Baby Blue is KLS representation (I think) how cool. It's a very rare condition where people get so tired all of the time and will be asleep from weeks to months basically. Her way with living and coping with her illness has made Medicine Pocket a lot less morbid about their own condition and enjoy life more.

Baby Blue is more calm while Medicine Pocket is more limbic. Even though Baby Blue struggles between reality and her unending dreams, she has sleep-talked Medicine Pocket out of doing all kinds of awful things to themselves by slowly repeating back their answer to 'what are you doing'. Medicine Pocket wants to be someone she can depend on; they are more careful and steady when thinking of Baby Blue

Medicine Pocket, in turn, keeps Baby Blue safe when she is unaware of her surroundings. It was really crude at first but after they figured out it was impossible to change her condition they became more protective rather than bothered by the constant dreaming.

Baby Blue has a hundred nicknames/petnames for them. Medicine Pocket isn't confident with coming up with these names but she gets so happy whenever they come up with a new one. Blue's favorite name for them is 'Puppy'.

very wholesome..... Baby Blue requires Medicine Pocket to sleep with her for at least 6 hours a day. She can be little a clingy when Medicine Pocket comes home.

OK I CAN IMAGINE BABY BLUE CALLING THEM PUPPY IN THE SWEETEST SOFTEST SLEEPY VOICE EVER FULL OF GENTLE LOVE AND ADORATION… IM GONNA CRYYYYY AND MELT AND EXPLODE… Mental support Baby Blue is real (both in a meta and metaphorical sense).

I also like how she’s, in her own way, helping to keep the researcher in check. Someone has to keep her safe, therefore they also should keep themself safe so that they can be there for her. Yes, they love their job and the delightful dangers it brings with it. But they also have a person dear to them waiting for them. Also, in my headcanon, Medicine Pocket shelters a lot of supposed-to-be-experiment dogs at Laplace so they got to get it together for their pups, too (I imagine Baby Blue napping together with their puppies at the Laplace fields occasionally… Puppy tea party… Somft…). They want to take care of her and their pups, be dependable, and protect them. They used to think that this protection comes at the cost of their own wellbeing but NUH UH. Baby Blue's presence and words remind them that there are dangerous thresholds that they don't need to cross, no matter how 'logical' it seems.

She wants them to sleep with her an adequate amount of hours, therefore they cannot fuck up their sleep schedule by pulling impulsive all-nighters (I’m guilty of this too whoops). These two would get! Cozy! And Baby Blue would softly sleeptalk nonsensical but calming tales from her wonderland to help them sleep. I assume bedtime stories aren’t a very common thing in their childhood, especially when they got taken away with the beagles. So Baby Blue's whimsical, imaginative antics would be like taking back tiny but meaningful pieces of their lost childhood, stolen by a life of cold, clinical, and dangerous research. After they started sleeping with Baby Blue, her warmth and comforting stories allowed the researcher to get not only much-needed sleep, but also sating a yearning. On Baby Blue, a lot of people likely gave up on her. Doctor after doctor after doctor shook their heads and raised their hands after examining her condition. Teachers, friends, and even strangers are bewildered by her, calling her crazy, and treating her as more of a 'case study' or 'phenomenon' than an actual person. Those who did stick around her for a while couldn't stand her constant dreamings and tendencies to isolate, they either took it to heart or found themselves drifting away from her. It took her a while but she convinced herself that she was used to it, wonderland and its dwellers were her true friends after all. But at the same time, I feel like she would still realize that she's living in two worlds, and recognizes her loneliness in one of them. She tried to not think about it for a while but it likely bit at her some nights. Medicine Pocket may be the only doctor insistent enough to stick with her for longer than many others before them thanks to their stubbornness and curiosity. That's enough to get her attached to them, to say the least.

AAAAAAGH HAPPY BIRTHDAY

IM A BIT LATE TO THE PARTY BUT I HAVE COME WITH GIFTS ANYWAY!!! HERE ARE SOME SERENNEDY AND LUIS HEADCANONS FOR YOU GOOD SIR!!!:

- Leon was an Axe Body Spray type of dude before him and Luis became a couple. And I mean the type that over OVER uses the cheap mens body spray like its a shower in a can. Luis got him on the good stuff and taught him how to properly use fragrance when they got together, I HC a good cologne was one of Luis' first gifts to Leon. And Leon took small offense initially but inevitably ended up extremely grateful for it. Still uses a heavy hand with the fragrance tho out of habit.

- I also headcanon that Luis taught Leon how to dance, almost as sort of a trust exercise. We know Leon has trust issues and Luis is 100% the type who addresses those things with compassion and some unconventionality. Dancing with a partner requires a lot of trust in your partner and allowing oneself to kind of let loose.

