Hi! Today I made Whitestorm's design!! I made Whitestorm thinking of a cat with a lot of hair and curly hair to give the impression that he is made of snow :> I also wanted to put some small spots on his muzzle and ears to give him another color, in addition to his eyebrows which are whiter~

you know what could be an interesting warriors au?

everything is the same until the battle in the darkest hour. scourge defies starclan's prophecy and takes all of firestar's lives, but lionclan still wins with all 4 clans on one side. whitestorm becomes leader, barely hanging onto life after the fight with bone. he's not well but thunderclan doesn't have anyone else to step up as leader.

i can't remember if greystripe officially comes back to thunderclan by that point, but with his best friend dead, he chooses to go with riverclan to be with his kits.

i thought of this au simply to spite the erins for that whitestorm wasn't even that old (he's considered a senior at 6 years old while his cousin mistystar lives to 15? like, okay.). also because he deserves it. his family is gone and cursed so he puts it right. perhaps his three children get more important roles as well.

im going to annoy you with one of my warrior cats opinions, but its a shame they didn’t do more with Whitestorm because oh my god one glance at his family tree and the missed potential is INSANE. youre telling me this man is the son of Thistleclaw, the nephew of Bluestar, AND the father of Ashfur and they never expanded on any of that?!?!? the way Warrior Cats loves family drama i can’t believe it

not only does thinking about whitestorm losing his mom as a kit send me into a deep depression, but the entire scene of bluefur needing to break the news to him in her super edition makes me want to scream and cry. like i am emotionally invested in whitestorm, they could have totally done more.

iirc whitestorm was deputy for a hot minute there which i did really like… until he was killed-

A moon into his warriorhood, Fireheart has a horrific dream — a kit on the thunderpath wailing for help. He leaps from the treeline to save the kit from the oncoming monster, but he awakes before he can even be sure he make contact with the poor kitten’s body.

He mentions it offhand to Bluestar when he fetches her fresh-kill the following afternoon. He’s pleasantly surprised when his leader’s eyes flash with sympathy. She lets him sit beside her, and she tells him that every cat suffers from nightmares of the thunderpath. Bluestar grooms down a tuft of orange fur from between Fireheart’s ears as she reveals that she lost her littermate, Whitestorm’s mother, to the strike of a monster. She confides that it took the both of them many moons to even go near the east border because of their memories.

Fireheart offers his condolences, and Bluestar accepts them gratefully.

Moons later, when the path claims another victim in Cinderpaw’s leg, Bluestar and Whitestorm sit beside Fireheart while they wait for Yellowfang to give them her verdict. The groom him, they rest their chins on his shoulders when exhaustion consumes him. They reassure him that he is not to blame for this horrible accident.

Tigerclaw critiques his methods silently. What a fool he was to think Bluestar would just run into his trap.
