Heads up fellow white women!

White liberals & white members of the LGBTQ community can be racist. In fact, many of them are! Many can be found on tumblr as well. Lots of white liberals like to pretend that they give a shit about Black women but the second a white woman goes for the same brass ring as a Black woman they drop the Black woman like a hot potato. For example, Katie porter. The woman has done nothing of serious substance. Yet, she gets credited for things that Black women have done or watches while her white followers trash Maxine Waters(a Black woman who has done more in her life than Katie could EVER dream of doing). I’ve noticed a lot of LGBTQ white women fawn over Cate Blanchett. The woman who not only worked with Woody Allen but STILL continues to support & work with Roman Polanski. Known pedo & rapist. But, Will Smith slaps a guy to defend his wife & HE’S the one who needs to be tossed from the academy. If we aren’t confronting this in the community then we are part of the problem.

Fuck John Mulaney

I know everyone wanted to cancel him when he left Anna but I am not in their lives & I don’t know the details. All I knew was that he was with someone who was OF age & consented to being in a sexual relationship with him. That was good enough for me. But this Dave Chappelle thing, is NOT o.k. He basically, without audience permission allowed a transphobic, misogynistic, homophobic asshole to perform & people had to sit through it just to see the person they paid to see! That is NOT o.k. And even if Chapelle didn’t make any trans jokes at that show he is STILL giving him a platform. John had a chance to have any other person open for him(more than once) & he chose Chapelle. This was just a big FU to not only his LGBTQ fans but to any audience member who Chapelle has made fun of. What’s even worse is that this is John Mulaney OFF drugs. There’s no excuse for this shit. Also for anyone who says “oh but they are friends” or “they have been friends for YEARS” that makes it worse! He knew what a trash person Dave was and didn’t have the guts to call him on his shit and end the friendship. At this point even if John came out & apologized I would not only not believe it I wouldn’t listen. Actions speak louder than words.

My dog Jericho (aka, JJ) was attacked on Saturday afternoon protecting her baby sister Olive from other dogs. We had to wait to take her to the vet and by the time we got her there, she was critical and had to be transferred to an emergency animal hospital.

I'll do pretty much anything for her, but as a freelance writer I do not make much money, and her injuries are pretty extensive. If anyone can help, I would be so grateful.

It’s been over a month since the finale and I still can’t believe they did THAT™️. Like it wasn’t queerbait it was real. To have years and years of just scraps and then to have this unapologetically queer show with a ridiculously diverse cast come barrelling through. Not to mention the cast and crew being so outwardly supportive and interacting with fans. I mean it’s just so unbelievably refreshing and fills my heart with so much joy, I’m so excited to see where television is going and I think I speak on behalf of all minorities when I say THANK YOU!!!

So many TV shows/movies depict the Epi Pen as a total solution for anaphylaxis...it's not. The Epi Pen gives you 30 minutes to get to a hospital where they can save your life. TV makes it look like you just have to use the Epi Pen and then the crisis is over. Do people without allergies or a loved one with allergies know that an Epi Pen only buys you time? The more I see this on TV the more I worry...

I really love & appreciate the way they wrote Mary. They didn’t turn her into the stereotypical “my husbands gay! why me?”/ “I must ruin his life” ex wife. They made her supportive, loving & an ally. Like, I love that if we get future episodes we don’t have to worry about her coming after Stede or Ed because she genuinely supports them. We don’t have to worry about her outing Stede just to ruin him. I also appreciate that she didn’t badmouth Stede to the kids or around town. She just moved on & found what she truly wanted. I would like to see her again sometime in the series. I really like her.
