Also funny how while Ketheric is my least favorite villain from the Dead Three Chosen, he def is the one I respect the most.
Orin and Gortash are just problem children with behavior issues and delusions of grandeur. Ketheric tho? He just wanted his daughter back.

How would one go about making a COMP??
I think it'd be neat to wear and have one irl.
like OG MegaTen COMP.
Or the Samurai coats from SMT IV. They're so cool and I want one so badly.
I really want to play the games~~ Text is quite small sometimes tho. Also for some dumb reason I get so unreasonably upset if the demon negotiation fails....
Got to get used to failure and didn't think I was bad at it, lol.
Also need to be able to read the games cause my low vision self. I wanna play RPGs but the text is usually way too small for me to read sometimes and that makes me sad.
The musics are really good tho ngl. it was the music that got me into megaten as well as touhou project, lol. kicks major ass.
more random note that I've been thinking about; how would you apply the in game alignments to yourself irl?? Tho hopefully for fun and not being dead serious, lol.
Hope I'd be neutral or law cause if it came down to personal freedom and the dog eat dog world that chaos wants, I figure I'd be dead. or is it just more than "survival of the fittest and personal freedom"? law is security and following God, and neutral is what's best for humanity?
sleepy megami tensei and RPG game rant, lol.

Jaster & Tor
For me, one of the most hilarious and no less furious aspects of Jaster Mereel’s treatment in the sources is how he is hailed as the great figure in Mandalorian history that brought back honor between Mandalorian Mercs and all but like, not getting any real development for over two decades. Sure, he got here and there mini encyclopedia entries and some mention in regard to Jango Fett, but never anything truly expanding his characterization beyond the general image of “good” Mandalorian created by tie-in sources - an image I find a pretty bland one compared to retconned “The Last One Standing: The Tale of Boba Fett” (in which Jaster Mereel originated from) and Jango Fett: Open Seasons comics series.
This is hilarious, because Tor Vizsla got a personal entry in Fact Files - an article biased as hell but still acknowledging both him as character and his impact on Jango & Mandalorians - and a whole section of Bounty Hunter Code for himself and Death Watch. And though I will forever stand with Jango that the Manifesto doesn’t sound much like him (but I like the idea the Manifesto is based on Tor’s notes just edited by someone to be more reader-friendly), there is like 30 pages expanding history and his person while Jaster is once again reduced to small mention here and there. And look, it is hilarious to me that Vizsla and Death Watch is the Mandalorians that Lucas wanted to keep for The Clone Wars, throwing out of window the supposedly great Jaster Mereel and True Mandalorians without any second thought but good damn, it is so frustrating we can’t get any solid material on him even though Bounty Hunter Code was the perfect opportunity to bring him back, as it would make a perfect sense for Jango to keep Jaster’s notes if not the whole Codex.
It is also frustrating because Tor and Jaster are like the two Mandalorians officially writting down important stuff and apparently both were versed in Mandalorian history & lore and I for one would love to compare their notes to get the feeling of middle-ground and see their ideas from the proper perspective not from biased sources that clearly favores Jaster - even if in JF:OS, after making research and interrogating Jango’s allies, Dooku’s only conclusion was that for Mereel Mandalorians were “merely highly-paid soldiers”. Which is hardly the same as bringing work ethic to your group (not that it does cross out the possibility of having actual moral standards, but it does not automatically mean the same). It is frustrating, because we don’t get that often Mandalorians with literary tendencies - hell, we didn’t get any other Mandalorian like that for years because almost everything is about the oral culture which makes Tor Vizsla and Jaster Mereel’s existence even more hilarious, as the two literature nerds that at some point sit down and write their own input - Tor about history and political goals for new members of Death Watch, Jaster about work ethics for True Mandalorians. And it is even more hilarious than that, because Jango Fett presumably read both works and HE DOESN’T READ BOOKS BECAUSE HE THINKS THEY ARE WASTE OF TIME:
Boba's father didn't read much. "Books? A waste of time," he said. "Read maps, Boba. Instructions. Warnings. Important stuff." [Boba Fett Book 1: The Fight to Survive by Terry Bisson]

team checkmate is a competent ragtag team of vigilantes that know how to navigate around both law enforcement and criminal gangs
but team checkmate is also those three kids sitting in the same row of seats in detention for the nth time. they are also three kids sitting on the curb of the parking lot waiting for mom to pick them up :'DDD

