually looks forward to Christmas Eve, even if it means her sisters taking a dig at her for daring to be a single, twenty-something surgeon living alone a few states away and her mother insisting she eats her weight in stuffing.
Christmas Eve is magical, Robert Avery regaling them with tales from his youth, Jackson complimenting her mother’s cooking skills and having a second helping of everything, her father looking at the whole family with a wide smile, and for a few perfect hours, she truly feels the Christmas cheer she always hopes to find when she comes back home.
And then her overactive imagination just has to ruin it.
After dinner, everyone gathers around the fireplace, swapping stories she must have heard a hundred times. She loves her family, she really does, but she needs a break, so she goes to the kitchen and sets out to get a head start on the dishes. Jackson volunteers to help out, drying the plates she washes, and they soon talk and laugh like they haven’t just met four short days ago. They only stop when she washes the last of the plates, and she doesn’t know what happens, but his fingers lightly brush her arm as he takes the plate from her hands, and she shivers. His touch is electric, and she raises her head, finding his eyes already on her. His hand find her again, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, and she can’t help but stare at him.
From the living room, she hears her parents exclaim that it’s time they get a move on or they’re going to be late for midnight mass, another cherished Kepner tradition, and the moment is gone. Jackson snaps out of his trance and steps backwards, shaking his head, and it’s not long before he and his father leave, his eyes avoiding her as he profusely thanks her mother for her generosity.
So much for a perfect Christmas holiday.
She goes to bed, feeling confused and, she’s adult enough to admit it, disappointed. And because she’s April Kepner, she soon starts to feel extremely annoyed with herself. She always does this, having huge expectations that don’t go well when confronted to reality, and she’s a fool for thinking that this time would be different. That a fancy, handsome surgeon would play his part in the Christmas movie she’s apparently written in her head, and act out cliché moments under the Christmas lights.
The next morning, waking up before everyone else, she quickly dresses up and goes for a short walk to try to clear her head. Still replaying the moment in the kitchen in her mind, she takes comfort in the fact that she’s due to go back to Seattle in a few days. She’s not going to let her delusional brain ruin what is otherwise a perfect Christmas, thank you very much, and she can easily avoid Jackson Avery until then and not make a fool of herself.
Well, it would be easier to avoid him if he wasn’t standing in her parents’ driveway as she comes back from her walk.
His eyes seem clearer than ever, and she manages a small smile, hoping he’ll credit the cold for her blushing cheeks. She stares at him a few seconds too long before she remembers her manners.
“Hi, um, did you forget anything yesterday?”
“Actually, I did,” he answers in the low voice he seems to use just for her, and she really wishes her body would stop reacting so strongly to his presence.
The snow starts to fall just then, but she barely registers it, because she can’t tear her gaze away from him. He gets closer to her, shakes his head with a soft smile on his lips, as if he can’t believe what he’s doing, and slowly raises his hand to hold her neck.
Their lips touch, hesitantly at first, then more insistently, and as they kiss for what seems like hours under the falling snow, she can honestly say that this Christmas is definitely a perfect one.

I would have loved it if George O'Malley had joined Mercy West's internship program and had been in the same resident class as Jackson Avery, April Kepner, Charles Percy, and Reed Adamson because it would have been interesting in the merger as he would be a part of both the Seattle Grace and Mercy West families during such a tumultuous time and also it would have been cool to see his dynamics with those characters.
In terms of dynamics, I think that George and April would get along the best because they are quite similar both being from families they don't fit in with, both wanting to specialize in trauma, etc. but I could also see him being friends with all of them. In fact, I think he would have gotten along with all of them as they are pretty similar to MAGIC. And I'll explain below:
M: The Meredith of the group is Jackson as both are smart/qualified but have people's legacies to contend with. Meredith with her mother and Jackson with his grandfather
A: The Alex of the group is Charles as both can be douchey and say things about patients that get them kicked off of surgeries but both are still good doctors that put in the work
G: The George of the group is obviously George lol but also kinda April
I: But since April can't be the George of the group when George is already the George the group (lol confusing!), the other character I think she's a lot like is Izzie as both want to prove themselves as capable surgeons and care a lot about their patients
C: And lastly the Cristina of the group is Reed in that they are both sarcastic and take no shit
God, I would have loved this storyline to have George leave for Mercy West at the end of Season 3 and then come back in Season 6 with the merger and impress his old colleagues with his surgical skills (and of course not die in the Season 5 finale). Ugh why couldn't this happen lol
What does everyone think the dynamics would have been?

