I will never ever ever ever get over how All Might was immediately on board to follow Izuku to different school, like didn’t say a damn thing either. Even tho like 30 minutes prior
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like I know Dekus his successor and he has a responsibility to stay by him but between
his role as a teacher
condoning restraining Katsuki(a child in crisis!!) by placing that medal on him on the international broadcasting of a spectacle that has replaced the Olympics and is stated to influence these kids while careers
and then thrusting him farther into negative lime light(even though it wasn’t anyone but the villains fault) by losing his powers while rescuing him
You’d think he’d recognize that he has some serious responsibility to Katsuki too, like separate from Deku & OFA All Might has unintentionally caught Katsuki into his orbit & as an adult he should be able to not only recognize that but step up to that
I refuse to believe that All Might actually cares about Katsuki as an individual at all, frankly I think he low key seriously dislikes him and originally had no intention of ever seeing him succeed and would have loved an excuse to separate Izuku from him
Don’t agree?
Let me ask you this, do you honestly believe that if it had been Inko hitting Izuku All Might would have looked the other way?
I don’t, I guarantee that All Might would have called in on every favor he could think of and Inko would have been losing custody before the sunset
I think Deku told All Might one too many of Bakugo’s character flaws during their pre UA training sessions and All Might decided he hated him and would never let it go
Izuku venting should have been fine but All Might struggles with maturity and emotional intelligence, he never unpacked his trauma around losing Nana & put her on a pedestal
It left him with a mindset that let him blindly supporting Izukus reckless tendencies for far too long and it was only corrected by the intervention of others like recovery girl
while also had him under the impression that Izuku would just magically understand OFA because obviously it was his closeness to his mentor that made him such a great hero
He never took into consideration that OFA was much stronger now or that not only is Izuku just of a smaller build to begin with but he had less time to train, like we see All Might was already pretty solidly built and involved with Nana in middle school.
Izuku only had time to build up enough strength and stamina so that OFA didn’t immediately kill him and it’s treated like he’s just not as much of a natural as AM when that’s only such a small part of the problem 😩
After the home visits All Might definitely does try harder for Izuku, to be more available to him and after DvsK2 All Mights consideration of Katsuki is slightly more sensitive and nuanced but tbh it’s all still through a lense of ‘remember he’s important to Izuku, if he improves so does Izuku’
What really confirms that for me is that there was zero reason All Might couldn’t have told the class to make an exception and let Katsuki into Izukus hospital room if he woke up
The class has known since before the training camp that they mean a lot to each other & have know each other for like forever(even if it is messy), but everything during and after camp surely renforced it
They know that Bakugo went off alone with Deku at the beginning of the war and stayed with him throughout it until he got stabbed, it’d make sense that upon waking up not dead he’d wanna see the person he sacrificed himself for
Most importantly absolutely everyone knows what a dramatic hassle Bakugo can be, they could have just written it off as a precaution to keep the hospital quiet 💀
There was zero reason that in however long existed between them waiting for Izuku to wake up and All Might delivering the letters All Might couldn’t have filled Bakugo in or at least offered him some kind of personal communication and comfort
He should have felt some obligation to do so after everything, he should have known better.
Yes it was Izukus decision to leave & knowing Izuku it was a safer bet to go along with that plan so that he didn’t do it 100% alone but All Might should have known that cutting Katsuki out completely wasn’t just a tactically bad idea it was a cold and callous one too
Also All Might just generally enjoyed beating the shit out of Bakugo just a wee bit too much, imo, man looks like it was his birthday and Christmas all in one
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All Might, the number one hero for decades, repeatedly introducing the back of Bakugo’s skull to the pavement was a conscious choice that he made with joy in his heart, Idc how much you don’t like that take, because there were a dozen other choices he could have made
And that’s how you know Deku is bilnded by his admiration of All Might. Otherwise he may have noticed that All Might, for all his support of Bakugo helping Izuku become a stronger hero doesn’t support Bakugo being in his personal life, or Bakugo being alive in general 💀
Honestly I can see why Katsuki procrastinated ever getting All Might to sign his card, between fanboying, personal guilt, pride, and the fact that he probably has a sneaking suspicion that AM doesn’t like him it makes sense that he never once brought it up over the course of an entire year 🥺💔

Febuwhump Day 1 - touch starved
Read on ao3
word count: 1094
TWs in tags
note: AAAAAAH and so it begins. I have days 1-3 written as of now so hopefully I can keep up with posting. I have a busy month so i'm really hoping I can squeeze in enough writing time. That being said I anticipate all of my whump being fairly short this year. Hope you like it regardless ;3
╞╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╡
It was international cat day when Denki killed his mother.
He knows this because when the quirk-suppressing cuff fell off his thin wrist for the fourth time, he looked up and saw a cartoon cat smiling at him from a nearby veterinarian’s billboard, informing him that a group of cats is called a ‘clowder.’
The mental image of a dust cloud full of various cat limbs came to him like in those old, pre-quirk cartoons his mom puts on the TV Monday mornings before daycare.
His mom, who was resting on the floor of the community pool, along with his cousin and uncle. By-products of his quirk manifestation.
His dad always told him after the accident- murder. No, he murdered his mother. His dad always told him that at least he killed his uncle too, since surely if he was still alive, he would’ve slit Denki’s throat for hurting his baby sister.
Denki wasn’t sure what was worse, being told this or not just having it happen. Maybe death would be the best solution, for someone as despicable as him.
After Denki’s Fifth birthday, his first without his mom, his dad stopped holding his hand when they crossed the street. Honestly, Denki still wonders how he managed that long, maybe he couldn’t stand the thought of losing his only child and wife. Maybe it took him too long to realize if Denki wandered off and got run over, he wouldn’t necessarily go to prison for child endangerment. Not if it was Denki’s fault that someone else died, since he seemed to be pretty good at that.
After the hand holding, all other touch began slipping away from him completely. He knew never to touch someone without permission –his mom made it a very clear that he was never to forget– but what is a child supposed to do when his teachers wouldn’t even raise a hand to punish him? They took to verbal abuse, something Denki couldn’t electrocute and sink in a watery grave.
His friends, although innocent in their youth, weren’t permitted to play with Denki by their parents. He’s sure as soon as they all began middle school, they forgot all about him.
Denki never forgot.
The last person who gave him a high-five, the last person to ruffle his hair, the last person to hug him.
His father only touched his hair to cut out the black streak once every few weeks, and even then after several months he just refused to speak to the boy until he did it himself.
The murder was on his file when he applied for UA. His dad had a meeting with the school board after he almost failed the written exam, though whether he was warning them or begging them to take Denki off his hands, he’s not sure.
Getting accustomed to touch again was jarring, even if it was just sparring with his classmates. Once he became friends with Kirishima, Mina, and Sero, everything was different. They didn’t know about his past and they weren’t afraid of him. It was something Denki cursed himself for not having the strength to explain. A danger to others was all he’d ever be.
Sero would rub his back when he would hunch over the toilet after overusing his quirk. Mina would drape herself over him when they would pile on the couch for squad movie night. Kirishima seemed to always be patting him on the back or giving him fist bumps. Hell, even Bakugo would shove him if he said something stupid.
And although Denki was endlessly grateful for his friends, and all of his classmates who never shied away from him, he longed for his mom’s touch.
He remembers how she would run her fingers through his hair before bed and scratch his scalp with her nails. He cries himself to sleep sometimes, trying to mimic that feeling.
-
Class 2-A is celebrating Tsu’s birthday, which naturally means a pool party. Denki has gone as far as sitting on a towel near the hot tub a safe distance away from the festivities.
Mina keeps yelling at him to join them in the pool, splashing water at him when he smiles and declines.
“Boo! Come join the fun, party pooper, I thought you’d love seeing all the girls wet in bikinis!”
Denki laughs half-heartedly, shooting a quick glance to Aizawa who is thankfully still asleep in a lounge chair. Tsu’s little siblings are taking turns adding to the tower of towels on his head. “Nah, Mina. You guys have fun. I’m good here!”
“Don’t invite him, you ever learn what happens when you mix electricity in water? He’d fry our brains out!” Mineta shrieks from the shallow end, quickly dunked by Bakugo.
Denki’s brain must skip his initial reaction, because suddenly he’s crying and there are people talking to him from all angles.
“Kami? You alright, bud?” Sero frowns down at him, swim trunks dripping on Denki’s legs which only freaks him out more.
He scrambles until his back thunks against the side of the hot tub, his legs protesting as they’re dragged over the concrete.
His breathing picks up, shivers rolling over his body as memories of his mother’s wide, lifeless eyes resurface suddenly.
The way his cousin screamed as he fell off of his dad’s shoulders and they both succumbed to the electricity permeating the water.
The smell of burning flesh.
His mother’s burning flesh.
The way the paramedic’s hands shook as she tried to soothe him, practically throwing the shock blanket on his shoulders.
You killed them you fucking monster-
“KAMINARI.”
A low whine tears from his throat, and he begins to rock himself back and fourth.
Distantly he hears a deep voice barking orders, and sees movement in his peripheral, but none of it really registers.
