I wanted to work on some pokemon teams for thsc characters, But drawing pokemon can be very time consuming. So I just kinda made some edits for the main five to show their teams.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note that while some pokemon choices were based on personality/headcanons/etc, Others were just based on vibes and what I think they'd use.
Some explanations and semi story stuff under the cut (Warning: Long):
Henry:
None of the pokemon that Henry caught were exactly planned.
Before BtB, Henry never even considered himself a trainer. The absolute most he had done at this point was mock battles with Gabe using their parent's pokemon when they were kids.
Absol started following him around before BtB (And if you know anything about Absol, You probably know what that means for Henry).
Mimikyu was found huddled in the same bag that Henry was using as a disguise.
Gimmighoul was already in the vault when Henry got there, Attempting to steal a few coins.
Henry got a break from finding new pokemon during EtP. But during StD, He found Sableye clinging to the diamond he was going to steal.
He never actually caught the Celebi. They apparently took a liking to Henry and used their time travel abilities to help him.
He's still not a very good battler.
Ellie:
Ellie was your typical trainer going on a journey before things got really out of hand. She got herself caught up in some crime before getting sent to the Wall.
Braxien was her starter and Roselia was her first caught pokemon.
She used the Cyclizar napping outside of the wall to help her and Henry escape. She then got attached and kept him.
The Amaura was a "Weird rock" she found shortly after escaping the Wall.
Despite her kinda small team, Ellie is a good battler. She's in the process of teaching Henry (It's going kinda slowly).
Charles:
Charles is one of those people who personally believes pokemon shouldn't be kept in their pokeballs as often as they are and rarely keeps his own in them. He isn't exactly vocal about this opinion though.
Flygon was Charles' very first pokemon. The two are extremely in sync, Charles doesn't even need to order an attack out loud sometimes, Flygon already knows!
While Charles prefers keeping pokemon that can be out and flying with him while he's in his helicopter, Lycanroc is an exception. That's his dog.
Charles got Corviknight sometime after joining the military.
Nobody knows for sure how Charles got a hold of a Latias. If you ask him, He'll just say "She followed me while I was flying one day."
He prefers to keep battles professional and doesn't participate in regular battles very often. He has some of the highest level pokemon of the main five (Also he has a legendary so it's not exactly very fair).
Reginald:
Reginald takes great pride in having some of the most well cared for pokemon. He'll brag about it for hours, Much to other's annoyance.
His starter was Meowscarada (They have the same goddamn pose lol) and Honchcrow was the first pokemon he caught.
Milotic was a gift from Right. He wasn't very good at catching pokemon yet, So he could only manage to catch a Feebas. Reg still very much appreciated it.
People joke that Reg caught Thievul because they have matching mustaches.
His pride and joy, Diancie, Was originally a Carbink. They transformed into a Diancie during the "leadership battle" against Terrence.
He's probably a better battler than a physical fighter. Although, He's the type to overthink things and accidentally give the opponent the advantage.
RHM:
Right was raised by a family who didn't like/didn't want him to have pokemon. As a result, He didn't have a single one when he joined the Toppats. He didn't want to admit it, But he was a little scared of pokemon and the idea of being a trainer for a while.
Blaziken was his starter but he didn't get him until joining the Toppats.
Sylveon was a gift from Reginald. Despite the two's rivalry when they first met, Reg didn't want Right to be stuck with an uncertain relationship with his own pokemon. And since Eevee was a great pokemon for beginners, It was pretty much perfect. You'd think it's funny for a guy like Right to have a Sylveon, But you won't be laughing when you get hit by a moonblast.
Stoutland was the first pokemon (Besides the Feebas for Reg) Right caught on his own.
The Skarmory's dramatic irony for RHM Reborn.
The Mudsdale is because of the cowboy vibes.
Right struggled as a battler at first, But pretty quickly got the hang of it. He's very adamant about not using mega evolution, Z moves, etc, Much to Reg's disappointment. To quote Right "I ain't gonna use any cheap gimmicks." Looking at his Blaziken however, That might just change someday.

BL Round-Up #5
So @negrowhat tagged me in a current watchlist and I realized I haven’t done one of these since I started a new job. We have a lot to catch up on! We’ll clear out what I’ve completed first.
Recently Finished
I apologize in advance. I have completed a great many shows.
Minato Shouji Coin Laundry aka Minato’s Laundromat (GagaOOlala) 10 - I absolutely loved this show, and am currently showing it to my BL watch partner on our Tuesday/Thursday watch sessions. This show utilized its entire cast so well to explore the nature of age-gap romance, being gay and cowardly, and the nature of youth desire. Absolutely phenomenal, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Gameboys 2 (GagaOOlala via VPN) 10 - Gameboys 2 knew exactly what it wanted to be and completely delivered. I enjoyed this so much more than the movie, and was glad that the Terrence and Wesley dynamic was given more breathing room. Pearl and Achilles fit well into the drama this time, and I even enjoyed the way we got to see more of Gav’s family this time around. The IdeaFirst Company continues to make absolutely incredible queer content. It’s just a shame that so much of it ends up behind difficult paywalls for international viewers.
21 Days Theory (Rookie Thailand YouTube) 9.5 - This show shot up in my rankings for this year because of the way the adults played out their insecurities and supported the youngsters in this drama. This show is so good that it actually made me root for a straight couple. I am 100% here for shorter Thai BLs that use all of their couples well, rather than the bloated mess so many of the pulps tend to be.
Triage (Grey) 9.5 - This was everything I hoped to get out of a time loop show. Continue to love with the Manner of Death team has been up to and can’t wait to see more of their work. This isn’t exactly the normal fare for BL, but it’s the kind of gay characterization I enjoy.
About Youth (Gaga or Viki) 9 - I don’t think this show had enough time to explore all of its ideas, but this show is a valuable addition to the Summer ‘22 High School BL Extravaganza. The cast is just so beautiful, and the boys from Taiwan continue to give earnest performances that I find incredibly endearing. Fuck Ye Guang’s parents, though.
Great Men Academy (Grey) 9 - I didn’t intend to watch this, but @flukenatouch convinced me and it ended up being a lot better than I expected. It’s not BL at all really, but holy hell was I absolutely obsessed with James Teeradon by the end of this show. Also I got to enjoy Captain’s gorgeous eyes again! This show involved a lot of gender swapping, but I enjoyed the show’s kind exploration of masculinity and what it means to admire someone.
