Finally, had the chance to visit and check out the food scene in Bacolod and Can I just share how delicious their food is. Every sip and bite takes me back home to my mother's warm hug and my father's jolly smile. Sharyn's Cansi, you had me wanting for more soup. The Inasal from Aida's is so juicy and flavorful, I'd probably eat it everyday of I have the chance. The cakes from Calea –sinful.

Easily identifyable physical differences.

Normal Arfri (Silay, left): Orange eyes, Black circles around eyes, Halo, No additional markings

Corrupt Arfri (Toliki, right): Yellow eyes, Purple cirles around eyes,No Halo, Additional Purple markings

A huge thanks to you for asking, because a final piece of the lore jigsaw puzzle got put in while I was thinking of the right phrasing for this.

Arfri grow up in what is basically a commune/cult where the end goal is to get to a sort of "heaven", and it comes naturally to them to follow rules and feel safe inside the rules. One who questions the rules or doesn't like the society becomes corrupt, seen in a first streak of purple in their hair. After that, they get cast out of the group and never seen again. Most Arfri hate the colour purple and avoid it as superstition.

The actual corrupted one gets to see what happens behind the scenes. That there is a designated Arfri who sits in a spring and single-handedly powers the barrier to stop bad monsters coming in to the village. When the barrier Arfri gets near death, either from old age or not being strong enough, someone new starts to show signs of corruption and beomes the barrier keeper. It's supposedly a great and thankless task and protects everyone for generations.

Except, Toliki didn't want to and managed to run away, and just wandered until ... well, until the time the comic starts, and then he goes through those events. I don't want to give TOO much away but I think I answered the question?? xD
