Silver’s Fairy Godfather 🐦‍⬛

I’d like to imagine Silver and Crowley having an Aurora and Maleficent-Diaval dynamic- one that is complicated yet full of care simultaneously 🌸💖

This was all inspired by Silver’s Alchemy Special Lesson line where he says “I feel better when the Headmage is here” 😭😭😭😭 that’s all it took BAHXJSJ!!! But why? Why does Silver feel better when the Headmage is there, when everyone else feel tense, anxious, annoyed, or even scared? 👀 This was a question I sought to answer for myself- as in what if Crowley was his “fairy godfather,” like the way Maleficent was to Aurora in the live action film.

I feel like some stuff is up to interpretation- as this is from (mostly) Silver’s POV. But I hope the general concept of this wasn’t too confusing to follow (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) I wanted to try having the story follow Silver’s POV, age, and thoughts through the style of drawings- except for certain pages that’s meant to be drawn from Crowley’s POV (о´∀`о) I hope it wasn’t too disorienting!

There were many, many others scenes of them I wanted to draw but couldn’t fit -v- so I suppose I have inspiration for mini comics/sketches in the future to elaborate further on them! Thank you for reading 🌸💖🐦‍⬛

The Ordeal of Finding a Friend

(This is based on the theory that if Meleanor is in the dark mirror,,, then does that mean that she's responsible for recruiting students for NRC--?? then does that mean that she also chose someone to be Malleus' friend(Prefect🔥)-- with a little assistance from Levan if he's Crowley🐦‍⬛🐉

also inspired by that scene in Maleficent 2 where Maleficent was displeased about Aurora's engagement and the mini plan to just turn Philip as a goat cuz she thinks its better than a human--

I like to imagine that this is Meleanor and Levan's dynamic ykyk its a nice callout to Maleficent and Diaval where Maleficent is dubious on Philip but Diaval is just supportive of Philip's proposal because it makes Aurora(in this case Malleus) happy 😭✨

I also like to imagine that Meleanor slowly opens up to humans like she isnt easily fond of them- so if you introduce one to her, you'll need to 'work' for it

so during those times where Meleanor still disapproves the Prefect and Malleus' dynamic... even though Levan and Lilia repeatedly confirms that theyre a green flag... they'll just annoy her like the annoying partners they are-- (also Lilia living the life‼️finally✨ he gets to bother Meleanor🔥(cuz she always bother him with her troubles lol))

I really want other faes to react that Malleus first normal social experience was through a magicless human too‼️

they sheltered their prince out of humans (except for Lilia w/ Silver ehehe💖) but the first one to befriend him normally was a human too

like,,,, fr this nation is destined to get along with humans,,, no wonder Levan was trying to convince anyone to sign the peace treaty already 😭

I believe that Malleus and Vil would make the bestest of friends and it’s all that’s been on my mind lately, so much so that I had to make a silly comic for them. They both have been very isolated due to their statuses, they tend to hide their emotions, they keep to those they trust…I think they could relate to each other a lot as well as introduce each other to new experiences and ideals. Both follow in the steps of queens as well 💅

I could go on and on about their friendship, but I’ll save that for future comics because I’m no where near done exploring their dynamic. Imagine Vil introducing Malleus to all sorts of films, like they start a Film Night at Diasomnia, then Malleus introduces Vil to new plants for potions and they make potions at Pomefiore. I can also just imagine Vil introducing Malleus to his dad and they hit it off so well because Malleus comments on how the set design of some movie is just atrocious and Vil’s dad is like, “YES SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS MY PAIN!” And Vil is like, “Can’t we just enjoy the acting?” “NO!” I tell you I could just go on 🤧

I was working on this comic the day before Crowley’s card suddenly dropped haha! 🤣 It was originally supposed to end where Crowley picked Silver up, but then I wanted to add more just because of the card…

This is a reference to the Maleficent live-action scene, where Maleficent picks up baby Aurora. Baby Silver progressively gets tinier the more I drew him 🤣 He doesn’t tolerate the Angst which is understandable!! This entire comic was inspired by Silver’s special lesson voiceline where he says he feels more comfortable when Crowley is around. I thought this line was interesting, since all the characters express their anxiety or dislike of Crowley in Special Lesson mode. Imagine baby Silver he was the only one to get a Crowley face reveal lol?? \(//∇//)\
