Companions favorite Disney movie?
A/N: Howdy, howdy, folks! I know it's been a while, but I hope y'all enjoy these! 🥰💙💛 I've been extremely busy and have sort of lost motivation for this fandom, but I'm going to try to play Fo4 soon and see if I can muster up some more motivation 😊 I still have some fanfic to write and some reactions to do and I've got to get my butt in gear!
Cait - Brave. It might seem like the obvious choice because, well... ginger twinsies.... But she loves it because of the constant action and the fact that Merida wields a sword and a bow while also riding a horse often at the same time. She also secretly sort of finds herself vicariously living through Merida and wishing she would have had a family like hers with parents that actually loved her.
Curie - Inside Out. It's sciency and presents a fun, creative way of examining the brain's functions. She would prefer that Disney be more realistic, but despite her slight disappointment, she also understands that it has to be presented in a child-friendly way that would keep a kid's attention. A close second for her would be Big Hero 6. Honey Lemon is her hero.
Piper - Zootopia. She finds herself very much relating to Judy Hopps most days. Just a girl in a big city and a big world with the chips stacked against her and hardly anyone on her side as she fights the good fight. She also enjoys Judy's optimistic, sarcastic, energetic spirit that she upkeeps in the face of adversity. It's something that Piper herself has done her best to maintain.
MacCready - Finding Nemo. As a concerned dad with a struggling young son of his own, he can relate to this movie greatly. Plus, a bonus is that he likes to mess with F!Sole about being Dory, which she never seems to appreciate nearly as much as he does most days.
Deacon - The Emperor's New Groove. All of the jokes and the lightheartedness of the overall movie is totally Deacon's style. He always quotes the movie afterward and drives everyone at HQ crazy with his rather awful impression of Yzma.
Codsworth - Flubber. He sort of is crushing on Weebo the robot assistant. Granted, he says he has no sort of manner in which to facilitate such feelings since he is not programmed to feel things like that, but he raves over her enough that everyone can see he clearly has some manner of feelings.
Hancock - A Bug's Life. He doesn't really know why, but it cracks him up every time he turns it on. Of course, he's usually high when he's watched it, but that's not the important part. The important thing is that it's anti-grasshoppers and after the stuff he saw at Nuka-World, that suits him just fine.
Danse - Toy Story. He would rather die than admit it, but he likes the movie for the odd reason that he heavily relates to the spaceman. His perspective on life and his soldier-like dedication to his mission is truly outstanding. He also strangely relates to him in many ways, but he's not quite sure why.
Preston - Brother Bear. He enjoys the deep feelings and meaning behind the film. It's such an underrated yet good film and it has a really great sound track as well. He also has a strange affinity for Toy Story because of Woody and his steady dependability.
Valentine - Old Yeller. It's traditional and it has that sense of old-timey living that Nick can appreciate. He also enjoys the deep emotional quality of the film and the fact that it's about a good, loyal, brave dog. Kind of like Dogmeat.
X6-88 - Maleficent. He enjoys her sense of humor and her sense of taking care of business and revenge when people do her wrong. However, his favorite non-Disney movie is The Matrix. He firmly believes the coursers' design is based on Morpheus and he secretly thinks he looks like him most out of the courser models.
Dogmeat - The Fox and the Hound. He loves nothing more than to howl along with the dog on there. Finally a movie that actually has a character that speaks his language! The dog also actually successfully befriends other animals in a way that Dogmeat never seems to do too well since they're always trying to stomp on him or kill him. He also is a fan of Bolt.
Strong - Monster's Inc. Firstly, Strong doesn't like movies. They're confusing and make no sense because what do you mean those things are not really there? They're standing right in front of him! But he likes Monster's Inc more than most because Mike Wazowski looks like a super-mutant. An ugly, one-eyed freak super-mutant, but nevertheless one of his kind.

Hey! I'm doing good and I hope you're doing wonderfully, too! To tell you the absolute truth, I've just been ridiculously busy and I ran fresh out of motivation for reacts so I kinda disappeared and I'm sorry about that 😅💖 It gets hard to say when I'll be gone for a while because I never know when the motivation's going to hit or how long I'll be gone when I'm just taking a small break 😅😬
However, I am starting to do some requests for drabbles, so if any of y'all would be interested in requesting any of those, please refer to the pinned post on my @simwoman2002 blog (my main) and feel free to send in a platonic request from the pinned list for Nora + any of the Fallout girls 💖 I'll reply with a link to your requested fic where I post it on AO3 🥰
I really do appreciate you checking on me 💗💗💗 This fandom really is filled with some of the sweetest people that I've ever come into contact with across any fandom I've been in 🥰 Y'all are the best 🥺

Alright, this might be a bit of a lengthy one, but: When Nora leaves Vault 111 to find Shaun, Nate isn't in the cryo pod across from her. Later, she finds a 90+ year old version of him, somehow still alive, having given up searching for their kid (more out of old age then losing hope). How do the companions (and Nora) react to that?