“I’m going to touch you now, Kaminari. If you’re at all uncomfortable just push me away, alright?” The voice returns, closer than before, and he feels large hands wrap around his shoulders.
They’re rough but kind as they pull him in. Years of calluses built up creating a barrier between them.
No, not a barrier.
Denki grabs Aizawa’s hand, clutching it to his chest. It’s the most grounded he’s felt in years.
It’s… nice. Being held by someone so much bigger, much stronger than he is. Someone he trusts his life with, like he did his mother.
The man sighs, patting Denki’s shaking back as he whimpers into his chest.
“You’re okay, Kaminari, it’s okay.” He murmurs into Denki’s hair, “I’ve got you.”
And finally, he’s held.

Arguments - feat Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima and Tamaki Amajiki
author’s note: i’m feeling angsty today. so this is gonna be about arguing with some of the bnha characters. anyone else feel off today? just me?
warnings: swearing, angst, fluff 🥺, and suggestive themes not full on smut. characters aged up! some of these are long.. i was feeling dramatic
headers from @annicon
Bakugo
Tumblr media
as much as i love this man i can admit he would be SOO stubborn
would get frustrated easily
yells 🥺
he knows when to walk away when the conversation isn’t getting anywhere which is good
would NEVER hurt you (i’ve seen ppl write that this mf hits you... girl...domestic violence is not an aesthetic.)
he isn’t the best with words so it’ll take him a little while to admit he’s wrong because he can’t verbalize how sorry he is sometimes
when he does he’ll hug and kiss you and apologize like a million times after he’s done being a stubborn little prick.
gives you the best “i’m sorry “ dick imaginable holy shit
Bakugo done did it. He pissed you off. You were already having a terrible day and then you come home to this motherfucker with a bunch of people over after you told him that you weren’t in the mood for company. So for the rest of the night when everyone left, you gave him the silent treatment knowing that he HATES when you ignore him on purpose.
“Y/N?”
You say nothing, continuing scrolling through your phone to look like you were preoccupied.
“Y/N, what’s your problem? I know you hear me.” Bakugo persists.
You ignore him, turning your back to face him. He grunts and grabs your shoulder, turning you back around to face him.
“Y/N if you’re pissed at me just say that. But ignoring me is fucking immature and it’s pissing me off!” He yells. Translation: “What did I do? 🥺”
“I’M pissing YOU off!? That’s funny. Because it’s not like you didn’t completely ignore my fucking feelings tonight. Why did you invite Kirishima and Denki over after I specifically said I didn’t feel like playing fucking HOSTESS!” You shout back, throwing your phone somewhere.
“Are you serious!? I never told them to come here they just showed up. What was I supposed to do tell them to piss off!?” Katsuki asked.
“YES!” You scream, annoyed that he’s not getting the reason why you’re upset. You never minded having Bakugo’s friends over but you just wanted to have a calm night with just the two of you. You were exhausted and fixing dinner for you and 3 other people and listening to loud chatter about sports and video games was not on your to-do list.
“This is so fucking petty! I don’t get why you’re so mad that they came over.” Katsuki said shrugging his shoulders.
“That’s the problem, idiot! You don’t fucking get it! I worked all day today. I just wanted us to relax but no, you wanted to have a fucking guys night in my living room! It’s the complete disregard for my feelings that’s pissing me off not the fact that they came. I told you I was tired and you having them come over anyways was like a big fuck you to me!” You explain, your face pulled into a face Katsuki knows is your angry face. Bakugo sighs, not ready to admit that he was wrong.
“Tch. Whatever. I’m gonna go sleep on the fucking couch. Let me know when you’re done being fucking frigid.” He shouts, clearly out of anger.
“Fine.”
“Fine!”
Katsuki leaves your shared room and slammed the door, you throwing yourself onto the bed. You feel tears sting your eyes as you sob into your pillow. You hated fighting with Bakugo, and you knew he hated it too. He has a hard time expressing himself without getting defensive sometimes. But you knew he felt bad. You sigh and close your eyes and go to sleep.
The next morning you get up from bed and get ready to start your day. You shower and brush your teeth, you and Bakugo strategically avoiding each other all morning to go and do your daily routines. You didn’t utter a word to each other. Just questions and short answers.
“Got work?”
“Yup.”
“When?”
“7:30.”
The silence killed you both as you sat at the table and ate breakfast, Bakugo’s face pulled into a frown as he ate. You roll your eyes and go to put your dishes in the sink and grab his once he’s done. You can hear him get up from his chair as you wash both your plates and dry them. You had assumed he was leaving so you just wash all the rest of the dishes without turning your back. Suddenly you felt familiar arms wrap around your waist.
“Let me go.” You say, tearing up at the sudden touch. He was trying to make up with you and you were so ready to forgive him. The tension was almost too much to bear. This fight was small and it turned into something way bigger than need be.
“Not until you listen to me. I’m sorry, ok? I should have never yelled at you the way I did. And calling you frigid wasn’t ok either. I shoulda just told everyone to go home. We have those dumbasses over all the time. One night wouldn’t have killed me. I’m sorry. Can we just forget this shit ever happened? I hate it when you’re mad at me.” He pleaded, burrowing his face into the crook of your neck. You smile and turn around to look at his face, cupping his cheeks in both your hands as you stand on you tip toes to kiss him. He kisses you back eagerly, happy that you and him are back on good terms. He pulled away from the heated kiss and looks at the clock on the microwave.
“6:30...we still have an hour to kill. If you’re late I’ll drop you off.” Katsuki says, his eyes turning dark with feral lust.
“Late? What are yo-“ you’re interrupted by Bakugo pulling you into your bedroom with determination to make things right.. his way.
Tamaki (🥺 my new found love)
Tumblr media
Tamaki is NOT a confrontational person so arguing with you is really hard. He hates raising his voice or even getting to a point to where he’s angry because he doesn’t want to think about hurting you in anyway.
He’ll shut down and turn cold or try and act nonchalant.
he might even avoid conflict by changing the subject
if he’s riled up enough though he’ll cuss you out.. to his dismay
doesn’t like being mad at you and vice versa
hates arguments.. like honestly can you just get over it so he can eat you out now?
speaking of eating you out, he gives apology head and he won’t stop until you say you forgive him.
Tamaki didn’t like to admit it but he was really jealous. Like really really jealous like YANDERE type jealous. You and him were out to dinner with Mirio so you were all chatting about mindless nothing, catching up like you always do. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary for you but to Tamaki it appeared that Mirio was a little too playful at dinner with you. He was cracking jokes and poking fun and Tamaki took it as him flirting with you; which Mirio would never disrespect your relationship like that. Rage sat in the pit of Tamaki’s chest as you laugh at all his jokes. He was furious but hid it pretty well for the night.
“And then Tamaki wet himself in front of the whole class when I scared him with my quirk in middle school. Can you believe it?” Mirio laughs, causing you to laugh at the thought.
“Oh leave him alone, Togata.” You giggle, waving your hand in front of your face to stop the tears from laughter. He had been making you laugh all night all to Tamaki’s disliking. He was quiet all dinner, which you noticed immediately after Togata’s last joke.
“Hey Tamaki, is everything ok?” You ask, concerned that he might not want to be out anymore.
“Yeah.” He said coldly. “Actually I’m just gonna go to the car. I feel kinda sick.” He stands from his seat and walks to the exit, absolutely fucking furious that you were “flirting” with his childhood friend right in front of him.
“Awkward. What’s up with him?” Mirio asks, completely dumb founded by Tamaki’s sudden disappearance.
“I dunno. I’m gonna go to the car and see what’s wrong. Do you mind?” You ask, standing from your seat.
“Nah that’s cool. I’m actually gonna head out. You go on ahead, Y/N. I’ll take care of the tab.. this time.” Mirio jokes. You giggle and thank him, walking towards the exit. You walk through the parking lot and find the car, seeing Tamaki sitting in the passenger side with his arms crossed across his chest. What was his deal? You open the car door and sit in the driver’s side to meet a thick tension.
“What’s wrong Tamaki? Do you really feel sick or are you upset with me?” You ask.
“Why don’t you ask Mirio? I’m sure he’ll be able to answer since he’s the only guy you talked to all night. It was like I wasn’t even there.” Tamaki says, calm but obviously pestered.
“Is that was this is about? Tama you know it wasn’t like that. Mirio has always been a jokester what’s the difference now?” You ask, getting a little upset at his accusation.
“The difference is that he was trying to make a pass at you. He was so obviously flirting with you.” He says, his tone becoming stern. You’re shocked at how he was getting, frowning at how unreasonable he was being.
“No he wasn’t, Tamaki.” You say, looking him dead in his eyes.
“Yes he was. I’m not about to fight with you about this he was clearly fucking flirting with you. He joked with you all night and you laughed at every single thing he said. You must want to fuck him, don’t you?” He asked, looking at you with some sort of betrayal in his eyes. This infuriates you.
“What are you talking about!? You know I would never cheat on you Tamaki. Especially not with your best friend. What’s with you!?” You ask sternly, not amused or pleased in the slightest.
