aemond always looks at the baby monitor app while he's at work during nap time :) he tries to catch luke singing the babies to sleep when he can

speaking of nap time, whenever luke is taking a nap too and she's big enough, he definitely just puts naerys down in the big bed with him to go to sleep

aerea is the only planned child they have :/// (they don't mind though <3)

aerea sleeps best in complete darkness when she's a baby so they have one of those blackout covers for her travel crib. aemond has to argue with a little blob (her standing up) making angry baby noises at him whenever she's fighting her nap 🥲

through a series of parental missteps, luke and aemond accidentally make the tooth fairy a scary thing in their house

every summer family vacation aerea and baelon embark on a quest to Catch A Seagull. they haven't gotten one yet but they've had enough close calls to keep luke and aemond on their toes

luke and aemond try to enforce a No Pets rule (outside of dragons) for as long as they can because they're petrified one of the dragons will eat whatever the kids bring home. and neither of them want to deal with explaining that to them

(mini idea sparked from the existence of the faratok tree) imagine a version of Hilda without a Lauren encounters a Hilda with a Lauren (and maybe Lauren as well)

Honestly the idea of Lauren meeting canon Hilda specifically is kind of oddly depressing lmao?? because Lauren's whole thing is that she's dedicated herself to helping her family and making life easier for them, so for her to meet a version of Hilda who doesn't have a big sister in her life and nothing really changes? I think that would crush her SDJBHDF

SO if something like this were to happen it wouldn't be able to be canon Hilda, but more of an... offshoot of canon, where Lauren's absence actually has an effect on the characters, but things are similar enough to where its BASICALLY canon Hilda meeting Lauren, does that make sense lol??

Anyways this is a cool concept and I won't lie it was my first thought when the woodman mentioned multiple timelines being a thing in canon LMAO, but I'm not hugely sure how it would play out? Idk what canon Hilda would think abt having a big sister, but I know Lauren would definitley be weirded out by a universe where she just doesn't fucking exist KMJNBH. I think they'd have some adventure they were doin together within the faratok tree in order for them to bond but, not sure what! I might come abck to this idea some day...

had more thoughts on the Qsmp Au i came up with last night:

- Juanaflippa shooting Cucurucho with her gun. it's just a funny mental image to me.

- i had this. idea about Tilin witnessing q!Quackity getting kidnapped. Tilin seeing ElQuackity, who's pretending to be Quackity, and going "You're not my dad. Where is my dad? What did you do to him?"

- Tilin, just in general, refusing to go along with ElQuackity's BS because That's not my father. Stop trying to pretend you're him you're not why did you take my dad away why why why bring him back Please-

- listen. from what i've heard, Maxo is Going Through It, so he deserves to still have a living child. just in general, no more grieving parents. everyone is at least somewhat happier because they've still got their children.

- i have absolutely zero fucking clue how Gegg comes into existence, but here we are.

- the other misc. eggs (A1, the other egg that got found too late) get homes and parents too. for whatever reason, i'm getting the names Arin and Bluebell respectively.

- Arin's accessory would either be a little bandaid on the side of their face or a little yellow flower on their head (a dandelion :]), maybe both, and Bluebell gets a flower crown of forget-me-nots.

- Arin, Tilin, and Juanaflippa (because of Tilin mostly) have formed the "FUCK ElQuackity, All My Homies HATE ElQuackity" Club. good for them <3

- also like. what if the Federation just erased Q's memories anyway, so he comes back and doesn't recognize Tilin anymore. so just. Tilin being so happy that he's finally back only to realize that he doesn't remember them. This Severely Fucks Them Up For Several Reasons.

- i also realized that Tilin is receiving so much angst. i didn't intend for this to happen i swear.

- i've decided that the times that the eggs Would Have died canonically were just really close calls in this au. example, Maxo got to Trump in time, Flippa and Tilin got medical attention in time and were only physically (and mentally) scarred, Arin managed to run away, Bluebell was discovered by Cellbit in time, etc.

- upon realizing that Tilin had no other parent besides Quackity, Slime and Mariana decided that they would also help. Tilin and Flippa were already hanging out so much that they were practically like siblings (and. also pretty much were, but shh), so why not just help with Tilin too?

...well, Slime and Mariana were pretty dysfunctional, but uh. as far as Quackity's concerned, it's the thought that counts, right?

Hi! If lsts Lucerys hadn't gotten pregnant, how do you think Lucemond would have moved forward? How would they have gotten together, if ever? Is it an "All roads lead to Rome" situation where they would've still been sleeping together until a legit relationship (without any detours of dating other people)? Who would've crumbled first?

this is a question they both wonder about themselves!! and may or may not discuss in the semi-near future

i imagine they'd keep doing what they're doing in draconology, the smart and dedicated people that they are. luke eventually graduates. maybe he takes a really prestigious job or phd placement in volantis :) maybe aemond follows him there!! and they finally have a "wtf are we doing" conversation (maybe aemond follows him a few different places, all while swearing up and down he isn't, until they get around to it)

they have naerys, aerea, and baelon as surprise fraternal triplets in their early 30s <3 miraculously with the same appearances and personalities
