Eggman has a soft spot for Tails is getting more and more confirmed.

First he COMPLIMENTED HIM in Final Horizon and pretty much encouraged him.

Then, he goes "I don't do hugs... Unless it's for you, Tails." In the takeover.

Then he gets all teary when Tails gives him a compliment during the takeover.

AND NOW, HE GIVES HIM A GIFT. I know Tails is the one who gifted him first, but even so, HE FELT THE NEED TO GIFT TAILS BACK. AND AND AND even when Tails used the gift against him he still respected it and left. THE CUPOM WORKS!!

Also, love how Tails was the one to gift Shadow. And you can't tell me that Shadow didn't like that scarf.

Those are small things, but I love how Tails is finally getting the love, appreciation and respect he deserves after being potrayed poorly and even ridiculized for so many years. Our fox boy deserves this.

I don't know if this has been done already, probably has, if it has please tell me where to find it.

But I kinda wanna see a Sonic AU where Eggman and his henchmen/bots are the good guys and Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and their friends are the bad guys.

And Shadow of course, instead of an anti-hero is an anti-villain.

It would be so cool to see a bunch of evil speedy colorful animals trying to destroy a hero-y human scientist with their claws and teeth. Maybe we can let the egg guy win for once.

Eclipse struggles to stand up, but only succedes in falling back to his knees. As he sits there, panting heavily, exhausted, Black Doom narrows his eyes. “You’re weak,” he mutters.

Eclipse curls a fist underneath him.

“I’ve seen enough for today,” Black Doom declares. “Regain your strength and we’ll continue tomorrow.”

“Yes, Master,” Shadow says, saluting. With that, Black Doom glides out of the training room. As soon as he’s gone, Shadow rushes to his brother’s side to help him up.

“I can do it, I know I can,” Eclipse mutters, shaking unsteadily. Shadow throws Eclipse’s arm over his shoulder. “Just need to work harder.”

“What you need is rest,” Shadow says firmly. “Come on. Let’s get you to your room.”
