Eyes of the SEES members ~

I’ve always admired artstyles where every character has super unique and recognizable vibes, so decided to try it with the gang. Super fun, highly recommend!

In the process of designing these I developed headcanons for each of their eyes, kind weird but if you want to read me ranting about why I drew Yukaris pupils a certain way or whatever, feel free to click read more lol.

Makoto: I wanted him to look tired, so a lot of his eyelashes go downward instead of upwards, also eye bags because he has insomnia and you can’t convince me otherwise. I didn’t want his eyes to look hollow/empty, but I didn’t want to put super obvious highlights and I think it works? Idk. Also drew his eyes in a way that reminds me of the ocean at night (Atlus gave me a ocean/water motif and I run with it ok?). His eyebrows are kinda “messy” in comparison to the others but I think it makes his eyes prettier so it is in character to me.

Yukari: I wanted her eyes to look a little more intense and turned them a little to give them a slightly “angry look”. Yukari should have a light case of rbf imo. I feel like Yukari puts a lot of effort into her appearance, and she probably wears more makeup but I cannot draw that to save my life lmao. Her eyebrows are probably the least messy other than Mitsurus, for the same reason as the previous one. Also hard to tell, but I put hearts in her pupils because it’s cute. Really proud of these ones, they read like hers so well to me.

Junpei: Junpeis eyes were so fun to draw! I feel like he’d have pretty short lashes and slightly smaller eyes, but still very vibrant! I really wanted his eyes to look full of life but still pretty simple, and I think I did pretty well! They feel very expressive to me. Also I feel like he’d have naturally very thin eyebrows, so gave him that lol.

Akihiko: idk how I feel about these, but I guess they’re alright? Gave him a kinda intense stare ig. I gave him really long natural eyelashes because I feel like he’d have them (canonical pretty boy that he is) and I’m somewhat proud of them because I stuggle with making longer eyelashes look masculine so guess this is a win. Gave him an eyebrow slit because I was so sure he had one in p4arena only to find out he didn’t even have eyebrows in it. What.

Fuuka: I feel like Fuukas neutral expression would still look slightly confused/concerns so her eyes are a little droopy. Gave her short but thick eyebrows because I thought it would be cute. Her eyes kinda remind me of rain and I like that! Also sidenote love the fact that official art draws fuuka with teal eyebrows. The implication that she was either born with teal hair or is so dedicated to the dye job she even dyed her eyebrows is hilarious to me. I know blue is treated as a normal hair color in persona-universe but Fuuka is literally the only one with teal hair how is it not dyed but yosuke and chies is??

Mitsuru: I wanted Mitsuru to be pretty. I gave her thinner but crisp eyebrows and eyeliner. I was a little worried because before I started shading her eyes looked kinda evil?? Lol but they turned out better in the end. Didn’t do a lot of details in her eyes because it felt like it worked better that way, but gave her bright highlights in her eyes to make up for it.

Aigis: These are my least favorite, and the first ones I did. Not sure if thats awful, because I wanted them to be very different from the rest. I feel like Aigis doesn’t actually have this wide eyes but willingly widens them so you can see the whole iris. I feel like her eyes would look more normal at a distance, and most of her classmates just assume she’s got weird eyes because they’re an uncommon eye color (major “give her brown contacts please” energy). Made her eyes look like does target-thingys and slightly plastic-y.

Ken: I didn’t want his eyes to be to bright, but still lively and childish. I gave him round wide eyes + smaller and thicker eyebrows to give a more childish feel. His eyelashes are pretty short but made them point more downwards since they looked too cheerful when turned upwards.

Shinjiro: dunno how readable these are as shinji, but theyre fine. Made his eyes very dark and put bright highlights cause I thought it looked better than the grey he actually has. Also gave him major eyebags because man has not had a good nights rest since like. Last October (sorry)

"Y-Y/N, are you sure you want me to do this? Wouldn't like, a professional be better?"

Dipper sweats with nervousness. He's quite happy you asked him, but what if he messes up? Hair dying, especially the permanent kind, is hard to get out and takes a long time. What if you break up with him?

You can tell he's overthinking it, so you hand him the box die with a small chuckle. "If you mess up, I'll just dye it back to my natural hair color, right?"

He swallows. "Uh, yeah!"

Mabel peaks in out of nowhere. "Dip-Dip, wash your sweaty hands! Y/N doesn't want that in their hair!"

Dipper's cheeks flush. "Mabel! Go away!"