Papa & Daddy Season 2 (Gaga) 8.5 - Papa & Daddy 2 has all of the same struggles as the first season, but I genuinely love it for what it’s trying to be. I think, in so many ways, this show encapsulates the strange experience many queer people have of growing into parents and starting families when it was something we never thought we would do. I think straight people naturally consider what kind of parents they might be because procreation is a likely outcome to their desires for intimacy, but it’s not something queer people really have a lot of guidelines for. I liked the challenges and themes of this season, even if I find myself consistently frustrated with filial piety.
Senpai, This Can’t Be Love! (Gaga or Viki) 6 - Very disappointing finish. I felt the lack of communication to be overly juvenile, so I can’t walk away from this show envisioning them as a functional couple at all.
Love Mechanics (WeTV) 6 - There are some things I liked here, but Mark and Vee are not my thing, and I found much of this to be rather tedious.
Coffee Melody (Viki) 5.5 - Boring, and frustrating. Not a good show. Don’t waste your time.
Currently Watching
This is still a lot, but I’m finally under 10 shows.
Takara-kun & Amagi-kun (Gaga or Viki) 10 - Episode 5/8. I cannot overstate how much I’m enjoying the way this show is exploring first desire and relationships with Takara and Amagi. It is the show I most look forward to each week.
180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us (Gaga) 9.5 - Episode 7/8. This is not BL. It is a story about a young, angry gay man; his overbearing, narcissistic mother; and his father’s best friend and missed love. It is exploring the ways different generations have reacted to queerness, and I cannot stop thinking about it. It is essentially a play adapted to screen, and everyone involved is giving some of the best performances I’ve ever seen out of Thailand. It is no surprise that Pond Ponlawit is a Nadao alum, because I haven’t been this gripped by a Thai performer since ITSAY/IPYTM and Great Men Academy.
I know many folks will never watch this because it isn’t the kind of fun fare that Thai BL often offers, but this is the kind of play that someone sees on a whim that alters the way they see themselves and the world.
The Eclipse (YouTube) 9 - Episode 7/12. I’m really enjoying how complete this show feels. Each moment feels intentional and like it’s contributing towards the end goals. I enjoy it when BL knows what it wants to say, and I’m enjoying the unsubtle politics of this show. Also, Khaotung and First are such a great pair. Neo is finally in a role that he can really shine, and he’s working with Louis in a way that finally lets me see why they’ve been paired.
Love in the Air (iQIYI) 8.5 - Episode 6/13 This show doesn’t really have a plot, but I honestly like it more for that. I personally love when BL is more character driven, and I’m enjoying watching this as a vanilla type and reading commentary from folks like @lutawolf. Though I still struggled with the early bits of this show, I like where it’s gone and can understand why they skipped what I think are incredibly necessary aspects of consent to show. I remain surprised that I have this many positive things to say about a MAME production.
My Only 12% (iQIYI) 8.5 - Episode 7/14 I think @absolutebl broke me when he said this show felt like a Thai take on a Big Eden (2000) prequel (iykyk). I also imploded over the inclusion of Love of Siam (2007) in the storytelling of this narrative. In so many ways this show feels like it’s screaming out the pain and frustration and loneliness we felt as queer in the early 00s trying to sort out the kind of people we wanted to be when we were young and struggling to find community. It was hard entering the community when all of your elders were still coping with so much grief, and there were just so few depictions of queer joy to turn to.
Earth and Santa are a good pair, but for once I’d like to see one of Earth’s characters be happy. I’d also like him to not play a naggy character in the future.
Once Again (Gaga or Viki) 8 - Episode 4/8 - I like the way the sci-fi elements feel in this show with the time travel implications. I know this is going to end sad, but I’m loving the texture of the sense of inevitability in this show.
Ai Long Nhai (iQIYI) 8 - Episode 1/12. It’s fine so far. I like the gay dads. I like the friend dynamic. Subs are only okay. This show might end up being forgettable, but I hope it’s fun.
Vice Versa (YouTube) 7 - Episode 11/12. I haven’t been enjoying this for a while. I have just had to accept that I am not a Jittirain fan, and the way she tells stories just doesn’t work for me. I find myself completely frustrated with and by Puen, and I feel constantly bad for Talay. Otherwise, Jimmy and Sea are a pretty pair. I hope all the constant ads are generating enough revenue to pay for the rest of the BLs on GMMTV.
War of Y (Gaga) 7 - Episode 8/20. I continued this because it moved to Gaga, but I constantly suffer from a dissonance with this show. It wants to explore the dark side of BL by making so many recognized BL pairs and supporting cast play out scenarios that are incredibly uncomfortable. It’s a weird experience to watch a BL that seems to want us to not watch BL anymore.
Not BL
Midnight Diner (Netflix) 10 - This has become my wind down watch before bed. I find this kind of light drama incredibly relaxing. I also love Japanese filming styles that rely on long takes. I like letting the actors act. I don’t want to feel the editing constantly when I’m watching something. I notice it when I come back to Thai productions and it’s constantly cutting and changing the angle of the shot, or refusing to put actors in the same frame for more than one line delivery.
Is It Wrong To Try to Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? IV (HiDive) 9 - We all have shows we make exceptions for. I make mine here because I enjoy adventuring party shows. This season has been a really good adaptation, and I continue to love all of the character dynamics.
Do Revenge (Netflix) 9 - As a long-time fan of Throw Momma From The Train (1987), I do love a good Strangers on the Train story. This one was excellent, and used its lesbian characters well. Everyone turns in fun and memorable performances, especially Camila Mendes, Maya Hawke, and Sophie Turner.
9-1-1 (Fox, HULU) 8 - I’m an American and do love a first responder procedural.

Ron/ lavender- post war auror partners
PG 13 Trigger warnings: language, scar shaming, interogation
--- Ron preferred getting to be the tough Auror in an interrogation. With few exceptions, he was taller than anyone brought in, and cut enough after years of training and working out that he was an intimidating figure. He liked taking the lead, figuring out what the criminal had done, solving the mystery — and there was satisfaction in getting to scare the shite out of a nasty bastard he’d been cleaning up the dead bodies of for months.
But today he lost the coin flip, so he’d have to play nice.
“And there’s nothing I can do to convince you to help us?” Ron asked, a small smile on his face.
“Eat a dick,” Terrence Cartwright spat.
Ron's smile waned, and he exchanged a knowing glance with Lavender, who had just entered the room.
"Sounds like we're at an impasse?” she said.
Ron nodded, feigning a helpless shrug. "Nothing I said convinced him to confess. Not even the fingerprints seem found at the crime.”
“And nothing’s going to,” said Cartwright, “because I didn’t do anything! It was all that- that Drainko Malfloyle.”