My family does not understand anything at all like.
We're at my grandmother's and we had to walk because the snow was so heavy and dense and the plows haven't gone by yet and so I was feeling cranky and antsy and so I willingly went out and shoveled out their driveway so they can get the car out for church tomorrow and everyone kept popping out being like "are u okay??? U don't have to do this??? [One of the men will do it]" and it's like??? I am doing this WILLINGLY. Sometimes ur just weird and nonverbal and you gotta do something so physically taxing until your body aches and your mind is forced to stop thinking, like some lil Johnny in the 18th century being sent to chop wood, and then I got back in and my Nonno insisted on paying me??? Like I did this for my own sake, don't feel bad, it's not just because he has really bad knees and is 80 yrs old
And they're all surprised that I managed to do it, esp BC it's the wet dense heavy snow and im just?? I am the only person in this extended family who works out??? And yes I'm very short and round around the core and hips but I literally CANNOT lose weight, I have the European peasant farmer gene and everything just immediately converts to muscle even tho I barely eat any protein. The gym bros struggling to bulk want what I have. I look stupid and pathetic and soft but I genuinely AM strong and getting stronger and sometimes I really do just need to go chop wood or whatever and I'm tired of being doubted and questioned and labeled

Some low effort doodles of Theresia prettied up a little.
This was largely inspired by Professor Layton puzzle solving animations as I’ve been enjoying the thought of this extremely overpowered ripped 2m tall beast goddess casually hanging out and solving puzzles with the Layton gang

Dude. Akutami is so stupidly intelligent and cultured.
This week Gege was like: here, think about the pragmatic and semantic meaning of “mass”, here’s an important hint hidden in the kanji, and now I want you to wonder about how language shapes reality, then here’s some symbolism from the mother of Buddhism--Hinduism, and World Cup 2022 references all while subtly revealing Yuki’s type .
Seriously. I just want him to keep doing what he’s doing.
Jujutsu Kaisen is something else.

this might be a tough one, but... what about 5 birds you really like? doesn't have to be top 5! just SOME birds you like
Ooh! Birdies!
(You all know by now this is less a ranking and more me rambling lol. Also, I talk about animal deaths (in more of a scientific way to be fair) because birds of prey and other fun nature stuff. )
1. American Robins. Which are not actually robins but are a type of thrush we call robins because bird names in North America are a mess lol. I get flocks of these guys coming in and out, throughout all four seasons. They're also very cute little song birds, and can be such funny little guys too lol (My winterberry bush died this year, but one autumn I saw this pair of robins break from the flock gathering and start fighting each other up in the sky before resuming eating berries like nothing ever happened. Absolutely hilarious lol.)
2. Shrikes. Better known as butcher birds, these guys are wicked cool. You see they're carnivorous songbirds, with the exact build of one (sans a sharp beak for obvious reasons). Feet included. So how do they eat their prey, you ask? By impaling them on thorns and other sharp objects! They're cute songbirds, just to make that clear. Have fun! (They're more common outside of the Americas though, so that's a bummer. We got Loggerheads and Great Greys though, but I haven't seen any lol.)
3. Cowbirds. Or really, any sort of brood parasite. Cowbirds are here because their my resident brood parasite. I find it utterly fascinating on just a scientific, evolutionary level just how these guys evolved (as well as how their targets evolve in turn), like how do their young learn all this from a nest that isn't theirs? (Actually I do know some answers for cowbirds, but if I were to ramble we'd be here all day.) What makes cowbirds unique compared to others like common cuckoos and whydahs is that they are actually generalists when it comes to targets. Most brood parasites are specialists, only targeting one species (with common cuckoos being a really interesting case in this, but again, we'd be here all day). Cowbirds (with one exception) target pretty much anything that builds a cup-sized nest. It's really really fascinating, in that kind of cruel, bizarre way nature tends to be (and I haven't even got to touch on the mafia with my resident brown-heads).
4. Swans. They're dicks. Graceful dicks, but still dicks. And yet, it is in that dickery I find fascinating. Like, did you know swan wings are strong enough to break bones? Well they can! But there are such things as Trumpeter Swans, which well, sound like trumpets. It's cute and weirdly endearing in its own way, at least to me (although to be fair Trumpeters are calmer than Mutes so there's that. Also unlike Mutes, they are native to North America, so I hope I might see one one day). Also cygnets are utterly adorable, even with the knowledge they grow up to be nasty swans lol.
4. Wood ducks. Haven't seen these guys either, but they absolutely fascinate me. They nest in tree cavities, so what tends to happen once the eggs hatch is that the mother duck has to coax her ducklings out into this leap of faith (that actually isn't usually much of ones because small ducklings and laws of physics bullshit I can't remember)! It's incredible! They're also gorgeous birds, and the males sound like kazoos! (Playing clips of females making a typical (if not like a Mallard's at all) duck quack, and following it with the male's kazoo squack to friends and relatives is a fun one. Try it if you know what I'm talking about lol.)
And those are my five birds to talk about at the moment. It was a bit tough, but I think that's more because I didn't get to gush over too many various birds of prey (like owls). Feel free to send in any bird asks if you got any fyi! It's fun!
