Achoo! I’m Spiderman.

TASM!Peter Parker x Reader (or any version of Peter works too, but Andrew's Peter was the one I had in mind while writing)

BG: The weather is freezing cold, you tell Peter to skip patrol tonight since everyone would be inside and don't want him to get sick. But of course he still goes-promising to be back early. You can guess what happens.

A/N: 1st fic of 2022, out of a 7 month writing slump.

As I finish the 2nd half , it’s currently 8℃ . Finally got some real winter cold where I live after years of mild winter. But this doesn’t change the fact that all I want to do in this cold is huddle in a blanket.

My first TASM fic! Wanted to test it out if we there’s gonna be traction

“Do you really have to patrol tonight?” You can feel the gush of the cold wind enter your room, the news forecasted there to be a blizzard to fall over New York overnight.

“You know I have to y/n” Reason Peter, already halfway out, legs dangling over the edge.

“I know, I just don’t want you getting sick. The storm is said to pick up soon, just… keep warm okay.” Tossing him a green beanie. “And get home early, I doubt any sane person would be out in this cold.”

“Are you calling me crazy?” He teased, putting the beanie on top of the spidey mask. Damn does he look cute.

“And now I’m cute.”

“Oh shit, did I just say that out loud?”

“Yepp.” Peter replied, popping the p. “So… am I crazy or am I cute?”

You can’t help but roll your eyes. “You’re crazy and cute. You’re crazy cute Parker, and I want you back by midnight.”

“Back to last name basis I see then.” Peter steadies his grip on the wall and turns to you. “Yes Mammn Y/L/N” Does a soldier salute and kicks back.

You lean out the window and stay there until the silhouette of the amazing friendly neighborhood spiderman fades into the concrete jungle. Shutting the window, cutting off the cold breeze.

The room warms up but it’s not the same without Peter.

You love Peter with all your heart and support him as Spiderman, But even months after officially dating and being let into his secret life, you’re still not used to the worry and tightness in your chest whenever he does his nightly rounds. You doubt you ever will.

The city is calm tonight. Y/n was right, no sane person would dare wander out on the street at this temperature. Peter thought. It was a nice break from the chaos of his patrol. Finally a time where he could admire the city he grew up in. Swinging between skyscrapers- the view of the city lights against the light fall of snow, wind brushing through, quiet with only his web shooters twips with each swing gives Peter a sense of serene.

The only thing remotely close he could compare this moment is as if you were living in a snowglobe.

Peter takes in the moment, letting his subconscious and spidey sense lead him.

HIgh low Twip right HIgh low Twip left high low Twi–AHoo!

Falling. Building Building! Twip! “ Whew! That was close. Achoo!” Is web misses this time and “Opfffhh”

Peter faceplants onto the side of a building. That was embarrassing- good thing no one saw that.

“Ohh I’ll never hear the last of this.” Peter groans, knowing that you would pull the I told you so card on him when he gets back.

Peter is eager to remove the snotty spiderman mask. He checks the narrow alleyway for cameras - it’s clear.

Peter changes out of his suit and into his civilian clothes equipped with the green beanie you had given him earlier. Peter knew that he would need to get some paracetamol to get better. He also knew that if he didn’t get some before heading back home, you would brave the upcoming snow storm just to get him the medicine.

After a couple of blocks, there shine a blue light. A shop was open!

Peter detours to the sweets aisle, grabbing your favorite bar of chocolate that he’ll use as a peace offering. As he loads more miscellaneous snacks into his arms (just in case the chocolate isn’t enough) he hears coins drop on the ground followed by hushed voices.

“Hurry up, old man. Fill it up or I’ll shoot.”

“Don’t please…”

The robber hadn’t noticed Peter was in the far corner of the shop. Because, why would any sane person be out in this cold? Your words rang through Peter’s head.

More pressing matters, is that Peter also hadn’t noticed the robber come in. His spider senses didn’t pick up any danger.

Damn it you stupid flu.

“Who’s there?”

Peter eyes widen, did he just say that out loud? Gosh is he turning into you.

Peter had to think fast, but his brain is all fuzzy. There’s no way he could use the web shooters and not reveal his identity. He had to change, but there just isn’t time.

Gently placing the snacks on the floor, he grabs the mask from his backpack. “This will have to do.” He mutters.

“I know you’re here somewhere…I–” He can feel the robber round the corner.

“ACHOO!” The webs misses.

“Gottcha–what” Twip Twips “—hmm whmmm”

The robber is pinned to the wall with mouth webbed. No snarky remark from Spidey.

Peter simply picks up the snacks and heads to the counter.

“You’re… you’re…Spid” The shop owner is either still shocked at what just went down or because Spiderman is in the shop, Peter isn’t sure.

“Yes, I’m Spiderman.” Peter mumbled. “How much for these and some paracetamol?”

“It’s on the house. You just saved my life.”

“Ummm thanks, sorry about the mess tho.”

Masked Spiderman closes the shop door, but not before he webs cash on the counter.

Peter glances at his phone-11:56pm SHIT.

Mmmmmm. MMMMMMMMM. I love literally most of the things I’ve written but I do have a few fave faves and that’s fine because I’m going to put them all here anyway.

