I wonder if I could swing it where one or more of the Weasels was secretly living in the walls of Eddie's office for like 2 months after their boss died. Maybe it seemed like the best place to lay low for a while. Nobody's gonna check there.

There's a little closed-off cubby in a non-functional laundry shoot where the brothers used to stash spare guns, cash, any odds and ends that could be considered "dirty laundry." Eddie's forgotten about it. I think it'd be hilarious if Smartass was sleeping in there and leaving rent money under Eddie's pillow with a note saying it's back payments plus interest from the Tooth Fairy, and Eddie's still so broke he barely questions this.

Of course Smartass can't resist the urge to screw with him a little. So one morning Eddie wakes up with the stuffed falcon sitting at the foot of his bed, staring directly at him. Other times he hears banging noises with a rhythm that *sounds* like it's supposed to be a code like Morse, but he can't place it.

Is he actually trying to drive Eddie insane? Mm... Probably not. Just being a nuisance.
