“Nicky! Where are you?” Larry whined, as he barged into the Wright Anything Agency. Everyone in the office looked up at him.

“Oh! Hey uncle Larry, if you're looking for daddy, he’s out grabbing lunch with uncle Miles. Do you wanna wait here with us?” Trucy asked.

“Aww! Hey Truce! Man, Nicky and Edgey never tell me anything,” he huffed, flopping down on the couch beside his niece. He was either ignoring, or didn’t notice, the stares from the rest of the office.

“Um, hello?” Apollo asked, “Who are you?”

“What?! You don’t know who I am?” Everyone shook their heads. “I am the great artist Laurice Deuxnim, Nick and Edgey’s best friend since grade school!”

“Oh!” Athena yelled, “I think I’ve seen some of your books. Wait, how do you get Larry from Laurice Deuxnim?”

“How does one get Nick from Phoenix Wright?”  Simon asked, flipping through a case file.

“Herr samurai does have a point.”

“Oh! That’s because his real name is Larry butz,” everyone sent Trucy a curious look. “What? Not like some of your names are very normal. I mean Mr. Gavin’s name is literally piano.” Apollo and Simon both started snickering.

“Hey I have a great name!”Larry whined.

“So, Mr. Butz,” Athena said, setting down her case files.

“Call me Laurice!”

“Alright Laurice, if you’ve know Mr. Wright and Mr. Edgeworth for so long, you have to have some good stories!”

“Athena lets not.”

“Oh come on! You have to have some questions,” Athena whined. “What about you two?” She turned to Simon and Klavier.

“I do have one,” Klavier said. “What’s with the samurai keychain herr Edgeworth always keeps with him?”

“Actually, I’ve been wondering that too. Mr. Wright has a blue one, but he won’t tell me where he got it, and he gets fidgety when we ask,” Apollo said, curiosity getting the better of him.

“Oh like this one?” Larry asked, pulling out his signal samurai keychain. “It was a set I won back in elementary school! It’s the signal samurai, Nicky and I got Edgey into it back then.”

“Edgeworth-dono? Watched a children’s samurai show?”

“What, I’m sure he wasn’t always so uptight,” Trucy laughed.

“Oh no, Edgey was always like this! Always going on about being a defense attorney like his father. He always wore a little bow tie and stuff.”

“Heh, that sounds like herr Edgeworth,” Klavier laughed. By now, everyone had set down their work and was listening. “Any other stories herr Butz?”

“Ooh! Wait I can do you one better,” he pulled out his phone. “I have a picture of us doing the signal samurai pose!”

“What?!”

“No way uncle Miles would do something like that,” Trucy said. As Larry scrolled through his phone, the door opened.

“What’s going on?” Edgeworth asked, as him and Wright stepped inside with two paper bags. “Larry what are you doing here?”

“Edgey! Nicky!” Larry yelled, dropping his phone and forgetting about the picture. “We were just talking about you two.”

“What were you telling them exactly?” Wright asked wearily.

“Can you guys do the signal samurai pose?!” Trucy yelled.

“Larry…” Edgeworth almost growled. “What did you say?”

“Nothing! They were just asking about the keychains.”

“He was going to show us a picture of the pose!” Athena yelled.

“Oh, then I see no harm,” Wright said, “Although I’m a little out of practise. Come on, there’s space over here.” Wright dragged Edgeworth to a clear area.

“Wright,” he hissed, “don’t humor him!”

“Oh come on Edgey!” He joined them, “ ready?” Edgeworth just huffed and looked away, standing straight with his arms crossed. Larry cupped his hand around his eyes, “Sense the enemies I do. So be careful, will you?” Everyone started laughing, even Edgeworth cracked a grin. “Signal Yellow!” He struck the signal yellow pose.

“Kick enemies to the curb, and sally forth!” Wright extended his hand, and Trucy burst out into a fit of giggle. Edgeworth’s shoulders relaxed. “Signal blue!” He struck the signal blue pose.

“Come on uncle Miles!”

“Ja herr Edgeworth, don’t leave your friends waiting!”

“Fine, but this never leaves this room!” He glared, before taking a deep breath as his face turned red. “You’re facing me, and I shall stop thee.” He went through the motions, although a little choppy. “Signal red.” He posed. Everyone began to snicker, before bursting into full on laughter.

“Hey! You asked for it,” Wright laughed.