I don't think I've ever had a request that asked to include how Nora would react to something, but honestly I am so super excited that I finally got one 💖💖💖 I've always wondered what it would be like to write Nora's POV on some of these reacts, so I guess I'll tear out and go 🥰 I'll probably stick with the version of Nora that I usually play as, so hopefully everyone enjoys!
Nora - Is absolutely shocked to find her husband alive and well. While she knew that he had somehow managed to get out and live, she had not expected to find him after all these years. She had not known what had happened to him, and she had been afraid to even consider the possibility that he was alive. She is overjoyed to find her Nate, and (presuming this is after getting into the Institute) she assures him that she has found their son. Despite being quite a different man than the one she fell in love with, him having gone through some grave hardship when he was wandering the wastelands and trying to find Shaun, he is still very happy to hear the news.
Cait - Is honestly angry that he gave up looking for Shaun because Nora has spent only a comparatively short fraction of her life looking and turning over every rock to find Shaun and succeeded. She ends up chalking it up to the fact that Nora must be immensely more intelligent than him if only to keep from completely boiling over while Nora is talking with him. She truthfully thinks that he was not as dedicated to finding the kid as Nora was and that she deserves better.
Curie - Is very pleased that Madame has found her husband and the remainder of her family and does not blame Nate for stopping his search to find Shaun. However, most primarily, she is interested in potentially running some tests to see how radiation and the elements have affected Nate since he started out as clean as Nora did in the vault. She wants to know how it affects him and how she could possibly formulate some manner of solution to keep it from affecting Nora quite so profoundly over time.
Piper - Is as shocked as Nora, but she is happy for her Blue. She kind of wonders how he did not find some clue about their son's whereabouts during his search, but she figures that Nora is just one special, one-of-a-kind sort of person when it comes to literally everything. Nora has unrivaled talent, and she is the most amazing person that Piper's known, so it's no surprise that she managed to find Shaun when Nate could not.
MacCready - Is very happy for the two, and truthfully relates to Nate a lot. He knows what it's like to be the father of a son, and he cannot imagine what it would be like to lose Duncan and have to go searching all over the Commonwealth just to come up with nothing. He understands why Nate stopped the search and does not blame him.
Deacon - Is not terribly surprised. After all, nothing much surprises him anymore. He's heard and seen so many things as a result of his spying on everyone in the Commonwealth. Plus, he had actually heard about someone that sort of sounded like Nate, and he had been the one to tell Nora about it, leading them to look for him and eventually find him. He's just glad that Nora has her family back in some way or another. Even if her husband and her son are both old codgers and she looks like their granddaughter and daughter respectively.
Codsworth - Is positively overjoyed to find sir! He is alive and that means that their family can be reunited! They just have to convince young Shaun-- erm... Shaun-- to come out of that dreadful underground hole and join them on the surface. He does not focus on anything else but the possibility of bringing the family home safe in Sanctuary and living out the remainder of their days there.
Hancock - Is pleased for Nora, but is honestly very much the opposite of pleased at the fact that Nate had given up the search for Shaun. Hancock is a man that will never stop even if it kills him, and to think of Sunshine being hooked up with some quitter after seeing how much of a fighter that she is, he cannot help but find himself slightly disappointed. He tries to push that feeling aside, though, knowing that Nate means quite a bit to Nora.
Danse - Is somewhat unhappy with the fact that Nate had given up searching for Shaun. Danse is a firm believer in not quitting, but on the other hand, he also can see why one would stop when the search was fruitless. It is a waste of resources. However, when one is a single person in the wasteland looking for one's son, he does not exactly understand why someone would stop. Danse himself did not stop looking when he lost someone he cared about to the harshness of the world around them.
Preston - Is extremely surprised to find that Nora's husband is still alive, and he is not upset with the fact that Nate gave up the search. He's only an old man now, and Preston would have been more upset if he would have given up out of a lack of hope for Shaun. As it is, he just hopes that the man will keep living for a while longer so he can maybe somehow see his son before he passes.
