episode 1: LONDON

London - i always loved you, always love you, and always will love you. for so many reasons to list:

1) british airways club world business class is actually decent. people hate on your hard product, and yes it deserves some crap, but i’m short and light enough to be OK with it, and i love the british hospitality.

2) a proper british breakfast will always be awesome. some eggs, some bacon, some sausage, some beans, some toast, and some coffee. it is so satisfying to look at and to taste.

3) a propert british ale on a wooden chair is there to comfort you. that warm and slightly bitter beer is magnificent. it’s not the perfect beer, but it soothes you. it comforts you.

4) a sunny day in london is better than a sunnay day in any other place. it is so rare that when you see it, you are blown away. this was my third trip to london. and yes, third time is indeed the charm. from the westminster bridge, you see a near perfect sight.

5) your city is both old and new. this view of thames and southern london is taken from the golden gallery - the top of st. paul’s cathedral. this city has so many beautiful spots everywhere. the journey to the golden gallery is tough, but it’s worthwhile.

6) london has fine dining - forreal. just see this. cocktail from the blind pig and a perfectly cooked venison from the social eating house. london’s culinary scene is better than your imagination.

7) you have so many great markets with even more great street food options. this is kati from camden market. it was a rather chilly early afternoon so this warm chicken wrapped with colorful and juicy veggies just melts you. heaven in your mouth.

8) finally, you have the f’ing amazing ministry of sound. unbelievable music and with live ‘singer’? the box at MoS is pure magic. i love every single thing about this place, including the 8 pound beer.
