So I spent a whole 2 minutes on this monstrosity (appreciate that even the text isn’t straight it was totally on purpose, I promise, not just something I didn’t bother to fix after I accidentally made it not straight) this is now the official “testosterone made me gay” badge, deal with it, feel free to make it into a pin or something and wear it with pride

It was pride in my city yesterday

I’m part of the group that started and organizes reclaim pride in my city

We organized a potluck for queer people this year (as we didn’t start to plan until very late this year), to socialize and get to know more people, increase the chance to build community

We also walked under the queer anarchist flag in the parade

Was at the pride party last night, someone gave me a glow stick, couldn’t resist

I was so nervous when I was going to the studio but the guys at the studio was so nice and made me feel so comfortable that I actually could relax.

I’m so happy with it. I can almost talk normally again, still can’t eat anything that isn’t liquid but I’m getting there, looking forward to it.

"Destroy gender roles!" I hope you're including trans people in that statement? I hope you're not shaming trans girls who want to be butch or trans guys who want to wear lipstick. I hope you're not accusing feminine trans guys of "not trying hard enough" or being "confused lesbians". I hope you're accepting trans men who wear dresses and lipstick. I hope trans drag kings and trans drag queens are welcome in your spaces. I hope trans women with facial hair and trans men without are being treated well for their choices. Calling someone boring because they only like vanilla sex can be harmful

It’s not that uncommon for some asswipe to use saying someone is boring in an attempt to manipulate them into doing something they don’t want to do

It can be harmful especially to younger people as they can feel pressured into doing things they don’t want to. And it can make it harder for them to say no and set up boundaries, and can increase the risk of them letting people cross the boundaries they have

People like different things and just because someone isn’t into something they aren’t boring, it’s just not their thing and that have to be respected

Telling someone they are boring for not liking something in an attempt to make them do it anyways is not respecting consent, you don’t have consent if you have forced it out of someone by pressure or manipulation
