I hide under the bed. I hear footsteps.

The Holo Caster has ears and it listens to me. It listens and it tracks me. How did that woman find me? How did she know who I am and who I used to be? Unless there's a Flare Spy in our group— that could be why Trevor dismissed me so quickly.

Maybe Trevor was only getting close to me to get information out of me.

Maybe he's right and I really am being paranoid.

I can't let him get to my head! I can't! If he does, who knows what Team Flare will come up with next... Oh... Oh, I hate this! I thought I was safe! Oh , what a stupid thought; what a careless and naive brain I still have! I hate this!

I hear foot steps. I hear sounds like those of my group's. I grit my teeth, curling up tightly and hoping they don't check beneath the bed.

I'm hidden.

I hear Ai's voice on the other side of the door. The door clicks open. I see the footsteps and shut my eyes. Then I hear Serena. And Shauna. And Tierno. I don't hear Trevor, but I saw his shoes when I opened my eyes.

I try not to let my breathing get heavy, but I want to hurl. I want to hurl I hate this. I hate this.

Leave me alone... Leave me alone... Why couldn't I have been born normal..?