Ron struggled to stifle a laugh at the butchered name. Draco was one of his least favorite people on earth, but he’d been squeaky clean since the war. That didn’t stop people from trying to pin crimes on him for the past decade.
“Drainko Malfloyle,” said Ron, a mischievous glint in his eye as he glanced at Lavender. “He’s definitely a criminal mastermind. Lavender, with Cartwright’s input, we could finally capture him!”
Lavender rolled her eyes, but a small smirk played at the corner of her lips.
“I doubt someone as powerful as Drainko Mallfloyle would deal with a petty thief like you, Cartwright.”
“Petty thief?!” Cartwright spluttered. She was going for his pride. Nice.
“I guess I overestimated him,” Ron added.
“There’s no way he could have pulled off those heists. If anything he was just doing grunt work. Right Terrence?” asked Lavender. “You’re not smart enough or ruthless enough to have done these.”
Cartwright’s face contorted into a malicious sneer. “Better than being a scarred-up freak like you.”
Ron clenched his fists until his knuckles turned white. Greyback had left her with a series of scars down the right side of her jaw down her neck and mangling her ear.
“Oh you’re definitely not smart enough,” Lavender said in a bored voice to Cartwright. “We found Muggle footage of you killing the guard.”
Ron’s eyebrows rose in surprise.
She gave Ron a secret smile as she passed behind Cartwright and nodded. “We don’t even need your confession.”
“Muggle shit? No one will believe that!”
“Perhaps not,” said Ron. “But add in fingerprints and motive.”
“And a witch witness,” said Lavender.
“Oh, you have been busy!” Ron said with a grin.
Cartwright was glowering, but his eyes were flitting to the door, and he had a gross wetness left behind from him nervously licking his lips.
—--------------------------------
Ron leaned against the cubicle wall and watched Lavender as she finished their paperwork.
“What?” she asked, not looking up from her work.
“Nothing,” he said, looking around to make sure they were alone. He leaned down and let a hand linger on her shoulder.
She smiled, though she looked tired and not as pleased as he’d hoped. She’d grown so tough since they were teens.
He gave her a soft kiss on the scar along her cheek. “I’m bloody proud of you, Lav.”
Her impassive look wobbled. “I knew he might say something about me… I usually glamour it.”
“You don’t need to do that.”
“I know… But it gives them something to go for, and it makes me look weak.”
“It makes them look like fuckwits,” he said, gently putting a finger under her chin. “And it makes you look like a badarse.”
“You think?”
“Of course!” His hand pulled back her hair she’d been hiding around the scar. He kissed the juncture on her neck. “And you know I think you’re beautiful.”
“Oh?” she said, that saucy little smile finally back on her face.
He continued his kisses up her jaw, reveling in the shiver that ran through her.
“My place?” he hummed against her neck.
“Mine,” she said, possessively holding his face and bringing him in for a proper snog.

The Second Ever Date
Tumblr media
Cherry and Ashton where sitting in a small very hipster-ish café, it didn’t really match either of their aesthetics but it was a nice place. He placed his chin on his hand and smiled while sighing softly. “Heh, this must be a glitch in the system or something, right?” He chuckled, after taking a sip of his coffee adding to his twenty a day.
Cherry sipped a bit of her milkshake the strong chocolate taste filling her mouth and senses. “What do you mean?” She smiled at Ashton, making him feel like he could almost faint. Even with the simplest smallest thing he always felt a pang of loving pain in his heart.
But he quickly shook his head and looked down with a sigh before looking up again, an out of character serious expression on his face. “Well, you could date any of the other guys. The game ended so they should be fine, I think.” That last part he muttered not wanting her to think he was crazy.
Cherry stared at the floor before replying with a serious and, at least to Ashton, remorseful “No, I couldn't.” This was... disconcerting to the big lad and he panicked a little thinking back on his actions.
He grinned awkwardly at first his eyes darting around all over the place. “Why not ?” He asked his grin forming into a pants sh*tting look of terror. But luckily as soon as Cherry raised her face he quickly changed his own to be more casual in demeanour.
She sighed and grinned, shrugging slightly. “Well, cause I don’t like any of them half as much as I like you.” Just as Ashton raised his biscuit to his mouth he dropped it in surprise. Immediately after he sprung towards her almost knocking over the table in his joy. He quickly gripped her hands and held them tightly, as if he were to let go she would float away from him.
"M-May I kis..." He started so confident but quickly trailed off until it was but a mutter. He clutched his head in his hand starting to laugh, moreso in sheer awkward pain then anything else, "I thought I was ready. Well, I'm sorry for wasting your time, hon-"
Cherry leaned in, enrapturing Ashton’s lips in a short kiss which made his heart feel like it was exploding. "You could never waste my time, even if you tried." She got up to leave as they had already finished their drinks, but he had other plans and snuck up behind her to scoop her up into a bridal carry.
He quickly nuzzled into her face and neck before storming over to the till somehow getting his wallet while also holding her with just one arm. He poured his coins out before turning to leave again. "Keep the change! I know I will." He called back before turning to look down at her again and smiled leaning down to kiss her.

Cleon XII, Cleon XIII, Jerril for the new version of fuck, marry, kill. I need to know
anon I would LOVE to study you........
cleon xii: put in the washing machine and clip onto a line when they’re soggy. this would make no improvements to his personality, undo 0 of his war crimes and achieve absolutely nothing 💕💕💕 fans of terrence mann do (lovingly) compare his performance as javert to a soggy cat so I feel there's precedent here. into the laundry he goes idk maybe he'll calm down and stop doing weird monologues about pigments for 5 minutes
cleon xiii: knead like bread (platonically!!). he's gone through such an emotional rollercoaster since childhood and the other options felt too violent and mean? not sure why I'm babygirlifying a god-emperor who killed several hundred people with a flick of his wrist but here we are. knead like bread and put him in a nice dark proving drawer like a bake off contestant and maybe he'll have a couple more original thoughts in there. it'll be like walking the spiral and entering the cave again he'll enjoy it
jerril: hold from the ankles and shake till coins and miscellaneous items drop out their clothes bc you KNOW he'd have a bunch of cool spy stuff and trinkets linked to his tragic past in there!!! it'll be spy enrichment for him. also let's be real the cleons are fucking boring and never leave their little bubble so there would be literally nothing interesting or unique to be found on them. jerril is probably the #1 most interesting foundation character to do this to, period (aside from maybe demerzel)

Our heroes:   Welcome Lance Hamilton back under sad circumstances.
