❰❰ CRY ❱❱ sender cries in front of receiver with ur caiera and my hiro sometime after he gets his face burn
@mistyflame1
Despite what her other self and husbands' and wife said, "coward" was a rather apt name.
She hadn't been brave enough to show her children the truth of where they came from, hadn't been brave enough to truly change things until the rest of her family had been able to save her from the core of Sakaar itself.
But perhaps...she could be brave enough for this?
The tears building and falling from her other child's eyes made Caiera's heart twist, a physical pain that she found herself clutching at her chest as she stared. For years she had been worried this would happen, but to see it occur anyway...
Oh Hiro-Kala...
Despite her own pain and tears, Caiera swallowed them back briefly. Her child needed her to be strong, a thought that pushed the shadow to gently place her hand on the blanket Hiro was tucked under. Not reaching for him, but a offering if he wished to reach back.
"Hiro-Kala..." She swallowed thickly, "My baby. No matter what happens or what you may think, I'll always love you. I'll always admire what a strong and caring person you are, what you do for people when they don't see it..."
"Regardless of what happens to you or what you think; I will always love you."
Gently, hands almost shaking, Caiera touched Hiro's unburned jaw. She could have cried with relief when he allowed her to bring their foreheads together. "No matter how much rain may come, it cannot smooth this stone, (gemstone)..."

Hulk
The Hulk is a fictional superhero appearing in publications by the American publisher Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in the debut issue of The Incredible Hulk (May 1962). In his comic book appearances, the character is both the Hulk, a green-skinned, hulking and muscular humanoid possessing a vast degree of physical strength, and his alter ego Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, a physically weak, socially withdrawn, and emotionally reserved physicist. The two exist as independent dissociative personalities, and resent each other.
Following his accidental exposure to gamma rays saving the life of Rick Jones during the detonation of an experimental bomb, Banner is physically transformed into the Hulk when subjected to emotional stress, at or against his will, often leading to destructive rampages and conflicts that complicate Banner's civilian life. The Hulk's level of strength is normally conveyed as proportionate to his level of anger. Commonly portrayed as a raging savage, the Hulk has been represented with other personalities based on Banner's fractured psyche, from a mindless, destructive force, to a brilliant warrior, or genius scientist in his own right. Despite both Hulk and Banner's desire for solitude, the character has a large supporting cast. This includes Banner's lover Betty Ross, his best friend Rick Jones, his cousin She-Hulk, and therapist and ally Doc Samson. In addition, the Hulk alter ego has many key supporting characters like his co-founders of the superhero team the Avengers, his queen Caiera, fellow warriors Korg and Miek, and sons Skaar and Hiro-Kala. However, his uncontrollable power has brought him into conflict with his fellow heroes and others. Despite this he tries his best to do what's right while battling villains such as Leader, Abomination, Absorbing Man and more.
Lee stated that the Hulk's creation was inspired by a combination of Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Although the Hulk's coloration has varied throughout the character's publication history, the most usual color is green.
One of the most iconic characters in popular culture, the character has appeared on a variety of merchandise, such as clothing and collectable items, inspired real-world structures (such as theme park attractions), and been referenced in a number of media. Banner and the Hulk have been adapted in live-action, animated, and video game incarnations. The character was first played in a live-action feature film by Eric Bana. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character was portrayed by Edward Norton in the film The Incredible Hulk (2008) and by Mark Ruffalo in the films The Avengers (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013) in a cameo, Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Captain Marvel (2019) in a cameo, and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Ruffalo will reprise the role in the upcoming Disney+ series What If...? (2021) and She-Hulk (2022).
> Personality
Bruce Banner During his decades of publication, Banner has been portrayed differently, but common themes persist. Banner, a physicist, is sarcastic and seemingly very self-assured when he first appears in Incredible Hulk #1, but is also emotionally withdrawn. Banner designed the gamma bomb which caused his affliction, and the ironic twist of his self-inflicted fate has been one of the most persistent common themes. Arie Kaplan describes the character thus: "Robert Bruce Banner lives in a constant state of panic, always wary that the monster inside him will erupt, and therefore he can't form meaningful bonds with anyone." As a child, Banner's father Brian often got mad and physically abused both Banner and his mother, creating the psychological complex of fear, anger, and the fear of anger and the destruction it can cause that underlies the character. Banner has been shown to be emotionally repressed, but capable of deep love for Betty Ross, and for solving problems posed to him. Under the writing of Paul Jenkins, Banner was shown to be a capable fugitive, applying deductive reasoning and observation to figure out the events transpiring around him. On the occasions that Banner has controlled the Hulk's body, he has applied principles of physics to problems and challenges and used deductive reasoning. It was shown after his ability to turn into the Hulk was taken away by the Red Hulk that Banner has been extremely versatile as well as cunning when dealing with the many situations that followed. When he was briefly separated from the Hulk by Doom, Banner became criminally insane, driven by his desire to regain the power of the Hulk, but once the two recombined he came to accept that he was a better person with the Hulk to provide something for him to focus on controlling rather than allowing his intellect to run without restraint against the world.
Hulk The original Hulk was shown as grey and average in intelligence who roamed aimlessly and became annoyed at "puny" humans who took him for a dangerous monster. Shortly after becoming the Hulk, his transformation continued turning him green, coinciding with him beginning to display primitive speech, and by Incredible Hulk #4 radiation treatments gave Banner's mind complete control of the Hulk's body. While Banner relished his indestructibility and power, he was quick to anger and more aggressive in his Hulk form, and, while he became known as a hero alongside the Avengers, his increasing paranoia caused him to leave the group, believing he would never be trusted.
Originally, the Hulk was shown as simple minded and quick to anger. The Hulk generally divorces his identity from Banner's, decrying Banner as "puny Banner." From his earliest stories, the Hulk has been concerned with finding sanctuary and quiet and often is shown reacting emotionally to situations quickly. Grest and Weinberg call Hulk the "dark, primordial side of Banner's psyche." Even in the earliest appearances, Hulk spoke in the third person. Hulk retains a modest intelligence, thinking and talking in full sentences, and Lee even gives the Hulk expository dialogue in issue six, allowing readers to learn just what capabilities Hulk has, when the Hulk says, "But these muscles ain't just for show! All I gotta do is spring up and just keep goin'!" In the 1970s, Hulk was shown as more prone to anger and rage, and less talkative. Writers played with the nature of his transformations, briefly giving Banner control over the change, and the ability to maintain control of his Hulk form. Artistically and conceptually, the character has become progressively more muscular and powerful in the years since his debut.