Valentine - Is mostly just sad for Nora in some ways despite his surprise at Nate still being alive. He remembered meeting him many years ago, but after their brief search turned up with absolutely nothing and no leads, Nate had just disappeared, presumably to further the search. He just hates for Nora to have to see the man that she is in love with in this terrible state. Especially since her son does not look much better. He cannot help but think of how terribly painful it must be for her to see in such clarity that she is going to almost certainly outlive her family.
X6-88 - Is mildly surprised since he believed that Nora was the only surviving relative of Father. Father had assumed that his dad had passed away due to the hardships of the wasteland. X6-88 is not overly impressed with Father's dad, especially since he apparently lacks the tenacity that Nora possesses. Ultimately, he does not say much but remains polite, deciding to report to Father about this later.
Dogmeat - Does not know him, but he understands that his human seems extremely fond of him. He can smell the love and the emotions pouring off of her. Therefore, Dogmeat decides that Nate must be another one of those people that he needs to protect because they mean something to his human. And protect, he shall. Plus, the man gives really good ear scratches, so he has definitely earned points with Dogmeat.
Strong - Does not care in the least about this entire thing. If Nate doesn't have or lead them to the milk of human kindness, he truthfully has no interest. He just wishes that his tiny human would hurry up and leave so they can keep searching. Plus, he's hungry. Maybe he could just eat Nate...

Hello I hope you are doing well. Are you still doing Fallout 4 companions react? If you are I got a funny one for you. How would the companions react to someone telling the Sole Survivor to act her age, and she immediately plays dead.
Thank you! I'm doing quite well, and I hope you are, too! I hope you enjoy this one! 🥰 I know I loved writing it 😂
Cait - Despite the fact that she is utterly fuming at the person who had dared tell F!Sole that, she cannot help but snort in amusement when she understands the reason she fell to the ground. F!Sole's sense of humor is undyingly (no pun intended) awful and literal, but it is a nice way to put the person in their place.
Curie - Misses the joke at first and is immediately at F!Sole's side, worrying for her health because people don't collapse for no reason. However, when she understands the joke, she does find it rather funny, but only after she has ensured Madame's safety.
Piper - Almost immediately falls to the ground laughing with her Blue because her naturally smart-mouthed self INSTANTLY gets it. However, she manages to hold herself together long enough to make a sarcastic quip to the rude person saying something along the lines of "Ask and ye shall receive."
MacCready - Takes him a second to get it, but he cannot help but find it extremely funny when he does. He laughs a little as he gives the person the stink-eye until they go away and leave him and his "dead" friend alone.
Deacon - Falls to the ground with her before he fully understands the joke. No explanations or anything, he just goes and plays dead alongside her just to further mess with the person that had told her to act her age. He's always in for a good prank.
Codsworth - Laughs happily. The joke doesn't take long to occur to him, and he is more than eager to support her attempts to ward off the haters. He scolds the person, making sure to make a few clever comments himself.
Hancock - Would have just assumed stab them as look at them for saying something like that to F!Sole, but when she fell to the ground in response, he waits for just a couple of beats, trying to figure out what she's doing. As soon as it dawns on him, he is instantly cackling loudly and unashamedly at her clever way of putting the person in their place.
Danse - Is somewhat embarrassed and terribly taken off-guard by the display. He is instantly dragging her up and leaving because this is not an honorable sort of way to represent the Brotherhood or if it's Post-BB, it's not a way to conduct oneself in public regardless. -5/10, not outstanding.
Preston - Is somewhat shocked that his general is behaving this way, but it is slightly funny despite his reservations about how this must represent the Minutemen. He just sort of looks away awkwardly until she is done.
Valentine - Just sighs tiredly and he gets it instantly. However, he can't help enjoying the joke despite the ridiculousness of the entire thing. After a few moments, he asks her if acting his age was dead, too, and if he should go ahead and join her.
X6-88 - Is terribly unamused. This is a waste of time. It would have been more fitting to simply threaten the person or skip the formalities and simply shoot them. But he lets her have her fun despite how silly it is.
Dogmeat - Does not understand the humor and is instantly confused and a little concerned when she falls over. He sniffs her carefully, trying to figure out if she is alright. However, when he sees she's okay, he barks excitedly, taking the opportunity to lick her face now that she's more conveniently at his level.
Strong - Is instantly confused and he kicks her side a little to see if she's really alive or if she just fell over dead for real. When she quickly comes back to life to assure him of her livelihood, he gets angry. "Why tiny human pretend to be dead when NOT dead?!!! MAKES NO SENSE!!!"