What important things did we learn about:
Callen: Staking out a former foster mom.   Sam:  Switch. Kensi:  Not sharing her card with Amantas. Deeks:  Sharing his card with Amantas Fatima: Not around much in this episode. Rountree: Personalizing his desk because he’s sentimental.   Kilbride:  Worried about Sam’s time as Switch.
What not so important things did we learn about:
Callen:  Reminds Sam that the carport parking spot is a community spot.   Sam:  Reminds Callen that it is his parking spot. Kensi:  Country music fan.   Deeks:  Open to country music but more West Coast fan. Fatima:  Learns to take a man down by the small bones in his wrist. Rountree: Could buy the entire town where he was born for $10 million. Kilbride:  Sharing his Challenge Coin.
Where in the world is Henrietta Lange?  In the back of a limo when young Callen is stolen from his happy foster home.
Who's down with OTP:   Solid hour for America’s sweethearts.
Who's down with BrOTP:  It was the Sam and Lance show today and they’re always good, even in rough times.  The Admiral and Rountree made an entertaining pair.
Fashion review:  Callen wore a pale blue polo – more a Chris O’Donnell look than a G. Callen look.  Sam starts the day in a long-sleeve black tee.  Sam as Switch wears the same tee with a ton of jewelry.  Kensi is wearing a long-sleeve grey and white sweater.  Deeks is in a super pale blue long-sleeve tee-shirt.  Fatima is training in a red and black zip-up jacket.  In the office, she’s wearing a red and white stripped turtleneck under a pale green sweater.  Rountree trains in a long-sleeve green workout shirt.  In the office, he’s wearing a grey hoodie with a black sleeves and a black pouch.  Admiral Kilbride in his typical dark blue three-piece suit with a pale blue
Music:  Kensi and Deeks have “Chicken Fried” by the Zac Brown Band on the radio.
Any notable cut scene:  No.
Quote:  Vuksan:  “This is, like, a big ask. Amantas is never gonna forgive me for - bringing the fuzz to his house.  Never.  Which means I could lose my biggest client.” Deeks:  "Fuzz?" Vuksan:  “You know I had a ten-month plan for going completely legitimate? Then you guys had to walk up the driveway.” Deeks:  “ This guy never stops talking.” Kensi:  “Oh, that's a big statement coming from you.” Deeks:  “That's my point.”
Anything else:  On a parking lot roof, a young man on a skateboard is having some fun until he’s nearly hit by a car as the driver looking for a spot.  Making his way into the parking structure, the skateboarder is also once again nearly hit by a vehicle.  This time it is an SUV leaving a parking space.  The driver yells “hey” to the skaterboy by he’s long gone.  Taking a deep breath, the driver takes a second to steady himself when he’s shot twice in the chest.  The gunman comes up alongside the open driver’s window with his gun drawn.  Reaching into the SUV, the gunman takes a notebook while the driver struggles to breathe.
As the driver is losing consciousness, a sedan races up to his spot.  Lance Hamilton runs over to see “Reid” dying in the car.  Asking about the notebook and the shooting, Hamilton is told in Reed’s dying breath that “Vander” was the shooter.
Sam pulls up to the office.  He’s arguing with Callen on the phone.  The Admiral told Callen that if he doesn’t use his leave, he’ll lose his leave.  Realizing that Sam isn’t driving, Callen asks if Sam is at work – 20-minutes earlier than usual.  Before Sam can answer, Callen asks if Sam is in so early so he can get his old space back.  “It’s my spot.”  In his car, Callen tells Sam he’s waiting for Anna outside of Eggslut before the two of them go to a motion picture museum.  That’s not true.  Callen is staking out an elderly woman as she gardens.
Driving to the office, Kensi is bopping along to some country music while Deeks is trying to keep an open mind to her driving music choices.  She’s singing along to some Zac Brown Band music, Deeks is wondering why.  Kensi can’t believe he doesn’t like country music.  He reminds her that he grew up totally on the West Coast.  His music of choice is more Sublime, Pennywise, Dr. Dre and Jack Johnson when he feels like he needs to be “herbally enhanced.”
Willing to evolve, he wants to know why this music works for her.  If Deeks was just some rando in a bar, Kensi would tell him that she grew up on military bases where this was the music of choice.  But since he’s not some guy in a bar, she tells him the music just makes her feel good.  She isn’t being told she needs a $3,000 purse to be happy.  The two sing on their way to the office.
In the gym, a hand-to-hand trainer is using Sam as part of a demonstration for Fatima and Rountree.  The trainer wants to see what Fatima can do.  As she engages with Rountree, Sam wanting to see what Rountree can do.  Fatima gets Rountree to the ground and Rountree can’t get up.  The trainer puts a stop to things.  When Rountree is asked what happened, he is explains the tactics Fatima used.  Instead of going after Rountree’s strengths – his arms, his legs, his core – she grabbed the small bones in his wrists and was able to position herself to take him to the ground.  Fatima loved the exercise, she wants to do more like this.
“Herbie”, the trainer, was a SEAL with Sam.  They would train for 18-months sometimes for one six-month assignment.  The Admiral pops up on the screen and Herbie goes into full sailor mode.  After an “As you were Commander Herbert”, the Admiral was grateful for the training session.  He’d also like to see Sam immediately.  While Sam leaves, Fatima and Rountree continue their work with Herbie.
In the fishbowl office, Lance Hamilton’s ID photo is on the plasma screen.  Sam asks if he’s working with Hamilton.  While he doesn’t have all the details, Hamilton was working a case investigating dirty federal agents.  Yesterday, his partner Scott Reid was killed.  Sam is bothered by this.  It gets worse when the Admiral tells Sam that a target of the investigating was a Percy Vander, an undercover asset when Sam is Switch.   Sam tells the Admiral that Vander was Switch’s mentor who gave Sam the bonafides to work in his criminal enterprise.
Reviewing the Switch file, the Admiral is impressed with all the good work Sam as Switch got done.  The Admiral asks if the Switch persona is still viable.  Sam isn’t sure – he’d have to check with King.  “I don’t know if she kept quiet on the inside or if she told people who I was.”  Hamilton believes Vander was responsible for Reid’s death.  Sam knows where this is going – Switch would lure Vander out.  The Admiral is worried about the person Sam is and the persona of Switch opened themselves to Vander.  “Can you hunt this man Vander down?”  The Admiral is worried Sam is too invested.  Sam tells the Admiral, “I got this.”
In the boatshed, Sam and Hamilton share greetings.  Sam learns Reid had a two-year old son.  Reviewing the case, there is a notebook with the names of dirty federal agents from Texas, Mississippi and Alabama kept by a wealthy Texas ranch owner with ties to the Dixie Mafia.  The ranch owner died.  His son Luke Gilroy sold the notebook to Reid.  The sale went through without incident – Luke Gilroy was even arrested – but someone came and shot Reid.  As back-up, Hamilton is wrecked that he didn’t make it to Reid in time.  Reid set up the purchase of the notebook in a hurry so no other buyers would be involved.
