The thing that really kills me about Logan is that his kids are disappointing and ultimately unfit to be CEO, and it's not just that they're like that because he made them like that, but that they're like that because he wants them to be that way.
For all his talk about them being spoiled or coddled and his rant in the S3 finale that getting cut out of running Waystar is their chance to "be your own man" and build something themselves, he has spent the entire show actively undermining any attempt of theirs to do that. Shiv stays out and works in politics, but as soon as she joins a big campaign that could actually distinguish her from her family, he tells her he wants to make her CEO. He offers to buy Kendall out of his shares, but as soon as Kendall tries to take the offer and cut himself out, he refuses. He says he wants them out of the business and doing their own thing, and then as soon as they start actually doing that and buy Pierce, he tries to get Roman back.
The fact of the matter is that as much as he might claim to want a "real" heir, what he really wants is to never need one and for his children to stay children: incomplete, incapable, and under his thumb.

thinking about Worm World, the worm themed theme park in southern maine.
Worm World's main attraction is The Legend which is a coaster with no speed governor which frequently goes up to 35% faster than design tolerances allow.
It also has another rollercoaster called Alexandria which is the euthanasia coaster but there's 53 beehives next to the track. (Also two mud dauber nests but they aren't supposed to be there and management can't be assed to hire an exterminator). Guests at the park can buy Warlord Honey which is harvested from the beehives at the park and is actually like really good.
Guests at the park can do meet n' greets with beloved Wormies, like Bitch, who always brings dogs (any guests that touch the dogs without permission are beaten and bodily thrown from the park).
Any park guests who are injured or feeling unwell can go to Bonesaw's clinic, which is just, like, a completely normal first aid station, but. why did they call it that? I mean, they have to know that's a bad choice, right? Why does the first aid station have to be themed? it could just be a normal first aid station and nobody would care.
It has a waterpark section that's all themed around Leviathan, with a wave pool, one of those big bucket things (which fills up and is emptied 10x faster than most other ones in the country), and many more attractions. Sometimes has prop dead bodies at the attractions too.
There's a huge walled section on the other side that says SIMURGH LAND, COMING SOON but it's said that since 2002 and nobody's been allowed in and the security team at Worm World is like, weirdly adamant about not letting anyone in, to the point where they even guard the thing during the off-season, and it's really strange. People have tried to use drones to take pictures but the security team always shuts them down and I heard my cousin's friend's wife's sister had a drone and the security team shot it down with a shotgun in the middle of the operating day.

I love the first time Soo-Won supports Lili.
It feels like an overreaction to burst into tears over, essentially, "Go for it," but makes sense when you realize no one takes her seriously.
Her father, Tetora, and even Yona view her as someone in need of protection. They coddle her.
And then here comes Soo-Won, telling her she's capable of making a difference.
That she did make a difference. He acknowledges her strength and believes in her with ease while people closer to her struggle to accept that she's useful.

raph was never any less suited to leadership than leo
raph was never any less suited to leadership than leo
raph was N E V E R any less suited to leadership than leo
idk how many times i can say it before it sinks in that in rise there was never once any point where that was the point being made
if you just like leo’s character better than you like raph’s, that’s fine! if you just like it better when leo is leader, that’s fine! i have no issue!
but we need to stop trying to circle that leadership change back to somehow being about better or worse or ~more cut out for it~ because it sucks to throw the great job raph did through the series under the bus in order to prop up leo’s good qualities.
they’re both great leaders. they both have strong suits and weak suits in the role, they both have growth and development when they’re in that role. they BOTH make on-screen mistakes in that role and aren’t very good at it at first! not getting a more in-depth explanation about it in the movie or series stinks and it’s very interesting to explore, but seriously.

I can still vividly remember when I was in primary school starting year 6 and my school announced that they would now be making dance lessons mandatory for years 6 and up and then when I received my schedule a little while later and saw the letters 'DAN' appear four times throughout the week and immediately decided that it must be short for dance so I complained to my family like "ok I knew they'd be teaching dance this year but this is just excessive" only for one of my older siblings to essentially go "'DAN' is short for Danish you idiot"

a truly terrible idea has latched hold of my gremlin brain which is, buck and tommy do break up so that buck can pursue eddie because either tommy thinks buck is in love with eddie or buck feels like he should be with eddie because everyone else keeps suggesting there's something more there BUT buck/eddie getting together changes their dynamic so much that neither of them are enjoying themselves (and they're worrying about losing what made their friendship so special because of all the changes to the dynamic) AND buck and tommy keep hooking up [air quotes] platonically (with tommy stumbling into inconvenient feelings and pining pathetically for buck while fucking him) while buck struggles to sort out intense feelings toward eddie (which obviously have to be romantic of course) vs. his calm, more settled feelings toward tommy (they're not as intense as his feelings about eddie so they can't possibly be romantic) blah blah long story slightly less long but buck realizes he's been in love with tommy the whole time and was having trouble separating strong but platonic feelings for eddie from his romantic feelings toward tommy and then tommy's like "newsflash asshole i've been in love with you the whole goddamn time"
i'll never write it because it's irredeemably stupid and i value my peace but it IS sitting in my hindbrain tormenting me right now