Tarzan and Jane
A/N: Okay, so I couldn’t help myself. I finished clearing the Safari park thing in Nuka World and Cito is literally Tarzan. Like I was getting major vibes, and I think Nora was like his Jane. Obviously not in her eyes, but kinda in his lol.
But here’s my weird little rendition of Cito and Nora in a Tarzan and Jane sort of way with Piper added in for a little humor in the midst of all these feels 😅💗
Hope y’all enjoy! 💖💖💖
Word Count: 1.7k+
It was all over. They had shut down the cloning facility and Nora had managed to help Cito save his family.
It had come time to decide what to do about him because she was not entirely sure how he would handle it when she inevitably got rid of the raiders and hopefully got some settlers moved in around the Nuka World parks.
Ultimately, she offered him the chance to stay, telling him that she had some new friends that would probably be moving in sometime soon. He had trusted her and agreed.
Now was the matter of saying goodbye, which was pretty rough in itself. Mostly because he kept trying to speak to her and find reasons to keep her there for longer.
She at long last sighed, deciding to finally tell him how things were going to have to be.
  “Cito, I really have to—”
“New friend,” Cito interrupted before pausing, seemingly struggling with how to phrase the words he was looking for.
Nora patiently waited for him, just watching him as his surprisingly intelligent blue eyes shifted around in thought with his furrowed brows shadowing them.
He extended his hand and placed it on her chest, spreading it.
Nora could feel Piper and Dogmeat watching carefully. Piper was not entirely comfortable with him, but she did not say anything. Both of them knew the gesture was mostly pure and he likely was not thinking of it in some sort of inappropriate manner considering Nora’s breasts.
Nora touched his hand, covering it with her own as she watched him and waited for him to utter his next words.
“New friend… have name?” Cito questioned finally, meeting her eyes with that same intensity that he seemed to always have. His gaze was warm and sweet with nothing but affection there. There was a certain presence of desire there as well, and Nora felt her heart hurting for him.
A human raised among gorillas… She was likely the first of his kind that he had seen since he was a small child. It was no wonder that he had a hint of desire and want in his eyes. He wanted human companionship in a way that his gorilla family could not exactly give him.
Nevertheless, Nora forced a smile, looking at him softly as her honey-greens met his deep blues.
“I’m Nora,” she introduced softly. Cito tilted his head slightly, searching her face carefully as he observed her.
“Nora,” he tried out carefully. He then grinned widely, that adorable innocence shining through.
  “Nora!” he excitedly declared.
He moved his hand from her chest, grabbing her own as he pulled her forward toward the gorillas that were not too far off.
Nora huffed a little and could not help grinning bittersweetly in spite of herself as she paused next to him. His hand was still outstretched and holding hers, but he crouched down next to his family as he looked up at her.
“Nora stay with family. Stay with Cito,” Cito offered happily, a smile on his face where he was crouched down with the gorillas.
Nora looked down, dropping her chin to her chest. She dreaded having to tell him no. It was not that she thought there would be any physical consequences, but she would hate to see the heartbroken look on his face.
Since she had met him a day or two ago, she had the overwhelming urge to try to help him somehow and to try to take care of him. It was something she always felt when it came to hopeless people or ones that were in need. She had helped him, but now that it was time to part ways, she did not want to leave him behind.
But at the same time, she knew she could not ask him to leave his family to join her and hers, but she also knew that she could not stay. They both had people that depended on them, so it would never work for one of them to join the other.
“I can’t,” she expressed, despising every syllable as she uttered them.
His smile faded just a little. He stood up slowly, towering over her a little despite the fact that he was not very intimidating when one came to know him. Nora lifted her head to look at him, trying to keep a smile on her face.
“Cito… Cito not have friends. But Nora come and Cito have friend,” Cito explained to her, the entire thing extremely pitiful and hurting Nora’s heart deeply.
Nora tried to think of some way to explain it to him. She happened to see the gorillas watching them, and it was then that she thought of the perfect way.
“Cito… You have a family,” Nora told him, and he nodded, glancing back at the gorillas briefly as he penetrated her gaze with his own blazingly intense one.
“I have a family, too. Her and the dog are two parts of my family,” Nora emphasized as she pointed at Piper and Dogmeat. He looked at them before looking back at Nora as she took in a careful breath.
“The rest of my family is waiting at home,” Nora tried to explain, endeavoring to keep her words simple. He was still looking at her longingly and dejectedly, but there was an element of understanding that was starting to set in.
“I have to protect my family,” Nora admitted, meeting him on a level that he would doubtlessly understand.
