Cheth found another deity who they'd like to adopt as their new sister since she's way less of a pain in the butt.

I stumbled across @phantomarine late last year/early this year (PLEASE GO READ IT!), and fell so hard for the comic I had a NEED to do cosplay from it for my return to NYCC that I ended up postponing another outfit I've been sitting on wanting to do since my last one back in 2019 (I did start off with plans to attempt both, but horrible time management made me choose in the end for my own sanity).

The fact that trk_knight ALSO happened to be cosplaying a death (death-adjacent?) goddess from a webcomic the same day I'd decided on wearing Cheth was just a hilarious coincidence.

Now only if I had my fangs in (I ended up not bothering since I was masked up outside of these few photos) and the skeletal plesiosaur tote bag I'd wanted for my con bag (despite having the foresight to have it delivered to tkr's place UPS decided to hold it hostage so I didn't get it until AFTER the con -_-) and someone else to do the main missing component of this should-actualy-be-a-duo cosplay.

Bonus crossover pic under the cut, because even when one misjudges just how hot you'll get wearing a fur lined wool cloak inside a crowded building, it's still fall and definately not spring outside in my neck of the woods.

I’ve been talking so much about my Ranni cosplay at fanimecon, just because she was so intensive, but on Sunday I did a more comfy cosplay for me and I just got these pictures back from one of the photographers who did a little impromptu morning shoot with me as Persephone from Lore Olympus!
