(@sage-olivia-bellerose) Sage had once again managed to break in during Lawrence's work hours—it wasn't her first time, and she had no intentions of it being her last.

She quietly shadowed him, too timid to engage in conversation. The courage to speak had eluded her for far too long; her actions had escalated beyond simplicity, harmless curiosity, or plain intrigue. Yet, despite her bold intrusions, she remained too timid and apprehensive to confront him directly.

Occasionally, she'd discreetly rearrange things, hoping to offer assistance once she felt she knew him well enough to help without drawing attention to herself.

But tonight was different. Tonight, she sought solace for herself.

Feeling unwell, her heart and mind teetering on the edge of chaos, she couldn't shake off the weight of past rejections. The memories of people's stares and sudden dismissals haunted her, despite her attempts to simply be her peculiar yet restrained self around new acquaintances.

All she wanted was to find a moment of respite in his bed, to quiet the voices telling her she'd never be enough. And in the midst of her spiraling thoughts, she found herself inadvertently succumbing to sleep—tears staining Lawrence's sheets—a vulnerable moment that left her exposed, a rare occurrence in her otherwise discreet surveillance of him.

Lawrence had been bothered lately. On edge. Uncertain of what was happening, or why his things would be moved, or why the air felt heavier, or this or that, but he could never find the source of his anxiety spikes. Like it was nothing, but also something. Hidden. Creeping.

He's home. He almost doesn't want to be. He sets his things by the door. Tightens all the locks- must be protected. Kicks his shoes off his feet, slips his jacket off his shoulders, going one button at a time as he removes his shirt- tossing it onto the chair nearby. Fingers run through his hair with a deep groan, comfortably, unsuspectingly undoing his low ponytail and massaging his scalp. Lawrence then brings his hands to his pants, turning while pushing dow- Freeze.

He froze. He froze, and not even his thoughts would move. His bed is all sorts of shapes. Weight that is not his own. Somehow, someway, someone had gotten inside despite his best efforts to keep strangers out, and now they are at this standstill. Only one awake, yet both unconscious. He has an advantage he can not yet use due to.. Fear?

Curiosity?

Lawrence forced himself to move. He crept closer, eyeballing the woman in his bed. Why is she here? How long has she been here? She's.. Vulnerable. Exposed. Easy. He could feel his heart pumping and head spinning. He can't control himself. He can't control himself.

In a violent, aggressive reaction, Law slammed his hands down onto the strangers neck and back, pinning her to the mattress. He then tried to find both her wrists to restrain them- avoid the risk before it's a problem at all. He spoke not a word during his efforts. His eyes- full of fear, disdain, and curiosity, said all there was needed to be said.

which only made it worse for him when etho did things for grian and cleo he would never do for him.

bdubs wondering if it meant anything at all to etho, or if it was some big joke. if he and his stupid big heart was some joke to etho. if etho understood that all itd take to get bdubs on his side was the slightest attention that way, dropping the act once he was satisfied with bdubs devotion.

to bdubs, it sure would be looking like he didn't ever matter to etho, only what he could do to keep etho alive did. nothing about his wellbeing or even happiness mattered to etho

bdubs told him he would not kill him, no matter what. even when etho told him he wouldn't blame him if we did. and etho couldn't even bother lying about failing a task for bdubs' sake

its not even that bdubs would care if etho attacked him for a task. if there was anything he could do for etho he'd do it in a heart beat, including losing a few hearts. but the fact that etho didn't even care enough to go 'yeah sure id fail a task for you' after bdubs proclaimed his loyalty

Brother when I tell you that the be nice to bdubs day episode makes me sick after what etho did. Oh my god. Oh my god.

The thing is about etho is that, he doesn't lie to bdubs. I don't think he does, anyway. All that kindness he offered bdubs - well, it was obviously a bit to embarrass him, but it was also all true. He doesn't like to lie to bdubs. He's haunted by the time he promised something (a life) and didn't deliver, to the point where when he did it again (promised to help bdubs with anything he needed, then laughed at his face when bdubs sought out his help) he felt SICK

Etho doesn't like to make promises, because he hates not to deliver on them. Bdubs loves to make promises he wholeheartedly intends to deliver on, or that he hopes the receiving party will know he'll try his heart off to deliver on. Bdubs values, so much, the very act of trying, the intent behind it. Etho values results. It's a dissonance neither can really see. So it leads to miscommunication and misunderstandings

Bdubs has promised so much to etho, so many times - etho must believe the words empty, no matter how earnest bdubs is. Meanwhile, because Etho is so careful about managing expectations, he comes off as... Aloof. As not returning even half of bdubs' earnest feelings. It's such a difference in their expression of love.