Sam asks where Vander fits in all of this.  Hamilton explains Reid’s dying word and asks Sam about Vander.  Saying that Vander was used to launch Switch, Sam tells Hamilton it was his most successful undercover operation ever.  It was a bicostal set-up, New York and LA.
In Ops, Kensi, Deeks, Fatima and Rountree are reviewing a new case.  Ryan Logue, a civilian airspace engineer at EXEC Aerospace stole highly classified Navy schematics.  Fatima and Rountree aren’t sure what the schematics are for but the thought is that she’s going to sell them to a Ukrainian national named Bohdan Amantas.  He’s been selling legal and illegal weapons for years.   Kensi thinks this is an FBI case.  It would be but Amantas has been in contact with an old friend of NCIS OSP – Henrik Vuksan, “Omni’s man in LA.”
After Rountree is brought up to speed on Vuksan’s past with NCIS, Rountree shares that Vuksan is now out of prison on parole for over a year.  The FBI wants to know if Vuksan is involved.  Is he helping Amantas buy the schematics or is using Amantas as a go-between to buy the schematics for Omni.  Using social media, Fatima found Vuksan in a pricy neighborhood.  Everyone stunned by the pricy real estate – Rountree thinks $10 million would buy the entire town where he was born.  “Welcome to LA” is Fatima’s reply.
Checking with King, and admitting to Hamilton that he has some history with “Dana”, Sam tells Hamilton that King did not blow his cover.  Hamilton asks if Sam trusts her.  “We have no choice but to trust her.”   Working on the plan, Sam tells Hamilton that Vander has a big personality that covers a very calculating man.  Thinking that Sam as Switch is working out of Mexico City, Vander won’t trust Switch just showing up.  Sam thinks he as to get something done for Switch instead.
Outside a mansion, Vuksan is showing around possible buyers, pointing out the features of the home.  The buyers aren’t impressed.  They had four “must haves” and the house only has three of them.  Saying that the house is priced accordingly, the other real estate agent working with Vuksan calls the buyer friendly price “Grand Theft Mansion”
As the possible buyers drive off, Kensi and Deeks arrive.  He recognizes them immediately, saying “NCIS!”.  His real estate agent buddy thinks NCIS is a “tacky” real estate firm in the Valley.  Kensi pulls her badge and Vuksan decides to send real estate agent buddy Rexford back to his office.  Before he leaves, Rexford asks if Kensi and Deeks are looking for house.  Deeks asks for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house near the beach.  Rexford has a fixer-upper for $3.7 million.  Kensi and Deeks have shocked faces.  Rexford leaves, Vuksan wants to talk.
As the older woman leaves her house, Callen flashes back to a holiday with her.  They are making cookies with a Christmas tree behind decorations all over the house.  Ms. Wilson is proud of Callen’s cooking-making skills.  He’s likely 12.  Back in the present, he watches her get in her car and drive off.  Callen follows.
In Sam’s car, Hamilton wants to know what’s the plan.  Vander, Sam explains, has made his name by providing protection for illegal shipments throughout LA.  Never lost one.  Hamilton thinks that’s a “lucrative market to have cornered.”  Sam agrees but there is a new young crew – a Korean biker gang – looking to infringe of Vander’s territory.  Hamilton thinks they are going to team up with the crew to go after Vander.  No, Sam tells him, “we’re gonna rob ‘em.”  Hamilton likes it.
Ready to go, Sam is getting geared up as Switch – lots of gold chains, a big gold watch, a black puffer coat – as Hamilton gets into place.
Arriving at their desks, Rountree asks Fatima if she found Ryan Logue.  She has not.  Rountree is holding a football – one he was awarded in college as the game ball.  He is going to put it on his desk.  Fatima thinks it is cute he’s personalizing his workspace.  “Maybe I’m just more sentimental than you.”  Fatima gets a hit on Logue’s ATM card – she maxed out her daily withdrawal limit.  There is a hotel next to the ATM.  Rountree is going to check it out with Castor, Fatima is going to talk to the Admiral about the case.
As members of the Korean gang leave their HQ, Sam as Switch pulls up.  He speaks Korean to the leader – Sang.  Sang wants to do some business with Switch.  Things have changed since Switch left town.  Sam says he knows Sang and his men are moving on Vander’s business.  Thinking Vander is an old man, Sang wants to move on.  Sam doesn’t so he pulls his gun on the four gang members.  The gang members are also armed with pistols.  Hamilton shows up with a much bigger gun than any of them are carrying so Sang orders his men to put their weapons down.   Taking away their ill-gotten games, Sam and Hamilton clean out the gang members.  When Sam and Hamilton leave, the gang members all jump on their motorcycles to follow.  Hamilton chained them all to a wall – nobody is going to follow.
Walking from the mansion, Vuksan explains that he’s done with Omni, he’s opened a new chapter in his life.  Omni gives him contacts and money to buy LA real estate with cash, everything is on the up-and-up according to Vuksan.  When Kensi asks about Bohdan Amantas, Vuksan is evasive until  he admits Amantas is a real estate client looking for two homes.  Deeks asks if Vuksan is supplementing his income by selling military secrets.  Vuksan says he makes far more selling real estate than he ever would selling military secrets.  Kensi and Deeks are enlisting Vuksan to help them find Amantas.
In the Armory (was Hamilton ever in the super-secret office before?  That goes for Herbie too – this place should be on the Hollywood Map of Stars at this point), Sam and Hamilton document their ill-gotten, ill-gotten gains for evidence.  Sam is sure Vander had to hear about the robbery when his phone rings – Vander wants to meet with Switch.
In interrogation, the Admiral relieves Castor as Ryan Logue is sitting on the wrong side of the table.  Rountree remains.  Logue finds being detained ridiculous.  She’s in a hurry to leave. Reviewing a file, the Admiral asks why she checked into a hotel not far from her home.  Claiming her neighbors were doing construction, she wanted to get some sleep.  The Admiral asks if she needed to sleep so much that she didn’t report to work in two-days.  She tells him yes.  Rountree asks why didn’t she contact the office and tell them she was sick. She wasn’t sick, just tired.   She can’t believe she’s been brought in to answer these questions.