Originally, Stan Lee wanted the Hulk to be grey, but, due to ink problems, Hulk's color was changed to green. This was later changed in the story to indicate that the Grey Hulk and the Savage Hulk are separate personalities or entities fighting for control in Bruce's subconscious. The Grey Hulk incarnation can do the more unscrupulous things that Banner could not bring himself to do, with many sources comparing the Grey Hulk to the moody teenager that Banner never allowed himself to be. While the Grey Hulk still had the "madder he gets, the stronger he gets" part that is similar to the Savage Hulk, it is on a much slower rate. It is said by Leader that the Grey Hulk is stronger on nights of the new moon and weaker on nights of the full moon. Originally, the night is when Bruce Banner becomes the Grey Hulk and changes back by dawn. In later comics, willpower or stress would have Banner turn into the Grey Hulk. During one storyline where he was placed under a spell to prevent him turning back into Bruce Banner and publicly presumed dead when he was teleported away from a gamma bomb explosion that destroyed an entire town, the Grey Hulk adopted a specific name as Joe Fixit, a security guard for a Las Vegas casino owner, with the Grey Hulk often being referred to as Joe after these events.
The Gravage Hulk is the result of Banner using the Gamma Projector on himself which merged his Savage Hulk and Grey Hulk personas. This form possesses the raw power of the Savage Hulk and the cunning intellect of the Grey Hulk. While he doesn't draw on anger to empower him, the Gravage Hulk persona draws on dimensional nexus energies to increase his strength.
The Dark Hulk persona is the result of Hulk being possessed by Shanzar. This form has black skin and is viciously strong.
The Guilt Hulk is a malevolent representation of Banner's abusive father, Brian Banner, that manifests itself in Banner's childhood memories.
The Devil Hulk or Immortal Hulk is the result of Hulk needing a father figure. While the character's physical appearance varies, he is always depicted as having glowing red eyes, and reptilian traits. The new form of Devil Hulk is the result of Banner and Hulk having been through different deaths and rebirths. This incarnation is articulate, smart, and cunning, and does merciless attacks on those who do harm. Unlike the other Hulk incarnations, Devil Hulk is content with waiting inside Bruce. If Bruce is injured by sunset, the Devil Hulk will emerge with his transformation being limited to night-time. Thanks to the Devil Hulk side and Banner working together, Devil Hulk can maintain his form in sunlight.
The Green Scar persona is unleashed on Sakaar and is an enraged version of Gravage Hulk. In addition, he is an expert in armed combat like the use of swords and shields. Green Scar is also a capable leader and an expert strategist.
Doc Green is a variation of the Merged Hulk persona that is the result of Extremis fixing Hulk's brain. This persona is powerful enough to destroy Tony Stark's mansion with one thunderclap.
> Powers and Abilities
Banner is considered one of the greatest scientific minds on Earth, possessing "a mind so brilliant it cannot be measured on any known intelligence test." Norman Osborn estimates that he is the fourth most-intelligent person on Earth. Banner holds expertise in biology, chemistry, engineering, medicine, physiology, and nuclear physics. Using this knowledge, he creates advanced technology dubbed "Bannertech", which is on par with technological development from Tony Stark or Doctor Doom. Some of these technologies include a force field that can protect him from the attacks of Hulk-level entities, and a teleporter.
The Hulk possesses the potential for seemingly limitless physical strength which is influenced by his emotional state, particularly his anger. This has been reflected in the repeated comment, "The madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets." The cosmically-powerful entity known as the Beyonder once analyzed the Hulk's physiology, and claimed that the Hulk's potential strength had "no finite element inside." Hulk's strength has been depicted as sometimes limited by Banner's subconscious influence; when Jean Grey psionically "shut Banner off", Hulk became strong enough to overpower and destroy the physical form of the villain Onslaught. Writer Greg Pak described the Worldbreaker Hulk shown during World War Hulk as having a level of physical power where "Hulk was stronger than any mortal—and most immortals—who ever walked the Earth", and depicted the character as powerful enough to completely destroy entire planets. His strength allows him to leap into lower Earth orbit or across continents, and he has displayed superhuman speed. Exposure to radiation has also been shown to make the Hulk stronger. It is unknown how he gains biomass during transformation but it may be linked to One-Below-All.
His durability, regeneration, and endurance also increase in proportion to his temper. Hulk is resistant to injury or damage, though the degree to which varies between interpretations, but he has withstood the equivalent of solar temperatures, nuclear explosions, and planet-shattering impacts. Despite his remarkable resiliency, continuous barrages of high-caliber gunfire can hinder his movement to some degree while he can be temporarily subdued by intense attacks with chemical weapons such as anesthetic gases, although any interruption of such dosages will allow him to quickly recover. He has been shown to have both regenerative and adaptive healing abilities, including growing tissues to allow him to breathe underwater, surviving unprotected in space for extended periods, and when injured, healing from most wounds within seconds, including, on one occasion, the complete destruction of most of his body mass. His future self, "Maestro", was even eventually able to recover from being blown to pieces. As an effect, he has an extremely prolonged lifespan.
He also possesses less commonly described powers, including abilities allowing him to "home in" to his place of origin in New Mexico; resist psychic control, or unwilling transformation; grow stronger from radiation or dark magic; punch his way between separate temporal or spatial dimensions; and to see and interact with astral forms. Some of these abilities were in later years explained as being related; his ability to home in on the New Mexico bomb site was due to his latent ability to sense astral forms and spirits, since the bomb site was also the place where the Maestro's skeleton was and Maestro's spirit was calling out to him in order to absorb his radiation.
In the first Hulk comic series, "massive" doses of gamma rays would cause the Hulk to transform back to Banner, although this ability was written out of the character by the 1970s.