Cito gazed at her silently and sadly, his eyes glowing with emotion. He had such strong, giant feelings and they overwhelmed his eyes, which were two of the most expressive things that Nora had ever seen.
He was quiet for a few moments before finally speaking up.
“Cito… Will miss Nora. Cito… is sad,” he confessed, and Nora nodded, pain gripping her despite not having known him for that long.
He was wild like a hurricane. He loved quickly and she could not help but return some amount of fondness in reply to him.
Nora offered him a brief onceover before extending her hand as he had done earlier, pressing it to his chest as she spread her fingers over it. His stare never left hers, and Nora swallowed.
“I’ll miss you, too, Cito. I’ll come visit soon, okay?” Nora promised, her voice soft as she spoke to him. Cito nodded, brightening just a little as his gaze lit up.
He paused once more, seemingly trying to find words as he extended his hand again to touch her chest as he had done before. She did not even blink as she watched him and waited him out.
He seemed to struggle, and he briefly brought his hand up to touch her face, his knuckles brushing her cheek affectionately. Nora was a little surprised at that development, but she allowed him to do what he felt like he wanted to do as long as it remained in a realm of acceptable.
“Cito… Cito like new friend. Like, like, like new friend,” he tried to express, and Nora nodded to him, not quite having the heart to tell him the word he must have been really looking for. He was trying to express it in terms of like but given how much he was trying to emphasize like, she knew it was stronger than that.
It had only been around two days, but he must have somehow loved her in some strange, unexplainable way.
“We need to go, Blue,” Piper softly told her, interrupting the moment briefly, and Nora nodded sadly but tried to muster some amount of easiness about her as she patted his chest affectionately.
“I’ll see you again soon, Cito,” Nora told him, and he nodded, letting his hand drop away from her hesitantly.
“See Nora soon,” he nodded, smiling, and Nora nodded to him in reply, stepping back as she turned back to join Piper and Dogmeat. She took hold of the door, opening it as she let Dogmeat out and Piper as well.
She paused as she stood near the door, looking back at him. He smiled at her, his eyes warm where he was now crouched with the gorillas.
Piper had stopped in the doorway and she softly touched Nora’s shoulder. Nora met her eyes, and Piper just looked at her somewhat sadly before tilting her head in the direction of outside.
Nora sighed but offered Cito a small wave and a forced smile as she headed out, shutting the door behind her.
They travelled through the park, making their way to the exit in silence with only the nature noises around them, the sound of the old intercom, and the comforting click of Dogmeat’s nails to accompany them.
After glancing over at Nora a couple of times, Piper finally spoke up, her smile somewhat wry as she spoke up.
  “It’s pretty bad…”
“Which part?” Nora tiredly questioned, a definitive heaviness in her heart as she looked over at her companion, Dogmeat trailing along in front of them.
“It’s pretty bad that you told ol’ Tarzan back there your name quicker than you told me when we first met,” Piper dramatically pointed out, grinning a little as she looked at Nora more fully.
Nora sighed deeply but could not help just the smallest bit of a smile in reply to Piper’s goofiness. This argument had been ongoing for a long, long time and it was something that Piper loved to playfully bring up occasionally.
“Look, you didn’t ask and I didn’t think about it when I first met you with everything that was happening around us. And I didn’t get the chance to talk to you until like a day or two later. I was asking around the city and trying to figure out if anyone had seen anything,” Nora tiredly defended herself, playing along despite her sadness.
Piper just huffed, smiling softly as she nudged her with her shoulder gently.
“I’m just messing with you, Blue… I know this was hard for you. I could see that urge to just snag him up like you do every other needy wastelander,” Piper told her with a fond smile and a definitive sympathetic glint in her eye despite her teasing tone. Nora looked over at her somewhat sadly.
“I couldn’t ask him to leave. And I couldn’t stay,” Nora explained, and Piper nodded, extending her arm to wrap it around her best friend’s shoulders.
“I know. You helped him the best that you could. And as far as I’m concerned, you did pretty darn good. I really think they’ll be okay,” Piper expressed, and Nora sighed, leaning her head over to touch Piper’s briefly as they walked along.
“I hope so. I really do.”

You know seeing the reactions to my last ask reminded me of another legendary encounter I had that made me feel like a badass. I had just finished exploring a ruin in the glowing sea and walked outside only to see a legendary matriarch death claw come out of nowhere and slap me hard. Scared the hell out of me and almost killed me but fortunately I had a piece of legendary armor that slowed down time when I took too much damage and the weapon I had equipped at the moment was the knife you get from that mine with the cult vision in it. My reaction was to swing at one arm which ended up breaking it, swing at the other twice and it broke while dodging attacks, swung at one leg broke it, jumped over the tail and ham strung the second leg, which caused it to finally mutate but didn't heal the broken limbs.
As a result by the time the slowdown wore off I had a legendary deathclaw matriarch lying on the ground unable to do anything but growl and snap at me and occasionally whimper which I didn't even know they could do. It was one of my most badass moments in over 400 hours of gameplay. And for some reason my companion (cannot remember which one I had) took almost 2 minutes to come out of the ruin that I had been in before the fight started. No idea why or what took them so long. Still I would love to see how you would write them reacting to coming out of the building and seeing that sight and the explanation for what happened. I'm certain it'll be very entertaining
Dang, you've had some serious encounters on this game 😂 Sounds freaking awesome, though 💙💛 I need to get on the game and fight some more stuff soon 😂
But here's your reaction! Thank you so much for the request! 😊 For the sake of explaining the companions' absence, we're going to say that they got lost down in the ruins.
Cait - Comes out and is honestly quite freaked out despite her attempts to remain composed. However, she's not doing a very good job of looking composed... Once she figures out what happened, that F!Sole is okay, and she more fully soaks in the creature lying there, she is rather impressed but is quickly irritated at her friend for putting herself in harm's way like that instead of getting down into the ruins and waiting for Cait to come and help.
Piper - Is almost rendered speechless. She had heard the thing from inside the ruins and she had been desperately panicking and trying to find her way out because she was terrified Blue was going to be hurt. When she finally escaped to find the Deathclaw completely crippled and nearly dead at her Blue's feet with Blue not too hurt, she could hardly believe her eyes. When Blue shoots it and finishes it off, she finally finds her ability to speak and inquires about the story, asking for every detail she can as she prepares to make a whole article about how the heroic vault-dweller accomplished this incredible feat.
Curie - Somehow had missed the whole thing so when she comes out of the ruins, she is utterly baffled at the creature's presence in the first place. She had somehow not heard it, but she was now utterly shocked at how her protector had taken the creature on. Once she understands that F!Sole is not gravely injured, she then requests that the creature be put down so that it does not have to suffer any longer with its current condition.
MacCready - Comes out of the ruins with his gun at the ready, looking through the scope, scared to death he's going to see an angry Deathclaw coming at him. To his surprise, however, he quickly realizes what happened, and as F!Sole is explaining it to him, blasting a bullet through the creature's head, he honestly has no idea what to think. He's just standing there in utter shock, unable to say anything for a little while.
Deacon - Is standing with his mouth hanging open. Out of all of the things that he has seen in this job, this definitely tops the list for most insane. He almost thinks she is lying for a few minutes as she tells the story, her somehow managing to beat even his own frivolous tales, but the results speak for themselves. He can't believe his eyes, and when she finally puts it down, he has decided that she has to tell Glory this one because she'll never believe it coming from him.
Codsworth - Is shocked, but is more concerned with Mum's safety than anything. He is not overly fazed by things like this when they're not a threat any longer, and he is more worried about whether she is critically injured. When he finds out that she is not and he tells her the story, he compliments her formidability and then asks that they take care of the poor beast so that it can die peacefully and without much more pain.
Hancock - Just lets out a loud curse as soon as he sees it, staring for a few moments as he listens to the story that F!Sole tells him about how she pulled this off. He is shocked at the fact she made it through that, but he honestly admires her even more now. He does urge her to go ahead and kill it off, though, since it is the humane thing to do.
Danse - Is rather panicked, but does a good job of hiding it except for the Surprised Eyebrows™. After getting the story, he commends F!Sole on a job well done but tells her that she should have waited on his backup before taking on something like this. He also tells her to go ahead and finish it off because while it is a monstrosity, it deserves to die quickly. He is mostly just trying to disguise the fact that he almost crapped his power armor.
Preston - Comes out of the ruins yelling for his general, terrified that he had lost yet another one with the sounds of the Deathclaw that he had heard from where he had been lost. As soon as she tells the story and shoots the Deathclaw, finishing it off, he is just reeling but definitely has the biggest heart-eyes ever. That's the best general and the most heroic person he has ever seen.
Valentine - Is rather surprised, but does not handle it with as much shock as the rest. All he's really worried about is F!Sole and as she excitedly tells him her story of how she pulled this off, he realizes she's fine. As soon as he does, he tells her to finish the creature off, and once she does, he takes a little more time to actually respond to the entire thing.