- Leon has control of the aux cord like 80% of the time (oh no) and ended up getting Luis into late 90's early 2000's grunge.

- Luis definitely has a love for music in general. And he can definitely play guitar.

- I also HC that he LOVES singing. But isnt conventionally that good at it. He's never had any sort of like, professional practice. Pre-T he sung a lot but with T related voice changes he got out of practice and sort of fell out of it with the stresses of his life. Post Valdelobos, he picked it back up, and he really only did it for fun and to tease Leon. Leon is the type who gets second-hand embarassment easily and especially when hearing people sing badly around him. So, naturally, Luis sings a lot while doing tasks. Sings insults at him. Playfully serenades him and Leon pretends to be annoyed with it but actually just really likes hearing him sing and knows Luis will do it more if he pretends to be bothered.

-But, the longer he does this he actually does start to improve since he's actually getting practice. And I HC Luis' voice as being kind of raspy, the type of voice that cuts out on a lot of notes or words from lack of practice. And its always out of tune when he's messing around. But on the occasion he is really trying, his voice is soft while maintaining that sort raspiness and carries emotion really well. He's an excellent lullaby singer.

-Luis knows how to sew and tailor from maintaining his clothes, self taught purely for the sake of keeping the drip.

-THIS IS SO RANDOM BUT I HC HE ALSO USES SHOULDER PADDING?? and like if the clothes he gets dont come with it hES ADDING IT. IDK THAT JUST SEEMS VERY HIM.

ok uh. ffxiv fanfest thoughts nobody asked for that i can put here anyways bc its my blog. put under a read more just in case folks dont want spoilers

-i forever and always stan thancred's cockblocking nutkin. i just hope he actually gives it a name this time. he cant see his daughter yet and has empty nest syndrome so he adopted nutkin proper. crying -the only scions on the key art are krile, urianger, and thancred. and so my guess is that they'll be on our team for whatever "clash" we're gonna have. other scions will have their own team. which i am, of course, happy for. id cry to be separated from my bf -femhroth look good, i wish their snouts were a little fuller and looked a bit more proper furry, but what we have now is fine. im glad theyre stocky and muscular and not lithe and dainty. definitely making an alt for one -saw what looked to be an ascian symbol on the 8 man raid promo art and saw someone mention it kinda looks like altima, who governed the arts in the convocation. that will be really interesting if thats the case bc altima has lore in my headcanon and katsu meeting them will be... something. -im really glad we have more options for au ra eyes, i really like the brght inner eyes. hopefully the same change will extend to limbal rings. the other graphics options look great

-GOOD GOD am i glad that the second dye slots will probably be metal, because there are so many pieces i dont like using bc theyre exclusively silver while katsu's a gold kinda guy. very happy about that

-definitely picking up pictomancer since katsu has been an artist for a while. not going to use it mid-MSQ, probably, gonna leave that for krile, but maybe he'll learn it from her post MSQ. it will be my first proper casting class (aside from BLU) so thatll be fun :)

-i still have my post ARR fantasia so if i really wanted, i could use the free one theyre giving us in 7.0 and change back to katsu after...... much to think about. i am not decided though

i think as of strive hes trying to be a little more gentle with himself before sleep. actually nestling down his stuff and tucking himself in and everything. I do not think he did that before. i think he slept on the ground and felt bad about anything else unless it was his rinky dink clinic that got burnt down in ggx.

– Sleeping habits headcanons

pre strive: doesnt sleep a lot, usually only out of exhaustion. wants to fall asleep as FAST as he can (fainting is good for this) because he doesnt like being alone w/his thoughts before it happens. nightmares flare up randomly but are better around xx.

post strive: likes big, fluffy nonsense and is getting better at admitting this to himself. loves soft and silky textures so at the very least hes buying a nice blanket to carry around. trying to follow his own sleep advice, but does often find himself lacking still. sleeping habits are just things that are hard to fix.

all the time: man sleeps like an Embryo. his back is so unbelievably fucked up from everything, whether it be his build or his posture, and his sleep is definitely a big wedge. hes as stiff as a rock when he sleeps.

– First thing after waking up headcanons

pre strive: guy who hypes himself up by saying "keep going bitch!" in different accents in the mirror and one day its gonna work. basically just gets dressed, sorts his supplies and gets on his way for another exciting day of Earth

post strive: gets himself a little more leg room, maybe some actual breakfast. its easier to sleep and be comfortable in a bed when you are in a nice place and/or have sleeping clothes and dont wear your dress pants and shirt to bed (xrd).

all the time: he has comical striped old man pajamas with the bauble hat and everything but they only seem to be on when its funny for him to have them. hes an enigma. guy who sleeps in boxers and a big shirt when applicable tho.