Ragnarök: Asgard’s Twilight
Chapter 8: In The Arena
N/: Added a little reference to Planet Hulk this chapter in case anyone noticed it😉 Also, I changed Hela's color from green to red since I didn't like that Taika changed Loki's color to blue. Like, he really doesn't like Loki, huh🙄That and I like the idea of the Odin trio being the primary colors: Hela is red, Thor is blue, and Loki is green😁 Let me know what you guys think!👍
Thor’s body was thrown into a dirty cell forcefully as he grunted in pain. He ran to the door before it closed in his face. Thor yelled as he slammed his shoulder onto the door. A large dent was made, but it stayed shut.
He ran his fingers through his hair, exasperating as he realized just what he had gotten himself into. As he turned his head, his eyes fixed on an alien woman, with grey skin and long, dark hair. She donned some silver armor about her person. With high cheekbones and a slender yet muscular body, Thor could admit that she was quite the beauty.
“You there” Her voice broke the silence as Thor noticed that she was now looking at him with a stern expression “Come here”
He strode towards her, noting that she was much taller than he was. Where Thor stood at six feet and six inches, this woman appeared to be a whole foot taller than him.
Before Thor could say anything, however, the lady cut him off “It seems like you’re the Grandmaster’s new champion. Very well, then. We’ll make sure the audience gets their entertainment for tonight”
Thor furrowed a brow “I absolutely refuse to fight for that perverted, condescending slug” he sneered “There’s no time for any of this, I need to escape this place immediately”
“I’m afraid that’s not possible, Golden Lion” She said “No one leaves this place, and if they do, they’re hunted by the Grandmaster’s scrappers and flogged for attempting to leave. Sometimes the punishments are worse, if the one above is feeling excited”
The lady extended her hand and flashed a small smile on her black painted lips “My name is Caiera. I act as an almost trainer for some of the fighters here. But seeing as the Grandmaster has chosen you personally as a champion, it must mean you already have some skill”
Thor was about to introduce himself. For one, if he even said his first name, there’s no way no one would ever let him leave. And secondly, it’s because he noticed who Caiera was.
“You’re...” he began “You’re one of the Shadow People. They held a power native only to Sakaar”
Caiera’s mouth opened slightly “Yes...how did you know that?”
Thor shrugged his shoulders “I had quite the education back home”
The two walked to the armory, where there was colorful armor with painted markings and alien creatures preparing themselves for the ring “I suppose I should warn you;” Caiera began “Many of the contenders will fight with blood to win. There is one the Grandmaster favors above all. He keeps him in a special cell, away from all the other fighters, until he is ready”
“I won’t have a problem” Thor stated, grabbing one of the weapons hanging from the wall “I have fought many enemies in my lifetime, and one way or another, I’ve succeeded”
Caiera seemed to differ “Well, this fighter is a big one, and he doesn’t take kindly to failure” She took the mace Thor was holding and replaced it with a blue-bladed sword “Do not be fooled, Lion; I may take liking to you, but you are alone in this fight”
Thor was about to respond, but some alien bodyguards grabbed him by his shoulders, hard. He was dragged once again by the ankles and thrown into a vacant room. The guards tied him to yet another chair, leaving the man alone in his thoughts. Thor twisted his wrists, the leather tight around his arms.
He needed to get home. Hela was probably on Asgard by now, and here he was, light years away. Thor leaned his head back onto the chair, closing his eyes in frustration. Looking up at the ceiling, Thor tried thinking of a plan. Anything to help him. But instead, his mind went somewhere else.
“Odin, I bid you take your place in the halls of Valhalla...” Thor whispered in prayer. The rage he felt towards his father was ever present, but Thor couldn’t be cruel. Couldn’t tell his body to simply move on and forget “Where the brave shall live forever. Nor shall we mourn but rejoice-“
“-for those that have died the glorious death” That last part was said in unison alongside a familiar voice. Thor turned his head to see Loki, standing in the shadows with his hands clasped together. He moved forward to stand in front of his brother, looking at him solemnly.
“Hurts, doesn’t it?” Loki said “Being lied to. To have everything in your life be for naught and feel as if your actions never had meaning”
Thor could only turn his head away, with the sound of Loki’s exasperated breath “I’m only speaking the truth. Father lied to me as well, you know”
But Thor doesn’t say a word, unable to look at his brother in the eye. Either way, Loki only sighed “If it’s any consolation: from what I hear, most of the gladiators here are inexperienced, so you may have some leverage in the ring. Can’t say the same for the Grandmasters favorite contender, however. He’s supposed to be astonishingly savage and has never lost a fight. Apparently he’s quite the idol amongst the audience, even the slaves take liking to him”
Thor averted his eyes back to Loki “I suppose you won’t be aiding me this time, brother”
Loki shook his head “Never said that, but I cannot just throw away my position with the Grandmaster. You know me better. If I help you directly, then we’re both doomed. We’d only be making it more difficult to stop Hela. But indirectly, we may have a chance”
Thor cocked an eyebrow “Is the truth so unbelievable that not even you can face it?”
The sentence made his brother tense, his lips pursing tightly “What would you have me do? Call her mother and be done with it? Acknowledge Hela as my blood and in turn, Laufey? Should that be my most logical conclusion, brother?” Loki sneered “Oh no, forgive me, ‘uncle’” He made gestures with his fingers as he said that.
Alright, Thor thought, that was too far. They both were going through many emotions at the moment. Thor just got his brother back. He didn’t want their connections to go sour yet again.
He sighed deeply ”I’m sorry, Loki” Thor said “Truly. It’s just...so much has happened...I just...why would Father have a need to lie?”
Loki could shrug his shoulders “Neither of us know Father’s intentions, and I’m afraid now we never will. But what I do know is that the people of Asgard shouldn’t suffer for Father’s mistakes”
Thor remained silent, afraid to say the wrong thing or have his emotions control him again. Footsteps could then be heard coming towards the room, and Loki took that as his cue to leave “I’ll see if I can ensure that your fight runs... sufficient enough so as to buy time to conduct a plan. Between the two of us, all these lambent colors are making my eyes want to burst”
“Loki-“ Thor said, stopping his brother in his tracks. He could see that Loki wanted to say something else, but he held his silver tongue and remained silent, only looking at his older brother in desperation. Thor’s mouth hinged at the expression.
