Erik Henningsen (Aug. 29, 1855 - 1930) was a Danish painter and illustrator. Most Danes are still familiar with his poster design for the Tuborg brewery of a hot and sweaty, “Thirsty Man”.
But Henningsen was mainly a socially conscious artist, in the vein of his American contemporaries, the Ashcan School painters. He often portrayed the down and out folks at the bottom of the social hierarchy.

Who is Sangrat? I know this blog mentions them exactly once, but I'm curious. They give off quite some Tao vibes...
Sangrat is a character created for an RP with OttonandPooky/@p-pooky, where the twins Ottimo and Tuborg embark on a journey to find their abducted parents. They create two somewhat sentient beings during the journey: the rock giant Rockmoss (made of rock and moss) and cat-like creature whose front half disintegrated, Sangrat (made of sand and nettle). The twins slapped a pair of eyes on the cat's pelvis, and voila. Sangrat's chief character trait, as far as I can remember, is that she can run fast. The Tao vibes are entirely accidental and possibly caused by the ring on her "forehead".

He also put militarism and gung-ho nationalist sentiments in perspective:
