After my early morning ride, I locked up my bike at work and headed for the nearby track. As I started my solo run, the seagulls alway come in at dawn to the infield, looking for worms . I always switch direction at the halfway point. Today, is a Racewalking day. I challenged myself to, focus on maintaining a Zone 2 HR intensity.

A great little pre-work O&B form my workplace. I got to work one hour early so that I could record the 'dawn chorus' of the city waking up.

I'm taking you on a morning run up Mount Doug. I'll be following my usual route, starting with Harrop Glendenning, then onto the South Ridge Trail, and finally descending via Irvine Trail. Along the way, I'll share glimpses of the scenery, including Harvest Lane Park and the forested areas. Safety is a priority, so I've strapped my chest-mounted camera for hands-free recording. You'll see various viewpoints, like the cell tower summit and an observation deck. I plan to promote this run through Relive, trailer videos, and a longer episode. As I head back down the trail, I'll show you some new additions, like stepping logs for muddy spots.
