Jon wakes up again, and realizes that he must have drifted off to sleep. There's a voice somewhere in the background, but it's too faint to make out.

It isn't Nikola. Her voice, Jon would recognize anywhere. Not that it's even hers. Whose voicebox is sewn into her throat? Did they die quickly, or did the pain stretch out interminably, and leave the poor victim wishing for death? The voice gets louder. He feels like he recognizes it, but that doesn't mean anything. Nothing means anything in the Circus. Jon squeezes his eyes shut even tighter.

"—see? He's fine," the voice whispers audibly as its owner opens a door. It sounds annoyed. That is not ideal.

There's something so grotesquely thrilling about the unknowing being a dance. As an art form dance is uncomfortable, painful, and even causes lasting damage to the dancer; but above all it is something that MUST be beautiful.

"I just want you to join me for a dance!"

Such an innocent statement, even if you know that it isn't.

To think of a partner dance: Perhaps a waltz where your partner is much taller than you, their position forcing your arms out of their sockets as you struggle to keep your form.

A solo dance? Ballet without training, elegant poses that stretch your tendons til they snap; pointe work without shoes, the weight of your body crushing the bones in your feet.

Or musical theatre! Your body moves at a pace you can't control as your throat grows hoarse from singing louder than you ever should. A smile (or perhaps a grimace) plastered painfully on your face.

What about contemporary? Your soft unprepared body meeting the harsh ground from a leap that ended too soon; something tears inside you as you draw yourself up gracefully in a way you wouldn't think possible.

The pure raw confusion of your body doing something you never allowed it to know how to do. What is this body? What is this movement? What shape am I being twisted into?

"so effortless!" an onlooker exclaims, as another bone snaps.

You'd scream, but the punishment for not smiling is worse than this pain.

The harsh gaze of dead, automaton eyes watches you from the wings, judging and critiquing. It's not good enough, your performance wasn't perfect; but if you're lucky you won't live long enough to hear the feedback. You wouldn't understand it anyways.

A tma character page for Nikola Orsinov, as requested by @kris-shinnie-pride! They also requested a page for Not!Sasha, which isn’t done yet but I will try to get it done as soon as possible!

First, this is the whole page. I tried to work with a circus theme for the background, for obvious reasons

A closeup of the main drawing. She is pretty similar to another drawing I’ve made of her, with a few minor changes (also the suit is dark blue but looks a lot darker in this photo)

A drawing of her in one of those acrobatic ring things. For some reason I really like drawing her in one of those, idk why. The blacked out face also symbolizes the whole “stranger” thing

Behind that drawing, a drawing of Nikola without any accessories. This was supposed to be like the drawing on top, but I spent so much time on her joints and stuff that I didn’t want to cover it all up lol

Below it all is a drawing of Joseph Grimaldi, based on an actual picture of him. I thought that was a neat little detail.

A ticket for the Circus of the Other. I looked at the Wikipedia page for it and saw the name was also written in Russian, and tried to copy it. I do not speak or understand Russian, so I apologize if it looks bad or is written wrong.

And lastly a few doodles of Nikola. First is her natural appearance, just a smooth plastic face with only a hint of a nose. Second, her usual makeup. Lastly, her wearing someone’s face and presenting as human.

And that’s it! I hope y’all like it, this was a really fun page to make! As I mentioned, a page for Not!Sasha (one encompassing the whole concept of the Not!Them actually) is coming soon!

Perfect spooky prompt for Friday the 13th!! Mag1 - Angler Fish holds a special place in my heart. Just something about it being such a wonderful opening episode that gives you a taste of the fear that's to come, all while actually becoming sorta relavant later in the plot? Mmm, love it <3

My goal for Magtober is to do a sketch every day according to the prompt. I've been suffering from that headspace where every peice needs to be a finished piece, so I'm tryin to break that.

Speedran finishing thia over the past few days and I'm SO proud of its came out! So these guys are my tma ocs! Ive got two more but both of them are remakes of old ocs into tma.

Only two of these guys doin have names for so far. of which are, Wild my Flesh and Beholding Avatar and then Alise my Eye touched Stranger avatar! Key difference between the two are that Wild actually serves the two fear while Alise is merely heavily touched by the eye