"No way! I'm gonna take so many pictures and put them in my 'Dipper's first partner' scrapbook! Just ignore me!"

He sighs. "Fine."

He opens the dye, and adjusts your towel slightly.

"You're not wearing gloves?" you ask with raised eyebrows.

"Oh, yeah..."

He scrambles to put on the plastic gloves before he finally begins mixing the dye.

Once he has it mixed, he carefully mixes the solution with the developer, mumbling to himself.

"Alright, Y/N, let me brush your hair... There! Okay, I gotta use this paintbrush thingy, right? Yeah. Okay."

He takes small, careful bits of your hair, and dyes them one at a time.

For someone so awkward and nervous, he's extremely meticulous.

When the process is finally complete, he seems proud of himself. After rinsing, it actually looks really great. Some areas by the roots are less well done, but overall, you decide it looks great!

Mabel squeals as she takes a picture of your hair, then immediately runs away to do... something. Neither you nor Dipper know what.

quick design note draft thingys for miss mari because I Am Never Satisfied With My Own Designs but she is very nice and i like her and i need to draw her more

just a fun headcanon obv, since the games always have set colors on the player characters, but i like to think of a lot of the way inkfish naturally present their colors as a genetic thing, especially in how tentacle colors work! mari's secondary/gradient color is always a warmer tone, but ruby and jade's are always a cooler tone, and some people (like squid sisters/OTH/etc) have totally unrelated colors for the main body of the tentacles and the actual ink color is in the gradient part at the end. i also like to think those traits are something you could get temporarily changed though, kind of like hair dye irl.

i also feel like there'd be a lot of little genetic mutations that end up in family lineages (like mari's eye color, in this example) but if it looks cool the squid fashion world ends up finding a way to artifically copy it so it's not actually very special to have those mutations naturally lol

2 month T update the day before

- finally gave in and got a haircut bc i had a mullet and the length was stressing me out (honestly expected tho bc i’ve always gotten sick to my stomach when my hair grew any longer than to my shoulders). and it actually went rly well. only two people were working and there was a lot of chatting, and i got called ‘man’ a lot (in the same way you’d call someone dude at the end of a sentence. that probably makes no sense but i’m tired asf rn so take it).

anyway it’s much shorter and looks rly good :3

- started packing a bit ago and that’s actually done wonders for my confidence. i think cuz it’s more like a harness you pack yourself instead of it being realistic

- this is so lame but i’m more engaged in class bc i’m always looking for any way to answer a question and use my voice. i’ve always been that type of person (chronic teachers pet disorder/j) but i always talked quietly and felt unsure of myself in a way i couldn’t explain until i started T

Makeup routine? 🐈‍⬛

mhhhhhhhhh. I would make a video but it is not v much so i would feel too silly .. I can write it out &post my products later if u want. my makeup itself is simple but I think my techniques r.. odd lol

• moisturizer + sunscreen + primer! bcus i alwaysm accidentally rub my makeup off

• i use a very pale concealer that is almost lilac-y under my eyes & around my mouth + nose to brighten up all my shadows n then a sheer foundation like .. only on the center of my face? I will just rly lightly use it to brighten + even out the center of my forehead, my bridge&around my nose, and chin. Idk

• i tint my eyebrows with beard dye bcus I loatheee drawing them on but my brows r high + thin. emphasis the front part of ur brows &tilt them up a bit when u draw so u always look a bit pouty and 'hmph' <- Princess secret

• i use a veryvery grey cool - toned brown color to contour bcus it is the only shade that works with my skintone . I just kinda smudge it along the edge of my jaw and then bcus i have fractured my nose onemillion times it is rly uneven so I just do a little line down the one side .. to even it out lol. and then that'ms it . God bless how kittycat my nose is.. my tip to replicate this is to widen the bridge of ur nose with a light powder and then only contour the very tip. U want ur nose to look like V <- this sort of shape

• i put all of my blush where I am naturally pink like across my nose + the edges of my cheeks and then i extend it up to the corners of my eyes .. and then this is typically where i start decorating myself with glitter . Lots. I like putting it in the center of my lid and then right under my lacrimal caruncle ehich is the pink thingie in thr corner of ur eye. Also like a tiny fairy dusting of it on my nose tip . this is also the point where I go over all of my beautymarks with a brown eyeliner to make sure their starpower is visible always!

• for my mascara I use a rlllly teensy tiny eyelash curler that only curls small sections bcus i only curl the corner of my eyelashes . I have rly long lashes but it comes with the curse of them being too heavy to stay up soo . I heat up my curler with my lighter, curl the ends bcus it makes me look extraterrestrial kitten - like , then I use a waterproof mascara. if u want a dollier type of look, curl all of ur lashes .

