Robin and Grima co-shared a dream last night about living in the slums with chrom somewhere (modern) and getting him framed/investigated for theft and murder...? Grima did an extremely sloppy job covering our tracks though so we ended up being nearly captured by the authorities as well. We look noticeably different depending on who's in charge and I managed to be in charge any time the authorities were around (to try and solve the entire situation) and they kept thinking that either I was chrom's kid or that he *kidnapped* me so that was annoying. Grima kept wrestling control from me and making my life difficult though

#we kept going to this HUGE labrynthian building that was part care centre part infirmary? #i think lissa and emmeryn were there? #but eventually we got caught bc we werent supposed to be there so we had to bolt #so that was exciting #dream log #tactician talks

#staying in a hotel with my grandma tonight cause shes gotta be at the airport for 5 AM #and its over an hour drive to home and we were going to be in the city today already #and so we had a lot of time to kill here in the hotel and i cant even remember how we got on the topic #but ultimately i wound up coming out to grandma tonight #which I've been meaning to do for months #i was kicking myself for not doing it before grandpa passed #but she agreed that he would've loved me either way and probably had some suspicion anyways lol #kee speaks #in other news I had probably the cheapest day at the stampede without even meaning to #i paid $25 for parking (OUCH) but entry to the park was free until 2 #which we were well before so I didn't pay to be there (makes me feel a touch better about parking) #and then grandma bought me lunch #and mom bought me a lemonade #i bought myself a mug and a magnet and that was the only transaction i did on site #and then supper was a business expense and the hotel is paid for by moms points #this is quite possibly the cheapest trip I've ever had to the city in a long time #which is good because I didn't budget anything for it and have no spare finances right now lol #and I don't get paid till the end of the week #i didn't even know there were times to get into the stampede where it's free #so that was exciting

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.

I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere. #Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios. #The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*. #This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those. #Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human. #Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her. #She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist. #The damsel was the dragon all along! #...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.
