Let’s talk.

Unfortunately, since that 10 minutes live happened, I saw a lot of people on here accusing Taehyung of being an attention seeker. What I fail to understand is WHY and HOW he is considered one. Let’s dissect it in an objective way, mh? (By objective I mean like a human being who lives in a society and knows what is it like to have a friend).

How is Tae attention seeking for mentioning his bandmate, a friend of 10 years? And why is only Tae on the receiving end of this narrative? I’m sure lots of you saw those edits where JK says “taehyungie hyung” like 10 times in ONE live. And what about Jimin? He sure talks a lot about Yoongi AND Jk. And what about Yoongi? He apparently can’t go one Suchwita episode without mentioning Jungkook. So what I’m asking is, why this narrative is only pushed on Taehyung? I’m gonna give you an answer too, don’t worry.

It’s because you think he’s an enemy for your ship, it’s because shipper narratives rotted your brain so much that you over analyze and point fingers at Tae because you see him as someone who stays in the middle of your ship. You go as far as calling him liar, attention seeker, for mentioning a member when ALL of them do the same all the time, and the times the other members namedrops him is way MORE than the times Tae mentions someone else, so what I’m asking you today is to do some introspection and maybe realize that you don’t like Taehyung that much if every time he moves you find ways to make him an enemy and a villain.

And beside, wouldn’t it be better finally admitting it to yourself instead of hiding behind a “I like all of BTS members BUT…”?

Taennie or Taekook? It's neither.

So, some of my thoughts on this whole taennie thing... You can't say "nothing is confirmed/real until Taehyung says so" and "Taekook is real" in the same breath. You're contradicting yourself. To mention my previous post on shipping, I still firmly stand by what I said: I think it's fine to have your suspicions/suspect that something is real, but you are to take the opinions and words of BTS/BlackPink at face value and accept them for what they are. You can think that Taehyung is dating Jennie, but it's still their private life (and yes, enunciating their, because many people tend to forget that Jennie is very much a part of this equation), so their words (or the lack thereof) should be respected and considered the truth.

Fans should never speak in absolutes about things they cannot necessarily confirm to be true.

(also using 0.0023 seconds of eye-contact as proof (but they're just so full of love, OP!) is extremely silly and needs to stop. are you a trained pupil specialist? get your ass a career in optometry!)

Furthermore, if we are to apply this situation outside of a heteronormative lens, one could argue that handholding between any gender can be seen as platonic or romantic. A woman holding a man's hand does not necessarily mean they're involved, the same way that a man holding another man's hand doesn't mean they're dating. It's almost as if many different types of relationships exist -- and even if certain actions fall within the expectations of a society/culture, nothing is entirely concrete. K-pop fans are far too comfortable with blatantly saying "In Korea--" or "Koreans think--" without actually ever stepping foot within Korea or acclimating themselves to the many vibrant colors of the Korean culture and people.

You can make guesstimates, hypotheses, or speculations based on the evidence at hand, but without running a proper trial(s) or getting information from a primary source, your evidence cannot be declared as fact. It's basic science. Good luck calling Taehyung up and asking if he's dating worldwide pop sensation Kim Jennie or Jeon Jungkook.

Even if there appears to be a 99% chance of something being true, we should still take into consideration that 1% of it is still left unaccounted for.

So is Taekook real? No. Is Taennie real? No. If Taehyung tells us that he's dating the moon, we should congratulate him for falling into its orbit. End of story.

Also, it's embarrassing to send out a #WeLoveYouTaehyung tweet with #TaekookReal also attached to it. Real ironic -- read the room.

Replace "[insert ship] is Real" with "I have reasons to believe that they might be a couple, but I can't confirm it."

Hi! Why is so much more emphasis put by the editors and fandom on Vmin being the 95z, chingu, and the closest duo, when Joon and Hobi are also same age friends? Is it a popularity thing, or because of less skinship? Btw, just asking, I love both relationships.

I do not know! My guess would be probably because Vmin lean into that label so much more and so heavily, along with just both being touchy people and having some of the most skinship in the group overall. Lol

They do anything and you'll see them go "it's because we are chingus" or "it's because we are soulmates" Namseok, while they hold a highly close and comfortable bond that is just as beautiful in its own unique ways, don't go around doing that. Lol But their bond is super comfortable, and that does stem from them also being Chingus, Yoongi once also stated that he wished he could have a chingu in the group like namseok or vmin did because of the ease of bonding that relationship can provide.

