While doing the layers over the original image, I left Spamton's glasses transparent so I could insert static behind them, & with the underlying original image layer at the bottom layer, I accidentally got THIS creepy funny sad thing going on, where Barbie's pitiful, real eyes show through Spamton's glasses! XDDD (MAJOR Scopophobia warning!)

Spamton's [Anger Management Service]

If you beat Spamton (normal form) with violence instead of taking the deal, he implies that he lets people pay to beat him up... 😰

This Werewerewire takes out his anger on Spamton monthly to avoid lashing out at his family. He overdid it a bit this time, so he added extra pay to cover Spamton's medical bills (plus a bit more, out of guilt).

Not a healthy dynamic, but going by his canon nature, Spamton would rather take advantage of a harmful situation than try to fix it, if he can benefit from it. He desperately needs the money, & having regular "customers" would give him at least SOME bit of stability in his stressful, uncertain life.

He's already suffering, so hey, a little more that he can actually get paid for is no [Big Deal], right? 😢

(I just GOTTA finish my WIPs, so I'm gonna try to content myself with rough sketches rather than only clean crisp lines. No more unattainable perfectionism! Phew!)

So on Twitter, I tried to give tips on how to draw long-nosed Addisons kissing, but realized I'd need a visual aid, so after SUCH a long time not drawing, I started scribbling in MS Paint. Then realized I'd need layers, so I moved to my other computer to use Clip Studio Paint (I'm still kind of migrating slowly between my old Windows 8.1 laptop & my new Windows 10 tower PC).

But well, the hardcore aro-ace I am, I've never drawn lip-kissing humanoids, EVER! Soooo talk about starting on Hard Mode, LOL! 😅 (But these random Addison OCs smooching turned out kinda cute. :3 I think I'll call them Lily I. Pad & Ivy N. Droid [both they/she]. Yeah, cross-platform mobile device romance. 😚)

Advice on using these as references under the Read More.

The first two are performed by having the chins close together & foreheads further apart, letting the noses slide by each other, up each others' foreheads. Variants showing how they can remain close to center, or slide a bit to the side.

Then two more variants. The left ones are the intended viewing side, & the right ones are layer-swaps to show that no major facial deformity has to happen, even on a character more towards the background, for these poses to work without poking any eyes, even with less extreme nose-bending (& of course, implying that their noses flex to the side. It doesn't have to impact the aesthetic of the art work).

Once again, tipping their foreheads closer together lets you have their noses go under each others' eyes, while tipping their chins toward each other can give room for their noses to flex upward (above the eyes).

With 2D, you can take some liberties. Don't worry about it too hard, & just make 'em kith~! 😘

It figures... I suddenly feel SO inspired to draw, when I'm sick with C0v1d & need to be laying down, what the heck?! 😵 Anyways, here, have a REALLY world-worn Spamton, who has no time for anyone else's shenanigans. 😼

(A bit of process & request for opinions concerning my multiple WIPs under the Read More)

I keep having SOOOO many WIPs, largely because though I usually set out to just do simple drawings, I end up accidentally making some details really realistic (despite having a preference for a simple anime style), so then I feel like I need to make ALL of the image have super realistic details too… but then I can't live up to those other parts despite months of work... but I'm too proud of those bits so I don't want to get rid of them… but aaajdsfhajdsfh…. 😖

And well, it happened again here. But I kept on actually enjoying experimenting this time, in spite of the software being such an obstacle (Clip Studio Paint can do so many cool things, but jeeeezzzz the interface is HORRIBLE & everything's INCONSISTANT, GAAAHHH!!!!), & so I ended up with this purposeful abomination. The mixture of simple & detailed textures, & decided I was OK with it this time.

But uhhh… IS this ok? Do y'all think I can release other works too if they have some detailed parts mixed in with simple parts kind of like this? (Even just thumbs-up or thumbs-down in the Replies would give me an idea of consensus.)

Cuz then maybe I wouldn't end up going like, a year between pieces… 😓 But I want people to enjoy them too… :'3

I have... NO IDEA why I started drawing this... I guess it dawned on me that Spamton's upper outfit is very similar to Gaster's, so I wanted to see what a mix would look like. And it's kind of funny that fusing their names comes up with GASTON. 😅 I spent... DAYS trying to do a background that would work well enough with it, agonized over gray levels due to everyone having such different monitors & I wanted to make sure his body & hair would be visible... Ended up just going with a plain black background and (hopefully) safe shade of gray. The code strings took a lot of work because I couldn't find a custom paintbrush to do the effect for me, had to improvise. This looks so simple, but ended up with so much invisible effort... Oh well, I STILL finished it, so yay! Oh well... Enjoy this strange, sad abomination. (Included both glasses versions: Black, & Code)

I couldn't tell if it was a bow tie or an apron tie. So, I figured... What if he wears BOTH?! EDIT: aadfajsdhfsja, NOW INCLUDES HIS CHEEK SPOTS!!!! I KNEW I was forgetting SOMETHING!!! Fixed now! (Along with shading the text on his coffee cup, & fixing the capitalization on the last bracketed text to fit the more usual pattern.)

I'm making a Deltarune comic & realized I need to figure out how to draw Swatchlings. So, I experimented a bit. I'm opting for simpler-is-better, still a bit different than these ones, but I kinda liked a few of them.