Closing the file, the Admiral asks if she’d rather speak about Navy Special Warfare N9 schematics?  Saying there is a lot of physics and engineering involved, Logue doesn’t thinks the Admiral or Rountree did more than state schools with undergrad degrees so she doesn’t think they’ll understand.  Rountree chuckles.  The Admiral stands and tells Logue, “I don’t think this is a day you’re going to remember fondly.”
Hamilton asks about Vander and Sam talks about the good times he had with Vander.  Telling Sam that if Vander was involved in Reid’s death, he needs to know Sam has his back.  Sam does.
The older woman is reading in the park with Callen watching from his car.  Callen once again flashes back to time with Ms. Wilson reading “The Wizard of Oz” to him with a fire going in the fireplace.
As Logue paces around the interrogation room, Rountree asks the Admiral how long are they going to “sweat” her out.  The Admiral says answers a while – Logue is a thinker.  Rountree mentions the FBI has proof she’s been downloading the schematics.  She has but they can talk to her about that down the road.  He’s happy to wait until they have proof she was trying to sell the schematics.  As a thinker, the Admiral thinks Logue is going over everything she said to them to find the perfect answer to her dilemma.  Logue looks into the security camera in interrogation and tells them she’s willing to talk.
Walking down a pier with the drugs stolen from the Korean gang, Sam hears from Hamilton that he’s in the overwatch vehicle in about 30-seconds.  On his boat, Vander sees Switch and welcomes him back to LA – he already heard about the robbery.  Sam as Switch isn’t happy that someone is muscling in on Vander’s territory.  Switch asks permission to come on board the boat – permission is granted.
In the Audi, Vuksan is complaining about what he’s been asked to do – bringing the “Fuzz” to Amantas’s house.  Vuksan could lose his biggest client.  Deeks chuckles at “Fuzz”.  Luskin goes on about his 10-month plan to go legit and Deeks has had enough of his talking.  Kensi thinks that is funny coming from Deeks.  Deeks thinks that’s the point.  Vuksan complains that working with law enforcement is making it harder for  him to go legit.
On the boat, Sam and Vander are sharing some champagne on the top deck of the boat, talking about Switch’s business in Mexico City.  There is a bodyguard nearby Vander and a woman in bikini near the bodyguard.  Vander wants to hear more about Switch’s business and drink some more champagne.
Logue admits to downloading the schematics, which the Admiral says they already have proof of her actions.  Rountree asks Logue how she thinks she’ll survive in federal prison.  She asks what they want?  Bohdan Amantas is the answer.  Crying, Logue says she met Amantas after a night in a sports bar.  He threatened her – if she didn’t steal the schematics, they’d kill her family.  Her only family is her father, who lives in a care facility in Minnesota – Shore Lake - that Logue doesn’t know its address.  Barely knows the name.  As the Admiral leaves, he asks her what game was she watching at the sports bar.  She talks about the Minnesota Wild.
Outside of interrogation, the Admiral knows the Minnesota Wild didn’t play that week.  Checking out Shore Lake, Rountree finds it is a hospice.  Everyone there is already dying.  The Admiral thinks Logue believes she enhanced her story with the details.  She just made it easier to take her story apart.
In a  park, Amantas is sparring with a trainer and two bodyguards watching him.  Kensi, Deeks, Vuksan approach and introduce themselves.  Amantas dismisses his bodyguards and ends Vuksan’s crime-free future by firing him as his real estate agent.  Vuksan is dismissed by Amantas – offering him sushi with the bodyguards - leaving him with just Kensi and Deeks.
Kensi asks Amantas about Ryan Logue.  He doesn’t know why he’d have to answer until Deeks brings up the three homes Amantas has in escrow.  If Amantas doesn’t keep them busy with answers to their questions, they’ll be busy looking to see where Amantas got the money to buy the houses.  Deeks is going to need tax returns for the last three years.
Told that he threatened Logue if she didn’t steal the schematics, Amantas tells a different story.  Logue contacted him, not the other way around.  Amantas’s people shut her down – they don’t do business with people they don’t know.  Kensi and Deeks asks why should they believe Amantas story and not Logue’s?  Asking if NCIS has good computer people – they do – Amantas provides a site on the dark web for them to investigate.  Logue is open for business.  As they’re about to leave, Amantas wants Kensi’s card in case he remembers anything useful.  He gets Deeks’s card instead before Deeks grabs some sushi with Vuksan and the bodyguards.
Laughing and having a good time, Vander wants to do right by Switch for helping with the Korean gang.  Sam asks about the notebook – he wants in.  It would be a big help for his business in Mexico.  Vander is unhappy – he liked Switch, he trusted Switch.  Another bodyguard appears and they pull their weapons on Sam.  Hamilton does not have a shot.
When Vander orders his bodyguards to search Sam, the one who approaches gets knocked out by Sam for his trouble.  The movement allows Hamilton to take out the other bodyguard.  Sam runs after Vander, who went to the lower deck.  Sam approaches Vander, telling him to put the gun down.  Saying that only the police knew he had the book, Vander won’t go down like this.  Sam offers to help while Hamilton tries to get a shot on Vander but can’t.  Vander accuses Sam of being a cop.  Sam tries to warn Vander that there is a sniper waiting for him to move – surrender and he’ll live.  “I loved you like a son, how are you going to do me like that?” Vander asks.  Sam asks Vander to put the gun down again.  Vander walks into Hamilton’s line of sight and raises his gun.  Hamilton makes his shot.
As Vander dies, Sam holds his hands.
Fatima confirms Amantas’s story.  Logue was selling the schematics on the dark web but not having much success.  Thinking that she did the hard part by stealing the schematics, Logue didn’t understand that criminals don’t go into business with people they don’t know.  Deeks wants Fatima to call the Admiral and tell him what is going on.
Asking if NCIS looked after her dad, the Admiral tells Logue they didn’t even try.  Rountree says everything she told them was a lie.  Logue tries to sell being railroaded – this is why everyone hates law enforcement.  The Admiral is pretty sure not everyone hates them.  He also wants her copies of the schematics she stole since she approached Bohdan Amantas not the other way around.  He’s willing to go on the record for that.  Rountree is feeling pretty good about his state university undergraduate degree.
At the docks, Sam watches the EMTs wheel Vander’s body away.  Hamilton says he’s sorry but Sam blames himself for getting so attached to Vander.  Hamilton thinks that’s what makes Sam a human being.  While listing what Vander did  and his plans for taking the names of the dirty feds from the notebook and make them work for him, Hamilton gets a call.  The DoJ found the notebook in Vander’s Tarzana apartment.  Sam admits Vander’s death hurts.  Hamilton understands.