Another look into Jackson & Mark’s future in “But I’m An Avery”.
***
Jackson shivers as he strips off his soaked Seattle Grace Mercy West hoodie. He kicks off his shoes that probably need to sit on the radiator for a good hour.
“Why did you go out in that storm?” Mark asks, tossing him some warm, fuzzy pajamas. Jackson wants to argue it’s only 6 and too soon to get ready for bed, but he’s too cold.
“It wasn’t raining when I left. What was I supposed to do? Stay at the sushi place for all of eternity?”
“You call me.”
“It’s a 10 minute walk. I lived.” Jackson whimpers when he’s down to just his briefs and quickly begins putting on the pajamas. “God, it’s too cold! I hate rainy season.”
Mark leans against the doorframe. “You know where it’s not cold? California.”
“Thank you, Weatherman.” Jackson shoves his head through the hole of the red top, ignoring the fire engine design on the sleeve. “How does that help me?”

4 full days. 96 hours. 5760 minutes.
Mark wouldn't stop dying, he seemingly insisted on his own demise. Following after Lexie like it was his end-of-life mission, Arizona wouldn’t shut up, she screamed so much you almost welcomed your hearing loss, even when it didn’t go away. You remembered all of your time in the woods, watching Lexie sputter blood as Mark sobbed his heart out, you remember how cold Mark was after he died the first time, how you helped Cristina bring him back. Meredith and Derek clung together, desperate for warmth. You remembered every second.
You didn’t remember every second of being saved, as if your body crashed, you didn’t fully believe you were safe. You didn’t until you arrived at Boise Memorial and came face to face with Owen, your Owen. You hadn’t even believed it was him, you thought it was one of your many delirious hallucinations from the previous four days, that is until you felt him, touched him, took in all of him, his scent and the way his stubble scratched at you slightly, it truly was Owen.
“Oh g--- I was so----.” Your hearing would cut out every once and a while, you assumed it was just the noise of the hospital around you, being in the ICU. The plane ride home was the worst part of it all, you remember before it happened, Owen hugged you, “I--- sedate---?” You simply nodded, allowing him to help you stay okay during this time, he placed a mask over your face as you fell into a place of much-needed rest, you remembered his hand on yours as you fell into sedation.
Now you’re awake, the world is just as muffled as it was when you fell asleep. Your hearing comes in and out and it’s sometimes okay, “Dr. (L/N)?” You look over to see an intern you’re familiar with, this is Seattle Grace Mercy West. You smile at them as they stand beside Owen, who looks at you nervously. “Your hear--- dam--- crash.” You look between the two of them as Owen looks at you, his eyes are a dead giveaway, that something isn’t right and you are realizing this fact fully right now. “Owen?” You ask, speaking loudly, you’re actually able to hear that, you smile a bit to yourself until you see Owen’s face looking at you just a bit unnerved. He sits with you on the bed, signaling the attending doctor to leave the room, he takes hold of your hand, waiting for the door to close before he begins to speak.
“Your hearing is damaged from the plane crash.” He says, it’s still quiet but you nod, looking at him worriedly, “Is it… Is it gonna come back?” He shakes his head, taking a breath in before speaking again, “Naturally, no… We could use hearing---.” You stop listening, a week ago you could hear, but now it was muffled, much messier than you’d wished.
You stare off into space, you want to be anywhere but here right now. You wish you’d never gotten on that plane. Owen notices how you stop, you aren’t trying to listen anymore, so he stops, now he just holds your hand, and he pulls you close to him, kissing your forehead softly. “You know,” He says, it’s quiet but you can hear him well enough, “You don’t need to figure this out now. If you want, we could just… God, do you want me to just stay?”Just staying, nothing else would make you happier at this moment. Thus, you nod, moving forward to let Owen’s body fit behind yours as he pulls you in tightly, he says nothing, nothing can fix what you’d just been through so saying nothing works. Right now, this contact with your boyfriend is all that you could ever want. Even if it can’t fix everything, it gives you something, someone to just be with after your sky had fallen, and you couldn’t help but find solace in that.