“Whatever, Y/N.” Tamaki says, looking out the car window while turning the other way so he’s not facing your side of the car. He knew this was stupid and he knew your loyalty was never to be questioned but he couldn’t shake this feeling of jealousy.
“No. You don’t get to start a fight and then blow me off when you’re through arguing! Talk to me!” You yell, furious at this point. Tamaki shrugs, avoiding the situation entirely now.
“Just drive. I wanna go home.” He says, not taking his eyes off the view from his window. You roll your eyes and start the car, pulling out of the parking lot to start your way home. The drive home was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. You were so angry that you didn’t talk to Tamaki the whole way home, knowing you’d probably cuss him out if he said the wrong thing. Tamaki immediately felt bad after picking that fight. He didn’t know what came over him, he knew he had to make it up to you before you two go to bed angry with each other. You approach your shared apartment and park the car, silence still riddling the car. The tension between you both was intense and it scared you. You’ve never seen Tamaki this upset. Jealousy was always an issue for him but he’s never reacted this strongly.
“Y/N?” Tamaki says breaking the silence. You look at him, a little relieved that he’s talking to you again.
“I-I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that to you. I know you’d never cheat on me, of course. But I was just so jealous. It felt like you and Mirio were on a date and I was just the third wheel. The thought of him taking you from me drove me crazy. I wasn’t thinking. Can you forgive me?” He says, placing his hand on top of yours on the steering wheel. You sniffle, tearing up at his apology.
“Tamaki, I’m sorry I made you feel like that. I love you so much. No one could ever take your place, not even Mirio. I’d never betray you like that, ever.” You sob, tears flowing down your face. Tamaki questioning your loyalty really hurt your feelings and he hated seeing you cry.
“I know that. Please don’t cry. I’m so sorry, Y/N. It was so stupid of me to even assume.” He says, taking his hand and wiping your tears away. He took your hand and gave it a sweet kiss to soothe you, rubbing circles with his thumb on it as he consoled you. You giggle and wipe your tears, happy that you guys made up after that silly fight.
“Let’s go inside.”
Todoroki
Tumblr media
arguments between you two get heated. It gets to a point where sometimes you don’t speak to each other for days. he’ll definitely give small reminders that he still loves you to butter you up to alleviate some of the tension.
raises his voice
just as stubborn as bakugo
to a fault of his upbringing facing his emotions was hard for him sometimes, causing him to be cold when you fight
when it’s time to get over it and make up he’ll make it a huge event; flowers, chocolates and lots of freaky apology sex
cant stand arguing with you just like tamaki but wont back down in the slightest
is sure he doesn’t say anything harsh to make the situation worse.
“Why are you being so stubborn?!” You shout at your bi-colored haired boyfriend. The two of you have been fighting all day to your surprise. Shoto was usually easy going and you two hardly fought. But today, a bug seemed to have crawled up Todoroki’s ass and he’s been picking fights all day. You’ve been arguing about small things like who left the bathroom light on or who ate the last hot pocket. Right now it was an argument about when you’re going to meet his father Endeavor. It’s been almost a year since you two have been together and you don’t even think his father knows you exist.
“For the last time Y/N we’re not going to my dad’s house. That’s final! You can argue with yourself about this. End of discussion.” Shoto says, very annoyed at the thought of being near his father. He still couldn’t stand him, even as an adult. He can’t bring himself to bring you around him because he knows how he can be. If he even says something slightly rude to you he’ll flip the fuck out. You groan in frustration, wishing he’d at least consider.
“He doesn’t know we’re together does he!? What am I to you some secret? Why did you stay with me all this time if your family doesn’t even know I exist !?” You shout, tearing up with seering anger.
“It’s not that. Of course he knows we’re together; my whole family knows! Why do you want to involve him so badly?!” Shoto yells.
“Why wouldn’t I want to meet my fucking boyfriend’s father!? You’re not making any sense.” You say, getting more and more frustrated as Shoto makes excuses.
“You know what? Fine. We’ll go meet him tomorrow. But as soon as he treats you like you’re not good enough for me don’t be surprised when I tell you I fucking told you so. God you can be so stubborn sometimes.” Shoto shouts, rolling his eyes at you.
“Oh I’M stubborn!? That’s rich coming from you. You’re being so unreasonable right now. I know you and your father-“
“YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT MY FATHER. Stop speaking on things you haven’t the first idea about!” Shoto yells, punching a nearby wall. (Oop.) You flinch, shocked at how angry he got so quickly. You tear up and run off to your bedroom, Todoroki immediately regretting getting so upset with you. He scared you and that’s something he never wanted to do to you under any circumstances. You cried yourself to sleep that night, angry that things got so heated. Why did he react like that? And why was he treating you as if you knew nothing about him and his father. He would vent to you about him all the time and you gave him advice when you could. But tonight you felt like you were nothing but an outsider. Shoto didn’t even bother coming into the room. He couldn’t face you after making you cry. Right now, he hated himself for treating you like that. He was just so afraid of his father’s judgement he didn’t want him to hurt your feelings with how crass he was. If Endeavor found the slightest thing wrong with you he’d never let you or him forget it. He could hear him now calling you unworthy of the Todoroki name. The thought alone enraged him. In his own cryptic way, he was trying to protect you from him but this was no way to do it nor did he have the right. Todoroki slept on the couch, missing your warmth against him in your bed.
The next morning the two of you drove to the Todoroki estates in silence. You were still pissed at him and Shoto didn’t want to say anything to further upset you. He was annoyed he was making this trip in the first place but he knew he had to man up for your sake. It was unfair of him to try and keep you away from his family especially since you would one day take on his name and be a part of the family when he married you. He knew he couldn’t keep you away forever, but god couldn’t he have had a little more time? He dreaded this day.
“Ready?” Shoto asks coldly, trying to hide his remorse from his tone. You nod, getting out of the car before he could walk over and open the door for you. Shoto is surprised and gets out with you, guiding you to his old home. He can’t lie, he’s so fucking nervous. What if he hates you? Not that he cares what he thinks, he’ll marry you anyway but still. He at least wants his blessing. You walk with Shoto to the main room of the home and wait for Endeavor to come downstairs. Suddenly you hear footsteps from across the room. It was him. He was tall and his aura was so dark and intimidating.
“You must be Y/N.” Endeavor says, looking down at your small frame. You nod, a wave of nervousness shooting through your body.
“N-Nice to meet you sir.” You bow respectfully.
“No need for that. Please, have a seat.” Endeavor says gesturing to the couch. You and Shoto sit down next to each other, Endeavor following suit by sitting across from you two.
“So.. how long have you two been together?” Endeavor asks, his booming voice almost sending an echo throughout the empty room. You gulp and look towards Shoto.
“10 months.” He answers for you, taking your hand to calm you. You’re still mad at him but god you’re glad he’s doing his best to ease your anxiety.
“And you just now arrange a meeting? Hm.” Endeavor questions, looking at you as if he was scanning you to find something irredeemable about you. You look down at your lap, unable to keep eye contact with the intimidating man.
“I-I wanted to meet with you sooner. Me and Shoto fought about coming here last night but I convinced him.” You say nervously.
“I see. You seem like an ok girl. Shoto has had his fair share of.. inadequate women in his life so, you’re a step up from the rest.” Endeavor says, motioning for a maid to make you all some tea. You laugh nervously, Shoto squeezing your hand in annoyance. Was that a compliment?
“You two seem like you’ve been fighting.” Endeavor says suddenly, observing both your body language. You’re both shocked as you turn to look at each other. How’d he know that?
“What’s it to you?” Shoto asks, glaring at his father.
“Oh nothing. But if you’re planning on marrying this girl it’s probably best to not argue too much with her. Hell, she might up and leave.”
Shoto looks at you, pain in his eyes. The look on his face alone said “I’m sorry.” Shoto hated to admit it but his father was right. Fighting as much as you have been, especially the fight you had last night was toxic and could take a toll on your relationship.
You smile at him and turn to Endeavor
“I’d never leave him.” You say, snuggling closer to Shoto as he blushed. He was embarrassed that he was being so vulnerable around his father but he knew that only you could make this happen.
After a long conversation with Endeavor and Shoto, you leave with a feeling that you might have won him over. You think? He was hard to read, just like Shoto. He was more like his father than he likes to admit. Shoto opens the car door for you to get inside and then walks to the drivers side to come in. You sit in the car for a while, silent until Shoto grabs you and leans over to kiss you. You kiss him back, tearing up into the kiss.
“I’m sorry, snowflake. I can’t believe I raised my voice at you like that. I was just so scared that he was gonna hate you and say something disrespectful. I should have just told you that instead of being defensive. I’m so so sorry I scared you. Please forgive me. ” He pleaded, peppering kissing on your face.
“I know. And I forgive you.” You giggle, pulling Todoroki closer to you to kiss him again.
Kirishima
Tumblr media
Out of all the boys he’s the least stubborn when it comes to fighting. But don’t be fooled, he’ll argue you down. he’s very good at managing his temper when it comes to you.
