Despite having countless other unfinished drawings, I started and finished this one in a whole night. And was a little experimental with it. I didn’t even properly do lineart… it’s just a neat sketch.

Based on a drawing I did back in the 10th grade, in the corner of my sketchbook.

Improvement I guess.

Spamton's [Anger Management Service]

If you beat Spamton (normal form) with violence instead of taking the deal, he implies that he lets people pay to beat him up... 😰

This Werewerewire takes out his anger on Spamton monthly to avoid lashing out at his family. He overdid it a bit this time, so he added extra pay to cover Spamton's medical bills (plus a bit more, out of guilt).

Not a healthy dynamic, but going by his canon nature, Spamton would rather take advantage of a harmful situation than try to fix it, if he can benefit from it. He desperately needs the money, & having regular "customers" would give him at least SOME bit of stability in his stressful, uncertain life.

He's already suffering, so hey, a little more that he can actually get paid for is no [Big Deal], right? 😢

(I just GOTTA finish my WIPs, so I'm gonna try to content myself with rough sketches rather than only clean crisp lines. No more unattainable perfectionism! Phew!)

Spamton NEO's Ravenous Heart

I was trying to find inspiration to finish my HUGE collection of Spamton WIPs languishing since last September... I then decided I'd just try to do a whole new pic from scratch, & on purpose, make it imperfect & rough. That, combined with listening to aggressive metal music, randomly drove me to draw this super edgy take on Spamton NEO's Chained Heart.

Poor sharp boi, he's been through a lot. But that's what makes him (& his owner) so tough!

I wanted this piece to end up with a sort of 1990s punk feel, & experimented with textures & various effects until I really liked how it turned out, without as much work as it could've been otherwise. And that made the imperfections feel welcome. I'm proud of this gnarly little dude!

While working on this, I felt compelled to add tons of detail. Which usually is what kills all my WIPs... But this time, I said to myself, I'll channel all my wish for detail into THIS pic, & make the rest more simple.

And it worked! I was able to finish a second drawing as well (which, well, was already detailed by then, but I was just agonizing over the coloring, & finally worked it out). So, this bad boy & all his cracks & scars got me going! & now I also organized the rest of my WIPs so they'll be easier for me to dive back into.

I've also switched to Clip Studio Paint for now, mostly because for some reason SAI has gotten laggy on me. :( I LOVE the default pen in CSP, & it has great potential for accessibility features... but DANG do SO many other aspects need adjustments, & the interface is SO unintuitive! GAH! But... I know enough to make use of it, so I'll keep trying.

I’ve been catching up with all the Deltarune theories and theme analysis that came out since chapter 2. And what surprise, the one that immediately caught my attention was the “Papyrus is the knight” theories, cos, ya know, I love him very much.

As for if I believe in the theories? Meh, Imma let Toby surprise me rather than speculate. So, see this more of an AU or headcanon than what I think will actually be happening in game.

Still, this tickled the creative side of my brain so you can bet you can find a loooong ass ramble here if you wanna know more about this AU/headcanon of mine.

late thought abt undertale but listen, lots of people talked about intention to kill/violence itself making the hits powerful in great genius detail and then a lot of people made jokes abt 1 hp sans dying from Papyrus passing him the remote so what im saying is for monsters, as long as you dont intend to hurt someone you can use as much force as you like and they wont be harmed so you get hilarious scenarios like hyped up Undyne punching sans through a wall into the living room and Toriel and him have a “Hi Ron” “Hey Billy.” situation. Toriel drunk chucking pizzas at him so hard that one that misses him breaks clean out of the window hes just sitting there smiling fondly. 1 hp sans is safe because he is surrounded with people that love him

Idea: Kris hides their eyes behind their hair because they don't want their "strange" eye colour to make people think they're even weirder than they already do. If the player/soul uses Kris to become friends with everyone, it eventually forcibly uses scissors to trim Kris' bangs so that their eyes can always be seen, and they absolutely hate it
