Pac’s fingers hurt.
It’s night, and he can hear the quiet rush of air and the soft rustle of grass. Pac sat on his blue armchair, right hand holding a sewing needle while his left held onto the green cloth. A bag of cotton sat on the small table beside him along with colorful cloth. Pac hummed to himself as he pulled the needle through the fabric.
It’s been a while since he has sewn anything that weren’t clothes. The last time he did was back in prison, during the classes they offered as a way to help pass the time and get better at basic life skills. He had sewn a small and wonky creeper plush he’d gifted to Mike, hoping it would cheer him up a bit.
After they escaped, he only sewed clothes.
Now though, he’s sewing something different. He saw Ramón eyeing that sniffer plush when they were at spawn, but once he realized it was not for sale, the dragonlings expression changed. Pac could tell he was trying to hide how disappointed he was, but Pac noticed.
So he decided to sew the plush for Ramón.
He had wanted to give something to Ramón for so long. Pac had seen how he’d been anxious all day, playing with the sleeves of his sweater as he thought about his dad. Fit had decided to sleep the day away, preparing for the transmission the next day. And Ramón was worried.
Pac’s hands are getting tired, and the light of the lamp on the table is starting to irritate his eyes, but he doesn’t stop. He grabs one of the legs he made earlier and sews it onto the body of the sniffer, making sure it stays on and does not fall off.
The Brazilian’s eyes scan over the plush, making sure all the legs are sewed on, and when he sees that everything is okay he smiles. The little sniffer is almost done, he just needs to be stuffed with the cotton and sewed close.
But first, he needs to put the black buttons on for its eyes.
Pac takes the two black buttons from the box and sews them into the sniffer. His vision is a bit blurry, and his hands feel clumsy as he pulls the needle through the plush and sews the buttons. It’s a little messy and wonky, and it makes him feel a bit frustrated, but at least it works.
He looks down at the plush, and smiles. Pac grabs the cotton and starts stuffing the plush, trying to make cotton be spread evenly. Once the sniffer is stuffed, Pac starts to sew it close. He’s exhausted, but damn if he isn’t gonna finish this plush before he goes to sleep.
He finishes the sniffer, and places it on the table, admiring it. The eyes are a bit crooked, and the stitching isn’t very clean, but it works.
A knock comes from the door, causing Pac to jump and sit-up straight. The knocks keep coming, and the Brazilian is quick to stand up, grabbing the plush and placing it inside his chest, hiding it.
He’s quick to walk to the door, and opens it, revealing Ramón.
He’s surprised for a moment, not expecting the kid to be awake at this time, and the two stare at each other for a bit. The kid is wearing his usual yellow sweater and pajama pants. Pac can see his tail slowly swish behind him, and his ears perked up.
And that’s when Pac notices Ramón’s tearful eyes.
“Oh nenê.” He says, leaning down and opening his arms. The kid rushes into them, wrapping his arms around the Brazilian. Pac does the same, holding him tightly. He picks him up and closes the door of his house, starting to pace around the room.
His heart hurts as the kid sniffles against his pajama shirt. Pac starts running his fingers through his hair, shushing him and humming that lullaby he sang to him when he put him to bed a few weeks ago.
“What’s wrong?” Pac asks softly, looking down at the kid.
Ramón pulls away. ‘I had a nightmare and couldn’t sleep.’ He signs with a shaky hand. ‘I’m sorry for waking you up.’
“No– don’t be. Don’t be sorry for that.” He presses a kiss to his forehead, and Ramón hugs him tighter, tail wrapping around the older’s waist. “I was already awake, don’t apologize.”
He continues to pace around the room, still humming the lullaby. He glances at the chest where the sniffer plush is hidden, and his eyes soften.
“I think I have something that’ll cheer you up.” Pac says, and Ramón looks up at him curiously. He places him down on the sofa and walks to the chest, opening it and grabbing the sniffer. He hides it behind his back and turns to Ramón, grinning at him. “Close your eyes and hold out your hands.”
The kid is quick to do what he’s told, and Pac gives him the sniffer. He giggles at Ramón’s shocked chirp. “Open your eyes.”
