| POLLY'S WARDROBE | S1 | S2 | S3 |

Polly's presentation feels more powerful in this season, where S1 was mostly a few core suits and outits that established her as a stoic voice of reason, now we have more colour introduced, her hair is less controlled, you can feel there's been a change. There's also a lot going on behind the scenes - like the small children's toys Helen bought simply to keep the moment she found out Polly had lost children. The switch back to a suit reminiscent of her ones in S1 the moment Michael is taken feels significant to me, like her defences are being put up again. The reclamation of power in the finale is amplfiied by that outfit, the way it also looks like a wound inflcited on her, one so blatant against the white and yet nobody around her seems to notice. It's poetic.

I haven’t seen anyone make a post like this about Wilbur soot, and I want to, because this specific thing is important to me.

First off, support Shelby, we love and support Shelby here, she’s such a strong and brave person and I’m so fucking glad that she said something and now we all know about this.

I do not support Wilbur soot at all. He’s a piece of shit. I don’t fucking like or support or want to see him. However I love his character

C!wilbur has always been so important to me. And since I haven’t seen anyone else say this, I want to.

Cc Wilbur has no creative liberty over the character anymore, especially since the dream smp has ended.

And in my eyes at least, as long as you aren’t supporting that piece of shit, if you want to enjoy a fictional character, that’s okay.

I’m still going to make fanart and write and I still have headcanons, and I also hate the content creator so much.

I haven't been online for a while due to lack of time, as well some personal issues, but I just want to say that i obviously don't condone all of the abuse William Gold made Shelby endure. I stand with Shelby, and anyone who does otherwise, unfollow me immediately.

In regards to the characters Wilbur and Quackity from dream SMP, I have absolutely no idea what to do about it all. They've felt more like my characters ever since the end of their direct interactions on dsmp anyway, and frankly almost all of the content I've produced of them is significantly more so based off of me and my partner (however "cringe" that sounds), so it's a difficult situation for me. I won't be deleting any of my posts or art. I don't know what I'll be doing with all of the content I've made but haven't posted, which includes a couple chapters of the Losing Face rewrite. I might turn cQ and cWilbur into actual original characters. I've been thinking about doing a complete redesign either way - the only immediate issue I have is the names, as I can't think of anything that'd fit. If I end up figuring it out, I might try to turn the rewrite of Losing Face into an original story, but that's gonna be very difficult, considering the context needed for the story is Dream SMP lore. The fic is also structured around William Gold's song, which I'll have to obviously change too, if I end up doing anything with it.

If any other tnt duo artists have any thoughts regarding how to tastefully handle this, I'd appreciate it, as honestly, I can't say I'm not still hyperfixated, unfortunately.

For now I'll most likely just see how the situation develops, and decide when my personal life is less of a mess. This whole shit show has hit a little too close to home with my current issues too, so I'll be frank, I don't think I'll be posting anything, regardless of whether it's tnt duo or not.

Anyway, stay safe everyone, and let me know what you think about how i could figure this pickle out

Update: as of now I've decided I'll most likely just keep on creating content of the characters which have belonged to the fandom for years now. The situation with my fic is more complicated, since not just the title is named after the song Losing Face, but also each chapter is named after the song's lyrics, and each of those has been carefully fitted to represent the plot of the chapter. I don't think I feel comfortable with that anymore, and I will have to rework the pacing to fit a different song (I haven't yet decided what song exactly).

I can't take back four, almost five, years of finding comfort in him, interacting with that community, and listening to his music (and finding a Hell of a lot of comfort in that), but I can and will support Shelby all the way.

Always support and listen to the victim. Remember this is Shelby's story, not Wilbur's.

Guys I’m sorry but please can we comment and interact with the media we enjoy? And trust me, I know that I need to be better at this too, especially as a writer.

But think about it. If you wore a cute outfit or wrote a new song and you show it to people - does it feel good to have NO ONE respond or react to it? Of course not! Yes, you may be dressing or creating for yourself but part of the fun is hearing what other people think.

And it’s the same with writing! I love writing, it’s why I do it and share my stories on this site, but when I open my notifications and see no sort of “verbal” engagement, it can be really disheartening.

So, I encourage you to challenge yourself to try and comment on as many stories as you can. It can be an emoji, a short message, an anon ask - whatever you’re comfortable with. But if that story made you laugh, cry, or think let the author know. I promise you won’t regret it!

