At the opening of a tropical resort, a photographer (Claudio Cassinelli), an anthropologist (Barbara Bach), and an arrogant hotelier (Mel Ferrer) are besieged by hostile natives, obnoxious tourists, and a gargantuan river beast that intends to devour them all.
hello doctor fiddles. i am aware you are a man of the Appalachia, as a Virginia prime creature, i would like to know ur thoughts on the Great Dismal Swamp
id like to see animals in their natural habitat one day bc its like these complex but simple living beings just existing when the world around them and us is moving so fast but their lives are so natural and instinctual and theyre beautiful and also so complex too idk. i sound dumb but yeah. id like to see a Moose! or a bear. or a goat
Did you know that Asian Carp are an invasive species threatening the health of the Mississippi River? But the Alligator Gar could help! They’re not a particularly beloved species as they are large and have lots and lots of sharp teeth, but supporting their population could save the Mississippi. The real fear is that if the Carp reach the Great Lakes, our ecosystem will be throw totally out of whack.
I mean, look at this dumb asshole, who wouldn’t want that in their river?
I’m just starting this project, but eventually I’d like to have all my art made into pins and stickers that will generate donations, this guy would obviously donate to the restocking of the Gar population in the Mississippi River.
It's a little bit quiet but here's a good old classic Canadian kid's poem, Alligator Pie by Dennis Lee. And no, unfortunately I was not able to do it solely from memory. I had to look it up to fully remember the whole poem. Though it didn't take much running over it to remember it enough to recite without looking.