But yeah, my best guess would simply be that it's because Vmin embrace that label and added to it (soulmates) and also are very loud about how much they love each other. BTS themselves in the early years named Vmin as the best duo of the group. Literally all 5 other members answered Vmin immediately. Lol before also telling them to stop fighting all the time too. Lol

And the other members have continued to talk about how their friendship is unique, even Namjoon. Part of his own chingu set.

So I think the attention on vmin being chingu and best friends and soulmates, honestly just comes from Vmin themselves, not necessarily a popularity thing or skinship thing. Although bow touchy vmin are probably plays into it a bit too. Lol I think they just want everyone to know how much they love each other. Tae in particular seems to love talking about Jimin and getting to introduce him as his best friend. Honestly it sometimes gives "that's my best friend, she a real bad bitch" vibes and man do people make killer vmin edits to that song lol

But that's just my guess. Both sets of chingus are adorable together and I'm so glad they have each other and get to have that bond together. Vmin definitely just seem to be more vocal about it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope that makes sense!

Taehyung and jungkook's relationship is overlooked by 90% of the fandom solely because they are so controlled by the narrative of the fandom/company that they cannot quite accept that anything outside is even a remote possibility. Ive been more of a quiet observer for years now [my sister's an army since 2015] and I've seen the boys, moreover I know how marketing and kpop works. It's quite evident if u observe close enough of the pattern on how this group of seven guys who genuinely love music is marketed you would understand to what extent you're being brainwashed. Im not talking about this like a conspiracy theorist. It's quite simple and right infront of you. Yall refuse to accept it that's all.

1. There are a certain set of stories that are made to be told by them, over and over again. Even if it disturbs them or they are bored. E.g: 2018 disbandment story, vmin dumpling incident, jikook rain fight/tokyo trip, mind you there are many things that happend between people who lived together for 10+ yrs but if it cuts the flow of events you are made to believe happened you aren't gonna hear from it, ever.

2. Like stories there are dynamics that each pair is supposed to portray Taegi as annoying/annoyed duo, taejin/jikook as flirty HS boyfriends, namseok/taekook the awkward old friends and no matter how much the relationships change or evolve you won't see it cuz again, it won't FIT the narrative that has already been shown.

3. Like relationships there are characteristics that thankfully some members chose to break out of during their solo era: hoseok always being sunshine and loud ( he's quite serious and very dedicated infact ), jungkook being that muscle dude who only knows how to follow his Hyungs ( he's very independent and has a lot of targets he wants to achieve individually, he's very thoughtful and organized) and Taehyung being WEIRD and weak ( he's extremely intelligent and super strong he's strategic and disciplined)

4. This brings us to the whole Taekook narrative, the fact that they've been seen so much during solo era yet people had the audacity to still call them distant and awkward solely cuz it wasn't via company but through Taehyung's ig or jungkook mentioning him in interviews etc. I think it's needless to say they aren't comfortable being touchy and showy on camera for content, hell if they were to shoot everytime Taehyung and jungkook hangout there would he enough CONTENT till 2067. They're supportive of eo and have a very big shared friend circle, when jungkook went missing for almost 2 months we got to know Taehyung was the one he was with.

5. The thing is everyone [ including my own sister ] thinks that Taehyung is being desperate or such whenever he mentions Taehyung cuz a. Yall have actually led jokers run so fucking rampant that everytime the man mentions him actually doing something you're ready to throw him under the bus and call him a liar or such. b. Im not saying jungkook isn't close to anyone else but when he isn't working or shooting content and just wants to be himself the one you saw him most was around Taehyung and yes it matters. In the name of hating shippers yall have not only dissed the quite frankly PRIVATE bond they seem to share but went as far as dissing Taehyung himself cuz of the extreme level of manipulation yall are under.

Ik imma find armys [jikookers ]under this sooner or later calling me names but to be honest I'm sick and tired of yall dissing very real people and their very real human relationships solely based off the content yall are made to believe is 100% candid. Go touch grass, get friends, go date, don't obsess over them for a while then come back and try seeing it from a neutral perspective.