“Again!” Trucy yelled.

yk what i need to see and talk about more? the original trio. the signal samurai boys. the only guys ever. phoenix miles and larry. like yeah sure okay capcom ruined larry's character by making him creepy but capcom ruined every other character in the game so it really doesn't matter. what matters is they know each other. that bond phoenix and miles have? that deep understanding of each other's true nature that made phoenix "save" edgeworth in the first place (well he didn't do all the work but you get the point), that faith and trust they have? yeah that was born in that friendship, and larry has that understanding of them too, i bet. actually, larry is the one who probably has the most knowledge about phoenix, larry has been there all along. so what i need to see is larry and edgeworth both pulling phoenix out of whatever state he is in during the disbarment and knowing exactly what he is and how hard it is for him and how much of an act he is putting on. what i need to see is them later helping him remember what it's like to be himself. what i need to see is phoenix and larry poking fun at edgeworth when he starts talking all fancy because they all know that's not in his real vocabulary. what i need to see is larry being a third wheel but also making fun of phoenix and miles because of it. someone give these three middle aged men the childlike joy of a sleepover. can they just please have that please

Hypothetical MCU show: “Shang-Chi and the Hawkeyes”

PLOT SUMMARY:

A few months after the events of “Hawkeye”, Kate Bishop has been living on the Barton family farm in order to finish training with Clint Barton. Despite a rough adjustment period due to city girl Kate moving into a farm, the training has been going well. Kate is ready to start her superhero career, but Clint is hesitant, especially since he’s started viewing her as his daughter figure. Since the two Hawkeyes have been doing nothing but training, the Bartons decide to take everyone on a vacation to San Francisco.

Around the same time, Shang-Chi has been working with Wong to figure out what the origins of the Ten Rings are. From what they found, they learn that Wenwu stole the rings from the mystical lost city K’un L’un, home of the Iron Fist. Shang-Chi learns this the hard way when he’s confronted by the current Iron Fist, Colleen Wing, who wants the rings back (this would be the first major fight scene of the show).

Shang-Chi and Colleen’s fight is interrupted by a group of mercenaries who are also after the rings. The mercenaries are being led by the main villain Kenuichio Harada (also known as Silver Samurai), the most powerful crime boss in all of Japan and Wenwu’s most hated rival. This leads to a massive chase scene, which ends with Shang-Chi running into the Bartons.

So, unfortunately for Clint and Kate, they’re forced into the fight now that they’ve gotten involved with Shang-Chi. But we’re also hit with a twist; Silver Samurai, upon learning that Clint Barton is helping Shang-Chi, puts all his resources into play to stop our heroes. This is because Clint killed Harada’s twin brother Akihiko, the same Yakuza boss from “Endgame”.

Thus, we have multiple arcs for our heroes to deal with:

1) Shang-Chi trying to make peace with Colleen Wing, as well as trying to prevent the Silver Samurai from stealing the ten rings

3) Clint Barton being forced to deal with his Ronin past once again since his killing of Akihiko has come back to haunt him

4) Kate Bishop on her first rodeo as the newly minted Hawkeye, as well as facing off against super-powered people for the first time

5) While all this is happening, the Barton family and Katy Chen find themselves being targeted due to their ties to Shang-Chi, Clint, and Kate

CAST:

Of course, we have our returning characters Clint Barton, Kate Bishop, and Xu Shang-Chi.

Laura Barton and the Barton kids will likely have more prominent roles in this series, especially since they’ll be paired up with Katy Chen.

Wong comes back as a guest character.

Since Akihiko is Kenuichio’s twin, Hiroyuki Sanada is brought back to play Silver Samurai.

Jessica Henwick reprises her role as Colleen Wing.

Tony Leung briefly reprises his role as Wenwu, specifically to show how Wenwu stole the ten rings from K’un L’un.

MISCELLANEOUS:

1) The season’s story can be split like this: Group A is Clint, Kate, and Shang-Chi / Group B is the Barton family and Katy / Group C is Colleen Wing on her own / Silver Samurai is the main threat to all three groups.

2) I pictured the main trio’s dynamic to be that Clint relates to Shang-Chi due to them being men who are trying to escape their past. Shang-Chi and Kate get along as newbie heroes. Maybe this isn’t a perfect comparison, but think of them as Batman, Batgirl, and one of the Robins.