Regrets starting a fight in the first place
Just wants to cuddle and go back to normal
But when he’s angry hooo boy
doesn’t even yell, he’s like a calm angry which is terrifying
tries talking over you, trying to plead his case
will not rest until the situation is resolved and over with so you guys can move on
like all the others... apology sex
will try not to lose his patience
You and Kirishima had been together for a while now so it was only inevitable that you two have your first fight. You were always a vigilant person and wanted to help others even though you were quirkless like Deku was at one point. Kirishima is protective of you to a fault and the thought of you getting hurt or worse didn’t sit well with him at all. You assured him that you were capable of taking care of yourself and protecting yourself but he wasn’t having any of it. You spent years perfecting your martial arts skills, training your ass off for countless hours everyday and he knew that. But he didn’t want you to one day meet your match without him there to protect you.
“Y/N, drop it. You’re not going on missions with me and that’s final. It’s too dangerous.” Eijiro said, his brows furrowed. He was trying not to lose his patience with you but you kept insisting. He just wished you’d forget about this whole thing; for your safety.
“You don’t have the right to tell me what I can and can’t do! I’m fully capable for taking care of myself and you know that.” You yell, irritated at your boyfriend underestimating your abilities. Eijiro sighs and stands up from the couch to stand in front of you, inching so close you could almost kiss.
“I’ll die before I let you go out there. Do you know what would happen to me; to your friends and family if something happened to you!? We’d be crushed. Please just drop this.” Kirishima says, wanting to avoid this conversation all together. But alas, nothing was changing your mind. You were very head strong and stubborn to no avail so you weren’t going down without a fight.
“You can’t stop me!” You yell
“Oh I can’t?” Eijiro challenged.
“No. You can’t. You can’t treat me like a child, Eijiro.” You say. “How can you say I’m not ready if you don’t give me a chance to prove I am!?”
“Because you just aren’t! Okay!? You say you’re not a child but you’re acting like one and a petulant one at that. Just drop it! God, you can be so stubborn sometimes. Don’t you see I’m just trying to keep you safe!?” Kirishima yells, instantly regretting raising his voice at you and losing his cool. You tear up, furious that he’s treating you like some kid. You grab your stuff and prepare to leave his apartment.
“Where are you going?” Kirishima sighs
“Fuck you, Eijiro.” You say, walking away from him and going outside to cool off. Kirishima tries to grab you before you leave but you snatch your arm away from him and walk outside with a huff and a slam of the door. You wipe your hot tears away and start aimlessly walking down the street to go home. Hell, you don’t even know your way home from Eijiro’s place but you’ll be damned if you go back there. As you walk you see Kirishima’s car pull up to the side of you, driving slowly to keep up with your walking pace.
“Y/N please get in the car.” He says out the car window
“No! I don’t wanna talk to you so just go away!” You yell, continuing to walk as the brisk wind assaults your bare skin. Dammit you forgot your coat.
“Y/N! You’re being ridiculous just please get in the car. You left your jacket; it’s freezing out here!” Eijiro shouts, getting out of the car and grabbing you to pull you inside. You groan, obviously being overpowered by your strong boyfriend. Kirishima slams the door and gets back inside, drives back to his apartment and parks in the driveway. He sighs and leans his head on the steering wheel.
“I’m sorry I got so heated with you. But can you blame me? I’m worried about you. Sure we’ll be on these missions together but what if something happens? What if I’m not there to protect you when something goes wrong? These missions are unpredictable; anything could happen and I’d literally die if even a scratch is put on you.” Eijiro pleads. You start crying, sniffling at his words. He was right to be worried.
“I love you, Eijiro and I appreciate you being so concerned about me. But that doesn’t give you the right to shelter me. You can’t just force me to not follow my dream.” You sob, wiping your tears away. Eijiro grabs your hand and kisses it.
“I know. I just can’t bear the thought of you being hurt. But if this is what you really want, I have no choice but to at least see this through.” Kirishima says, holding your small hand in his two massive ones. You smile, putting your other hand on top of his.
“Thank you. Also, I’m sorry for saying fuck you to you. That was mean.” You say pouting.
“It was. Hurt my feelings.” Eijiro said faking sadness, immediately laughing as he watched your face frown up again at the thought of hurting his feelings.
“Oh shut up.”

Bakugou Katsuki - Rising
So I told someone a while ago I’d be writing an essay on Bakugou’s lines from 284, and I’m keeping true to my word. If you’re wondering which lines, well my friend, these lines;
Tumblr media
So this, to me, is one of the most emotionally packed pages of these recent chapters. For one, it shows us that Bakugou has always been watching Deku, the same as Deku has been watching him. Since they were kids, probably from the age of 4, Bakugou was able to tell Deku never thought of himself first, it was always what he could do to help and protect other people with no regard to his own safety or well-being.
“He’s always been like that.”
How would Bakugou know Deku has always been this way if he wasn’t paying attention to him? It goes beyond his bullying in Middle School, because he’s watched Deku stand up for other’s his entire life. The very first scene of the manga is Deku protecting a child from Bakugou and his group of misfits, despite being quirkless, and essentially helpless.
Tumblr media
Despite being scared, and knowing he didn’t have the strength to take on those boys, he still stood his ground and did what he could to protect the other kid. Bakugou witnessed that first hand, since he was the aggressor. He was the one Deku was protecting someone from.
There was no way Bakugou wouldn’t remember something like that.
We know he remembered how Deku extended his hand to him when he fell in the stream, even though Bakugou was fine and didn’t need any help. Deku still waded through that water and even risked possibly getting himself hurt, to reach out to Bakugou and make sure he was alright.
Tumblr media
Now, I am going to point out that the stream incident definitely happened before the scene of Deku protecting that boy since it’s evident they’re older in that scene, but it was presented first (literally the first panel of the entire manga), so it takes precedent.
Then we have the big one, which is the Sludge Villain incident, and Deku’s biggest show of self-sacrifice probably to date within the manga, since he was quirkless and would have certainly ended up dead if All Might hadn’t managed to power up. Even with the times he’s wrecked his body using OfA, he at least had some kind of fighting chance because of the power, but with the Sludge Villain, he had nothing. He was just throwing himself out there in hopes, by some miracle, he could do something to save his friend, even if it meant losing his life in the process.
Tumblr media
Another instance of Bakugou witnessing firsthand the self sacrificial nature of Deku. Throughout the manga we’re given these instances, and the next big one is Bakugou’s kidnapping. Now, he didn’t see Deku’s fight with Muscular, but he did see the aftermath, he saw that ruined body running at him full force with no care to the damage done to himself, and even before that, he saw Shoji carrying him while Deku continued to plan out their plan of rescue, like his entire body wasn’t a crumpled mess.
Tumblr media
Time and time again, Bakugou has been witness to Deku’s behavior, to this self sacrificial nature. The scene above is the first real time we see Bakugou acknowledge it. He tells Deku to stay back, he knows if he continues trying to fight looking like that, he’s going to die. I’ve seen other translations and I believe in the anime he says something to the context of “Don’t come, Deku.” Which, either way you look at it, it gives the same impression of Bakugou trying to protect Deku in that moment. Because he knew if there was an opportunity for Deku to reach, he would have fought until there was nothing left of him.
“And now that he can do so much more...”
This line is important because it is Bakugou acknowledging Deku’s current strength with OfA, but it is also his confession of worry because he knows who Deku is, and what this means for him. If Deku was reckless and willing to sacrifice himself when he was a 4 year old child with no quirk, well now that he has the strongest power essentially in existence, that means certain death. There is nothing stopping him from completely destroying himself, and we saw a brief example of that when Deku fought Muscular, though not even close to the level he was going at Shigaraki, and what Bakugou was actually getting to witness during this chapter and 285/286.
Tumblr media
I use the above image because it kind of shows how bad off Deku was, which is far worse than when he fought Muscular, let me remind you. That scene is in chapter 285, after he’s essentially destroyed both of his arms hitting Shigaraki probably upwards of 10 times with 100% OfA.
Remember, Bakugou has been watching all of this from the ground.
“Something doesn’t feel right, it makes me wanna keep him at arms length.”
Well ya know, I don’t really blame you for feeling that way, Bakugou, I wouldn’t feel right if the kid I knew my entire life was willing to die at literally every turn without thinking for a split second about himself, either. It’s a little strange, but that’s what makes Deku the unstoppable force that he is, because he has the drive to save people no matter what. Now if he could master his power and depend on other’s, it would be even better, because then maybe he wouldn’t have to kill himself trying to protect people.
But seriously, that line shows Bakugou's uncertainty about getting close to Deku, because that kind of behavior is scary. It's intimidating. To just...throw your life away for the sake of someone else, that's gotta be scary to see someone do, and Bakugou has witnessed it over and over because of his closeness to Deku.
Now for the big one.
"Back then, I ignored my own weakness...so I ended up bullying him."
There's the kicker, folks. The real development we've all been waiting for.