And when he does, Ramón’s eyes light up.
“Do you like it?” Pac asks. “This is why I was awake when you came– I was sewing this.”
Ramón stares at the plush in shock, before hugging it close to him. It’s almost as big as Ramón himself, but the dragonling can’t seem to care. Eventually, he pulls back and stares at Pac with a tearful look.
‘Obrigado, pai.’ He signs with a shaky hand, tears falling down his face. Pac smiles, and pulls him in for a hug. Ramón wraps his arms around the older, hugging him tightly.
“De nada, filho.” Pac says, kissing the crown of the dragonling’s head. “Te amo.”
When the sun rises, the two are sound asleep, curled up against each other on the blue sofa, with Ramón clutching the plush sniffer against his chest and Pac wrapping his arms around him.

Review for a DID… plushie?
Today I’m doing a very basic and important review on Plushie Dreadful’s Dissociative Identity Disorder Bunny
Tumblr media
Which I bought because isnt it cute! Also I just had to, a bunny with DID? Sounds familiar.. 🤔
Price: $45 USD
Company: Mysterious
You can find the plush for sale >>here<<
~initial thoughts~
I think you and I must be thinking the same: what an absurd thing to buy! A plush based off a trauma disorder? This could be offensive even if its coming from a weird place of stigmatizing disorders
I looked a little into the company though and found that they make a lot of different disorder-based plushies, as well as based on chronic illnesses and queer identities.
There’s also this note on the DID bunny page itself:
IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.
Obviously they go through a lot of widespread effort to have people with personal experience weigh in on their plush designs. Is it going to be suited to every person w a CDD’s tastes? Absolutely not, but I personally think they put a lot of care into it.
Heres some pics of the one I bought:
Tumblr media
Its a fluffy white rabbit plush with wide, white eyes, and a grey bunny appliqué on the forehead. There’s the interlocking circles multiplicity pride symbol on the tummy. The arms are all white with grey paws, and the stubby legs are all white with pink paw pads. In the ears there’s soft fabric with the printed image of three bunnies stacked on top of eachother that are dark grey, reddish pink and white respectively. There’s a tote bag underneath the bunny plush with a design that matches the ears.
(Sorry idk how to do the image description thing help)
I think the plush design conveys the feelings of DID very well, actually. White eyes that could perhaps symbolize dissociating or looking frozen in terror. Black and red together are commonly associated with pain and trauma in art. White might be for the parts untouched by trauma, or healed.
They grey bunny stitched onto the forehead is..
Their Trauma Bunny
Tumblr media
Its a grey rabbit plush thats small and has uneven limbs and ears. There are two red x’s on the tummy, a black x for the mouth, and downturned eyes depicting a pained expression.
Since this trauma bunny is literally stitched to the forehead if the DID bunny, it’s almost as if to say that trauma is a central feature of the DID itself; which I thought was a nice careful touch that could’ve easily been ignored and focused instead on the multiplicity aspect.
There’s obviously a lot of care and attention to detail put into this bunbun and I very much appreciate it
~How the Bun feels~
Texture: the main fur Soft with medium length, dense fur. It feels closer to the stuffed animals I had as a kid, compared to the super-soft and eventually pilly fur you get on buildabears and jellycat bashful bunnies. Only time will tell of course.
The fur on the ears is very soft with short, printed-on designs. I think its close to something like minky fabric, but shorter and thinner
Weight: idk, it doesn’t have any beanies in it so it’s lighter than I thought it would be. The ears don’t have stuffing/very little stuffing in them so they’re pretty weightless and floppy. Something I really like in bunny ears actually.
Ratings for…:
Playing with(moving the joints): 9/10 (the sewing is such that the arms and megs move easily yay!)
