I haven't had time to do a lot of art ever since I started college and it occupies a good deal of time. That combined with me relying entirely on the bus which takes 2 hours to and back, i'm left with very little time. In those hours on the bus tho i've picked up rereading the entirety of TIWWAN and catching up on chapters i've missed! (they KISSED!!! OMFG!!!!)

When I started reading this book, I think the latest chapter was Chap 63? I stuck around for a few more chapter updates but then I kinda dropped off the face of the earth lmao. Like I said tho! Picked up again recently, read the whole book start to finish, catching up and now i'm all caught up!! I've loved this book for literal years! Before I had an ao3 account even! I just thought it was so cool to see it still being updated, it sure makes my long bus rides more enjoyable!

I know TF2 is like, a competitive shooter game really so it kinda cultivates this aura of a toxic gamer fanbase, and I can understand that I definitely thought that and I know there's people on there that are like that from my friends experiences but man.

TF2 is cute. TF2 is fucking adorable. You hop onto a match on tf2 and there are people doing little dances with their teammates and you can do silly emotes and you say cute silly voice lines and you can get cute gear and cosmetics and man. It's just really nice. I've only been playing for like a week and I've had so many just, nice cute game experiences.

While playing CTF I took the enemy intelligence and had a convey of like 6 people following me to protect me (It was community server so it was big). While playing Payload I stayed by the cart while it was back-rolling to protect the area while 2 medics healed me and ubercharged me. I was playing Payload today and I stayed near a corner on the end of the map protecting the last checkpoint and a medic was back and forth healing me and ubercharging me and an engineer came over and built me a dispenser and just. Gwah. TF2 makes you feel like the specialist little guy ever sometimes and it's really nice.

it does make me so mad that tf2 just wont get a major update ever again. i know that classes were internally split up between generalist and specialist but i always wanted stuff to generalize at least a little bit cause like spy and heavy have 1 singular playstyle cause all heavy primaries are slightly different variations on minigun and all spy loadouts play 80% the same cause you just decloak behind the enemy get a stab and get out. heavy with a riot shield that makes him move soldier walkspeed. spy with a gun or knife or cloak that incentivizes shooting people with your gun. engie with a revolver. sniper with a garand. medic with no medigun but he's got lucio heals. we will get none of this because valve doesnt want the baggage of adding a new thing and having to balance it after hence why diamondback and scorch shot are unchanged

Ofc, i had to submit my boy Pepe, my first ever tf2 oc, to @tf2shipswag 's oc tourney

Now who is Pepe exactly? Well he is the Mexican Variant of Tf2's Soldier. Hes basically the soldier but if he died down on the craziness by a notch.

Pepe came from a loadout I would use while playing tf2 (El zapateador, party poncho, and the cuban bristle crisis). I loved the loadout so much that he became my soldier oc, and he stuck around. He has went through some design changes, but overall, classic is better.

Pepe was born in Tijuana Mexico, and is bilingual, as he had to learn english when transferring to Mann Co. Unlike the soldier, he did serve in the military, and was a Demolitions Specialist. So when he heard about a soldier position that shoots rocket launchers, he ofc had to say yes. He has a locket that he wears, that has a picture of his wife and kids, which he hopes to see again after the war

Overall, hes a silly goober, serious when needs to be, and an awesome person to hang out (man can grill up the best carne azada you have ever had)

I hope yall enjoy his design, and best of luck to everyone else's ocs

No. Heavy is a specialist class, that is most effective at area denial and has high close-distance dps. An invader should be able to adapt to any situation, at any range. Heavy is simply not suited for invading.

He would be good at coop, though.

idk much about tf2 lore so gimmie like your fave scout lore-bits

scout tf2 canonically is gods specialist little boy who he personally crafted as a gift to all women for his awesome sex ability and was so upset that scout was a virgin when he died that god was gonna do a second flood or other method of world destruction. God only didn't do that because scout convinced god that he should be revived so he can go have tons of fantastic sex. This is literally canon and not just a death hallucination because scout is literally miraculously revived from the dead after this encounter without any outside healing force interacting with him.

he's favourite musician is tom jones to the point he had a misspelled sex bom tattoo on his chest with tom jones face and he literally thinks tom jones is his father. Soldier canonically killed tom jones

he's also really good at drawing cars and cannot read for shit (dyslexia adhd kinggg)

oh and he also can just literally double jump because hes such a good runner. which isn't really a lore thing but i think is really funny to think about