Etho felt bad, and thus he pushed himself to express love in a way bdubs would understand - through words of adoration. But then he immediately returned to his old ways. Immediately withdrew, as if scared. Because he is scared. In truth, he's terrified of the feelings he holds for bdubs, and how much it can hurt the both of them. But instead of seeing that, Bdubs can only see it as Etho playing a sick game with him. Bdubs, so starved for Etho's attention and love and devotion.

I doubt he would've promised cleo or grian he would protect them against the boogeys. He's told cleo before, that he's not a protector. He doesn't want to give the impression he is because he hates the idea of betraying that impression. But in the moment, he did become a protector. But it's that seed of doubt that it plants that hurts so much.

Because now, Bdubs will always see etho and remember that he refused to vow his protection to bdubs, whilst turning around and protecting his allies. He'll always see etho and remember that heartbreak.

He feels like he's been throwing so, so much love to a complete brick wall. Somethings gotta snap.

I want bdubs to either kill etho or try to hurt him - to genuinely go after him. But also if he does - if either of them do - I'll have a category 10 ethubs meltdown I s2g

This can only end in tragedy I swear I swear I swear I feel so SICK it's late and my head hurts so this probably makes no sense but. My god

Aaaaaaa I hope one day I’ll have the mental capacity to write that long Martha fic in my head where post s3, she gets scooped up by UNIT so quickly, falls into bad habits including a terrible relationship with alcohol that sneaks up on her because “it’s just one drink because I need it to sleep”, jumps headfirst into the relationship with Tom that is just stagnant, because both of them are just clinging to a past where they trauma bonded, only Tom can’t handle being in London because it’s too much, and runs away via Doctors Without Borders, and Martha pretends she’s ok with it, because of course she is, she’s the woman who walked the earth, how can she not be ok with it, and she clings to her family but at the same time is absolutely suffocated by still being the only one keeping them together, because their issues have only been exacerbated, and she misses the Doctor, she misses him more than anything, but he was so toxic, and she knows that, and in the middle of the night she wishes she had just died permanently that year because surely it would have been easier than what she’s feeling now, and she doesn’t need anyone but she wants someone, and my god is she never letting anyone in that can hurt her the way that the Doctor has,,,,,,,and finally, FINALLY, she falls apart and learns that she is allowed to grieve, that she’s allowed to ask for help, and she is worth it!!!

under the rain (gender neutral reader!)

sometimes you just want to go under the rain and have fun, relieving your childhood memories. and you want to show how fun the most simplest things are

"ah, the weather looks gloomy today." you commented as you walked beside the heartslabyul dorm leader who is doing his normal rounds to make sure the dorm residents does not break too much.

he looked up at the sky and nodded, face turning as sad as the said climate.

"yes, sadly we couldn't hold our small tea party as planned. i didn't expect that we would get a rain check."

the second year was really looking forward spending time with you because recently the two of you haven't seen each other after the incident with savannaclaw.

"what's with the frown? did you miss spending time with me? ahihi i'm flattered riddle~"

"care to repeat that again?" you just hummed and skipped ahead the dorm leader leaving him flustered.

it's not like riddle missed you and your company okay? he just want to check up on you that's all! his eyes watch as the ramshackle tie on your arm followed the direction of the wind making an airy laugh escape your lips as you fix the cloth.

"hey don't go flying away now- riddle hurry up!" before the lad could say another word, small droplets of water start to appear and it slowly became big droplets of water pouring down on the two of you.

the first instinct for people whenever rain started pouring down would be going to the nearest shed or somewhere you can be safe from being wet and that is what riddle did.

what shocked him is that you just stayed under the pouring rain with a big smile on your face. "(name) what are you doing you will get sick!"

instead of going over riddle to dry off, you just waved over the dorm leader and let out a loud cheer. "i feel so refreshed though, it's been a while since i had fun under the rain!"

"a while?"

"yeah! why don't you try, it's a really fun experience!" you skipped towards him and gently pulled him towards the open area where the two of you immediately got drenched. he watch as it seem you really didn't mind.

"... so where is the fun part?"