– Favorite locations headcanon

faust loves the world AND the people in it, but in my head i always think of him with like. a specific attraction to festivals. maybe its like. this old fanart i saw of him just towering over a traditional festival ground and having all the lights reflecting on him, but i think those kinds of energetic spaces would both compliment his silliness and also give him an opportunity for stillness, in that he can let the world around him keep spinning and laughing and for once, simply bask in it. that kinda stuff.

Hello i have more two wuv headcannons :) this time it's how well the freaks can see (idk why i just thought of this) zubin- Because zube's hair is always covering his eyes he can't rlly see, so he relies on hearing a lot more. he can tell who's walking into/out of a room just by the sound their footsteps make. sometimes he parts his hair over one eye so he can look at ppl, especially meeting them for the first time (like seeing random ppl in the forest). sometimes his hair pokes his eyes so he has to brush it out the way before it inevitably falls back (i had a fringe that was exactly like this it sucked) joe- since half of joe's face is burned and he can't see out of one eye he uses glasses (those tiny oval ones in like, every photo ever) to help his normal eye work better. the normal eye is still a little bit fuzzy due to the burns, but the glasses cover that. rob- he's always crying so even when he isn't his eyes are all cloudy and wet. he wears his glasses but they don't do much due to how much he cries, and how cracked they are. andrew- andy lives in the forest like 99% of the time so he's gotten really used to the dark, to the point where he can see better when it's dark than light (basically semi-nightvision). he's developed a sensitivity to bright light so he wears a pair of stolen sunglasses if he's ever somewhere too bright (like if someone shone [is shone the right word? im in extended english i should know this] a flashlight near him) ross- since we still havent gotten any ross lore >:( (/j) i dont have much to work off of. im just gonna say he can see normally, just a little fuzzy due to injuries bora- also dont have much to work off. he has the best eyesight out of everyone. he pays reaaallly close attention to things. mostly his rats. (he can tell all of them apart by their fur, but he gives them little fabric bows or something so everyone knows which ones which) casey- i think in an older post (i think it was that fic someone wrote i forgor who) it mentioned casey falling and hitting his eye on a rock. so that eye is either completely or mostly blind. he wears an eyepatch over it bcs he finds it cool and practical. candi made him do a pirate voice while he was wearing it and that was one of few happy moments these freaky little guys have. its now a running joke between them steve- i think it was the first post/ask w him in it where the asker mentioned he could dilate his pupils like a cat so screw it. his eyes are exactly like cats. everyone thinks its cool and steve just nods cause he doesnt speak. candi- i think i already mentioned it but because of the scar over her eyes, everythings slightly blurry for her. she struggles with objects that are too far away, but it's nothing too severe. she's probably tried out the other's glasses/stolen ones from people in the forest and they might help a bit. but she doesnt want to take them when the others need them so she doesnt wear glasses (she probably put a pair of glasses on and was like. "wait why is everything in hd?")

AAAAAH YES ! need more headcanons about them that's just. Mundane stuff like this I adore it.

Shone is the right word!! Andrew would absolutely be sensitive to light, he'd hiss like a cat if some random hiker flashed a flashlight in his direction, or even getting near a campfire hurts his eyes. I love the idea of him having some sunglasses so he can explore brighter areas with campfires/lights :>

Realizes he's aromantic asexual in middle school. Everyone else was going on about romance and dating and all that other stuff, and all he cared about was science.

Was the one lecturing people in elementary school about why certain super powers can't be real and crushed the hopes and dreams of those wanting lazer vision

Would secretly leave Taiju money or other things he needed but pretended he had no idea where they came from

Since hes the definition of aroace, his gaydar is never wrong

Tried to figure out if he could turn himself into a robot as a kid, it did not work

Speaking of robots, he had robot pj's up until he was 11 in which he traded them for science ones

His experiments would make stay up late into the night, so naturally, he developed a taste for energy drinks.

At night he will sometimes think of Byakuya and remember all the memories he has with his dad, he might try to act like the man was embarrassing and all, but deep down hes a kid who never got to say goodbye to his dad

The only two people he can fully confide in are Taiju and Yuzuirha

While its common for kids who are adopted to want to know about their biological parents, he doesnt. He had Byakuya after all, and Byakuya is his dad, nothing else matters.

Hope you like them. Senku is a very fun character to make headcanons for.

First of all, fuck off with the R word here, its an outdated and harmful term thats rooted in Ableism. Secondly i was going to ignore this and delete it when i saw the first line but then you also decided to insult me so you know enjoy getting your ass handed to you.

