Otoya likes video games as much as the next person, but he’s a little shocked when he sees how long his s/o plays at a time! Syo’s the same way with his favorite movies and shows, so it’s just another form of media that they can share with each other. No matter how much he tries, though, he can never remember the name of his s/o’s favorite character.

Cecil sees anything story-driven like that as an opportunity to sharpen his language skills and will ask his s/o if he can play along with them. He’ll go along with whatever route his s/o wants, and he’ll probably get just as invested as his s/o does! He’ll tease his s/o about their choices a bit, and ask if he should be more like the characters, but it’s all in good fun.

He’s actually pretty interested in the background music for some of them and learns the words to their opening themes.

Ai is very fond of games, and when his s/o starts talking about a new one they’ve picked up, his interest is piqued. He’s heard of otome games before, and he knows how dedicated some fans can be. Ai can help his s/o track down hard-to-find pieces of merchandise and knows the best websites for online shopping. He also sends his s/o any piece of news he finds hinting about sequels or new projects.

Camus has absolutely no interest in video games, but after his s/o explains that they’re more story driven than anything else, he starts to appreciate them as a medium a little more. He’ll pop in and watch his s/o play, and he always has quite the commentary to provide when he does so. After a while, his s/o has to shoo him away because although his opinions can be insightful, they’re often a little too much.