Holding the hand/paw of: 6/10 (the paws are a little small for me, the arms a little stubby for holding hands)
Sitting: 10/10 (the ears help it sit up on its own, the legs fold nicely and look very cute)
Standing: 3/10 (doesnt stand up very well)
Holding the ear of: 11/10 (super softie)
Holding like a hamburger: 9/10 (a smidge small but otherwise pleasent)
Snuggles against the chest: 8/10
Squishability: 5/10 (not a squishable but a very even amount of squishy and dense)
Appliqué: 10/10 (very neat stitching, unobtrusive)
Fur shedding: 10/10 (seems like its very stable and theres no shedding)
Here is my DID bunny compared to my medium Jellycat bashful bunny and the tiny version:
Tumblr media
The previously described white DID bunny. There’s a grey small bashful bunny with multicolored flower print in the ears on the left. On the right, there’s a navy blue medium sized bashful bunny. The DID bunny is slightly smaller than the medium bashful bunny
(The blue bunnys name is April Showers, and the grey bunnys name is May Flowers btw)
~ Extra thoughts idk what to do with~
- I don’t know the history of the interlocking circles symbol or if its problematic in any way. I’m assuming its something the community decided on when contributing feedback on the initial design. Thoughts? It seems to have to do with the old DID forums from a time before I knew I had DID, so I’m intrigued by the history
- I don’t personally mind that theres a DID-themed plush out there. Might not be everyone’s cuppa tea but it makes me happy to have a little soft companion for watching movies and reading books with. Its a really neat aspect to my growing DID collection :D
- I’m so fond of the scenecore kinda design for these bunnies. As a kid I desprately wanted a bunny with that gothic lolita, stitched up aesthetic and this is just so cool and special to me now :>
- I’m super sorry if the image descriptions arent great! This is a personal just-for-fun blog so I dont think I can manage something like that for all my reviews, but since this ones very visual I thought I’d try. Just sorry if its not good :( if theres anyone who’s like to rewrite them to actually work I’d be willing to replace my descriptions
- she needs a name! If you have name ideas i would love to hear them. Something DID related perhaps! i might run a poll on this for fun :D
- ps. All this was written mostly by a small part so pls be nice thank u 💛🥰

man, your AK-15 fic was SO adorable 😭 i would like to request something cute for AK-15 and/or AN-94, ANYTHING bc I absolutely love and need to spoil them
(GFL) AK-15 and AN-94's S/O making a plushie of them
Thanks for the kind words! And I completely agree, I would forfeit my left kidney to make those two smile.
Tumblr media
15 stares at the lovingly recreated plushie of herself.
It came complete with stitched on patterns resembling her armor, her midriff was exposed, the hair was made of a very soft cloth material, and the most important feature: The plushie had a frowning face.
It contrasted with S/O's beaming face, looking quite proud to show her their creation.
(AK-15) "What is the purpose of this stuffed toy, S/O?"
(S/O) "I just wanted to remind you of how cute you are!"
(AK-15) "..."
She stares straight into the plushie's eyes, making the exact same face it was, though her cheeks became slightly red.
(AK-15) "I do not understand but if it makes you happy, then that is fine."
15 exhales a very quiet sigh. It may have not made much sense to her, but the effort was very apparent, as was the love for her.
She at the very least could appreciate that.
(AK-15) "...I don't look that angry, do I?"
She quietly puts the plushie on her bed, staring at it every now and then whenever S/O isn't currently available.
Tumblr media
94 quietly examines the plushie S/O had given to her. It was quite detailed, the pale blonde hair and jacket was made of the same thin cloth that felt comfortable to hold.
Her facial expression was quite blank, but it was entirely accurate to her.
(S/O) "What do you think?"
S/O excitedly asked. 94 nodded and held the plushie tight.
(AN-94) "It is expertly made, S/O. I do not doubt this will sell throughout the base-"
(S/O) "Huh? No, it's not for sale. It's a gift, for you!"
(AN-94) "For...me?"
She stares again at the plushie and realizes just how much attention to detail from her usual gear was transferred over to the plush. To the point it made her slightly blush and caused a smile to form onto her lips.
(AN-94) "...Thank you, S/O. I will treasure it."
94 has the plush next to her bed back in DEFY's dorm, it sitting comfortably next to a picture of her and S/O.
AK-12 teases her about it time to time, but it makes 94 quite happy that her S/O loves her so much to the point they'd go through the effort to make such a gift.