Like that, Loki’s projection was gone. The alien bodyguards returned, one of them holding a sharp blade in his hand “Need to get you nice and pretty for the crowd, little cub” he said in a low tone of voice.
Thor sat confused for a moment, but when the other bodyguard grabbed his hair, forcefully pulling his head back, his eyes widened in rage. He kicked the aliens knee and ripped at his restraints. Like paper they broke free. Thor threw the bodyguard into the wall, trying to go to the door, but the other alien grabbed his shoulders and pummeled Thor into the ground.
His assistant held the blade tightly and pulled at Thor’s hair so hard he winced in pain. It went as quickly as it came, as Thor could feel the strands releasing from his scalp. And he could’ve sworn he felt his head getting damp.
———————————————————————————————————–
Loki looked out the giant window of the so called ‘VIP lounge’, contemplating what to do. His eyes fixed on the Grandmaster, who was currently rallying up the crowd and getting them excited for the fight soon to occur.
Turning away from the window, Loki paced about in his thoughts, thinking of a plan to escape. As he went to go get a drink, his attention was averted to the open hallway. There in front of him, was none other than The Vixen.
Making sure the Grandmaster was distracted, Loki followed The Vixen as she walked away, unaware of his presence. Or so the man thought, as she stopped in her tracks and acknowledged him.
“Shouldn’t you be getting on the observatory ships, Luke?” Vixen said, speaking Loki’s false name
Loki could only smirk “I thought that as the Grandmasters closest colleague you would join him in watching the Contest, hmm?”
The Vixen scoffed “I’ve seen far too many fights in my years, and all have ended the same. This’ll be one I will gladly skip”
“Really? I do believe that the match might prove to be quite...exciting” Loki noticed Vixen getting tense, almost positioning her body in a fighting stance. He too prepared himself for any oncoming attacks. Seemed The Vixen didn’t care that they were currently in the middle of a vacant hallway from which anyone could appear. Frankly, neither did Loki.
She lunged towards him, trying to throw a punch. But Loki blocked it, twisting the Vixen within his grasp before she kneed him and moved her leg so as to throw off his balance. The Vixen landed atop Loki, once again trying to throw a punch, but Loki was quick. He pushed Vixen off him with an energy blast, running towards her before she could regain her composure.
A dagger was pointed at his neck as Loki held The Vixen in place. Before he could move, Vixen’s poncho moved aside to reveal her bare arm. Loki could see markings and brands on her skin, and his eyes widened as he realized what they were.
“These are Asgardian runes...” Loki breathed, astonished. The Vixen took advantage of his dumbfounded state and attempted to attack him with her dagger, but they both turned their heads once they felt the presence of the Grandmaster.
His brows were furrowed, and his hands on his hips “Now just what you think you’re doing, Luke?” He scolded
Loki was about to answer, but turned back to see The Vixen walking away angrily and muttering in a familiar language, sheathing her dagger back onto her person. His eyes reverted again to the Grandmaster “Nothing. Was just distracted”
A quick excuse, he thought.
The Grandmasters arm went around his shoulder, and Loki felt an uncomfortable slither upon his spin “Good” The Grandmaster smiled “I wouldn’t want you to miss this event. Many of my guests have already bid on who will win. The winner will get a very...special gift from yours truly. Care to join?”
Loki could’ve sword her saw the man wiggle his eyebrows, and the slither his spin felt worsened. How he wanted to just take the man and shove him off the roof. But Loki played along and flashed an awkward grin.
“No...no thank you”
———————————————————————————————————–
Back on Asgard, Hela and Skurge walked to the gates of the golden palace. They opened with a loud boom, several Einherjar guards pointing their spears at the Goddess of Death. They were about to charge, but Hela mockingly shushed them. Skurge had prepared himself for the supposed carnage. However, he was mistaken.
With a wave of her hand, glowing red with magic, Hela twiddled her fingers. The magical energy spread, and the guards put their spears down, their eyes lighting the same color. They moved out of the way for Hela to walk through, and they stood at attention. Skurge could only look on in a mix of confusion and astonishment.
Hela turned to him with a smirk on her face “Just a simple mentality spell to keep them in check. After all, what is a queen without her queensguard?”
She gazed upon the throne in front of her, walking up the steps and sitting atop it. Hela breathed satisfyingly, practically beaming. Skurge could’ve seen it as a beautiful sight, had the woman not been absolutely deranged.
“You know,” Her voice echoed through the halls, grabbing Skurge’s attention “The stars whispered many stories to me so I wouldn’t get bored. Had they not been in my company, perhaps I would’ve gone mad”
Skurge chuckled nervously “Yes...of course”
Hela held her chin up high “They told me of Loki’s escapades; how he managed to bend the mortals minds to his will and assert his dominance properly. I suppose he takes it from me, I have always enjoyed a more...mystical touch than just a furnished weapon”
“More than I can say for my brother” Hela rolled her eyes and sneered “That buffoon simply gave up his claim, and for what?! To keep peace within the realms? Had he truly been wise, he’d know that peace never lasts in these forsaken kingdoms”
She waved her hand yet again, and a projection of red energy rested on her palm. Skurge walked up a few steps to see, careful not to get too close. He could see Odin riding atop his horse Sleipnir, and next to him was a young Hela, dressed in a red cape and riding a dark steed.
“My father ruled the Nine Realms with an iron fist” Hela explained “By his side, I was his most valued soldier. His prized general. It never occurred to me, how he’d never acknowledge me as his daughter. I never even knew until years before he banished me into an eternal abyss”
Those last words were said with venom, yet Skurge could see a hint of sadness in Hela’s seemingly hollow eyes. He then saw the projection change. Young Hela was now standing next to a tall figure who seemed to pay no mind to her.
“Once I met Laufey,” Hela said, Skurge’s eyes widening “,noting else mattered. He made me understand that on Asgard, I was weakened. Nothing more than a weapon to Odin”
She stood from the throne and waved her arm, the magic spreading across the throne room to create an illusion. Skurge saw the walls turn from gold to stone. Mist covered the floor alongside skulls of the dead.
Hela still stood proudly as the sounds of tortured souls filled the room “With Laufey ruling Jotunheim, I ruled Niffleheim alongside my young brother, Fenris. I was an adored Queen. Every day, I had a new audience to bask in my radiance” She smiled, cheekily and deviously.