I do want to point out that when Bakugo was 4, he didn't realize he had weaknesses like that. He was honest to God just a bratty kid that probably thought Deku was weird for caring so much about people despite, essentially, being useless to them. Because what could Deku do? Nothing. He couldn't help anyone because he was quirkless, but he still tried, and that's what affected Bakugou so strongly.
So strongly, in fact, that he never forgot it for a single second.
From 4 years old all the way up to 16 years old. 12 years. 12 years Bakugou Katsuki was witnessing Deku's self sacrificial nature. Again and again he watched as this boy who had nothing, continued to fight for something, and then he was granted power, terrifying power, and now Bakugou is left to wonder how the fuck any of this could have happened. Because if Deku had just stayed quirkless and accepted it, maybe, just maybe, he would stop that self sacrifical bullshit. Maybe he would see himself a bit more.
But then he was given OfA, and all of that hope was gone. Now he was given a power meant to take on the greatest evils and every person before Deku had died for the cause, so why would it stop with Deku, who was already ready to get himself killed to protect someone else when he was like 14 years old?
The scenes we have of Bakugou acknowledging Deku's behavior, and acknowledging his own behavior, it's such a raw scene. It takes a lot to acknowledge you've done wrong by someone else. It takes a lot of strength to sit back and recognize those ugly parts of you, and here Bakugou is, doing just that. And he isn't doing it for some self righteous get me off, either. He's doing it because he genuinely cares about Deku's well being, and he always has.
It never came out the right way, and he sees that now, but that doesn't mean the concern wasn't there. He just didn't know the right ways to express it, but as things have gotten more serious and now Deku is truly risking his life for this cause, he's come face to face with it. He can't hide from it anymore. The more OfA develops, the more Deku is going to put himself out there, and Bakugou isn't going to sit around while he kills himself when he could just learn to ask for help.
This stretches all the way into 285 and Bakugou's sacrifice, because he saw Deku about to end up seriously hurt or worse, and he knew he couldn't let that happen. Of all the years spent endlessly tearing himself apart for other people, Bakugou knew he needed to show the other in some way he didn't have to do it like that. He didn't have to fight alone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That, and it was part of his atonement. It was a piece of his apology to Deku, to show him that he valued him, and he was willing to put his life on the line for someone, for him.
Bakugou didn't think when he rushed out to save Deku. It was instinctual, like breathing. He saw someone he cared about in danger, and his body moved on it's own. That, from the angry brat we get in chapter 1, is a beautiful showcase of perfect character development and growth. If you take into account everything I've discussed throughout this, it should be easy to realize or at least see a bit of Bakugou's perspective, and his thought process when dealing with Deku.
It never justifies any of his past behavior, but it gives us clarification, and then allows us to appreciate his thoughts and actions in 284 and 285 even more.

Tumblr media
ashido, trying to paint the boys’ nails

✿ gave him yellow nails with a black middle finger nail and honestly he’s liking it

✿ you were indirectly kissing though, you were sharing a blunt
✿ might as well kiss already anyways >3< pucker up serito
✿ no matter what your tolerance to weed is, you ended up smoking wayyyy too much, but you were having a good time nonetheless.
✿ he took care of you the rest of the night, covering you, bringing you snacks and drinks, etc.
Tumblr media
kaminari, playing cah by himself
✿ no one wanted to play cards against humanity with him so he just played by himself
✿ anyone else watching the scene would say it was sad he was playing by himself but he was honestly having so much fun
✿ when you walked in he was cackling loudly, and when you joined him you asked what he was laughing about.
✿ he showed you a group of three cards that said “the entire internet: hours of fun. easy to use. perfect for a cat video so cute that your eyes roll back and your spine slides out of your anus!”
✿ what the FUCK is goin on man 🧍‍♀️
✿ you bet that you could beat him if you guys played together and so the battle started
✿ “hey baby, come back to my place and i’ll show you a micropenis” was his best one, but you won the game withhhh

✿ it was so gross but fun, and you guys laughed the whole time as you continued, and the game lasted the whole night.
Tumblr media
kirishima, playing minecraft poorly
✿ when you walked in, mans was tryna beat an enderman with his LIL BLOCK FISTS
✿ you laughed and joined him, and once the enderman killed him you reminded him that he has to make a sword
✿ he hadn't even made a little hut at that point, he was just wandering around
✿ and he thought he could beat the frickin ENDERDRAGON LIKE THAT
✿as if,, his irl quirk,, would translate into minecraft,, um,,
✿ you start playing on separate controllers and you two became cute lil adventurers together !!
✿ the amount of villages you guys raided together before finally settling on a flower biome (!!) is too many to count

✿ he did lots of hunting and defending your little base cause he thought it was the manliest
✿ you did lots of farming and building, along with, well, pretty much everything else
✿ you guys would go mining together and he’d always share the ores and such that he got
✿ cute lil domestic minecraft playing. you guys stayed up the whole night playing the game
Tumblr media
bakugo, grumbling to himself in a corner
✿ he did NOT wanna be there bruh
✿ he was just in the mf corner, moaning and groaning about how this wasn't fun at all and he wanted to go to bed
✿ then you came and sat next to him and started talking
✿ as much as he enjoys your company he still felt like he had to do something or he was gonna fall asleep
✿ you two ended up leaving the group anyways, going over to the kitchen as you guys looked for something to cook or eat

Danger First
Chapter 6
@pocketramblr another :)
.
Shouta trudged back to the staff break room. His counseling session with Midoriya had lasted a little over an hour, so while there were still teachers in the building, many of them had left. With the exception of semi-retired heroes like Recovery Girl, everyone working here had two full time jobs. Hizashi, despite his carefree air, had even more than that in the form of his radio show. Hizashi had probably left with the students.
But Hizashi wasn't either of the ones he wanted to talk to. Not today.
He opened the door. Three, no, four teachers were there, but Snipe didn't count, seeing as he was completely passed out on one of the couches with his gas mask half off. He must have had an early shift patrol today, poor sucker.
Nemuri was there, too, with most of her hero outfit on. She was applying her hero-grade makeup (water proof, resistant to three common contact poisons, and guaranteed not to react badly with mace).
More importantly, Kan and Yagi were both there, poring over papers on the same desk, no less. Shouta walked up to the table and looked down at sheets and sheets full of incomprehensible numbers.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"We-"
'Don't tell him!" said Kan, urgently. "This is going to be my class's leg up on Aizawa this time around."
"Haha! Good one!" Yagi slapped Kan's back, and apparently even in his skeletal form he could pack a punch, because Kan had the air knocked out of him. Before he could recover, Yagi continued, "I'm making personalized nutrition plans for his class!"
"What?"
"One of my undergraduate degrees was in nutritional and health sciences, after all!"
Wow, there was a lot to unpack there, but Shouta was more than happy to leave it in its box. He had other fish to fry and topics to interrogate. Small talk requirement fulfilled, he moved on.
"How well do you know Midoriya?"
Yagi blinked and put down his pencil. "Moderately so? We met about this time last year and have been meeting regularly since then."
So, so much to unpack.
"Why?"
"Ah, he... impressed me, I suppose? He was involved in the bodysnatcher incident last year."
That was an understatement.
"He had a lot of heroic spirit!" continued Yagi. "But... not so much in the, ah, body category. I thought it would be a shame, a waste, really, if he wasn't able to pursue his dream, and a hero school prep course wasn't really in the cards for him, considering his quirk status and the timing... And I did have this degree..." He waved his hands vaguely at the table. "I just gave him a little help."
"What brought all this on, anyway?" asked Nemuri. "Midoriya is the little green haired kid, right? One of Chibiida's new friends?"
"If you keep calling him that, I won't be held responsible for when he snaps and attempts murder. But, yes, that's Midoriya."
"So...?"
"He told me I was the best teacher he'd ever had."
Nemuri started laughing.
"Oh," said Yagi. "I'm glad the two of you are getting along so well."
"I think he's pulling your leg, Shouta," said Nemuri, coming over to pat him on his shoulder. "Man, I didn't think a friend of Chibiida's would have it in him. Such youth!"
"I cannot even begin to tell you how much he wasn't."
Nemuri's laughter died off.
"Judging from some comments he made today," said Shouta, "not to mention the discrepancies between his record and his observed behavior in the classroom, I'd say he's been the target of severe quirkism in the past, particularly from his teachers. Did he ever mention anything like that to you?"
Yagi's face darkened and the mood in the room grew much more somber. "Not in so many words, no. However... some of his comments about his teachers disturbed me enough to bring it to the attention of the Musutafu Educational Services District, but as an unrelated stranger without concrete proof..."
("You can use the acronym, you know," muttered Vlad.)
"You're telling me they ignored the number one hero."
Yagi made a face. "I didn't go to them as All Might. Can you imagine the media frenzy if I did that? I didn't want to paint that kind of target on young Midoriya's back."
That was fair, actually. If largely-anonymous Shouta had enemies, All Might had ten times as many. Not to mention supposed fans.
"Other avenues of inquiry were also fruitless," said All Might, countenance darkening. "I asked some of my police colleagues, but they don't have full discretion over the direction of their investigations, and, again, if I were to use my weight to move them... It would get out, and people would wonder why I was so concerned with an apparently normal middle school."