• i like smudging out dark pink / red lip - stains in the center of my lips to make it seem like my bitten as fuxkkck lips are actually makeup &...not jsut mutilated lol. But it gives u a rly lovestruck kissie innocent effect that i like. i don'mt do lipliner or anythint bcus it looks too strange with my lipshape but sometimes I take a littttle bit of lipstick on a brush and use to very lightly emphasize my cupid's bow ... I like how heart - shaped it looks and again . It is just very kittycat to me

As promised, here are a couple of pics of the back of my Town Hall. It's a pretty nice place for sims to gather and enjoy the views. They have easels and telescopes, live music, and a small outdoor cafe.

Moving right along, here's the new abode of that runaway princess. Inside, I used Sandy's Tiny Houses set to furnish it. And it is very barebones. As her mother likes to say, "You want to live like every-day sims? Well, have at it!" No more royal allowance, servants, clothing allowance, jewelry - whatever. Since the princess only finished less than a half of a semester in both Communications and Fine Arts, she has no marketable skills. (Yes, I did take away most of her skill points since she was pampered all of her life - and all of her money). When I took her into CAS, I gave her a haircut and crappy dye job - she did it herself! - and new clothes more in line with her new circumstances. I also changed her traits. She now has that Diva trait instead of the virtuoso one. She also does NOT get along with her co-workers - especially her boss - because 1) they expect HER to work Every. Single. Day. And actually work - like a peasant! And apologies to any of my Brit friends, but I modelled her on the current whiney royal who lives here in my country - who has done nothing but criticize us since he got here. Sorry, guys! I love Brits - but they're too much.

While I was in that area, I placed @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel's lovely replacement lot for Hans Tavern. She called hers the Natural Woodlands Cafe and it's zoned as a hangout. I added the bikes out from, but otherwise did nothing to the outside.

This is the cafe area. There's that coffee thingie from Uni and I may have added that jukebox. Otherwise, it's as she designed it.

There's a small hallway between the cafe area and this room. I did make some changes here. I added the rug, the lights from wonkymoon over on TSR, the artwork, and the bookcase.

There is a 2nd floor, but all that was up there were some sleeping bags - which I left. The only change I made was adding @mspoodle1's poker table so my hikers can get in a game or too, after a long day up on the mountains.

And finally, @11 Meadow Beach Drive, I placed this shack to replace my diner rabbithole. It's currently for sale, but once buyers walk inside and see all the rats scurrying about, they leave. Local sims tell newcomers - when they ask about the food - that it serves as a reminder of why sims learned to cook and eat at home.

Ok . Shadowgear headcanons (+gajeel and Lily probably because they all are besties to me)

My hc on their backstory (spoiler I am projecting my thai-ness on them they are thai (as if I have not said that enough)

Set in the sweltering fiore adjacent thailand country :

Jet’s family being pretty nonchalant,, didnt care what he did when he got home or anything (not necessarily in the neglecting way,, just like he always comes back every night and they trust him way) He loved running with the dogs as a kid and where he got his love of running from. Droy, was a farmer kid (obv) his parents were just a little magic gifted , father with plant manipulation and mother with a small affinity to plant growth. He has basically a farmers tan all of the time (when he started helping in the fields) , naturally was a chubby kid and just grew a lot —> why it’s less noticeably during “canon”. Jet (10)and Droy (11) met when jet raced past Droy’s test crops, ruining them and seeing him tearing up jet immediately apoligized and offered to help replant them. The start of a weird friendship,, sometimes droy would join jet with runs/walks (usually asking for him to slow down and talk about his day instead of trying to keep up with him) they meet levy(10) when they walk into the nearby town and see a little girl sitting at the counter of a restaurant and reading. Being young and wanting to make more friends they go up to her and pester her and she’s very shy. Her kunyai (grandma + honorific in thai) who basically adopted Levy when her parents died in a guild raid of a nearby province when she was v young scolded the two (they’re regulars at the restaurant, there to run errands for her or yk eat lol),, but they were intrigued and didn’t let up their efforts to try and talk to her whenever they saw her. One day they acted like they were fight over her (kunyai initiated it probably) and she snorted out laughing calling them idiots. Thus the start of them fighting over her AS A JOKE (because I hate how they were reduced to that and the bit . Guys I swear it’s a bit),, kunyai was very encouraging about their friendship bc she was anxious that Levy wouldn’t get out of her shell. So they frequently hung out at the restaurant, Droy’s farm, or even Jet’s house.