“But the All-Father,” her eyes grew dark “he didn’t like that. Oh no...he didn’t”
“...Such a mistake...”
Skurge looked to see a sight he never thought he’d see in his wildest dreams. Or his worst nightmares. In the dark ceiling, he saw winged horses, white as pure snow. It would’ve been a beautiful sight...had they not been plunging from the sky, blood spilling from their bodies like jewels off stone.
The legendary women riding these magnificent steeds all had fallen. Some were impaled by giant, black spikes, others were plummeting alongside their horses. Skurge could only look on in horror, as the faint sounds of battle filled his ears. Like feathers from a bird, the warriors descended from the heavens helplessly.
“You must understand, my Executioner” Hela said, Skurge turning back to her “The road to recognition always begins with the destruction of chains. To understand our place in the world, we must release ourselves from those who would imprison us. When our self fulfillment is complete, then the whole world will kneel to our feet”
Skurge listened to her words, thinking of how for most of his life, he had mostly been ignored by the people. It didn’t make him happy to serve Hela, but if this what was needed for him to be noticed....so be it.
Hela smiled down at him “I have my throne. I have my queensguard. Now, I need only my army”
———————————————————————————————————–
The arena was booming with thousand of people. Cheers and screams filled the place as their blood pumped for the oncoming fight. Above them, the observation ships flew, the biggest one holding the Grandmaster. Loki stood next to him cautiously, his hands clasped closely to his chest.
A projection of the Grandmaster addressed the audience with a welcoming smile “What a show this has been. Let’s give a round of applause for our opening acts who perished oh, so gruesomely!” The crowd cheered him on “But now, it’s time for the main event. As you can see, I have rounded up some of my best contenders to, heh, ‘unwillingly’ participant in this fight”
The cheers of the crowd grew louder with every word. Amongst the other observation ships, The Vixen was on one, holding a glass of dark wine and looking down at the scene. Loki noticed her suspiciously. Seemed like she didn’t want to skip this fight after all.
In the arena, ten different gladiators stood outside the gates, waiting eagerly for the fight to start.
“But before we begin, allow me to introduce our newest contender” The Grandmaster announced “Standing at six feet, he’s a real heart throb, ready to show us what he’s made of. Ladies and gentlemen...” He pauses for dramatic effect “...I am proud to present, the newest addition of our show...Give it up for the Golden Lion!”
A whoosh noise was heard as the gates opened. Once they were fully unlatched, Thor walked out with blue-bladed swords in hand. His long hair was fully shaved, his Asgardian gear was replaced with gladiator armor, and his face was painted red. In his hand was a helmet, which he placed upon his head. Thor walked towards the other gladiators, not paying mind to their dark looks and snarls at him.
“Now, audience!” The Grandmaster said “It’s time for our favorite brute to show himself!”
This time, the crowd was going wild with anticipation. The gates opened, the sound of loud banging startling Thor as he bracedd himself “You know him...” He heard the Grandmaster say “...You all love him...Put your hands together for-“
“-THE INCREDIBLE HULK!!!”
A familiar green beast emerged from the shadows, donned with armor and a Spartan helmet. Hulk roared as he pounded his chest like a gorilla, making the crowd scream his name.
Thor could see the other fighters tense up, but all he could do was look in shock. Above him, Loki had the same expression as his brother, and they also seemed to have the same thing in mind.
“Oh crud...”

Since you like my alt-Marauders (WHICH IM SO HAPPY FOR) how about challenge for headcanons of them interacting with the Smashers, as allies or foes or just a chance encounter? No need to, I just thought it might be something you'd have fun with!
@thecorteztwins k I'm suddenly in a big writing mood so!! FINALLY getting around to this I'm so sorry sksksk
For anyone who doesn't know: Thecorteztwins has an amazing au where she's collected Haven (thicc angel lady who was possessed by a demon disguised as a baby), Claudine (Miss Sinister),Madelyne (clone of Jean Grey), Pyro, Sebastian Shaw, Shinobi Shaw and sometimes Alice (a clone being tested by Claudine)!
I feel like the first few days are really testy. Everyone's got some bone to pick, the usual. But the biggest thing? The name. A brief encounter with paparazzi ends with their name and the reactions go from Pyro and Claudine scoffing at how silly it sounds and what a rip off it is (Pyro being a writer?? U KNOW he wouldn't stand for Alt Marauders) to Shaw sighing about the fact that he's been stuck on a team with a cliche super nickname.
Then there's personal names because once again, Pryo and Shinobi both agree that everyone needs a name to reapply make them unique! Hardly anyone goes for it, ranging from Haven's soft "no thank you" to Shaw punting Pyro into a wall. Madelyne is slightly soft for Pyro's RPG themed alias ideas for her and less than impressed for Shinobi's idea of "Mad Milf".
Alice....I'm definitely thinking she gets nicknamed "White Rabbit" or "Wonderland" because; 1) no one can leave her out of getting a name. 2) Pyro 100% would give a cheesy media related name and 3) I like the very small connections of white rabbit to the white and red queens in Alice in Wonderland (and 4) rabbits always get experimented on :).
Gamma Gals having amazing duos with the ladies of the Marauders? Absolutely!!
Jen and Haven, being an amazing duo and I feel like they'd be the two who would have that issue where they're the only ones who can save the day and end up learning a lot from each other? Haven is probably thanking her stars that she finally gets to meet a hero who believes in her kindness just as much as she does (S H A W).
Just....Haven being able to meet an even bigger woman and trading stories and being GalPals(TM). Its a really interesting concept to me that Haven is someone who was deliberately used to destroy and Jen is someone who's entire identity is formed around smashing and destruction. It's probably rather cathartic to be working with someone who purely doesn't want to resort to violence immediately and who has been used (Haven by her demon and Jen by different people).
But also learning something from each other? Haven being able to see that sometimes you do need to fight for what you love and Haven proves to Jen that even after all this time, it isn't the muscle or power that can save everything, it's her and her drive and will alone. Catch Red and Shaw scoffing about it.