"Did you try talking to Nezu about it?"
"No? Why?"
Shouta reminded himself that although Yagi was an alumnus, he was also very new as a teacher, and was as of yet unfamiliar with Nezu's more interesting traits.
"I'm going to," said Shouta, "and you're going to come with me." He turned to Kan. "Have you heard anything from Bakugo about quirk discrimination?"
"All I've heard from him are explosions, threats, and some kind of complex I don't have nearly enough psychiatric training to- They're from the same school," he realized.
"Yeah."
Kan pinched his brow. "So, the sweet shy kid you keep gushing about-" Both Shouta and Yagi attempted to reassure Kan they weren't gushing, "-and the demon brat are from the same school."
"That is what their records say," agreed Shouta. "Did you know, Yagi?"
"Oh, that they knew each other? Yes. Actually, I was rather under the impression they were childhood friends, as Midoriya ran out to help him during the bodysnatcher incident."
Shouta grunted. It was possible. He hadn't seen the two of them interact, at any rate.
"I'm going to Nezu with you," said Kan, standing up. "No matter what else this hell school did, they deserve to suffer for inflicting Bakugo Katsuki on me with those recommendations full of lies."
"Why don't you just expell him if he's that bad?"
"Because he's talented, hardworking, and hasn't actually broken any rules except for the swearing. He's just a pain I wasn't prepared to deal with and will probably contribute more to my hearing loss than Yamada by the end of the year."
"Wait, wait," said Yagi. "What exactly are you expecting Nezu to do in this situation?"
"Well," said Nemuri, who still hadn't left yet, "let's just say there's a reason hid name is 'god' in the staff group chat."
.
Terrible did not even begin to describe how Izuku felt when he woke up. His skin was static. His mouth was dry in a way that hurt. It felt like a siren was going off in his brain, and also like it was too quiet. He wanted to both run all the way to the school and hide in his closet.
This, of course, left him paralyzed in bed.
He hadn't felt remotely like this since the first time someone had left spider lilies on his desk at school. What was wrong with him?
No, that was the wrong question. All signs pointed to him having Danger Sense. He was in danger. And also immobile in bed.
With a great deal of effort, he turned to his bedside table and grabbed his phone. The clock in the corner read 4:42. Far too early to call anyone. And yet...
With shaky fingers, he navigated to Mr. Yagi's contact information and pressed dial. To Izuku's surprise, it only rang once.
"Young Midoriya? Is something wrong?"
The sound of his voice loosened the terrible knot under Izuku's breastbone. "I- May-maybe? I don't- I don't know, I think so."
There were sounds of movement on the other side of the line. "What happened?"
"I just- just woke up, and I- I think it's Danger Sense. It- Something bad is going to happen."
"I'm on my way. Is your mother with you?"
"N-no. She's at a- at a tech conference in Tokyo. She won't be back until- until tomorrow. Mr. Yagi, I don't- I don't think it's something here. I think it's later... at the school."
There was a pause. "My boy, are you quite sure?"
Izuku's laugh was just a little hysterical. "I mean, I'm- I'm pretty new to this, but..." he'd like to think his flight or fight reflex would have a more constructive response to am immediate threat. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have woken you up, I should have waited-"
"Nonsense! Forewarned is forearmed, and time is one of the most valuable resources a hero can have! I'm still picking you up, I'll just-" Mr. Yagi coughed, "-take the car instead."
"The car? You mean Hercules!?" The excitement was enough to free Izuku from his paralysis and propel him into a sitting position.
"Well, yes, but, my boy, how did you know? I don't think I've ever mentioned the name in my interviews..."
"But you did! In one of your American interviews. It was for a local station and you and Mr. Shield were on together."
"But those were in English."
"I know! When I found out about them, it really motivated me to work on my English! I think I could probably pass the Level Two fluency test..."
"Young Midoriya, have I ever told you how glad I am that you aren't a villain?"
.
"Hikage, did Danger Sense ever make you feel this bad?" asked Nana as Yoichi fussed in the background.
"Super Anxiety made me feel this bad all the time. Sometimes, it made me feel worse. I got used to it."
Nana let out a sigh of relief. It sucked to Ninth right now, but if it was normal for the quirk...
"That's good, then," said En. "Not for Ninth, obviously, but if that's just how the quirk works, he'll be able to figure it out. What did it usually mean, when you felt like this?"
"Generally, that someone was planning on killing me in the next few hours."
Dead(er than usual) silence.
"Ah," said En.
"You know," said Nana, "sometimes the kinds of lives we led slips my mind, but then the universe is always real happy to turn around and slap it back into me."
Yoichi started screeching.
.
"Do you feel any worse now that we're here?" asked Mr. Yagi after shutting Hercules down.
"Not really," said Izuku. He slumped down in his seat and looked away. "I'm sorry, I dragged you out of bed and this is probably just a stupid pointless meaningless panic attack..." He felt tears begin to prick at the edges of his eyes. He was so stupid. And selfish. All Might could be out helping people right now. Or taking care of himself (which, according to Recovery Girl's comments during their training sessions, he didn't do nearly enough of).
"Hey, hey, there's no need to cry, it's alright."
"Because you're here?" asked Izuku with a sniffle.
"Well, yes, but also, even if it was 'just' a panic attack, I'd still want to be here for you." He reached across the central console to pat Izuku on the shoulder. Then his face twisted into something rather sheepish. "But on the subject of panic attacks, something did occur to me on the way here."
Izuku looked back down at his knees. "What is it?"
"This is the anniversary of the day we met."
Izuku... had known that, actually. Waking up as he had had driven it from his mind, but the date was marked on his calendar. He'd even gotten All Might a gift, although he hadn't yet talked himself into being brave enough to give it to him, and with what happened today, it would most likely languish in his desk drawer for an indefinite period of time as the idea of giving it became progressively more awkward.
"My boy? I can't quite make out what you're saying. You're mumbling."
Izuku clapped his hands over his mouth. "Sorry."
"It's quite alright. I'm just an old man with hearing problems."
"You're not old! It's... I just- I just don't see how- how that's connected to this." He gestured at himself in all his vaguely-trembling glory.
"Young Midoriya... you almost died three separate times that day. That's traumatic. And sometimes anniversaries are... reminders."
"I only almost died once?"
"The first time with the sludge villain, grabbing on to my leg- and I don't think I ever apologized for telling you to let go, I was just so surprised- and then the sludge villain again."
"But I only almost died the first time..." He trailed off as Mr. Yagi gave him a look. He'd thought his mother was the only one who could give looks like that... "Do you really think this is connected to that?"
"I don't know," said Mr. Yagi. "Do you feel like it might be?"
"I don't know," said Izuku. He bent over and knotted his fingers in his hair.
"Do you think it might help to stay home today?"
"No!" yelped Izuku. "No," he repeated, trying to calm his racing heart.
"Alright, alright. Never fear, my boy." Mr. Yagi gave him another steadying shoulder pat. "In that case, let's go into this with the assumption that this is danger sense, and it is attempting to warn you of a real threat."
"Okay," said Izuku. He rubbed at his eyes. "What do we do first?"
Mr. Yagi tensed and looked up at the top floors of UA. "Well..."
.
"Hm!" said Nezu. "That is something of a conundrum! The extent of your quirk is unclear, and it is not properly registered, so we cannot go through the official routes we normally would for a warning given through a precognitive or clairvoyant quirk, even given that we are aware of One for All and the probable nature of Danger Sense."
Nezu knowing about One for All had been a bit of a surprise. In retrospect, maybe it shouldn't have been. All Might would have had to tell Nezu something so that Izuku was allowed on campus before he was really a student, and seeing as how All Might was originally teaching here to find a successor... well, it made sense. Izuku just wished he'd been told.
How many other people knew was a question for later, however.
"Your inexperience with the quirk and other circumstances further complicates the matter."
"Sorry," said Izuku.
"Whatever for? It isn't your fault." Nezu did not wait for an answer. "Then there is yesterday's incident to consider... You say you felt something with the reporters?"
"Y-yes, sir."
"Hm. Yes. Toshinori, I so believe you have a contact who could clear this up much more efficiently."
"I know," said Mr. Yagi. "He isn't picking up his phone."
"You don't think-?" started Izuku.
"No, no, he just hasn't been speaking to me lately."
"Oh? I was under the impression you had been communicating with him regularly since returning to Musutafu."
"He thought I would change my mind about something I didn't change my mind about, apparently. It doesn't matter. What else can we do?"
"A good number of things, luckily. Midoriya, I am going to make a series of phone calls. I would like you to tell me if the sensation you are experiencing changes at all while I make them."
"Yes, sir."
Nezu began methodically going through Izuku's list of teachers, warning them that something 'like yesterday' might happened and going over lesson plans and safety procedures. Nothing really changed. Until Nezu called Thirteen.
(Oh, gosh, they were going to go to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint on a field trip today? That was so cool!)
But after Nezu talked to Thirteen about checking safety systems, a little bit of the tension he'd been holding onto leaked away.