Packing up his gear, Herbie is greeted by the Admiral.  Explaining he can only take LA in 30-hour chunks, he’s is returning to San Diego.  The Admiral agrees.  Herbie is grateful for the opportunity the Admiral offered his new training company.  Herbie has put a lot of his family’s money into getting the company off the ground.  The Admiral stops the thank you’s.  After Ramadi, the Admiral can’t do enough for Herbie.  NCIS will be employing Herbie’s company for all of the agents under the Admiral’s command and the Director plans to roll it out to all offices.  Herbie is thrilled.  The Admiral gives Herbie his Challenge Coin.
At night, Callen is still watching the older woman in her home from his car.  In a flashback, Callen is being removed from Ms. Wilson’s care.  He’s crying.  The man taking young Callen from Ms. Wilson wants him to meet someone – Henrietta.
What head canon can be formed from here:  I’ll stop complaining about the Callen backstory debacle at some point but not today.  Early episodes had Callen moving from place to place sometimes only last a day or two but he blanked out on Ms. Wilson whose kindness and decency would be the thing you think he’d remember.  Earlier this season Callen had memories of a foster father who built furniture and let Callen help but a woman who seemed to genuine care for him is only now a memory.  Feh.
The cases of the week mirrored each other.  Sam as Switch was able to work his way right back into Vander’s trust circle by once again proving his worth.  Logue could not get Amantas to give her a second of his time because there was no trust there.
Episode number:  This is the Munsters episode – 1313 (season 13, episode 13).  It is episode 293 overall.1

i was thinking more about "sex worker" tbh
Oh, OK. Well, the term was coined in 1978, and entered popular use in 1987. I don’t have a month of publication for the anthology credited with popularizing it, but Terrence, as a social worker who works as a de facto liaison to the queer community, would credibly know it. I decided to have him do so specifically to highlight the fact that the past is more complicated than we think.
This actually gets paid off in issue four alongside Molly’s self-references to her transness.

Terrence giggled, holding out his trick or treating bag, "Trick or treat!"
“Hello again lad!!! Here you go, some chocolate coins useful for fending off Rockstar Freddy or equally demanding: a growling stomach! Have a hauntingly happy Halloween!!!”

Why does everyone close their closets?
Keep 'em open, that's how you know whether or not theres something inside. This is a method I, and my family, have coined "Schrodingers Monster", you don't know if something is or isn't in the closet until you've looked into it. So if you leave them open 24/7 where can the monster and/or serial killer hide? By continuously leaving them open the minute you find one closed you know to arm yourself and prepare for a fight or escape. That one serial killer I heard about, Terrence Malroy, would hide in areas like closets and jump his victims while they slept, Can't do that if I respond to a closed Closet door by assaulting it with a blunt force weapon.

BL Round-Up #4
I wanted to get one of these out before the wave of weekend shows aired since we have the premiere of My Only 12% and The Eclipse.
As before, I’ll go in my order of ratings.
Minato Shouji Coin Laundry aka Minato’s Laundromat (GagaOOlala) 10 - We’re up to episode 7 now, and I like Shin’s forward nature so much. Now that he’s 18, Minato doesn’t have that as a potential objection anymore. As such, Shin asked for what he wanted. It was such a big moment that Minato didn’t even advertise the laundromat heading into next week.
I love that Shin has the love and admiration of his siblings, and the fact that he’s basically raised his siblings adds another dynamic to his character. He’s been carrying a major set of responsibilities for a long time in a way that I don’t think Minato has. I still don’t think I want them to be together now, and am curious how Minato will convince Shin to let him go.
Additionally, loving the crumbs of Asuka and Shuu. I have no idea what will happen there, but as someone who has worked with young people a lot throughout my life I feel for Shuu the most. This many kids sniffing around you can be deeply troubling.
Gameboys 2 (GagaOOlala via VPN) 9.5 - I actually held off writing this until we moved past the content with Aunt Susan because of how explicitly vile she is. I was chatting with a friend about the family politics, because I am convinced that Aunt Susan resents Gav’s grandmother for leaving all of her wealth to Gav. I think she wants Gav to go to America so she can take over the house and his rentals. Unlike with the Gameboys movie, I’m relieved that we’ve had time for Terrence and Wesley to get more development. These guys are really young, and I am regularly reminded of that because of the things they feel. Everything is so raw and new for them.
We finally reached the Gav breakdown. I don’t like to see the characters suffer, but I do love when the sunshine character breaks and the grumpy one has to care for them. Very excited about the fight between Achilles and Wesley next week!
21 Days Theory (Rookie Thailand YouTube) 8.5 - FINALLY! A spiritual successor to Make It Right that looks good (sideeyes Thank God It’s Friday). I have said I’m over school set shows and this show arrived to call me a liar! I love it! I love that X knows how adults perceive him and actively uses that to manipulate adults. This looks like it’s going to be messy the way only high school boys can be and I am totally here for it. Like @absolutebl, I will never apologize for my love of Make It Right.
Coffee Melody (Viki) 8.5 - I did not like Duen Yi this week, but I like that the narrative thus far seems to know that he’s a spoiled brat with little regard for others. Plengruk has made his attitude about starting a relationship clear from the beginning, and it was so wrong to call him selfish for not wanting to give more than he has already offered. I don’t care how good the dick game is; Plengruk has not misled Duen Yi once. I need to see Duen Yi apologize to Plengruk.
Not sure what’s going on long-term for the boy with the pink hair. Hoping we pick up with the scene in the family home next week, because I want to see how the parents treat Ai after this confrontation.
Papa & Daddy Season 2 (Gaga) 8.5 - My domestic gays are back and it’s such a mess! I’m not enjoying the way Jimmy and Kate have forced Damien and Jerry back into the closet, but I do like that there’s a complexity to it all. It is also deeply sad that they forced Kai to participate in this. I am enjoying myself, however, because I love blended family stories. Jimmy and Jerry connecting is everything for me, but I do feel bad for Kate that she flew all the way to Taiwan to get rejected by her son (who she has raised alone this whole time). Not looking forward to Jerry’s parents pushing him to have a biological child soon.
I am always advocating for people to watch What Did You Eat Yesterday? and am so glad Taiwan took their own crack at long-term domesticity as the leader of gay marriage.
Vice Versa (GMMTV YouTube) 8.5 - I am struggling with Puen, because so much of him feels artificial. I don’t think he fully appreciates how seriously Talay takes their responsibility to the bodies and lives they’re currently occupying. I sometimes think the show is doing a disservice to Talay because we haven’t seen Ohm and Nanon in a while. How can we root for these guys to have intimate moments when they aren’t in their real bodies? At what point do we accept that this is now their bodies? It’s an unexpected turn. I did not expect this to join Minato’s Laundromat in making me want the leads to NOT engage in intimacy at this time.