Hello everyone!
I trashified another stuffed animal!
My boyfriend knows me well. So well that he saw a huge plush shark for sale at the store he works at and decided I had to have it as a christmas gift... Specifically because it has a huge, open mouth with a seam in the back of it. I named my shark Galileo!
It took me a bit to get the fabric for this, but I got it and sat down to do this a couple days later.
Here's some before pictures:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was pretty straightforward to unpick the stitches across the back of his mouth... Even though I've lost my seam ripper and had to do it with scissors 🤦
Tumblr media
I then made a pouch, following the same procedure I did when I made Oliver's.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a bit harder this time to sew the pouch into the back of the mouth.
Tumblr media
The pink fabric of the mouth is very rigid, so sewing it was kind of tedious. I poked my fingertips a lot this time, and accidentally stabbed the back of my thumb hard at one point.
But, the sore fingers are worth it to me for this result:
Tumblr media
Because Galileo is so much bigger than Oliver, I can fit my entire arm in his pouch up to the shoulder like this:
Tumblr media
And another trashification project is done! Now I just need to find a stuffed animal big enough for me to climb into...

Are we sending pictures of are luigi plushies now cuz if so i'm all for it!
This is my luigi plushie! I've had him since I was 14, 2018!
I got him when toys r us was still around!
Now to give some context this was the day after my birthday where before going to the store me, my sister and my mother went to the arcade to celebrate a bit then taking us to toy's r us to pick what we wanted!
Now the toy's r us we went to was close to closing forever so alot of things were going for sale. So me and my sister went are separate ways to see what we wanted I was walking around awhile seeing what i may want. When at the very back of the aisles I see one luigi plushie in the middle of a bunch of piggy bank mario's when I walked up to him I was wondering why nobody had taken him but when I looked closer I saw that part of luigi's mustache was broken and I thought that why nobody took him. He was broken, he wasn't perfect, like me..... I put him back on the shelf and walked to the left to continue looking but then I thought "what if someone takes him" and no even a few steps away from the plush I turned around walked back to the plush and immediately took him without hesitation he wasn't perfect he was broken just like me.... ( to give a little context I was really depressed during this time since I was being abused by my mother so that's why I mention this don't worry I'm fine now ) so I went up to my mother and told her this is what I wanted waited for my sister she got her gift which was clue the board game.... ( yeah I don't know why she got that either ) paid for it and went home. When we got home I checked the price of the plushie which it cost $40 dollars which I think the original price was $80 but because it was half off or something we got it for $40 dollars which i think that was a steal! But ever since that day I took great care of my luigi plushie he's 5 years old and still going strong he's become one of my prized possessions that I love and cherish to this day and will forever be apart of my life ❤️
Sorry that this is long I saw someone posted a luigi plushie pic into your ask and knew I had to send you mine but I hope you liked the story! I'm glad I met another luigi fan such as yourself and I hope you can continue to make great content for all of us luigi fans have a good day/night from me to you!
Tumblr media
This is a cute story ngl.
I may not have my childhood Luigi doll anymore, but the oldest plushie I DO have is an old Oswald the Lucky Rabbit plush doll from 2010! I’d share a pic but he’s put away in a box. He has a small poorly stitched patch on his forehead because he got damaged by fire once and a 13 year old me tried to fix him 🥺.
The tiny Luigi plush I used to have had a funny design from what I remember. It wasn’t bootleg, but none of the current plushies I see in stores looked like the one I had, so alas I cannot replace him 😭. I took him to Six Flags one time and left the amusement park without him 🥺 I didn’t have a Mario plushie to pair with him, but I did have a Yoshi tho. I remember the Yoshi looking very lopsided tho xD.

Hi!!! I really love your snake Crowley plush and I want to make a similar one both as A Friend and also as like, a mini weighted blanket type thing to drape over myself when I'm anxious. Did you use a pattern for him?