"Interesting," said Nezu. "Perhaps we should reschedule rescue training until-"
Izuku dove for Nezu's garbage bin.
"-or perhaps not," mused Nezu as Izuku expelled the meager contents of his stomach.
It was a good thing he hadn't eaten breakfast.
.
"Hikage," said Banjo. "I'm sorry for calling you a dead-eyed emotionally stunted bastard with a warped sense of humor if this is what you had to put up with all the time."
"You called me a dead-eyed emotionally stunted bastard?"
"Not to your face, but yes."
"Well. It isn't as if those things aren't all true..."
.
"I'm okay," said Izuku. "That just... felt bad."
"No cancelations in that case," said Nezu as Mr. Yagi hovered.
"Y-yeah. Oh gosh, now I know how Uraraka feels..."
"Perhaps you should stay home-"
"No! I can't! That would be..."
Nezu held up his hands- paws? "It was merely a suggestion. Can I offer you some tea?"
"Yes, please," said Izuku, voice catching uncomfortably on his raw throat.
"I do have a few more calls to make. Do you feel up to staying, or would you prefer to head down to Recovery Girl? Or perhaps even the cafeteria? I imagine you haven't eaten breakfast."
"I'd like to stay."
"Very well." Nezu picked up his phone again. Izuku could just make out the click on the other end when it was picked up. "Am I a mouse? A dog? A bear? One thing's for sure! I'm the principal!" There was laughter on the other end of the line. "No, not at all! I am in fact calling for you, Tensei. Or should I say, Ingenium? I'm aware this is last minute, and you were planning on taking the day off- How do I know? It was quite simple, really- but between the break-in yesterday and a tip I received this morning regarding a threat to the school, I would like a few more hands on deck than usual. Why, yes, you can stay with your brother's class. Do try not to tease Shouta too much. He has a reputation to maintain." After a few more pleasantries, Nezu hung up. "Midoriya?"
"I... think that's better? I'm sorry, it's hard to tell what could be the quirk and what's just me feeling bad."
Nezu nodded. "In that case, I do recommend that you head to Recovery Girl's office. My other calls will be similar, and the other heroes will not be with your class."
"Why not?" asked Mr. Yagi.
"Because Midoriya's reaction to the field trip being canceled suggests that the danger may not be limited to himself or his class. Oh! And one more thing. Midoriya, I noticed that you put in some costume alteration requests. Naturally, most of them will not be finished until some time next week, however, some of the support items you mentioned are fairly common. If you have time before the field trip, you should pay a visit to Power Loader."
.
Izuku hadn't expected it, but he did feel much better after eating, despite his continuing sense of impending doom. It was also about half an hour from the beginning of homeroom, so he had the time to go to the support department and check if they had anything he could take.
He hoped they had grappling hooks. Izuku had always wanted a grappling hook.
Mr. Yagi took him most of the way there, but students had started to arrive at this point, and Izuku convinced him to go prepare for classes (and hide in the staff area so that no one would wonder why he, a skeleton man not recognizable as a hero, was at the school). Before too long, Izuku stood in front of a rather sturdy-looking metal door. He hoped this was the right one.
He raised his hand to knock just as something crashed into him. Ah. This was it for sure. The way he would die. The danger he had foreseen.
No. Wait. Never mind. He was fine, just on the ground.
"Oh! There was a person there! You okay?"
"U-um," said Izuku, sitting up and rubbing his head. "I'm fine, just a little startled."
"What're you doing here, anyway?"
"I- I'm here for... support... gear?" He sort of trailed off as he looked up.
It was the intense pink haired girl from the other day. As he watched, her expression changed from one of mild concern to calculating interest.
"Support gear, you say?"
.
Shouta answered his phone as he walked down the hall. "Nezu, I've already done every security check I can think of that'll fit-"
"Not quite why I was calling, although I can see why you would think so. One of your students needs to be rescued from the support department."
Shouta changed direction without missing a beat. "It's Midoriya, isn't it?"
"Why, yes."
"Did you send him down there without warning him?"
"Yes, again. You know me so well!"
Shouta hung up.

Anyone want a 600+ word outline of a Joker!Deku AU origins i wrote in my notes? If someone wants to uses this for a fic, PLEASE DO!!! all i ask is you tell me so i can read it too!! Im not a writer but i like making up concepts :)
*CW for bullying, abuse, gore, violence, death, suicide and probably more - it's dark y'all
The "Deku!Joker" AU
- Izuku is bullied more ruthlessly than canon.
- Hisashi, his father, is a cop. When izuku is labeled quirkless, his father becomes extremely abusive to him and inko for years before he decides he's bored and transfers to another city and leaves them when izuku is 12.
- inko tried to be a good mom, told him to keep smiling like all might no matter what.
- but inko took most of the abuse for izuku and starts to become depressed, dissociative and neglectful, leaving izuku to basically raises himself.
- to cope he creates a mask of the cheerful kid that smiles when he is being bullied because All Might smiles no matter what!
- he still loves all might, hero's are the only thing keeping him going.
- Bullying becomes increasingly physical in middle school (middle schoolers are evil) and he gets constant beatings, threats, suicide baiting; teachers letting it happen in front of them, joining in, and blooming him for fights, lower his test grades and "lose" his homework.
- by his last year in middle school, izuku is starting to break, he's extremely depressed, contemplating suicide, and starting to have violent thoughts of revenge (which for now he staunchly suppresses and berates himself for, repeatedly telling himself to keep smiling)
- a week before the sludge incident inko commits suicide, leaving izuku a note that ends with "keep smiling"
- izuku is too scared to go into foster care so he takes her body and buries her and pretends like nothing happened.
- he's strangely empty about his mothers death and goes through the next week in a daze
- his classmates go extra hard on him this week because he's not responding and they try to get a rise out of him, it doesn't work, bakugo says his bit throws the journal
- sludge villain happens, izuku is not really caring weather he lives or dies but hope sparks in his chest when All Might appears.
- all might doesn't end up revealing his secret because he has a bit more time than canon, but he's getting desperate to get away from this kid and ends up being a bit more harsh to him, and says, with a smile (grimace) still on his face "no, a quirkless person could not be a hero in todays age, they're is nothing they could do" (meaning nothing they could do to become a hero, but vague wording makes it sound like he's saying a quirkless person can't do anything) and he leaves before izuku and respond
- when all might leaves, izuku snaps, he starts hurting himself and goes into a mental breakdown crying and screaming on the rooftop
- he makes a makeshift weapon from a piece of metal found on the roof and manically starts carving a smile into his face mumbling "keep smiling, keep smiling, keep smiling" before someone calls the cops on him for the noise.
- seeing the manic state he's in, holding a weapon and covered in blood, they think he is a villain and arrest him.
- by this time izuku has come down from the breakdown and is dissociated in the interrogation room.
- the cops figure out who he is, and try to contact his mother, getting no response they begin to investigate.
- they come to the conclusion that inko is dead and it must have been izuku who killed her
- he's thrown into a max security psych ward and treated like a criminal
- izuku quickly spirals and with his only coping mechanism turned a traitor in his own mind he begins to entertain the violent thoughts he's been having about his classmates, teachers, father, and now hero's
- he gets sicker and sicker in the psych ward until he comes to the conclusion that he wants revenge and breaks himself out.
- he begins by planning revenge on his classmates...

Okay, but imagine this. All class 1A ( except Mineta, fuck that bitch) at vigilantes
React to this, is an order
LET ME PLEASE EXPLAIN YOU HOW MUCH I LIKE A DECADENCE ARC THAT ENDS IN THE MIDDLE.
The story begins with a beautiful world and a weak protagonist that wants to be a hero but he cans, because life is unfair.
Somehow, he happens to be the chosen one instead. That's how he finds himself a mentor and begins to walk the path to his glorious victory.
He meets a bunch of wonderful and interesting people, that are good but he trains and trains until he becomes better.
HOLD ON. ISN'T THIS THAT TYPE OF STORY?
Apparently no.
The story switches the point of view, until you're seeing things happen from everyone's pov EXCEPT the protagonist.
You already knew that life was unfair. We told you that. However, you decided to ignore it because the protagonist got a little lucky.
Izuku drops out the whole UA thing when All Might falls into a coma after using his power in the USJ accident. Izuku runs away because All Might told him to do so. No one can protect him, so he needs to dissappear until he's ready to face AFO.
Oh, but let's have some fun. Let's imagine that something goes wrong with Doc Ujiro and AFO goes into a coma too.
And now let's imagine that Aizawa finds out about the whole Kurogiri-Oboro thing during the USJ attack, because he dlsaw Shirakumo's face when 13th was stopping Kurogiri.
Aizawa and Kurogiri fight one dayin secret, because Kurogiri was looking for his old friend. Turns out finding Aizawa had messed with Kurogiri's memories and he was there when the big accident happen in Doc Ujiro's lab. Now he's finally free of AFO's will and he's asking Aizawa for help, because he needs to save Tomura.
