Adaine: Adaine listens to the first eight seconds of The Prophecy over and over against her will because Aelwyn keeps sending it to her under various guises being like "did this happen? did you see this? is this what the old elven people want?" it's like Elven Oracle rickrolling. To be clear - Adaine hates this song.

Fabian: I think Fabian would hear ONE sad song, think about the immense loneliness he feels every day, and throw his special edition vinyl out the window like a frisbee.

Gilear: Gilear accidentally downloaded an Enya album

Arthur Aguefort: this one is hard to explain but I think Aguefort would choose Clara Bow as a karaoke song despite it being one of the worst potential karaoke songs on the album. This is deliberate on his part. Also I think he'd be a real Stevie Nicks girlie.

real talk though… nara being described as kristen with money is making me go insane… part of what tracker talks about when she’s cursed in the nightmare forest (which I took as sort of a drunk words are sober thoughts logic) was that kristen relied so heavily on tracker and needed her so much to the point that tracker felt that she couldn’t have the same. and it’s not that kristen was unwilling or unwanting even to help, but that she had so much stuff going on that she literally couldn’t, and tracker, though she loved (loves?) kristen deeply also resented that. it makes perfect sense that tracker would gravitate to nara, who has the same impulsive quality that initially attracted tracker to kristen, but has the resources and support system that kristen doesn’t. bc not only does nara support tracker with galicaea stuff (and comes with perks of having wealth and influence and power) but nara has parents who she is seemingly in good terms with. where tracker had to fill a void of familial support in addition to romantic love for kristen, nara’s whole deal is… at least simpler? crazy subtle characterization with that one

People who think Tracker and Kristen should be endgame/are soulmates genuinely fascinates me. I don't mean that as some sort of shipper-hate or something, but I mean it as I know them. I used to be in that relationship. My first relationship after coming out as lesbian was exactly the same. We started dating in high school and stayed together for a few years. We were attached at the hip and one of us grandfathered in the other into their friendship group. One of us had some more experience as a dyke. Even how we interacted with each other was about as similar as it could be to Tracker and Kristen. We broke up amicably and through a lot of tears, promising each other to stay close friends. One of us got a summer depression over it and one of us became very productive over it. We didn't speak for months despite the promise and then when we saw each other again it was some weird parasocial/psychosexual dynamic none of us would recognise. We had a mutual friend who eventually chose a side. One of us got into a relationship soon thereafter and brought it up to the other in the most toxic imaginable way. We still cared about each other like crazy. That first insane lesbian relationship you're in is gonna set its mark forever and you're supposed to grow from it. Ally knew exactly what the vibe with Kristen and Tracker was because this is such a universal experience for young dykes.