Hellloooooo! I am unbelievably delighted that my snake child is so beloved!!! First, I have definitely been cuddling with him as a weighted blanket snek and honestly the snakey form is sssso much better than a blanket imo because he's A Wiggly Friend rather than just a big suffocating warm thing. Highly recommended!
Second, no I did not use a pre existing pattern, but I can tell you what I did and if the instructions are too vague I can (try to) write a real one up to share! I am kinda an intuitive (lmao, messy) knitter in that I hate fixing mistakes so I just integrate any I make into the project and let whatever happens guide the process but there was a method which emerged eventually.
This is LONG. But here we go:
Here's the yarn I used. Total, 120ish (maybe 160??) yd of super bulky for his belly and 4 skeins of 2 strands held together (total 450ish yd?) of a bulky worsted for his back. It was on sale? Definitely go bulky as you can manage, otherwise you'll be at this forever. If I was rich I would have held together a strand of silk blend black with the plain superwash for a pretty glistening look but whatever
Tumblr media
Cascade yarn is the best mid grade superwash ever.
I like the look of held together yarn for contrast against the belly, makes the black stitches look more scaled and have a softer drape but whatever, if you hate holding strands together and prefer a more overall bulky look, use super bulky all over. Bernat is cheaper than wool for sure too.
I knitted his belly first, using US 13/9mm needles and K stitch. I was doing a snake crowley glove project at the same time and knitting them in the round half black half red. It SUCKED and was unmanageable. I hate colourwork. So, tummy first to establish length because it's easier to rip out if I make a horrible mistake. That happened a lot as he kept getting longer and longer and I tried to do increases without looking while watching much ado about nothing and ...etc
The top was knitted in stockinette with 10.5/6mm needles directly onto his belly, by sliding the last black stitch of the row onto the right needle, picking up a red stitch from the first row available of the belly, moving the black stick back over to the left above the red stitch, and then k or p2tog in stockinette. I always picked up the red stitch knitwise because I'm lazy.
It sounds way more complicated than it is, but you must 1) know what your stitches look like so you consistently pick up the same one each row and 2) be careful not to skip a belly row, since it'll end up crooked and janky if you skip one or accidentally pick up twice from the same row (bulky, lighter colour, knit stitch all helped a lot here! Do the belly first!)
This made the cool effect of stippling at the transition and meant I didn't have to sew anything together ever but it also made stuffing him HELL ON WHEELS since it was a 6+ ft tube already by the time I stuffed (I'll explain stuffing at the end)
If you do this, use circulars. Easier to deal with all the twisting and chaos once you're 3 feet in. You can just knit the sections separately and baste them at the end OR only knit them together on one side and baste the other at the end oh godammit why didn't I do that
Ok, back to the belly.
Here's a closer look at the bottom of his snoot;
Tumblr media
You can see I'm a messy increaser lmao. I did the increases in the middle so there would be a throat look, I think? That was a long time ago when I thought he would be about 4 feet of snek. Anyway, start with a small amount of stitches (looks like I was at 3?) increase row by row for the eye socket/jaw part, and then decrease after a few rows. Sometimes I knit a few rows to see what I'm working with, then trace what I have and sketch out the rest of the shape/size I'm aiming for. I did not do that here, just increased until it looked like the width I wanted and then knit a couple rows before decreasing a little for his neck.
Except snakes don't really have necks, but whatever. You should think of the belly as the BASE of the whole thing. Don't get clever trying to increase and decrease too much for shaping, I did that and it was hell when making the top. Find a stitch width past the head part which seems cuddly/about 1/3 of the total round shape you'll want to end up with after stuffing and knit that for a million years until you've attached your last red skein.
I started decreasing for his tail to end up being 1/4 of his total length. You'll be obsessively measuring the whole time because making him takes forever, so do math or just decide "its tail time!"
Just k2tog at the second to last stitch on the needle (because remember, you'll be picking up the last stitch for the top!) an odd number of rows at a time. This is where it's hard to really write a pattern because those red stitches are hidden by the construction! Ultimately, after 4-5 ft of the belly you should be familiar with your gauge and know how many stitches will make a smooth transitional taper. If you oops and decrease too many times on the same edge creating a weird angle, who cares. You'll be hiding so many sins with the top part. Once you're down to 5 stitches or so, switch to circulars or dpns and make as long of an icord as feels right to you, decreasing at some point to bind off your cord with a final total of 2 stitches.