Droy is actually the leader of the group because Jet and Levy would constantly get into competitions and are just feral. 🧑‍🦰 - Have they ever dyed their hair? Ever cut it themself?

Esme is 100% a bottle blonde- her hair is naturally dark ash blonde, but she dyes it white-blonde for aesthetic reasons. She gets it dyed professionally now, but all through her teens she did it herself.

Onnie dyed dark red streaks into the front of her hair once, but Eobard made her dye them back to black because it didn't really fit the aesthetic he was going for.

💓 - What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Esme's arospec, so she's not really into the whole romantic attraction thing. She's never really been in love, she's only been in relationships because she feels obligated to with comphet and everything. However, she is a great gift-giver and she shows her affection with that.

Surprisingly, Onnie losing control of her powers is a sign of them having feelings for someone- the Negative Speed Force feeds off emotions like rage and hatred, so her being filled with warm, fuzzy feelings kinda pisses it off. As for the way she shows affection, acts of service are their go-to love language.

🤔 - What’s something they’ll never understand?

Esme's never really going to understand what happened to her parents. Because she was left at home with a sitter while Harrison and Tess went out that fateful day when Eobard killed them both, she's not really sure what actually happened to them, only that they are in fact dead.

Onnie's never going to fully understand their powers and the implications thereof. She was manipulated into being artificially bound to the Negative Speed Force at a very young age, and they didn't really know what they were getting themself into. To this day, she doesn't quite understand her powers.

☂️ - How do they feel about rain?

Esme isn't a big fan of the rain. She spends a lot of time on her hair and makeup, and the rain is usually a one-way ticket to that all being ruined. Unfortunately, living in the Pacific Northwest, Esme has to deal with a lot of rain.

Onnie loves the rain. Because of their powers, they can slow their perception of time to a near standstill, and when she wants to be alone, she often goes to the top of one of the STAR Labs spire thingies and watches the rain fall in slow motion.

🎶 - What’s a song they really like?

Esme's favorite song is Your Own Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode, though she also has a soft spot in her heart for anything by Brittany Spears.

Onnie's favorite song is Chemtrails Over The Country Club by Lana Del Rey- surprising, for someone like her, but it's a song that means a lot to them.

🖌️ - Do they have any hobbies?

Esme enjoys going out to enjoy the nightlife, and hanging out with her friends! She's a huge extrovert and she loves to be the center of attention.

Onnie doesn't have a lot of hobbies, not since they killed their best friend. Back in the day, she used to enjoy volleyball, chemistry, and art classes, though.

Esme speaks English, French, and some conversational German that she learned in High School.

Onnie speaks English, Italian, French, and Spanish, and some conversational Mandarin (Eobard keeps her busy lol)

tommy and ranboo did match flowers in their hair for a while but tommy completely ditched him (despite starting the whole matching thing) and went to dandelions sdjsfj

i'm still debating it, but i feel like making ranboo a royal! i couldn't add a crown cause it didn't fit the bangs at all

anyways, like tommy, his fingers also fade into color! every other one is black, and the ones that are missed are white!

also similarly to tommy, ranboo's skin is a different color. it's greyer to the point where they look like sick. (the grey option on the picrew was too strong imo sfdjds)

Making a list of what an ideal home would be like for me

-weird location where no people go but close enough to a town where there are dance classes and a gym, and a grocery store and probably my job also, preferably within a distance that can be walked if necessary

-cold running natural water

-hiking trail or forest that can be used for the same purpose without a trail (preferably some elevation involved, and water that can be made drinkable easily) (I just want a map)

-house itself should be small and strange, can be a cottage, that would be great actually

-must have a fireplace thing in place that can be used to warm the place in case of no electricity in winter

-any variation of a functional cooling system for summer. I absolutely cannot sleep in warmth.

-I want an indoor tree

-there will be a library room.

-and strange objects

-and a tea corner next to a window

-there should be no lawn. There should be moss and rocks, mostly natural with some amount of artificially made paths and so on, probably some spots for planting garden plants. Either way I am doing zero maintainance for appearance, I am lazy and prefer things as close to their natural state as possible.

-can grow strawberries and carrots outside (and berry bushes and herbs and all that)

-need a warm garage for a car for winter time, non-negotiable with these distances and temperatures

-storage for bicycle and snow shoes and hiking stuff and other things

-should I get dogs? Maybe I should. I will build some kind of thing that allows them to run around outside when they want, how much fence do you need to make a mini dog park?

