I know I'm just reaching, but the sequence of Silver waking up in the Rabbit Race feels so much like the occuring ways he's woken up by Lilia 😭😭😭🙏🙏💖💕💞💕

one thing I noticed, Silver and Knight of Dawn do have similarities with their magic other than their whole white void magic... ITS THAT THEY BOTH REQUIRE A FAE TO DEVOTE THEIR STRENGTH TO 😭😭🙏🙏✨💖💕💖💕

In Japanese, they basically said the same thing😭😭‼️‼️✨✨ especially the 我に力を！！😭😭(in silver's case the way he says his line is just more ""informal"" (俺に力を) than Dawn, he says "ore ni" unlike "ware ni")

Does this mean in Silver's heart,,, Lilia is Silver's guardian fairy??? 😭😭😭💞💞💞

I know thats like obvious already but "guardian fairies" for Knight of Dawn, was the origin of his power, every time he wields his sword he dedicates his strength to them, so every battle he endures feels like its for the fairies that gives him strength and in turn, he wants to protect them (and remember that Silver's dream is to be a knight capable of protecting Malleus and Lilia (the faes he loves!!!))

IM GONNA SOB... GUYS IT KINDA FEELS LIKE he loves his father so much, he thinks his strength came from his love to Lilia😭😭

So, the thing that makes Silver strong even against his sleepiness or sadness, is true love, JDJSJDJS regardless if its not Lilia, it could be Sebek, it could be the first years...

Its mostly Lilia OFCC but it can also be from friends and in the Rabbit Fest, the first years, who are his friends😭💖💖💖🙏✨ I'm sure Lilia would be proud AJDJWJS

ALSO now this just makes me think that MAYBE Silver's and Dawn's lineage, requires them "to love someone," or "be loved" in order to be strong???

If so, THAT COULD BE A PARALLEL to the fact that the Draconia lineage also needs lots of love in order to be born... so both Silver/Knight of Dawn and Malleus/Meleanor are people who were born and whose strength centers around love— kind of like they cant exist nor grow up without it 😭😭💞🙏✨✨

Malleus’ Ruler of the Abyss

So we might get a potential OB Malleus card?? Hopefully with his dragon form in it? I feel this would be later, maybe after book 7. When he’s come to himself. And has accepted himself and the help around him. I feel this might be a book 8 card.

Silver’s Knight of Dreams

Silver’s ohhhhh I hope it’s the knight of dawn armor or a mix with Lilia and knight of dawn. I feel this would be a card at the end of book 7 or in book 8. So much potential. The knight of dreams protecting the dreams of others. Combined with malleus it would be sweet in book 8 if they go the dream route and these two use their powers together.

Sebek’s Knight of Lightning

Hello my loud and boisterous croc boy. Whose passion and empathy speaks loudly. Whose UM encompasses his entire being. My sweet dedicated knights your ssr is beautiful.

Lilia’s Seeker of Cradles

His General SSR card makes me emotional 🥹💚 literally his card tied to the story shows how he’s changed because of love. His UM itself shows his love for his sons. Always seeking the cradles and changing for his loved ones.

I was working on this comic the day before Crowley’s card suddenly dropped haha! 🤣 It was originally supposed to end where Crowley picked Silver up, but then I wanted to add more just because of the card…

This is a reference to the Maleficent live-action scene, where Maleficent picks up baby Aurora. Baby Silver progressively gets tinier the more I drew him 🤣 He doesn’t tolerate the Angst which is understandable!! This entire comic was inspired by Silver’s special lesson voiceline where he says he feels more comfortable when Crowley is around. I thought this line was interesting, since all the characters express their anxiety or dislike of Crowley in Special Lesson mode. Imagine baby Silver he was the only one to get a Crowley face reveal lol?? \(//∇//)\

Fuck the timeline, everyone please consider an au where the Knight of Dawn narrowly escapes from a fight that almost kills him and as he's limping through a forest to find somewhere to hide and recover, the woodland creatures find him and lead him somewhere. He follows, assuming they're leading him somewhere safe, but before he can reach it he collapses from his injuries. As his consciousness begins to fade, he sees Princess Meleanor looking down at him and he isn't surprised that she'd been waiting for his end, waiting for him to join her in the Underworld where he'd sent her.

Later in the evening, Lilia Vanrouge is startled by the door to his quiet little cottage bursting open. His prince and pupils have returned... and they have dragged the injured Knight of Dawn back with them. Silver runs up to Lilia and begs "Papa" to help the poor injured man they'd found in the woods, completely oblivious to how Lilia's blood chills and his mouth goes dry because his son this human child had so cluelessly brought an old enemy into their home who also happens to be his father.

I think the Knight of Dawn being "a coward who is unable to stand up for what is right and does as he's ordered to" and "someone who cares deeply about his family and did everything he could so that Silver could live a happy and normal life in the future" are two statements that can coexist.