Ok, top part. Decide which side of the belly is the inside! Or wait to see what you end up with like I did lmao.
I picked up the red snoot stitches instead of casting on and started knitting with the black yarn in reverse stockinette. Actually I changed my mind about 5 rows in to his snoot which side was going to face out, but whatever. Same thing, stockinette stitch. After 5ish rows of knitting black stitches, picking up the red stitch and knitting them together in pattern, switch stockinette directions (knit two rows, then purl, then knit etc) so his snoot is snooty.
Ok real talk, what I actually did for his head was, first, I just picked up red stitches and knitted them in pattern WITHOUT reducing to account for them, because I wanted the top curve of his head and body to be larger than the belly. Picking up without k2tog will increase each row by 1 stitch!
Then, once it was obviously a bit larger, what I did for picking up the red stitches at his mouth without increasing was:
k2tog the second and third to last black stitches, move last stitch over, pick up red stitch, move black stitch back, knit the black stitch, knit the red stitch. This looks different than the body, as you can see here:
Tumblr media
Head has black stitches interlaced with red, body just has red stitches stippling the transition. If you like the snaggly toothy look, do it that way for his face I guess! Or make it not look like trash, expecting nobody will ever see it up close but you! Lmao
I added some wrong way stitches to mark where his eyes would go (as eyebrows!) but if you don't have a good sense of how the head is coming together don't do that.
Follow along your belly increases while knitting/attaching the top, more or less. No need to mark exactly when increase/decreases happened, just try to keep the width of the back a little wider than the belly. You can increase by just not k2tog the red stitch you pick up! When you decrease, do that with the second and third stitches of the row instead of at the end, so you don't end up with a mess of k2togs always clustered together.
Also don't be stupid like I was and decide to just go nuts increasing and then frantically have to decrease unless you want him to be randomly fat in the middle ok?
Ok stuffing.
Ideally you sew his eyes on first. If you want to wait until his head is stuffed, just know you'll be trapped in the hell that I was and be VERY CAREFUL that you don't stab through the bead tube.
Start stuffing around 4-5 feet in (OR ONLY ATTACH HIM ON ONE SIDE whatever! I am so annoyed I only just NOW figured that out but I didn't have to sew anything but his eyes I GUESS) It will be impossible to travel with him after this and will make it hard to manage the turning of stockinette but anything is better than stuffing a 7ft tube. I used about 7lb of poly beads but only you know how heavy you want him.
I cut the legs off 2 pairs of tights (4 long tubes) poured just the beads into 2 of them, and mixed beads with stuffing into the other 2. Tightly tie off the open tops! Or sew them but...why
If you don't care about seeing the stuffing through the stitches, then intersperse stuffing around and between your tubes of beads. If you do care, gods be with you because I rolled the stuffing up into a very long piece of velvet and shoved it in there but nope, nobody should do that. I don't know why they don't make black poly stuffing.
His eyes are 48mm vintage buttons so I can't give you a link for them. If you're trying to make a similar sized snake fren you'll probably want to use 35mm-50mm. Nobody sells large enough safety/snap eyes in yellow cat eyes, as far as I can tell after searching for a couple of weeks :(
OK THAT'S ALL tell me if you want better close ups or anything or if you'd like this in a real pattern?? I have never written a pattern. But I might in the name of snekCrowleys for the world!

Hi. I need to raise ~$80 to pay my phone bill for the next 3 months (woohoo, mint mobile).
Is there anyone out there who would like to commission a small art, cross stitch patch/magnet, or other handicraft? A collage covered notebook? Something?
Art tag
Alternately, would anyone be interested in an Internet garage sale? I have a lifelike squid plush suitable for use as a tailor's ham at low to moderate temperatures.
Current state of the job hunt is grim. Current state of my mental health is non-existent.

