going to start recommending music on my art blog instead of doing art for my art blog. three albums tonight, enjoy (or don’t idc):

Birth of Paul by Koraii. i just really like koraii. it’s nice and mysterious but also really relaxing at times. big fan. this is actually my first time listening to it but it inspired me to post on tumblr so that’s something. no specific track to recommend since they’re all good. Paranomia and Heat Death are pretty tasty tho

Reality Distortion by Camellia and Akira Complex. listening to Akira Complex makes me sad but their music is really good. and paired with the goat Camellia, of course it’s even better. lots of high energy tracks, i love World Collapse and In Black & White. also lapix’s remix of Reality Distortion (the song) is really fun.

Retrograde by Crown the Empire. if you go to youtube and read the comments on these songs, lots of people are mad that this album isn’t as heavy as CTE’s other stuff. me personally though, i really like it. Are You Coming With Me is probably my favorite track. and Lucky Us is there if you want something really heavy.

anyways i know not many people are gonna read this and even less will actually listen to these songs, but i don’t care i find joy in sharing things i like even if no one listens lmaoooo. but enough rambling. if by chance you do listen to any of these please let me know your thoughts even if you hate them

you are right, "woke" has truly lost all meaning as a term... one of my new favorite games has a very basic and positive message to it but because the localization inserted some nonsense about a nonbinary character it got labeled as "woke SJW trash" even tho the rest of the script is pretty accurate to the original Japanese

I also saw comments about how just including a gay relationship in this game is "agenda-pushing" like I really don't get that tbqh. it just reminded me of people complaining that the new Zelda game is "woke" because it has a few characters who aren't lily white and Zelda has short hair lmao

LMAO Dying at the "woke" Zelda bc some characters are Black. Isn't that a fantasy game? like, with magic, talking trees, trolls and shit but Black people existing is a reach?? (they did the same for Lord of the Rings TV show)

I think the reluctance of these folks to see non White people in fantasy content is bc White people want to gatekeep fantasy as a 'White only' genre. Which is funny because White people have no problem reappropriating foreign genre for their own gain 🙃

Funny how these woke hunter always forget those Hollywood movies adaptation of foreign stories where the studio ALWAYS need to shove a WHITE hero for some reason or purposely use a story where a White character can outshine others?

Remember the samurai movie with Tom Cruise? 7 years in Tibet? Also Mulan love interest was supposed to be a White man initially, but people complained and it's been scrubbed off. There are whole think piece exposing how the Whites LOVE inserting themselves into POC stories to elevate themselves as heroes. Even woke storyline don't go that far with their non White characters ; they are always confined as side kick and minimum screetime (is it true that all the dark skin characters of the house of dragon ended up dying after the first season?? lmaoooo)

And I always said that the issue wasn't non White people being shoved in "White people story" because when Black Panther happened their were still mad and were seething about that movie catering to Blacks (but don't you dare saying movies featuring mostly White people are catering to White, it will make you an awful wokester lmao). Whites will always feel entitled for other races to relate to their stories, but never the other way around. There's a post floating around cathblr with Catholics raving about Arabs discovering the Lord of The Ring and enjoying it a lot. And I couldn't help but think: would those catholics turn the favor and rave about an Arab movie with islamist undertones...? 🙃 lmao.... Those people are soooooo transparent 💀

Everything is woke if you try hard enough, anyway. Scrotes are seething because they consider some video game female characters are purposely made ugly (like Aloy from Horizon Dawn. A scrote was coping bc the mocap actress was much more beautiful and he couldn't wrap his hand as of why they would change her face to make her look more 'rough' ...when he's just too stupid to grasp that this choice is actually pretty coherent with the storyline since homegirl is nomad WARRIOR.).

I also remember when they made a revamp of Mortal Kombat chara design and changed characters body proportion to become more realistic, scrotes got mad lmao It's hilarious how they think they're really doing something 'counter-culture' but they only show how porn fried they are. Even recently a member of AAA (a famous pop band) came out as gay 😬 there's a huuuuge push for LGBT visibility into the Japan entertainment right now, so it's obvious they have no idea of what they're talking about... omg i got so excited when i saw this question LOL like honestly it’s hard to tell when kyle has been heartbroken bc he isn’t the type to like weep and cry when he gets sad, like if cartman hurts him or betrays him he just gets rlly pissed off and plans revenge or some shit LMAOOOO. the only obvious moments i can think of were in s20 when kyle cried after breaking cartman’s stuff and when he got upset after seeing cartman & heidi together. but i’ve said this before i think the entire tragedy of kyle’s character and his dynamic with cartman is that he just feels sad & butthurt bc he feels rejected by cartman. that’s why he cares sooo much when cartman insults him like kyle acts like he doesn’t care what cartman thinks and tries to act all tough and shit but he rlly does care about his opinion of him, i mean why else would kyle let cartman manipulate him so easily in so many episodes? so I missed the last half hour and apparently in that time biden damn near took warren's eye out with his arthritic hand SO here's my final rankings

1. Castro. Had consistently good answers and even tho I wanted him to old-shame Biden again I suppose we will just have to do without this time. Didn't get involved in any scuffles or curbuckles so that's a plus.

2. Bernard. 100% got sympathy points but also evaded getting attacked even tho all the things the moderates attacked Warren for, Bernie originally supported...was the only one to attack Biden tonight so gets points for that too. Once he's fully healed I'm going back to making old man jokes tho

3. Warren. Miss Elizaberh was getting BEATEN and BATTERED tonight 😩. The moderates were truly eating her up and tbh...she's not good at explaining herself when under pressure. Her plans are good when she's on the offense but when on the defense she just talks in circles. And the points the moderates were making were silly!! She could've easily just called them cokeheads and simply move on. Despite that I put her this high bc she took the beating far better than Biden usually does

4. Harris. She's a clown as per usual and her attacks were BAAAAAD but she held her own against that Tulsi weirdo.

5. Booker. I would've put him at 4th but I honestly can't remember a single thing he said aside from "women are people!!!"

6. O'Rourke. Surely he was there. I just can't recall. Also got attacked by Buttijudge and didn't just call him ugly or something which would've been very easy. Ugh I can't believe BUTTIGUY made Beto O'Wartax look progressive...

7. Biden. I must admit the old man didn't say anything TOO stupid tonight but he still sounded completely incoherent. Tbh they didn't ask him a lot of questions which is the main reason why he didn't have a lot of time to make a clown out of himself. He also didn't mention Obama 32 times!

8. Yang. I have no idea what he's doing there or why he even has support when he makes the same 2 points every single time because those are the only 2 points he has. Also we get it, you like math.

9. Buttigieg. The BITCH jumped out tonight mama was laying into EVERYONE completely unprovoked like beloved what is going ON?? I thought you were all about civility? Sis was good and mad tonight I really want to know what O'Rourke did especially to receive that petty "courage" comment lmaoooo

10. Gabbard. I wanted to put Mayor of Whoville here but Gabbard not only had the exact strategy as Buttigieg but also was half as memorable. The whole "I want [blank] to answer the question" thing she kept doing was corny like you're not the moderator luv. Weren't you supposed to be boycotting the debate? 🥴