"just wait and see."

in amidst of the new experience, your arms slowly swaying riddle's that leads to two students doing different kinds of dance styles under the rain - from waltz to simply catching each other in their arms.

minutes later, your eyes lighten up when for the first time ever you get to see his childlike side. eyes shining with curiosity, lips curling up into a smile and the way he just hold your hand in a gentle yet firm grip - you would give everything in the world just to see him have fun like this.

"isn't it great? once in a while, it's okay to have fun in different ways."

"maybe you are right, thank you for this (name)." as the two of you exchange laughs and smiles, familiar voices from the distance could be heard.

"hey is that the prefect and riddle?"

"there you are henchman, i've been looking for you everywhere!"

"why are you two having fun without us!"

"it's not good to be soaked in rain water guys or you will get sick later on!"

"come on trey lighten up, this just happen once in a while. let them have fun~" the vice dorm leader looked at his kouhais and chuckle before leaning on the wall while cater started taking a picture of the smiling riddle.

"maybe it's ok to let them have fun for a while."

both of you didn't get to attend classes the next day but they keep each other in company through text and with you sending cat memes that looked like riddle

I am feeling nostalgia for a decade I never experienced. I am feeling a LOT. The descriptions are to die for!

I love it. So much. Oh my god. Poor Sun. Poor Moon. The tension in the scene with Moon? I was so stressed lmao and I was so endeared to Sun, the genuine sadness I felt for the "betrayal". I am even more hooked on this fic than the reader on that rebar because I am not letting go. Girly idk how I wasn't following you still, tumblr isn't stupid, I'm sorry that you are feeling on the outskirts of the fandom as well. You are a wonderful person and writer, and I'm glad you’ve been growing as you have been. You deserve so much more love!! 💕

It does make me feel like there is something wrong with me or like in off putting when i see several big blogs talking to each other, boosting each other. But then I drop in, just say hi to be friendly, only to be ignored. When they are literally responding to various anons or other people.

It seems like they want to talk to everyone else but me. Which has me feeling like I'm in the wrong, I'm bothersome and unwanted in the fandom space. They don't have to talk to me, but my feelings are still gonna be hurt at being shunned by 90% of the blogs I try to interact with.

It does kill my motivation since I don't want to be seen as someone who just posts. I want to be seen as a friend and someone to talk to.

I understand that some people get along better than others. But damn so many people are having this problem it seems like. It's boiling down to popular blogs like other popular blogs, boost other popular blogs and they stay the main people in the fandom eyes whole everyone sits quietly in the side just wanting to be partly including

i get ur first point!! it sucks rlly. especially when you are the first one reaching out (which takes a lot of courage, especially for someone socially awkward like me lol) and then it hurts DOUBLE because you get ignored. i get ittttt rlly. for me, i always try to reply ppl even if im a bit late because im either thinking of a proper response or am distracted or busy , but i never intentionally ignore anyone interacting with me. i know some ppl on here do bcs they don’t feel entitled to respond to comments or anons or whatev, which is like ? ok. but if it’s someone just being friendly and complimenting you / your work … it’s not hard to reply w a form of gratitude . some rlly think they’re celebrities on here and it needs to stop

and it’s understandable and totally valid to feel like you’re being shunned and unwanted by people you just want to befriend , only for them to ignore you / not interact with you but with everyone else :/ it sucks and ppl don’t seem to realise that it could hurt other’s feelings. i hope you know that you’re not unwanted tho! those people are just… idk, a bit weird (ofc im only talking abt people who INTENTIONALLY ignore others)

findjng a friend on tumblr with the same interest is like a chore. you either click instantly or you think you do, only for it to be fore 2 interactions max and then you go back to ignoring each other basically on dash

it’s actually tiring. ofc, me having 3k followers — i am suuuuper grateful, not complaining much, but i also know how it feels. my notifications are super dry except for mainly likes, my dms are like a desert, inbox is 98% only of anons who drop requests and then leave without leaving anything else. no one to talk to, except for people who leave a comment every once in a while :/

like u may think bcs i have decent following i actually gain more interactions? not rlly. only likes & sometimes reblogs w tags. that’s all really, i don’t really have anyone on here who i consider a close online friend (as much as this sounds sad & cringy LMAOO) but its tiring to see everyone be so close to each other on dash while im on the side like ‘how nice it must be to get that much interaction’

& im sure there are people who r gonna say ‘just interact with them’ I DO and i either get left on read or they respond dryly / or i don’t get the same energy back. bcs sometimes im reluctant to reach out first because it always ends up w me taking the initiative & i end up looking desperate to get an interaction with a mutual LOL