I can finally share this enormous project I did as a birthday gift for my partner! This giant squishmallow-inspired Clefable. I’ve been experimenting with mochi minky from Joann Fabrics for a few months with tiny cat blobs. This is by far my largest plush I’ve ever made.
I made her from my own pattern. Her face was made by using the satin stitch setting on my sewing machine and her eyes are appliqued on. The fabrics are from Joann Fabrics and the brown on the ear tips is from BigZFabrics on Etsy.

Werewolf News - Seasonal Werewolf Product Roundup
The time of year is well underway - my very favorite season... fall! And why is fall my favorite season? Well, it’s not just because it comes before Christmas and also has my birthday - it’s because of Halloween!
Since I keep up with so much werewolf news and stuff anyway, I figure I will start making werewolf news posts here on the blog. Here’s the first one! It’s a bit late due to delays, but here it is anyway.
You can find the links in the titles for each product. This isn’t a full roundup yet, but just some of my favorite things I’ve found.
First up, have a cuddly werewolf...
Build a Bear Werewolf 2022 (currently on sale, as of this post!)
Tumblr media
You may not know this about me, but I am a huge plushie collector and enthusiast. I love plushies (I dream of having my own plushie company someday; I’m actually working toward this). And I collect every werewolf plushie possible. It’s difficult, because scalpers love them and there are very few made. A werewolf plushie can end up being worth a lot if you can get your hands on one. Of course, I don’t want them for value, I want them because they are cute and awesome.
I may prefer my werewolves terrifying and fearsome, but look, I just love plushies, okay?
So here is a new plushie out for this season - Build a Bear has a werewolf plush, if you’re interested. I’ve been collecting these every year when I can. This design isn’t quite as good as the last two, because it has no glow-in-the-dark stitching, at least that I see mentioned anywhere, and the addition of brown in the yellow eyes is a weird choice.
But, regardless, it’s a very cute design, especially if you missed the last few years. I also can recommend the bubblegum scent, if you’re into scented plushies. It’s a great smell and not overwhelming, but it can be useful if there’s an offensive odor around.
Next up is possibly among the very coolest werewolf decorations I’ve ever seen for Halloween...
Home Depot’s 9.6-foot tall werewolf!
Tumblr media
This big bad wolf is absolutely amazing. His mouth has a light in it, his eyes are LEDs that blink and move, he is absolutely freaking enormous and comes on a huge metal stand to keep him sturdy, he’s weatherproof, and he moves and he even howls and it sounds great (and looks great).
If I was rich, I’d buy this dude instantly. I’ve always wanted to have really awesome werewolf decorations like this guy. Sadly, I am not only not rich, I am completely broke, and I absolutely do not have the cash to spare to get this.
But if you do, then get him, because I’m not sure we’re ever gonna see a werewolf decoration as awesome as this. I have seen a few that kind of compare, but really, I’m not sure any of them quite stack up to this guy.
Home Depot has a few other werewolves, too...
Home Depot Macho Man Werewolf
Tumblr media
This is an adorable little dude, and if the Home Depot within an hour of me actually had one in stock and/or delivered, I would get one immediately. Standing only at 13 inches, this guy can fit on your desk.
He also comes with animation and music; see the page for details.
And lastly, we have something pretty strange...
Home Depot Werewolf Pathway Lights
Tumblr media
Home Depot went all out this year on werewolf products! I checked Lowes and I found one sad, broken werewolf hanging in an aisle, but I looked online and found all this werewolf stuff at Home Depot. I’m impressed.
This is the most hilarious one: werewolf pathway lights. These little dudes are pretty awesome, I gotta say. I’d buy them too if I could.
That’s all the news for now!
Give me a follow to get ready for this Halloween’s big werewolf fact and even more werewolf updates (including the release of my own werewolf books coming later this year and early next year)!

This is a Etsy Poland handmade Zodick plush and it is pretty good for the first ever plush of the character.
I just wish it had a tiny devil tail like in the game and this plush looks like a vintage UFO catcher plush you would see in Japan if the creator was still alive and his game got that Xbox port.
Tumblr media
Similar to this style of plush.

