John Constantine was the biggest headache Danny had managed to get, ever. After becoming King he did not think that his first task would be to solve the man's soul problems.
And it seemed quite incredible to him that the hellbazer would consider selling his soul as if it were a used car that he wants to get rid of to buy a new one. He was aware that he needed a soul, wasn't he? That it was not possible to buy a new one? Because he didn't want to be the one to inform him if that was not the case.
To top it off, beings from different domains within his kingdom came explicitly to claim the British's soul, which didn't even make sense, there were thousands of souls! Why did everyone want the same one? And why did he have to be the one to take care of it?
Completely frustrated, he placed all the paperwork for John Constantine in an empty room and locked the door. He smiled as he came up with a plan to improve the situation, it might be worth it.
That's how a drunk John Constantine found himself signing a dubious contract in exchange for the power to turn any liquid into beer, he didn't bother to read the contract, most demons just wanted his soul and this guy looked so human, with a presence so light it must be a minor demon for sure.
This turned out to be a bad decision when the next morning he found himself trapped in a room full of documents, the door locked. Taped to the door was a green note that said "Enjoy doing your own paperwork sir, I hope you're pleased with yourself", and well, maybe he should have read that contract after all.
You know what's interesting to watch is that I feel like a lot of people have very thoughtfully and maturely moved away from "I don't like this specific character/ship/fictional work and here's a reason why it's problematic" but we still have a lot of "if you don't like this specific character/ship/fictional it's problematic" floating around (and the more extreme example, "everyone who dislikes this one specific thing is a bigot") and the latter is actually way dumber. Like, it is valid, in fact, to dislike a specific work because it has unfortunate implications; the issue is just that analysis cannot simply stop there. It is rather less valid to say "if you don't like this one specific female character you are a misogynist;" that definitely requires a lot of more involved analysis into what specifically their criticisms are, patterns in their preferences, and even then, you are only basing this on internet mannerisms; I think someone who has no favorite characters who are women is unlikely to be deeply involved in feminist causes irl, but this is technically possible, and it's very easy to find the reverse case of people who are terrible to real women and champion fictional ones.
"their relationship is romantic" "their relationship is familial" "their relationship is platonic" you're thinking too narrow. their relationship goes beyond labels. the family is inherently queer. their platonic love is romantic. the erotic is familial. each one is the other and the other is them
I hate how you can't talk about your headcanons or hypotheticals for Gina and Collette after Decay without someone interjecting with, "Erm actually Gina is dead so-" Shut uuupppp!!!!!!! The way people will just accept anything is canon no matter how questionable the source is is so frustrating. You're saying there's NO conceivable way Gina could be alive because *checks notes* Randy Pitchford made a tweet responding to someone's question about Gina's model being used in Opossing Force as a dead body on Xen. A game that came out before Gina's playable appearance in Decay. Where she isn't even wearing the same HEV suit.
Seriously, why are we letting tweets made YEARS after the fact have the same level of relevancy and importance as the games themselves.
SLAMS DOWN DOOR SCOTT PILGRIM THE GAME WAS DISTRIBUTED BY UBISOFT AND NO ONE TOLD ME????
does that mean canonically america is jus cyberpunk capitalist dystopia you can jus walk into canada and then immediately get hit with
Also the reason I don't bother to post or reblog about real life happenings is because most of you are unhinged, don't know what anything actually means, just go with things you hear, and assume the worst of everything and everyone.
hey heads up !!! if any of u guys post tcm art, pls b wary of this person. they have reposted a very hefty amount of my mutuals (+ other artists tcmg fanart) uncredited, from both here and other platforms. they downright refused to take down the art i had drawn for a commission, along with their other posts, with the only explanation they had being that they had “no time” to credit anyone in their posts 🤦🏻♂️
i tried to explain to them how this was disrespectful calmly, they refused to not do it— so i called them out publicly, and then they blocked me 💀💀💀
With the base skin Ramattra orb I made recently, I figured... what's stopping me from sculpting more of them?
So here's another one :P Poseidon skin this time. It was made quicker than the OG but it looks even more like a mess than the first one, ooops. Probably has to do with the black color hiding the imperfections better...
Not really
Jeremy no longer has a set home, so he can go anywhere, he's only in the D.C Capital cause he's only recently left his vault and has only made his travels as far as Megaton. He will eventually travel to the other states, after all he has a certain Mr. Deegan hat to snatch.
He's a lil Lone Wanderer