X6-88 - Actually is worried about F!Sole despite his outward appearance. However, as soon as he sees the thing on the ground and hears her story behind how it happened, he offers one of his very few and far-between, almost nonexistent smiles. He expresses that he greatly admires her abilities in combat, the smile still hanging on despite the fact that he ordinarily shows hardly any emotion at all.
Dogmeat - Is extremely concerned about his owner and when he gets out of the ruins, he is happy to see that she is okay. The big, mean lizard is still alive, though, so he growls and snaps at it until she hits it with her fire stick. She offers him an affectionate scratch behind the ears and he feels much better.
Strong - Is actually angry that she did not wait for him to find his way out of the ruins before almost killing the creature. He finishes it off for her and after a few moments of fussing about her being a tiny human and expressing his strange sense of worry in his own manner, he begrudgingly says that tiny human is very strong even if she isn't a Super Mutant.

did you watch the starfield direct?
No, I didn't 😅 I actually didn't even know what it was until just now when I looked it up 😅😅😅 Sorry about that, lol 😬

You know I'm curious how you would write the companions reacting to a glitch that happened to me once in a playthrough. I was fighting a legendary ghoul and using brass knuckles when I ended up punching it in the head so hard that the head came clean off but at the same time it mutated and restored all its health. Which meant i ended up having a headless and armless (I had taken off the arms earlier in the fight) ghoul fighting me. I remember all I could think was "did I just hit this thing so hard that it can't even tell that it is supposed to be dead?"
My gosh, this is insane 😂 The glitches on this game get crazier and crazier. Also, btw, new fear unlocked because ever since you sent this in, I've been watching those legendary ferals with a bombastic side-eye 😅😅😅
Thank you so much for the request!!! 🥰
Cait - Would start frantically blowing holes into it as she blindly shoots. She would not even really worry about accuracy, just hoping that she's stopping it because this thing is seriously freaking her out at this point.
Piper - Would instantly start running as soon as she ensured that her Blue was getting out with her. Ferals and Mirelurks are her two weaknesses and a headless, armless turd in the wind ghoul is not something she's sticking around for.
Curie - Would probably scream. But as soon as it dies, she'd be examining it carefully, trying to decipher how exactly that this happened and devising some sort of scientific explanation.
MacCready - Would screech like a little girl and shoot with you until it was dead. Once it's all over, he would definitely deny it being a screech. More like a manly expression of slight uneasiness.
Deacon - Would be ready to just pop a stealth boy and bug out. He might sit this one out because this is weird even for him, so good luck.
Codsworth - Would be rather shocked, but he would stick with her regardless of the frightening sight, going after it. He is not losing the last remaining bit of his family.
Hancock - Would start laughing like a maniac. For some reason, this is hilarious to him, and while he's not sure if he's hallucinating it or not, it's still hilarious because it is such a bizarre sight.
Danse - Would quickly put on his power armor helmet to shield himself more fully as he does his best to keep from looking as scared as he feels at the sight of it. He would be embarrassed at the fact that he is afraid of a headless, armless ghoul when he has taken on things like Deathclaws before.
Preston - Would do his best to remain calm despite the terrifying sight, and he would try to maintain some distance from it. He would say it was to get better shots on the creature, but the truth is that he just would not want to be close to the thing.
Valentine - Would be surprised but would not react too badly. He would handle it rationally and go on shooting at it like he would normally, just not quite in the same spots as he would try to aim for normally.
X6-88 - Would be thankful for the fact that it could not really attack in its customary manner of bites and angry swings of its arms. He would take advantage of its removed defense system and he would make short work of the entire thing, aiming for the legs.
Dogmeat - Would not be bothered by the lack of a head and arms, and he would attack it just the same, going for the legs since those are definitely still intact.
Strong - Would be confused but would not dwell on it for too long. He would probably just go after its neck stump and smack the feral with his super sledge like it was a piñata.

That sounds like an even better idea 😂
That "just to see what would happen" line utterly infuriated me and I can't stand to see Nora in pain 🥺 So yes, let's give her boi a good whacking 🤣
Doing a replay of Fo4 and I got to the part where you're meeting that creature that calls himself Nora's son, and let me tell you... I knew what was going to happen but I STILL hurt even this long after playing it for the first time 😔
Like this sweet, amazing woman has gone through enough, GIVE HER A FREAKING BREAK 😡

Rules for Platonic Drabble Requests!
1. I will write the adult female sole survivor Nora if the drabble involves the sole survivor. I will also probably inevitably mentally imagine her as my version of Nora.