This plush reminded me of a old PC game beanbag plush from the game Creatures 2 called a Norndoll that a few copies had included with it.
It had droopy ears and looked stitch like before that movie was a thing while having sewn eyes with a tail.
I sold it a long time ago and it didn't have a tush tag so I randomly found it on google images and it was a surprise to me.
The Norn plush I used to have was the purple one which is still rare but was a common color and was the same size as the small giggle monster plush with one eye.
The plush was lightly stuffed and couldn't stand up by itself kind of like a understuffed beanie baby similar to the plush I got from K&K games or K&K sales that felt similar to this plush.

A blog about obscurity stuff, plushies and food. on Tumblr
This is my guess on what this Zodick plush feels like and if it was $50 I might buy it.
This plush looks good but I would rather wait for it to be on sale or Etsy has a coupon code to bring down the price a little.
Maybe check if I can get a plush as big as the John Doe one that looks more Zodick like with his tail attached and mouth open then it would be worth the price.
Images not mine but links are there.

Attention tumblr!
Tumblr media
I don’t know if anyone going to see this, but this plushie means a lot to me and getting it funded has been a struggle for the past few weeks. Luckily the campaign has been extended for 7 days and there has been only 102 sales (me included).
I understand if you do not want the plushies, but buy one helps other people who support the campaign to get them since they will only be made once when 200 has been sold.
If you want a small preview of what the plush would be like I have the Izzurius plushie and their relatively the same with a few minor differences. You can basically compare them since their design is pretty much identical so here’s my review from my Izzy plushie:
Izzy
His eyes glow in the dark but it’s very hard to get them to glow so it takes a while to get them light. Also if you make the mistake of somehow triggering the glow stuff before going to bed…Uhh…good luck if you need to sleep in pure pitch darkness
The staff in his hand gets in the way a lot. Actually one of the stitches that was holding it broke a few days after I got him so that sucked until I patch him back up! (You can see him on my instagram if you want!)
Feet are extremely soft, like I love rubbing my thumb on them! It’s so satisfying!
He can sit down (well all makeship plushies do that) but unfortunately he sometime has trouble staying still
Funny facial expressions! Oh my god Izzy has such funny expressions!
Round head makes him bald!🤭
He’s soft but that’s just a stuffy thing
Hard time picking him up, like I just grab his head or eye. I used to grab the staff but I’ve been trying to avoid that since it might fall off again. Occasionally I grab his hand but their so small so I don’t really go for them
And now the difference that are on Mizzy!
Mizzy
Hands are much longer. While this can be a turn off to some people, I’m actually pretty excited since they look so soft and also I can now easily grab him when I need to pick him up
Ambiguous facial expression. I mean if you look at his right side he’s giving a side eye and if you look at the left he looks disgusted/disturbed but outsides of that he’s got a bit of a kooky look
Beak is a bit to long and droopy, like it’s giving squidward. It’s too long but I guess that makes it easier to grab him!
TAIL TAIL TAIL! Oh my god, when I got the blueprints of Izzy I was sad he didn’t have his tail, but mizzy does and it looks so soft! I really want to just run my fingers through his tail!
Back of jacket logo was a great design choice!
And that what I got from the plushies. Please check out the campaign. The money will be going to be paying off the artists that retrospecter work with and will also be going to the Trevor project (also I don’t know if the extension effects this) either way the money’s going to a good cause/place!

Did another 6 hours of knitting tonight, and I’m around where I had stopped last time. (Well, like an inch into the hood section, but still - general area.) 6hrs tonight + 4hrs last night + 2hrs for the garter stitch and cast-on. 12 hours-ish.
I’ll probably end up finishing most of it tomorrow night and/or Saturday. For the plush I want to make (for sale), I’ll start with the mouse cat-toy, because I’m well-acquainted with that pattern. Otherwise, I’ll have to browse my inspiration blog for what to do next. I don’t want to do pumpkins until I get more eyelash yarn.
While digging through yarn and patterns, I can’t let myself be distracted by the urge to knit doll sweaters. Because, by golly, that happens to me so often, as I dig through stuff.