#And Lilia knows this too which is huge #I love the complexities brought up in this chapter #I love how it really weighs in on Lilia's desire for world peace because war turns normally compassionate people do to terrible things #and no one wins when babies are orphaned #I love how far an act of kindness can go too #The Knight warned Lilia about Henrick's plan to kidnap the egg and gave Lilia an opening to escape #and 400 years later Lilia rescued Silver from his blessing turned curse and raised him and loved him the way his parents would've wanted #I love this fairytale #and the Knight is in the wrong but its kind of sad to see him being reduced down to his worst action #He's a tragedy but there's more to a person than just who they are at their worst #I'm gonna lose my mind when part 5 comes over here im sorry for what I become #twst #twst chapter 7 #twst spoilers #twisted wonderland #twst silver #twst knight of dawn

HEAD IN HANDS,,,, Just realized the profound realization that at Knight of Dawn and Meleanor's fight, I know they'll never talk it out... But I just realized that the story even expresses that fact visually....

throughout their fight and even until their death, they stayed at their "masked" form.

So, in Knight of Dawn's view, Meleanor was just a dragon and why the story makes it seem like he's just "insensitive" to the fact she's a living person too, because in that fight, he viewed her a monstrous dragon because Meleanor fought him as that. And, Dawn as a human, can't possibly interpret Meleanor's language as a dragon, much like how Humans are inept in fae language and why humans are still having a difficult time understanding faes and their morals.

The same thing with Meleanor, Knight of Dawn was in full armor in that time, so in Meleanor's point of view, Knight of Dawn was just "a piece of metals". (Like how Malleus viewed Ortho as just a "metallic technology"). Additionally, Knight of Dawn was a person who seem to want to say many things but never did(?), so Meleanor never heard him—

So their resistance, in giving up their role was expressed in the narrative decision that Meleanor fights as a dragon and Knight of Dawn will fight her in full armor and also he's a person who doesn't speak much especially in battles (much like a "metal").

Dawn was only "understood" somewhat when he crashed to Lilia, causing his head armor to fall off.... causing his "mask" to fall off

Its the little things to me OKAYY 🥹🥹😭😭

Can be seen as a part 3 to these fics: part 1 and part 2 (each part takes place after some time has passed) or can be read as a stand-alone.

“My son, is he loved?”

You startled and looked at the knight in front of you.

He had a look in his eyes, a look that you couldn’t decipher. No, it was a look you couldn’t bring yourself to decipher.

The Knight of Dawn had found you a way home, ironically with the help of the three fairies. The same fairies that would end up giving that fated blessing to Silver in the future.

You thought about his question. You thought about all the people who loved Silver.

“Yes, very loved.” You replied confidently. “He is very, very loved.”

The Knight of Dawn smiled; you tried to keep the tears at bay. Time must run its course, you knew that all too well. That didn’t stop the fragments chipping away from your heart.

The wind picked up and you could tell, the portal home would open soon.

"Thank you for telling me. It brings me peace knowing my son is born in a world of harmony."

Unlike my own, was left unsaid.

And then it opened, your way home. A portal made with swirls of colors.

"YN." You turned, facing the Knight of Dawn, drinking him in one last time.

He raised his hand, and you placed yours gently on top of his. He leaned down and kissed your fingertips. The tears you tried so hard to keep away finally fell.

He pulled you into a hug, shushing you gently as a sob broke through. You whispered his name repeatedly. His name, not his title, but his name you learned as time passed. His name that you would only say when you two were alone and no other ears around. His fingers tangled in your hair; his embrace tightened.

Once you calmed down, he wiped at the drops clinging to your lashes.

"You have to go."

You nodded, pulling away.

"Thank you."

"There is nothing to thank me for. I only wish for your happiness, YN."

You bid him farewell and he returned it back as softly.

You squeezed his hand one last time before stepping towards the portal, returning home to your time.

“Goodbye, my first love.”

I’ve been thinking it over, and I wonder if the Dawn Knight DOESN’T look identical to Silver in reality.

We’re in Lilia’s dream. If the events in Lilia’s dream are accurate, then it means he only saw the Dawn Knight unmasked for a very short period of time. And since we have to remember we’re in the dreamworld, who says the Dawn Knight’s appearance is entirely accurate?

Plus, we see the Dawn Knight unmasked the most through Silver battling the darkness. At one point, Silver even “turns into” the Dawn Knight because he blames himself so much for the biological family he had, that he considers himself to be the villain.

So here’s my thinking: The Dawn Knight does have an appearance similar to Silver, is beautiful and all that, but never look identical to Silver. Lilia is the one dreaming of their similarities, to the point that he can’t help but see Silver in the Dawn Knight’s face. The way he moves, the way he talks, the way he looks: The Dawn Knight is Silver and Silver is the Dawn Knight in Lilia’s eyes.

I’d like to think that this is an unconscious belief on Lilia’s part. After all, he’s raised Silver many, many years after the war, and although he lost his loved ones, he’s seen Silver grow up into his own person. But no matter how long it’s been, something deep inside of him can’t help but see the two as one and the same. His first instinct when he saw baby Silver was to kill him, after all. Although Lilia behaves very differently from the General, it wouldn’t be surprising if Silver just reminded him of the people he lost hundreds of years ago.

The biggest hole in this theory is that it actually would’ve been a perfect moment to reveal the Dawn Knight’s “real face” when he faded away with his Roblox grin haha \(//∇//)\ But I guess Silver would have no way on knowing how the Dawn Knight truly looked like, unless we all decide to hit the history books after the blot fiasco?

This is the only explanation I feel satisfied with -v- There are a bunch of other possibilities, but I don’t see why TWST would make identical characters likes this- even Jade and Floyd are very distinct from each other (visually and personality-wise). It just wouldn’t make sense for a father and son to look this identical, no matter what reincarnation shenanigans is going on 🧐