Speaking of, those two could either REALLY clash or really get along, no imbetweens. Have we found another old man for Shaw to wrestle with, Roman style??? (Ngl that would be hot in a sick way)
Skaar and Shinobi? Both long haired, beautiful, sons of big figures, grew up in abusive environments,,,,its a duo. Just put Shinobi into a mini team with Skaar and Daken and we have the "Black haired brood squad"
Rick and Pyro working together to have a joint production??? FIrebomb productions baby!! My podcast ideas? Absolutely would happen when you combine these two and its hell. Aka; Rick and Pyro gossip on their podcast and give advice to starting heroes as immortals and smack talk. But also outside of that I imagine they can get along a lot in the "had a hard time accepting stuff" and "we were heroes who often did a lot for others and got disregarded and hurt for it".
Pyro: Hey if I set you on fire can you become a flaming bowling ball
Rick: well let's fine out!!
Red and Shaw....there's a lot there. Both are old men who have been pressed on in their lives and affected by masculine presences in their lives...both are regarded as awful shitbags but they're both MUCH more complex and driven by a need for power and stability...lots of thoughts here.
Shaw and Red are one team you do NOT wanna mess with because two old men who are perfectly willing to do what's needed? Red can respect a man willing to get his hands dirty with clear means and Shaw can probably like a guy who has the drive to do what he believes is the better good. Also big hulk man who can give you endless power.
But also differences in them because Shaw abused and continues to abuse Shinobi while Red neglected and most likely emotionally abused Betty but it seemingly trying to make a difference in it now that she's come back? I feel like these two probably have a SUPER in depth conversation when forced to or alone and then never speak about it again.
Spending of Betty! Her and Madelyne?? What a DUO they're litreally a great mix because Maddie is a clone of Jean, Betty was assumed to be a clone at first and often has to suffer being the "domintrix" she hulk. Both have serious issues with their mental health and identities as well as dealing with their lives being ruled or devoted to men who ruin them. Both want freedom and have such passion! I just....so much to say about these two and the similarities. They're both red.
But yeah Phoenix and Harpy?? Skksks Maddie voice: I'm FIRE HARPY nOW
Am I still yelling for her hero name to be Griffin because of how mystical they are and being a bird and lion??? Yeah.
Also sad thoughts but,,,gals talking about their lost kids (Maddie with Nate and Betty suffered a miscarriage induced from stress), the stress of their lovers and who they've lost to (Jean, Emma, Caiera, Jarella,,,) and being manipulated by men for their power (Maddie by Sinister into Goblyn queen and Betty by Leader into Red She-hulk, Harpy, both died).
Anyway point is I can fully see them two just CLICKING or fighting a lot at first until someone points out just how similar they are. Then? Maddie and Betty out here being the brand new Thelma and Louise. Red and Black styles, willing to use force but protect the innocent, both take Alice and this cute kid that Betty absolutely mother henned in her run and,,,two moms and their talented daughters pls step out the way sir.
Tbh I don't think I have much for Samuel apart form him having a small crush on Claudine (and like,,,,not in That Sense, but Samuel does have a big history of falling for smart women or just...OP women). And then a series of gags where Haven wants to know him because he's like Shaw but also incredibly different in thinking and everytime she walks into the room,,,,Samuel is doing some horrific experiment and she just NOPES OUT. Shaw wants to make use of this but it goes horribly wrong oh God why did he try.
Lyra! I just....feel like there could be a lot for her and Claudine and Alice. Lyra was genetically engineered to be used in a war and was bullied relentlessly for being "half man" which...is rather transphobic and sexist but that's her storyline and it's too deeply embedded for me to headcanon over it so...sighs.
But yeah!!! Lyra taking Alice and giving her a night of being able to just....be whoever that night, not being pressured to have an identity of the sorts from anyone and just being able to fight people with a giant green woman. Probably has a lot of deep talks later that night with Lyra, sitting over a building and eating ice cream because it was one of the first things Bruce shared with her and a first realisation that Lyra could be more than someone's daughter.
100% would picture this with Carmilla (Lyra's sister and...also messy kinda clone) or Laura Kinney hopping along and!! Clone weapon woman team!! I could GET INTO this!!! Just...pls marvel give me a team of women overcoming abuse and forming identities among each other and cool women,,,,
But also Lyra admittedly would respect Claudine for her skills and her...tenacity? Yeah, that. She has strength and guts and Lyra probably actually tells her that she'd rather get experimented on by Miss Sinister than some pig of a man and Claudine just "thhhanks?"
Hulk,,,,funny enough I don't think I have many ideas for him yet? Probably gets into a fair few fights with Shaw and Haven over different stuff, Maddie has a bome to pick for Betty,,,I am,,,blank.
I feel like a lot of things for him would be Haven trying to break through into him, maybe each of the Marauders dealing with different parts of the system? I can imagine Shinobi and Pyro don't have a high opinion of the oversized dad until Bruce turns super ashen pale and immediately Joe starts yelling for some whisky and GIRLS....and a fella or two for matchstick and ghost baby here.
Maddie thinking that he's another Scott and then finding out that Hulk's thing is more complicated than Scott simply looking for Jean again. Also Maddie demands that she will forcefully adopt Hulk's kids and these two bonding over abusive dads???
But uh,,,that's about it!! Hope you liked it!!! I probably could easily delve into more thoughts if there's anything specific for me to set my mind on.

How Hulk Sequels could have fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Part 1
“A stand-alone Hulk movie will never happen because Universal has the rights to the Hulk and for some reason, they don’t know how to play well with Marvel" - Mark Ruffalo on why the Incredible Hulk will not get an stand alone sequel.
Movie rights are a messy business... One company owning a character can mess up or hinder plans for another company. The rights to the Character, in this case "The Hulk", is no different. Marvel can use the character in future Avenger movies or any other Marvel movie they see fit. This is why we can see him cameo in  Thor: Ragnarok and the upcoming Avengers movies as The Hulk story arc but we haven't seen a sequel to the the Phase 1 Hulk movie that came out alongside Iron Man back in 2008.
If it were to happen here is my Idea of how Marvel could have done the sequel
The Incredible Hulk: 2
The movie takes place during phase two a few months after Ironman 3  and it will adopt the Fall of the Hulk's storyline . The movie focuses more on Banner than the Hulk and takes place in Los Angeles, California, then moves on to a remote town in Arizona.