2. I will write for the following NPC or companion characters:
Piper Wright
Dogmeat
Cait
Curie
Nick Valentine
Codsworth
Glory
Young Synth Shaun
3. I will also write for those combined with other characters from the group.
I will update the list as I become more familiar with the characters in the game (the ones listed are the ones whose personalities I understand and know the best). The list above is also ordered from my most well-known to my least known characters.
So if you have a drabble you’d like me to write, feel free to send a little prompt and let me know!!! 🥰💙💛

All of the companions are in sanctuary when one (or more) of the companions prank Nora. As they try to run away Nora takes off her Sandal and throw both of them with scary good aim hitting them on the head knocking them down. Ya gonna have to set up a scenario or something cause I’m laughing to hard think of one
A/N: Thank you so, so much for this request, friend!!! 🥰🥰🥰 You have the best oneshot ideas and they always are so fun to write 😂💙💛 This one was a little short, but hopefully still good!
Please do feel free to send some more in! 😊 I'm taking requests for oneshots again!
Word Count: 793
Nora was peacefully minding her own business when it happened, her innocently standing on the patio next to the workbenches as she surveyed her home in Sanctuary. She was watching Curie as she had a rather humorous conversation in which she was attempting to persuade Codsworth to become a synth like she had.
Codsworth, however, seemed extremely skeptical and his continued evasions and explanations were more than enough to entertain the vault-dweller as she took a well-deserved break from her usual duties.
But then it happened, and all peace was over.
Suddenly, a ton of goo covered her head and she gasped as her entire body was coated in it. She closed her eyes tightly, her mouth gaping open as she tried to keep her breath as the stuff coated her thoroughly. The shock that came over her rendered her temporarily unable to do anything, and her mind was racing as she tried to figure out what had just happened and what was on her.
She had set up countless defenses and she had a hard time thinking it was some sort of wasteland creature despite the fact that her first thought had been a Mirelurk Queen. But the goo was not burning like the acid from Mirelurk Queens did, so she was once again back at the question of what it was and why it was on her.
“Go, go, go!!!” Deacon’s far-too-gleeful voice suddenly yelled. Nora quickly heard Piper’s laugh somewhere in the midst and judging by the amount of footsteps hurrying away, Nora estimated that there were likely about three or four other people with him.
For a moment, Nora just kept her eyes shut tightly, relief overcoming her that it was no sort of danger but a slight exasperation coming over her at the fact that she had just been pranked by such a disgusting method. She wrinkled her nose, wiping her eyes free of the goop that was currently covering her.
She opened her eyes and to her utter disgust, it looked to be some sort of glue and water combo. Whatever it was, it was super slimy and she honestly had no idea how Deacon and the group had managed to get enough glue to mix with an entire bucket of water.
Nora quickly looked back at them, watching them as they were trying to hurry away.
Just as she had thought, Piper was one of the ones involved. She knew that Piper would never pass up an opportunity to mess with her as long as it was nothing harmful, so it was not a huge shock that she was part of the group. MacCready was in on it, too, and that did not surprise Nora in the least considering the fact that he was a big kid. It also seemed that Shaun was part of the scheme as well if his excited laughter and running was anything to go by, and Nora felt her heart soften just a little at the sight of him.
However, her softening toward him had nothing to do with the revenge that she was going to deal to the other adult people involved.
Nora quickly reached down for the nearest thing to her, and that just happened to be the shoe on her foot. It was fortunately a sandal since she had aimed on taking a break that day and did not need her usual boots. She figured it would be the perfect weapon against them.
Or at least one of them in particular…
Nora narrowed her eyes, closing one eye to assist in her aiming as she drew back the sandal. She then threw it, releasing it with expert aim that had been honed over her time in the wasteland, and she hit Deacon squarely in the back of the head with it.
He fell over, and the rest of the group stopped for a moment, shock written across their faces as they looked at Nora. They were obviously quite surprised that she had managed to throw the thing and hit Deacon from that far of a distance.
Nora reached down for her other sandal as she stood there, idly smacking the thing against her other hand before calling out to them.
   “Who wants to go next?!”
They were instantly spurred into action, and they took off running, Piper still looking behind her as she watched her best friend.
“Wait for me, guys! Man down!” Deacon cried, and they did not bother stopping for him, the group splitting up with MacCready taking one direction with Shaun and Piper heading off together in another.
Nora rolled her eyes, smirking as she wiped another blob of glue from her forehead that was threatening to drip in her eyes.
   It was on now.
