Y'know what, in light of the Tubbo lore we got today (gosh mans POPPED OFF i knew he could act) I'm bringing back this thing I drew back in like January just before Doomsday.

I love Tubbo's character so very much and today just reminded me how GOOD he is.

They didn’t hug much, in their family. When the boys were younger there was a lot more rough and tumble and falling asleep together and Phil holding them tight while he took them for a flight. But as they grew older and more independent the hugs diminished, vanished almost entirely. Techno avoided them as much as possible, and Tommy tried to squirm out of any kind of physical contact as much as possible. 

(Not Wilbur though. Wilbur, who’s first language was music and who’s second was touch. Wilbur, who hugged without thinking, who even Techno couldn’t escape. Wilbur, who had leaned into Phil’s bloody embrace, the light dying from his eyes, the insanity still shining clear.) 

Tommy didn’t even protest as Phil drew him into a tight embrace, feeling his shoulders shake with anger and grief. He was tall and skinny and height he hadn’t fully grown into yet, a painful reminder of just how young he was and of everything he had been through already. 

Phil couldn't do anything except hold his youngest and wish he had been there for all of his boys when they had needed him. Wished that he had been able to stop what had happened, to ease the confusion and grief and anger Tommy had been holding in for so long. Wished that he had done more to hold his family more. 

Wished he had hugged them all more when he had the chance.

this took me way too long and I lowkey hate it but it’s fine I finally finished. (Not a fan of my techno design, will need reworking definitely) 

Anyway, it’s canon that they found Tubbo on the side of the road (in a box, as of Wilbur’s stream today, though that was basically fanon already). I know it’s most likely that Phil or Tommy found Tubbo, but I like to think it was Technoblade, because I have a lot of thoughts about Techno and Tubbo’s semi-adoption. The poetic parallels of Techno finding Tubbo in a box at the side of the road, and Techno executing Tubbo in a box in front of everyone. Techno’s “I’m sorry, Tubbo. I’ll make it as quick as possible” (I think that’s the quote). I just have a lot of thoughts about Technoblade and Tubbo okay?

that relatable feeling when you’re a 16 year old war veteran who just finished a battle against two demon monsters spawned by your older brother trying to spread chaos and see your father who barely half an hour before killed your other older brother in front of you after said older brother exploded your entire country two minutes after you were made president and then handed that presidency to your best friend who is also 16.