-if cats then the house will need a cat pathway system that goes from room to room

-there should be an outside building with art supplies and other stuff for projects and room for dancing and other nonsense I do (maybe combine this with the garage somehow? Also could be adjusted to be used as a quest house?)

-sort of nearby lake or river fit for swimming (clear water. Clear. Water.)

-not too large of an area bc I will only maintain narrow pathways between buildings through the snow in winter time

I'm dying my hair soon and realized that I'm embracing my inner raccoon bc I'm doing the raccoon hair thingy but also, in passing thought,

ghost would get a kick out of the fact raccoon, not on field, has (had) raccoon dyed hair. Like he's learning about his apprentice and it was brought up that raccoon had to dye his hair a natural color (black) because he had funky dyed hair. Should I write a thing about it?

Ghost sat there while Raccoon trimmed his hair- he wasn't ready to get rid of the longer frames that sat on the sides his face. If Ghost had a choice (which he does), he could take a razor and buzz all the hair off. "Get rid if it all together," His rough voice echoed in Raccoons ears. "Problem solved."

That only gets Raccoon to respond with, "Easy for you, you're probably bald under that mask." Every time, too.

Ghost, this time, watched him. He was staring directly at the back of the kids head, watching him turn his head every now and then before staring at the mirror- at himself. With how tall he was compared to Raccoon, Ghost could see where his hair started to grow- noticing the way that lighter brown hair peered through black hair. It only took Ghost a solid second to realize that his hair was dyed. "You dyed your hair."

Raccoon flinched at his voice, looking at Ghost through the mirror, behind him. His eyebrow raised before he nodded, "I needed to dye it a natural color- only natural colored hair, nothin' funky." He put the scissors down- fully turning himself to face Ghost. "Personally, if I had the choice, I'd have bright pink hair."

Ghost huffed, before tilting his head. "You had unnaturally dyed hair, then?" Raccoon nodded. "I assume, then, pink?"

"No, I don't look good in pink," He said dryly. Ghost watched as Raccoon twirled the longer pieces, hands trailing down to scratch his jaw as he looked up. "I've had a multitude of colors. I dyed my hair before the military to like... Purple and Black." His hand ran down one half of his head, as if he were flattening his hair down. He then futzed with the long framing pieces. "You ever dyed your hair, L.t.?"

"Once. Didn't like it."

"Boring." His hand that wasn't messing with the layers of his hair gave a thumbs down, and Ghost glared at him through the eyes of the mask. Raccoon flipped his hair, "You should try it once your outta here- it's addictive."

"No, thanks," Ghost watched as Raccoon put his hands back in his lap, legs crossed uncomfortably in the chair (Soap once asked him if he needed to stand, to which Raccoon said "I'm comfy like this.").

"Suit yourself." Raccoon shook his head, feeling the weight of less hair on his head as it weighed in that he cut it before looking up. "I had a funky hairstyle- same with this but the sides were longer." One hand measured it down: from the side of his head down under his chin, closer to his shoulder. "I had alternating colors."

"Seems like a lot," He tried imagining Raccoon with the hair: Half black hair, the top bit black, the longer side purple. The opposite side... The opposite. "Black to purple, purple to black?" Ghost tilted his head back, chuckling. He didn't miss the way Raccoons eyes lit up (Raccoon prides himself for making Ghost laugh.) before squinting at him. "Top to bottom- Black to purple. Purple to black."

"No, no like- You were around during the late 2000s, the raccoon hair!" He exclaimed, before grabbing his right frame, his fingers cutting at the top, "Purple," he scissored downward, "Black. Purple, Black. You know what I'm talking about, right?"

Ghost stared at him before closing his eyes. Then, a sudden jolt from him- a chuckle. A longer, more pronounced chuckle than before. Raccoon stared at him before tilting his head up, keeping his eyes on his superior. Ghost's chuckle faded into a laughter, quiet, raspy. Barely even there, which made Raccoon almost proud of himself- The Ghost, laughing. It dawned on him that, well, Ghost was laughing at him, so he sat up in the chair, "What are you even laughing at?!"

"Raccoon. Raccoon tail," Ghost put his hands out, boxing his words as he added another invisible box next to the other. His hands found his thighs as he controlled himself. "You really live up to the raccoon lifestyle; Aggressive, baggy eyes, your hair-"

"Oh Come on! It's just cool!"