Love Mechanics (WeTV) 8 - I have said mess really isn’t my thing. While I didn’t hate Mark teaming up with his ex to push Vee away, I continue to lament how long this show is. I just think that with Japan and Korea doing so much with 25-30 minutes, these slow-paced Thai shows aren’t going to do it for me as much anymore.
War of Y (AIS Play Youtube $$) 8 - I have conflicted feelings about Billy and Seng being paired in this show, but I am glad that Seng gets to play a character under so much social media scrutiny. He’s received unkind comments online for years, and it’s interesting that he’s playing back-to-back character suffering under the weight of public expectation. Surprise appearing in the show was unexpected, and it illicit immediate strong feelings about how flimsy most BL ships actually are, what with his character being immediately paired with Pharaoh.
I’m not taking this frustration out on my rating, but I do think I’m going to possibly drop this show because of the subtitles situation. There is just too much critical information being delivered via untranslated text for me to fully enjoy the experience.
Senpai, This Can’t Be Love! (Gaga or Viki) 7 - This show really let me down in episode 7. I’ve already been frustrated with the weird motion issues I’m having on my TV with this show on Gaga and Viki, and then they totally botch the year apart for me. I hate that these two clearly haven’t spoken in a year, and it really just killed the vibe. I’ll be relieved when this wraps tomorrow, and I hope that Takara-kun to Amagi-kun is better next week.
On Cloud 9 (Mind Trio YouTube) 5 - I’m dropping this. I love atmospheric and moody BL, but I need a plot or theme to follow.
Not BL
I feel like there’s a lot here to cover.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo (Netflix) 10 - I continue to have a great time with this show, and am still here with the current conflicts. I feel like I talk to @kyr-kun-chan about this show almost every day now. I’m actually kinda sad that it’s ending next week.
Kingdom (Netflix) 10 - I watched both seasons and the movie. This was such a great experience. I don’t know that the Game of Thrones comparison is necessarily a great one, but this has been the best use of zombies I’ve seen in a long time. The ending of the second season was so unexpected for me that I will be forever disappointed if we don’t follow up on this show.
The Silent Sea (Netflix) 9 - I really miss this kind of narrow sci-fi. I loved all of the ideas just thrown at the wall of this show and how earnestly everyone played their roles. Everyone understood that sci-fi characters are archetypes that stand in for various social commentary and fully leaned in. Also, Gong Yoo is just so fine. I will continue to watch the Bae Doona shows on Netflix.
The Sandman (Netflix) 8 - I’m not a Gaiman fan, but I do like his ideas around anthropomorphizing concepts into people. I’m about two episodes in, but have been too busy to really commit more time. It’s intriguing to watch, but I’m not gripped.

"why do men have the emotional intelligence of a flea" well, the short answer is society.
and unfortunately, the long answer is that society develops and raises boys to reject their vulnerability and feelings of intimacy at a young age, ultimately leaving them unable to process their emotions in a healthy way and generally leaves them battling an unseen and quiet depression typically inherited from their own fathers that usually manifests and presents itself in the forms of alcohol abuse, drug abuse, narcissism, grandiosity/overcompensation, or workaholism, among other common traits in men often overlooked or dismissed from being related to said depression.

Terry Silver x Reader
Tumblr media
A gift for lovely @terrence-silver Tags: Fluff, Gender Neutral Reader, poorsona!Terry ♡ ♡ ♡ You were never part of his plan. You were never part of the game that Terry had laid out with nothing but finesse and tactical superiority. He should have done the absolute minimum to keep up his humble dojo owner role, or poorsona he coined with reverential glee. This meant of course that he would greet you occasionally or smile politely whenever you found yourself in his proximity and came back to your apartment, which was positioned directly above the dojo.
That was all he had to do. Keep up the appearance. Smile. Wave. Let you live your little life and ensure that it never affected his plan. And it never did. Yet for some reason it irked him, how you never tried to initiate conversation, or give the first polite smile, that was always him, taking the lead, smiling first, waving first, saying good morning first. He found himself purposefully seeking you out, unable to keep his curiosities at bay. You were cautious. Particularly so. He almost considered that his acting skills were getting rusty, but he soon realised that the wariness was all you. When he asked you out for a coffee for the first time, you thought he was joking. Terry knew full well the effects of his appearance, of his beauty and of his physique. The poorsona gave him the opportunity to mitigate the full force of it by his slouching, by his humble clothing, by the way he would shape his expression and his lips into something of an every day Joe. But it wasn't enough for you. He had to. . .he had to work for you and for your attention. For so long it had always been the other way around, where he had to dismiss people who sought him out, reject those who would continually make their advances at him. And it wasn't just that. You were. . .so contained, so focused on keeping inside your little world and not taking a step out of place. Terry's interests reached across oceans and nations and here you were, worrying that he was going to get sick because it was drizzling outside. He was staring at the wall, in your apartment, while he sat on your cheap, old sofa as you bundled him with a blanket before hurrying off to make him some coffee. By the sound of your footsteps, you must have tripped a little as you rushed to fetch him a warm drink. Is that what you wanted to do for him? Take care of him? Or was this what you did for everyone? Over the span of several weeks, he found out what the answer was. You were of course kind and considerate to others, more so than any other person he had encountered, but to him you showed. . .dedication, there was a constancy of your awareness to his needs and his wants and his potential needs and his potential wants. It was almost like you were one of his employees, one of his people, yet he didn't pay you a cent. No. . .you wanted this. You. . .cared about him. Aside from John, the last person that actually cared about him was his mother, and neither she nor John gave him the attention you did. It was addictive, watching you fuss over him. He watched while you cooked for him in your tiny kitchen, diligently making sure that Terry was eating well. He found himself picturing you while he was sitting at another investor meeting. The deal they were talking about was for a $20 million expansion into South East Asia, and yet, he could barely listen to a word. It meant nothing compared to the thought of you cooking for him in his mansion, in one of the adequately sized and appropriately stocked kitchens. He imagined you lounging in the gardens by the lemon trees as you basked in the sun, he wanted to. . .he wanted to personally fetch you a ice cold drink and he could picture you smiling at him with gratitude. You, of course, would then offer him the first sip, because you couldn't help yourself. He kept fantasising about your compact little world and putting it directly into his. He could give you everything you'd ever need, and everything you never thought you needed. You would never want for anything. He would make sure you were safe, always, that no one would hurt you, because no one would ever hurt what was his, what belonged to him. And oh. . .how you belonged to him.
