… that’s the thing about reading in different perspectives. everyone has their own opinion in things and they all view a situation differently even if they did encounter that experience at the same time.

that’s the thing about books, to get us aware on the different side of things and have sympathy and empathy about it.

when I was rereading ACOTAR-ACOSF, I understood both Feyre’s and Nesta’s pain. I don’t hate either of them. I love both of them. I like how we’re able to hear both sisters POV even if Nesta’s was only a one book. What Nesta went through was brutal and she had her ways to deal with it, just like Feyre.

not to mention that they’re SISTERS. have any of y’all have siblings and y’all went through the same event but had very different experiences/feelings/memories? I do and I did.

So when Elain said, “I went to the Cauldron too, you know?…” That’s the author telling us all of the three sisters have gone through traumatic events but each have different ways to cope, deal and heal.

when you read something, you’re not going to have your favorite character make the same choices as you. because ✨you’re✨ not dealing with them, they (the book characters) are.

So, stop saying “oh i would’ve done this. said this. be with that.” you’re you. that characters in book is their own person. and yes, they’re fictional but this can happen in the real world.