3) Show ends with Clint giving his blessing to Kate to join the Avengers, as well as inviting Shang-Chi to join. Clint ponders retirement, but then says something about how being in San Francisco has made him consider moving out to the West Coast (obviously a nod to a potential West Coast Avengers team).

4) Colleen and Shang-Chi make peace at the end and it’s implied that Colleen will continue to appear in the Shang-Chi movies. It’s also implied she knows the secret behind the rings (the signal that it sent out at the end of the first Shang-Chi movie).

“Hey pal, what game is this?” Gumshoe asked, as Larry connected the laptop to the tv.

“I do not understand why we all have to play together,” Edgeworth sighed.

“Oh come on Edgey,” Larry whined. “It’s really easy! It’s not even that scary, I promise.”

“Why don’t you wanna play Edgeworth, you scared?” Phoenix snickered.

“W-wh-ha-a,” Edgeworth sputtered, and everyone else laughed, “I am not scared! There are simply better things I could be doing with my time.”

“Oh come one pal! Everyone needs a break.”

“While that is true, I believe most people in this room could work a little harder,” he glared. Wright laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.

“Come on Edgey! Give Gummy a break.” Larry joined the other three on the couch.

“Believe it or not, I was not talking about detective Gumshoe. When it comes to work, detective Gumshoe does excellent work at crime scenes.”

“Pal!” Detective Gumshoe wailed, leaning over Wright to try and hug him.

“No! Stay away, let’s just get on with the game!” He yelled, backing into Larry.

“Okay! Who wants to try first?” Larry asked, picking up the laptop.

“I’ll give it a go, what do I do?” Wright asked, and Larry handed him the laptop.

“Don’t worry, it’ll tell ya!” Larry said, as Phoenix his night one.

“Night one? How many nights are there pal?” 

“I think five, but there’s a bunch of games so we can play more after!” Larry laughed.

“Please, I intend to-”

“AH!” Phoenix yelled, and everyone turned to the tv. “Heh, sorry. I died, Edgeworth, wanna try?”

“I don’t see why not, what are the controls?” Wright gave him a quick run down, before he started. This time, everyone watched. “ I do not see why this game is so scar-”

“Close the door! Close the door! That’s how I died last time,” Wright yelled.

“Gee pal, you seem really scared.”

“Well you would be too if you got jumped by a giant animatronic chicken, Chika is horrifying,” he shuddered.

“Oh come on, it can’t be that bad.”

No sooner had Larry said that, were they attacked by Bonnie. Everyone screamed, as Wright started laughing saying he told them so. This earned him a smack from Edgeworth, and a whine from Larry. And it only got worse with each game, because as much as Edgeworth kept saying he would leave, he was having fun. Although no one slept that night.

Pixal was hot on their heels, the duo met their optics

Showed up in text in her view, smirking legs swung over so her back was to his as E drove between cars as she grabbed the blaster from his holster whipping around she fired

Pixal didn't even have the Nano second to react as a ball of electricity hit the Mech square on, she herself freezing forced into shutdown,

The chameleon grinned as their newest weapon found its mark the Mech falling they only winced when they heard the sound of metal crunching as it met the ground below the highway, swinging back around they rested their head on Es shoulder tapping in morse code on their neck

"VXL is down,"

A text instantly appeared,

Good though, we may have to watch out. The Ice Ninja will be pissy for a bit.

They laughed, she could picture Es smirk tapping back

"Then we will show him our newest tech."

Zane had received the Mayday signal from not only the Mech but Pixal, throwing down his apron racing from the kitchen, poor Jay nearly being knocked down,

"Hey watch it!" Came the indignate shout

"DISTRESS SIGNAL PIXAL!" He shouted already about to the end of the hallway Cole met him in the living room along with Lloyd all three heading for the X cave and their respective Vehicles.

E finally pulled off on an exit lazily driving down stopping at a bar. Chloe finally dropping her appearance stretching, metalic joints popping, saying

"I expect an angry call from Dad soon"

Tapping the side of his helmet to allow his face to be shown and the facade to be dropped so they could blend, Echo drew her back into his lap

"You were excellent my dear. Not your fault your sister was lacking against such a sharpshoot"

She snorted as he snatched a kiss from her,

"Same creator, she should know what she can do so can I."

A crowd had gathered around the downed Mech, police surrounding it when the trio arrived

"Pixal!" Zane practically lept from his car racing towards the pile of metal
