The student, Sophia Rosing, 22, was arrested in a dormitory on campus just before 4am for public intoxication, assault, disorderly conduct and assault by a police officer, according to information on the online booking. A judge set her bail at $ 10,000. Rosing, who is white, fell into the university's Boyd Hall while she was drunk, according to the student who worked at the dormitory reception. In disturbing videos posted on social media, Rosing refused her help and instead attempted to punch and attack Spring as she repeatedly called her the N word. "Could you please stop?" Spring asked Rosing after she tried to attack her, video programs. "No," Rosing replied. "You are an n - r and you are a b-h." "Oh my god, I don't get paid enough for this," Spring replied calmly. "I have everything on video," said another voiceover.

Spring and another student tried to seat Rosing, but she punched them and kicked Spring instead. According to further footage, she then tried to push a cart towards them. Spring said Rosing repeatedly punched her, kicked her in the stomach and bit her arm as she ordered her to do her chores. "The girl says things like 'Do my chores',' It's not my fault you're black, '' It's not my fault you're ugly, 'and then she likes to sing the N word,' Spring said. The police eventually showed up and handcuffed Rosing, but even that didn't stop her racist tirade. When an officer put his hands behind her back and handcuffed her, she repeated her N word on a chanting tune. "Hey, you know what? You're going to jail," said the officer in arresting the unsympathetic student, who refused to mention her name. Spring said Rosing even kicked and bit a police officer, which led to her attacking an officer. The University of Kentucky condemned the attack in a statement Sunday morning. "A disturbing incident was filmed in a dormitory this morning," the university said. "The video is deeply offensive and we take it very seriously." The school said its Student Conduct Office is conducting an immediate review and that its Student Success Teams have reached out to victims to offer support. "The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority and we will not tolerate behavior that threatens them," said the University of Kentucky. UK President Eli Capiluto also sent a message to the academic community saying there would be a full investigation. Spring said more needs to be done to ensure students do not face racist attacks on campus in the future. "The problem here is that it happens too often on college campuses that things can't be done, and we get these emails and things about how condone it, but it always happens." ", she said."