@bcldlygo liked for a starter! for lexie grey
deep down, he had to admit that he was happy jackson and lexie broke up. he had broken up with julia WEEKS ago, but the only people he told were callie and derek. he liked his personal life flying under the radar and wanted it to stay that way. until he noticed jackson had been depressed and so had lexie - so he decided to mention it to her. “break ups are hard. you know, if you ever want to talk. i’m always here lex.” he said grabbing a peanut butter cup out of his pocket and handing it to her. “always been your favorite.” he laughed and then grabbed another one for himself, before popping it into his mouth.

fic prompt! 🥹🥹🥹
Arizona likes stealing Callie's phone to change Callie's phone wallpaper into something stupid (like unattractive pictures of Callie's face or doing something like picking their nose). Arizona is doing another routine swipe of Callie's phone, but doesn't have the heart to change it because this time because Callie's phone wallpaper is a cute picture of the two of them (like their first date together, or the only picture they have together).
I love getting prompts. Thank you!
If you want to submit one, you can here.
/ /
Callie had a bad habit of leaving her cell phone in random places. Arizona had a bad habit of changing Callie's wallpaper to something funny when she did.
It was something that started when they weren't yet living together and continued when they moved in together. Even through all the breakups and do overs it kept happening. And now that they were back together in New York? Yup, it happened again.
Callie never commented on the changes to her wallpaper and Arizona never admitted to doing it. It was something both enjoyed but neither admitted happened because that would somehow break the magic of the action.
Two months after she moved in with Callie, and six months after she came to New York in the first place, Arizona had already changed Callie's wallpaper a half dozen times. Some had been random things Arizona had taken photos of in the city, some were of Callie around the apartment, some were cute animals that Arizona found on the internet.
Yet when Arizona picked up the phone to change it, Callie in the shower after she worked out in the apartment building's gym, she didn't have the heart to change it.
Looking back at her was a photo she hadn't seen in a long time. It wasn't really that remarkable a photo in the grand scheme of things. Her hair was starting to come out of her ponytail and she had no markup on. Callie's hair was out of its ponytail and had marks in it from hours up. The two women were sitting on a coach in one of the then Seattle Grace-Mercy West attending lounges. Callie had an arm around her shoulders and both were smiling at whoever took the photo. She thought it may have been Mark but couldn't remember now.
Her eyes found the wedding bands on both of their hands and her eyes went to her naked left hand. She ached to have the feeling of a ring back there. But she knew it was too soon to bring that up. Things had gone so well she didn't want to change the dynamics too quickly.
She didn't hear Callie come up behind her but when she felt a pair of strong arms around her middle, she leaned back against her girlfriend turned wife turned ex-wife turned girlfriend's strong frame.
"I was cleaning out some boxes and found Mark's old phone," Callie whispered as she rested her chin on Arizona's shoulder. "It was saved on his camera roll and I liked it."
"Send it to me?" Arizona requested in a quiet voice.
"Okay," Callie said before turning her head to nuzzle Arizona's neck.
Arizona leaned back a little more as her eyes closed at the simple gesture. There was a time she was sure she would never have this back and yet here they were. Together again, stronger as people and a couple, happier than they had ever been.
"Calliope?"
"Yeah?"
"One day, sometime in the future when we're ready, do you think you might like to marry me again?" Arizona asked as she opened her eyes to look at the photo again.
"I think you'll know," Callie whispered before nipping her neck.
Arizona let out a laugh before carefully turning in Callie's arms to kiss her. Yeah, for now the photo would stay.

Safe & Sound...
You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now...
In a world where people are classified as littles, caregivers and neutrals, Josephine Wilson stars her residency at Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital, while she tries to keep her past life behind her, but could it be as easy as a change of name and moving to a complete new city?
Tumblr media
3. Doomed.
Jo’s night shift was going great, she was finally getting the hang of the internship, she was in Yang’s service, the woman was cold, but also a great teacher, that morning she observed as Yang sew a heart back together, all while she was allowed to apply suction and put her finger in to stop a small bleeding while doctor Yang got the instruments to fix it.
She made her way to the cafeteria, were she sat down with her fellow interns, she laughed and made jokes with them, they talked about cases and gave each other ideas on possible diagnoses for a thirty-year-old who was admitted with weird symptoms and had Stephanie’s head spinning around as most of the results were inconclusive.
She took a nap while she could in one of the on-call rooms, she was exhausted, and she knew that if she didn’t get at least a little bit of rest she was risking her little persona getting out and ruining her amazing last few hours.
That was not an option.