It will have introduce Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) and then reintroduce Amadeus Cho, Leonard Samson, Betty Ross and her father.  The villain's of the sequel will be The Leader  and the U-Foes as his henchmen and by now The Leader would have somehow escaped Shield custody and flee to a small town in Arizona where he would be conducting experiments on the residents. His goal  is to lead a army of Hulks just like the comics.
In the movie  Betty would contact Bruce about the Leader's location and so that Hulk can confront the leader without anybody being in danger. Jennifer also tags along as well. It turns out to be a trap as Leader uses Betty to trap Bruce and somehow de-powers him. Samson is in the area visiting family and Cho is in town because of a field trip. Leader sets off his experiment that affects nearly the whole town not hitting Cho since he was in the outskirts but here it would introduce Samson to his powers and transform Betty into Harpy. It would also introduce the U-Foes as the whole town is now full of Hulks for the Leader to use and Bruce is imprisoned and defeated...Or so it seems...
The next half of the movie will have Samson and Cho saving Bruce and cooking up a plan on how to get Bruce his powers back and save the town. As the Leader prepares his Hulks, he let the U-Foes know that this was only the blueprint and that he is going to affect more cities with the machine he created to transform people and states. Leader boasts that not even the Avengers can stop him. Meanwhile Bruce finds out that if he reverses the effects of the gamma wave that turned the people into Hulks, it will also give him his powers back.
Bruce agrees and the final battle ensues as Bruce, Cho and Samson race to the Leader's location...As they sneak past the Hulks only to be met with Harpy. An angered Bruce musters up a bit of strength to transform and he does but only manages to transform into the weaker incarnation of Gray Hulk. Harpy flies past every one only to pick up Jennifer and take her to the Leader base.
Samson tells Bruce to get into the building while he holds off the Hulks and Cho follows. The climax of the movie is that the Hulk is at full strength without the machine.  Samson injects Betty with a serum that was intended for Hulk and it turns her back to normal for a few seconds, but as she gets  angry she turns into Red She-Hulk...All three fight the U-Foes as Cho is reversing the effects on the machine.
S.H.I.E.L.D. finds out what's going on and heads to Arizona, The Hulk bursts through the doors as he faces the Leader one on one.  The Leader lets Hulk know that even though the machine is destroyed and the people are back to normal, he has a gamma bomb that has been absorbing gamma radiation from all the Hulks including Banner and the longer Bruce stays the Hulk, the more powerful the gamma bomb becomes. This forces The Hulk to transform back into Bruce which leads him into a battle of wits with  the Leader. The fight ends with a punch to the face by Bruce.
Banner goes to the cell where Jennifer is severely injured and needs blood, however Cho calls Bruce to let him know that S.H.I.E.L.D  is coming,. The heroes don't not enough time to escape and save Jennifer. Bruce he gives her a blood transfusion because of the healing properties within his blood.  The movie ends with The Leader in custody and Thaddeus eyeing Bruce; Bruce breaks up with Betty as her powers leave her,  saying he is "too dangerous to be around"  He turns into The Hulk and leaps away at the anguish of losing Betty again. The post credit scene will show Walters at home feeling the effects of the blood transfusion as she slowly turns green!"
Welp! That's how I see the sequel...  Up next will be about how I think they can make the Incredible Hulk 3 - Planet Hulk (it takes place after Age of Ultron movie and it will focus more on the villain - Red King. His love interest is  Caiera the Oldstrong, setting is Sakarr and leads into Thor Ragnarok...)

Mattie and Skaar for the meme please! Sorry I didn’t see it 😅
@awkward-snake-girl
Pairing meme
How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met? Well considering they're dating,,,ajsjs They definitely think so much more of each other after having time to get to know each other as well as the closer points of dating. I think Mattie has had a chance to see that Skaar is a lot more gentle and smarter than most people would assume and Skaar's really come to see Mattie as someone who's so much stronger and more durable in terms of emotions. Also. So ready to throw down.
What do their friends/family think of their relationship? The Smashers definitely love Mattie! Especially since they've known her before the relationship and thus already have their own shares of what Mattie is like to them. On her side of the family, I do think Mattie's grandmother would like Skaar a lot with how much he values trying for family. I guess Lana is crying over him but u know. Join Brian and Red King's club.
How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other? I think in terms of character, Skaar and Mattie ARE quite different in the fact that Skaar is very bold and loud with his feelings while Mattie can often repress her feelings due to her anxiety. So I'd say they're quite good for each other when it comes to Mattie being Skaar's sense of tact and sense while Skaar often encourages Mattie to be more open and assuring of her self worth. A lot of this makes a very good team of where you can never really trick or hurt either of them but can make certain situations more difficult if Skaar and Mattie can't agree on a certain way to handle things.
What is their favourite aspect of each other? Skaar really loves how gentle and understanding Mattie can be with him, when it comes to her? He never feels like he's being rushed with feelings or any struggles with words. In comparison, Mattie can always trust and believe in Skaar's compliments as EVERYTHING he says is 100% genuine and meaningful, which really helps build up her self-esteem.
Do either of them have pet peeves about each other? I'd say for Skaar...it DOES frustrate him at times that Mattie is so insecure about herself, more so when she's a gamma mutant too (speaking of, did she ever pick out a name for herself in that form???). This mostly comes from the fact that to Skaar, facts are just FACTS; He says he loves Mattie and that others do too, but doesn't understand why she still thinks that they hate her or why Hulk doesn't want her as soon as his other kids start to arrive into the picture. Skaar really doesn't know HOW he can make Mattie feel more confident and doesn't understand that you simply can't change a person via aggressively yelling that she has sunshine eyes every morning.
As for Mattie, it's probs in a similar manner that Skaar is a very blunt person and doesn't seem to get her insecurities? A LOT of this comes from the fact that Skaar was raised by Native bugs and therefore has never had any place to learn tact, but she still wishes a lot that Skaar could understand a little more about how her past and personal feelings have impacted her a lot growing up.
How would each reconcile with each other after a fight? Skaar will always go and apologise first. He HATES leaving things tense from a fight and it really makes him panic so usually he has an hour or so to work out any frustrations before he goes to say sorry about what he did and get an apology from Mattie if she was the cause of it.