And, look, I don’t mean to come off as ungrateful but I see so many writers become discouraged here, so let’s change the space. And I promise to do better right along side you! Have a lovely day!

Twitter has really rotted how people view serious and complex situations holy shit.

Fuck you mean "lack of awareness". Even before Niki finally made a tweet about it it's. Pretty fucking obvious that she likely was also a victim of his to an extent too. Especially after other people, some of which even weren't as close as Niki and the other 2 mentioned in their second tweet, also spoke up about their past bad experiences with him.

"Need to speak up" yeah they all probably should eventually but I don't think it's that fucking shocking that they haven't immediately said anything? They all knew him beyond his content, either he hide this from them well or manipulated them too. Or a combination.

And depending on how much they already knew or experienced, either this is an extreme shock to them because of how close they were to him or they're realizing that he wasn't just like that to them or that believing something like "oh that's just how he is!" Wasn't a healthy mindset.

Anyways what I'm getting at is there's a whole laundry list of reasons it's not that fucking weird for it to take a while for people who were closer to him to say anything about it.

Also saying "I take back the Niki thing. So glad her and tubbo have spoken up <3" when this is literally Niki's tweet

I have Thoughts about Quinn's treatment in season 3A and the way media often portrays punk subculture

I always hate it when "dressing punk" is somehow a symbol of a character going off the rails and becoming a bad person - as if the character was once a pure, innocent lamb who lost their way and strayed to a life of immorality just because they dyed their hair. Why is the punk makeover never a sign of empowerment? A sign that a character has chosen to go against oppressive social expectations? That they are choosing themselves and their own freedom and bodily autonomy and self-confidence?

Like, most punks and goths I know are genuine, empathetic, and respectful people.

Yes, Quinn was clearly struggling with her mental health and was lost during season 3A. However, I hate the response of everyone around her being "oh my god, you died your hair pink and you're wearing black, I can't fathom anything more disappointing". After everything this girl has gone through and been told, time and time again, that she is a disappointment and "not enough", here she is doing something to give herself a sense of control and belonging and empowerment and being met with yet more puritanical bullshit.

I wish we had had more time with punk!Quinn. And, more than anything, I wish her punk era was seen as, at least in part, positive and empowering.

This is for a Nature Wives fic by the amazing @honorsongs!!! No I didn't base my entire piece around like one line in chapter 5... :D Here's the link to the fic!

The pink lighting was totally not an impulsive decision I made one evening at like 11pm... I don't regret it though, I love both versions :D On this one you can see the bi colour palette better! (The bi colours were kind of accidental, but I just ran with it)

im not gonna post my opinion about this too much but i feel the need to say how proud of shelby i am for being able to come forward with their story.

i watched the vod and my heart goes out to them so much. theyre extremely brave for talking about this. i wish them all the best and i hope that theyre able to heal from this. what happened to them is horrible and i really truly hope that they get the peace they deserve. they seem like an amazing person and no one deserves to be treated like that, its absolutely horrendous.

GUYS can we PLEASE talk about how limited both Shubble’s and Lauren’s powers are?? Like, I know Shubble seems really powerful and stuff, but like, lets think about it. Her powers only work when she’s outside, on the ground level, and in the Overworld. Logically, her powers wouldn’t work in the Nether or the End, and we see from her second episode that her powers don’t work underground? Not only that, but there is literally a way for other witches to sort of ‘negate’ her powers? I forget which one of them found it, but there was a spell that had ‘clear storm’ or rain or something like that, which is basically just a way to stop Shubble’s storms? And with Lauren, we see it quite a bit, but not only does she struggle in general to control her powers, it also has to be in an open area? She can’t summon sand from the sky if there’s a roof over her head, or if there’s something blocking it?? And the fact that, after the first dungeon thing, when Lauren used her powers on Joey, it only did half a heart? That means, with enough good armor and weapons, her magic is actually useless against people?? And I have no doubt that of course, the two are going to get more magical abilities and everything, but just with their first/main powers, both are so limited? Yes, Shelby gets strength and regen when she’s in rain, but she can only summon it when she’s outside and on ground level?? And yes, Lauren deals a decent amount of damage against mobs and armor-less witches, but with armor, her magic might as well do nothing?? And she has to make sure that there’s nothing above her blocking it??

I’m just saying guys, we need to talk more about this.