But whats wrong with noticing that certain characters in Dr.STONE are ASD coded? Like everyone accepts that Ryusui has ADHD but being autistic is something bad right? News Flash it isnt. Also show me where in the manga that Sai and Yuzuriha dont show traits of autism? i feel explaining to you would be a waste of energy but just know this is only going to make my post on it even longer cause holy fuck the beginning will now have a rant about people like you. Do me a favor and never send an ask here again and kindly fuck off.

Also this comment really pissed me off and i was going to focus on just Sai and Yuzuriha but now im gonna add Magma,Senku and Ruri to this as well cause ive also been seeing them as ASD coded but have been keeping that to myself.

Ok but i really need to know what people have against aroace characters? Like theres nothing wrong with any character being aroace but for some reason it just causes others to be so upset and for what? Ive seen it with mostly One Piece and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Luckily havent seen it as much with Dr.STONE or at least on tumblr. The number of people ive blocked on tiktok for getting upset about Senku being CANONICALLY aroace is ridiculous. But yeah can someone just explain this to me? Cause aroace exist and we do deserve to have our representation in media and not in the "oh im rude because im aroace and thats my only personality" way. But in a way where we ardnt dehumanized for not feeling romantic or sexual attraction.

I happened upon your blog a while back and followed when I started getting hardcore Naruto obsessed (specifically, I’m a total Shika simp), and I really love your writing :) I was wondering if I could request some fluffy dad!Shikamaru content throughout his s/o’s pregnancy and labor/delivery and being an emotional mess upon meeting his baby for the first time. when you first tell him you’re expecting he experiences a split second of panic. a baby?! aren’t they like, a lot of work? that’s not really his thing

but once the initial surprise wears off and he starts picturing your little family — lazy mornings with another tiny person snuggled up between the two of you… the idea doesn’t seem too troublesome after all

so he wraps you up into his arms, squeezing you tight as he chuckles, “well changing diapers is gonna be a drag,” he pauses to place a soft kiss on your lips, “but there’s no one else I’d rather start a family with.”

shikamaru would be the most calming person to be around during your pregnancy. he’s so patient with your mood swings and always manages to stay calm when you’re stressing about the babies arrival

he leaves most of the planning to you, you’re just better at that stuff he says, and lbr he’s probably right. you know he’ll be a dedicated father but picking out nursery colours is certainly not his forte

gets a lil embarrassed when people congratulate him on the pregnancy or ask about baby names and things like that. “ask (y/n)” becomes his new catchphrase

underneath all those sighs and bashful looks though, he’s just as excited as you and your friends. he knows it’s silly but he can’t wait to teach the little one shogi

would always be there to massage your feet and order fast food for your weird cravings! honestly anything to keep you happy and calm amidst all the pregnancy hormones, he’s a bit scared of the screaming and/or crying that might ensue otherwise

the big day finally comes and he feels 100% out of place in the delivery room. the fact that he can’t do anything, just the unpredictability of it all, it drives him wild. He’ll put on a brave face for you though, he knows he needs to stay calm for you

(he’s working on his breathing just as hard as you but plays it off like he’s just coaching you through it)

and then when it’s finally over, and everything is calm again, they ask him if he wants to hold his child and his whole world stops for the second time in his life since he met you

he thought he understood Asuma’s last words; that the king was really the next generation, but looking at down at this beautiful person that you made together, so healthy and innocent and perfect - it takes on a whole new meaning

so he cries. for the first time since his sensei’s death, but this time they’re tears of joy, of just pure disbelief that he could have ever made something so precious… it must’ve been you, he thinks as he looks up you, too happy to even be embarrassed by the tears that are falling down his cheeks

might complain a bit, but he puts in his fair share of work, often getting up in the middle of the night to soothe the crying baby so you can get some much needed rest

early morning cuddles with the three of you are a regular occurrence.

i think shikamaru would really start to shine as a father once the baby period is over, he’d spend time playing with them and teaching them everything he knows

he has a habit of dozing off while he reads bedtime stories. you’ve found him on more than one occasion snuggled up beside your little one in their small, plastic bed, their picture book from the night still laying on his chest.

and you know he’ll moan about how sore his neck is the next day if you don’t wake him and bring him to bed with you, but the moment is just too sweet, too endearing to end that soon, so you’ll wait just a minute or two longer before leaning over Shikamaru’s sleeping form and whispering, “you did it again,” to which he’ll scoff and say he just had a long day, but you know the truth

like his own father he’s a bit awkward when it comes to parental affection but he does his best, and he’s always there to give your child advice or get their mind of things with an afternoon of cloud watching

Shikamaru might be a lazy guy but he would do anything for his family, 10/10 amazing father