CSL AU and Peter and MJ are in love within seconds and there’s like half a sprinkle of angst TY TO ME.

Did you take any writing risks this year?

Sure! Mainly writing exactly what I wanted. Also threesomes. Hell. Prompts were scary as well because I never know if I’m going to let someone down with what I create when they trusted me with their big brained ideas!

Nope! Just writing what I like when I like :) for a while I was like jess stop writing peter head over heels for mj even when he hates her and now I'm like BUT I LIKE IT.

twilight w @coykoii. easily! like we had such a shitty few months in the fandom and twi was so much fun. like absolutely feral in the planning stage and then both writing like we couldn’t stop and then running to the doc to show each other. still one of my fave fics. 

i also love writing fics w people in mind! so birthday’s or just because i think they’ll like them! so any gift fics are so fun.

love is not a victory march is my fave wip to write 

Biggest disappointment:

it’s 2022 now so I left everything behind so idk man! having a great time now.

Biggest surprise:

collabs! i didn’t think they would happen at all but they’re the most fun and you only have to do half the writing ty!

reasons for why i dislike these ships under the cut.

Superwonder: Their relationship boils down to "We are powerful gods who no can understand de hoomans!" and when it was canon, DC loved showing it in our faces, even in stories that didn't need it. Watch "Justice League: War", "Throne of Atlantis" and "Justice League vs Teen Titans" and you'll see how they force it in at every turn. What's worse is that they're still doing it in the Justice League Action cartoon with either one of them having to remind the audience that they're "totally dating and in love and it's not forced at all! Also fuck Lois and Steve because they are humans that cannot understand us!". DC, it's not that good a pairing. Stop it. Thank goodness for DC Rebirth. Peter Parker x Carlie Cooper: I was gonna put superwonder here too but this won out because Carlie is the definition of bland and their relationship existed solely so Quesada could ship his daughter's self insert OC with spidey. Kirino x Kyousuke Kousaka: They are fully blood-related brother and sister. and this anime portrays them getting together as some great victory of love. Nuff said. Twilight Sparkle x Peter Parker: Oh boy, this will be a long one. This is why I could never like the "spiders and magic" fanfic. While I know full well that the author didn't mean it, it portrays Peter as a shit friend to Mary Jane Watson(who was not awful in the beginning and Peter loved her then as well and she loved him back) who straight up abandons her to be with a horse. Their relationship seems to stem from "they're both nerds so if they met they'd totally get together" which is not different from the reason Quesada said Peter and Carlie would be a good couple. Look, I love crack ships and one of my favorite ships is one. However with the context that Peter Parker left Mary Jane Watson, someone who is an abuse survivor, someone who has dealt with depression, someone who was his FRIEND would leave her without a goodbye, especially after MJ lost her friend Gwen is disturbing in the least. Even more so, Mary Jane and Peter coping through losing Gwen advanced both their relationship and their characterization and that's just ripped away from both of them. I know that the author has stated that he has no hatred towards Mary Jane and didn't mean for it to come off that way but it doesn't stop it from coming off that way. I know a lot of my friends like this ship and they're awesome people and I hope that they don't take this as an insult towards them. Peter Parker x Gwen Stacy: Gwen was not a good girlfriend or a good person. More info here: hayley566.deviantart.com/art/M… NaruSaku: I honestly did ship this at one point along with NaruHina and SasuSaku but after the manga ended and NaruSaku fans seemed to lose their minds and harassed Kishimoto and others, it was soured for me. Sci-Twi x Timber Spruce: ...why? Why does twilight in every world need a love interest in these movies? Spider-Ock x Anna Maria Marconi: Otto is essentially raping both Peter and Anna Maria(and did) and is a lying manipulative monster. This is supposed to be seen as "sweet and heartwarming" because they're both "outcasts" but it's not. It's disgusting. I'm pretty convinced that Otto never truly loved Anna Maria and really just wanted to "own" her. He has shown signs of narcissism in superior spider-man after all and if he truly loved Anna, he wouldn't have slept with her without telling her the truth before hand. SciSet: I honestly don't hate this ship. I just prefer Sunset with Starlight. StarBurst: I used to ship it but slowly it became boring and I preferred Starlight with either Trixie or Sunset. Tempest x Miguel O'Hara: This is very much like why I don't like twilight x spidey. Miguel seems to just forget about Xina, his actual love interest in 2099, and is totally okay with marrying Tempest after TWO MONTHS of dating. It's like Peter David saw the twilight x peter ship and said "hold my beer" because MJ is at least MENTIONED in "spiders and magic". Not much but still. Xina gets no mention in the newest spider-man 2099 series. Why can't spider writers let any of the spider-men just have awesome female friends and ship them with any woman they see?

I did some changes on the Sunset of the Spidey AU

Sunset has short hair because she once faced a some kind of ninja and he ended up cutting her ponytail by mistake, but in the end she kept her hair short because it was easier for her to put on the mask that way.

I wanted to put tattoos on her because honestly, they look really good on her.

She has 3 tattoos in total. The one on her back that is the wings of her demon form, on her neck she has her cutiemark and on her chest has a tiger because it looks cool

🌟 Random fact: At that point Twilight didn't know Sunset had a healing factor, so she was afraid of losing her.