What would be their ideal vacation getaway together? I think a forest for a camping trip! Not always the Savage Land for long trips since that takes more time but I defo think to national forests or near France when they go to visit Mattie's grandmother. In the future verse, they also go to Sakaar in order to hang out with Caiera, Hiro-Kala and their wife, Lirhla.
Think of a new way (AU, different situation, etc.) they could have met for the first time. UHH I think maybe one where they meet after Shadow Base and he has never seen what Mattie looks like before being a gamma mutate, which is very interesting as he clearly doesn't care so I feel like it could be very new for Mattie. Another one is either Mattie coming with the team to visit Sakaar to meet Hulk's family and Oh No his son is a PRINCE and Oh NO he's HOT too.

Okay but like re the talk to a family member meme, you know Haven is just going to be ridiculously compassionate and empathetic with whoever she's speaking too, because no matter how awful they are she can she can see their perspective and pain? And even if they DON'T have any pain and are just EVIL, she feels SORRY for them in that case. AND THEN THERE'S. FABIAN. WHO JUST WANTS TO KNOW IF EVERYONE HERE IS SORRY THEY MADE A BUNCH OF FREAKS.
@thecorteztwins
A hhhh I mean,,
Jen's parents were always good, her dad failed in never helping Bruce but they've always tried to be good people and kind to Haven while telling Fabian to fuck off snnsns
Lyra has a lot of abandonment issues from Thundra ams literally feels no need to call Bruce Father in any way so she would just...ignore it all and actually get mad if Haven tried to address these issues.
Samson's mother was divorced and distant when he was young so he grew up around his father and his work mostly which caused a lot of anger for when he would see his father shamelessly flirt and have affair after affair with women when he was still married. Reacts badly to Haven and idk about Fabian?? Samson wasn't really made weird with his gamma and orange vs green hair ain't that big tbh.
Red's father was low-key abusive but due to the time he grew up in, Red doesn't see it in that light. To him? Its perfectly acceptable that his father made him smoke cigar after cigar until he threw up. He has regrets now over how he treated his mother for her own affair and tbh bye Fabian you're dead and he'd get angry at Haven but if she kept pushing to talk about it then he eventually would.
Samuel was abandoned by his mother but he refuses to accept it (this actually got said in the Avengers academy mobile game btw) and his father was a drunk who was happy to ignore the abuse Sam's brother inflicted on him over the years. He would...flat out deny and ignore anything, as if Fabian and Haven have never said anything at all really. He doesn't deal well with being human.
Skaar doesn't remember anything and he actually has it second best due to the fact that Bruce/Hulk are trying fathers' and Caiera would have been an amazing mother from what I've seen in the "What if?" Issues where she broke the moon and killed Xavier using Black Bolt. He's so soft and yeah Skaar would get angry at Fabian for being mean but Haven is talking with a babey here.
Hulk...oof Brian was so abusive to him and affected him to the point where Bruce didn't even remember murdering him and wasn't able to speak out about the abuse he endured and murder of his mother to the point where that's where a good majority of the 80s-early 2000s comics are based about. God help Fabian if he talked smak and Haven would get SUCH an angsty conversation.
Rick's parents died but his birth mother was actually just crazed and living away from him for years so he hates her and doesn't want anything to do with Jackie. Would get into a childish argument with Fabian over this and he's very reluctant to discuss anything with Haven over the fact that his whole gamma form is formed around the ideal of guilt.
Betty holds some anger towards her mother for dying and leaving her and she doesn't LIKE that anger because she's always so angry about everything now but it's still there. Red is such an up and down for her because he's the reason for so much of her pain but then things started to get better but then she died and he made it worse again. Betty doesn't like talking about feelings unless she has to so Haven wouldn't get much and Fabian?? Muatnt bone marrow doesn't taste that bad.
And then there's Carmilla, Hiro-Kala, Marlo and Daydream, let alone the other personalities but those guys aren't featured on here as much so

Headcanon that all gamma mutants have problems with associating with reality and often get waking hallucinations.
Skaar finds himself screaming in hot fire when his head's underwater and struggles to breathe when the earth shakes and suddenly he's in a hotter planet that's overrun by war and pain and starvation. He struggles to remember that he doesn't have to hide and eat moldy food anymore. He can't help but search for someone when the earth shakes.
Rick flinches if someone yells at him and hears children singing when he plays guitar. He'll look around and even call out their names before remembering how he doesn't live there anymore and panicking at how he thought he was back at the orphanage. Even though he can't feel anything, he swears he can hear the explosion and feel the heat of a bomb going off.
Jen clutches her stomach sometimes and swears that she can feel the sharp pain of being shot. She'll sit down and watch as the room slowly goes black, flashes of green everywhere and watching as her family show up covered in blood. Jen sometimes calls out to them and tries to grab them, as if holding them will stop them from leaving again.
Red holds his breath for hours at a time when everything is suddenly on fire and he's watching his child and wife burn in front of him. He hears gunshots and war dancing in his mind and tries to suffer though it when all he wants to do is flinch when he swears that he can feel the familiar painful break of his spine snapping. He often starts to heat up like this and tries to ignore how he can see everyone dying because he failed them.
Samuel finds himself drowning, watches as his skin and everything solid around him, tear itself apart. He's suddenly being grabbed by everyone he's killed and is being dragged back to hell where Phil waits with a patient smile and a hug of daggers. He's under Phil and screaming as everything shatters onto him, being forced to lie back and drown over and over by blurry, watery shapes as his mother laughs and swims away effortlessly.
Hulk watches as each part of his body starts to bloom flowers, his blood pouring out and covering the earth where a face appears and screams at him for being a monster, for never helping, for ruining everything. He looks mirrors and sees his father smiling back, holding a child version of Banner in one hand and choking his mother in the other. He sees Betty falling to her knees as she dies because of his love, sees Caiera get blown up in front of him because of his love and sees his family all dying and fading to dust because of his love. He sees other versions of himself reach out to grab him, pulling him into their mind where he pays for their sins. He sees knives selling themselves away in his body, a thousand for a thousand lives he ruined.
None of them ever speak about it and pray that no one notices. They see themselves break and everyone around them die yet not a word is spoken because what if it comes true?