They come up with a plan: Aizawa is gonna help Tomura heal and Kurogiri is going to help hide Izuku. When AFO wakes up, Tomura will trick him into giving him his quirk, and then Izuku will kill AFO. They'll later find a way to destroy AFO's quirk and free Tomura of the burden.
How exactly are they going to convince the kids to do that? Well, Aizawa agrees to help them build a new order in the hero society, but they need to do things protecting the people.
Izuku moves on with Tomura and Kurogiri and the decaying-bunny vigilante duo begins.
Life is ugly, dangerous and full of misery.
Tomura and Izuku try to recruit Stain, but they fail. When Stain attacks Ingenium and Iida goes after him, it's Tomura and Izuku who appear in time to help Iida kill Stain. And so the decadence arc of the class 1a begins.
Ochaco and Shoto go next, after the sport festival. Izuku convinces them after telling them the truth about AFO, and because the UA stopped Ochaco's fight for being a girls and Shoto is done of people idolizing his father. Tsuyu goes with them but only because she's worried and someone needs to keep their feet on the ground.
So the Dekusquad just leaves the UA. Endeavor is angry as fuck but Shoto threats him with making public that his an abusive man and he shuts up. The rest of them explain to their parents that they don't feel safe at that school and create a whole farse of going to study abroad. Liars liars. Kurogiri now has more kids to care about.
Of course Aizawa knows about this and he's worried, but he doesn't want the kids facing the consequences before their plan is done. This is becoming a big mess.
Besides, Doc Ujiro has created his own team and he's planning something shady. Kurogiri and Aizawa doesn't know what it is but they don't like it.
The summer camp happens. When the Vanguard Squad attacks class 1a, Kurogiri also teleports the Dekusquad to them. Apparently Doc Ujiro was after a certain woman with a certain quirk. Tomura can't really do nothing, or Doc is gonna find out about their plan.
The Dekusquad gets to explain the situation to his classmates and they get to talk with some members of Vanguard Squad, convincing them of telling Doc Ujiro to make Tomura their leader.
They do kidnap Bakugo, but only for Izuku to find a way to explain everything to him. They need his friends at UA to help them with information and covering them up. Bakugo agrees but only because if Izuku dies, he would be unable to prove he's better than him.
"The League of Villains" is created by Tomura, who promises his members to change society but explains why they can't follow AFO. Toga stays around because she has a crush on Izuku and Ochaco. Twice and Compress stay because Kurogiri has some interesting plans, Dabi stays because he's curious about Shoto being a vigilante and Spinner and Magne stay because they wanted to be vigilantes anyway, not completely villians.
All Might, who has woken up, tries to go rescuing Bakugo to ask him if he knows where is Deku. AFO appears just in time, too. They only reason the Dekusquad success to hide is because the some members of the class 1a and class 1b were there to rescue them too, so they hides the Dekusquad and helped Bakugo get out of there. All Might saw Deku tho, but he quickly understands what Deku wants to say by shaking his head.
All Might and AFO fight. He does the whole painting out at the camera and everything. The problem is that AFO took Tomura and the League away, including Kurogiri, but at least now AFO is in Tartarus.
Aizawa confesses everything to All Might and they find a way to hide the kids at the dorms, with the rest of class 1-A. Deku faces All Might and tells him he's going down a different road. He can do this legally, unless they want the whole world to know about him. All Might accepts his decision.
Toga stays with them, tho. Using her quirk, she finds a way to prevent the other people at UA to find out about the whole deal. And since class 1-A and class 1-B are both involved, it's a big messes of vigilantes kids taking turns on their duties.
Things get more and more complicated with time.
Tomura has Doc Ujiro breathing down his neck. Mic follows Aizawa one day and find out about him working with the enemy. Kurogiri needs to teleports them somewhere so they can quickly explain everything to Mic before going back. Mic and Aizawa need to capture Kurogiri to protect their secret.
The Overhaul arc happens but it's Deku accidentally running into Eri while he's doing vigilante work. Also when Twice finds out about Overhaul, he takes him to Tomura but Magne doesn't die, because Dabi was there to help. Instead, Tomura asks Toga to send a message to Aizawa, to explain him the situation with the quirk erasing bullets. Deku, Tomura and Aizawa create a three parts plan to take Overhaul down.
Bakugo forces All Might and Deku to accept him as a fake sucessor, just in case. So All Might sends Bakugo to work with Nighteye and Mirio. It works, so it's Bakugo the one who reports about Eri. Kendo and Momo work with Ryukyu instead of Ochaco and Tsuyu. Kirishima stays.
Toga and Twice help the kids when they reach Overhaul's hide out and Aizawa let's Toga stab him to make things more real. Meanwhile, Compress helps the Dekusquad reach the building. They're using new suits to hide their identities, but it's a high risk and they know it.
Nighteye gets hit with an erasing quirk bullet, courtesy of Lady Nagant, who has been working with the League because I say so. Kidding, she was never in Tartarus because she's a vigilante too.
The only pro-heroes to reach Overhaul are Nighteye and Aizawa. When the first one passes out and Mirio gets away with Eri, the Dekusquad, Toga, Twice and Bakugo gets in to fight Overhaul. Aizawa doesn't get slowed down by Chronostasis and no one gets to help Overhaul, because they're all too busy fighting Tsuyu, Iida and Ochaco.
Between Bakugo, Deku and Aizawa, they find a way to capture Overhaul. Lady Nagant hits him with the bullet erasing quirk and she escapes along with the rest. Aizawa and Bakugo are left to explain the mess.
I have a lot more to say but this getting to long and going no where. Only know I realize I should have done tiny headcanons instead of a whole ass story. I apologize for my behavior. But this is exactly how my brain works.
Should I create more headcanons about this specific world or nah? It all depends on you guys. If you want them, I can do it. If not, let's leave it at here.

Unbreakable
Fandom: My Hero Academia
Rating: Teen and Up Audiences
Relationships: Kirishima Eijiro/Midoriya Izuku
Characters: Midoriya Izuku, Kirishima Eijiro, Bakugo Katsuki; MINOR ROLES - 1-A students
Summary: “Get out of the way, Kirishima,” Katsuki warns him. “I won’t hesitate to break your face in fucking pieces!”
“Then DO IT! I DON’T CARE!” Kirishima roars. He’s never sounded this angry. “I won’t let you break Midoriya EVER AGAIN!”
--
In which someone finally stands up for Izuku.
AO3 / Fanfiction
A/N: basically I wrote Kirishima being protective of Izuku, because it’s interesting how he hates bullies but never stands up to Bakugo...
I hope this isn’t too OOC. Enjoy!
TRIGGER WARNINGS - minor violence, bullying/abuse and injury.
*NOT BAKUGO/KIRIBAKU/BAKUDEKU FRIENDLY!
--
Izuku is happy, really.
Sure, it can be exhausting. It can be aggravating to live up to what comes with being the Symbol of Peace. And it’s also terrifying the reminder that Katsuki knows about his secret and has a lot more reason to hate him.
Not that Katsuki would ever quit hating Izuku, but still.
In the very least, the explosive boy doesn’t hit Izuku regularly anymore. People in their school don’t take Katsuki seriously like it happened in Middle School, so it’s a relief.
(They constantly call Katsuki and Izuku childhood friends, though.)
(Or rivals. Are they really rivals?)
Regardless, as long as Izuku stays away from Katsuki, he’ll be fine.
So, he’s happy.
--
When they can, 1-A has fun nights that may include eating cake and candies, playing games and watching movies – sometimes all in the same night. His classmates are very united in that sense.
Tonight, they’re sharing a big cake everyone helped Sato with; the teenagers are all separated in groups that fill the common room with life.
Izuku might subconsciously flinch every time a certain voice raises near him. Thankfully, it’s not directed at him – once he looks, he finds Katsuki and his friends messing with him. The greenette sighs in relief.
The boy spends most of the night alongside Uraraka, Iida, Tsuyu and Todoroki. At one point, though, Izuku rests alone on the green couch, honestly a little drained by all the energy today, given the yelling and cursing that persists in what should’ve been a good time.
As his head is stuck in his thoughts, Izuku jolts when someone reaches him in the almost untouched spot.
“Hey, Midoriya! What’s up, man?”
Kirishima grins at him. His usually spiky hair is down today (a detail Izuku strives not to stare at for too long, because that’s creepy).
“K-Kirishima-kun! Hi!” Izuku stammers.
“You partied a lot?”
Izuku laughs shyly, “Yeah, had plenty of cake.”
“That’s the spirit,” Kirishima smiles. “Mind if I take a break with you?”
“A-Ah, sure. I mean, you can sit! Feel free to!”
His red-haired friend sits close to him, maybe… a little too close, the other notes. Izuku holds his cup of now-warm soda, playing with it nervously. Kirishima’s enthusiasm and passion honestly still catch him off guard. At first, Izuku thought he’d be… different. Spiky hair, red eyes, sharp teeth…
Instead, Kirishima turned out to be one of the sweetest and brightest people Izuku has ever known. He brings a lot of spirit to their class.
(And now that Izuku knows, Kirishima does look a lot more friendly and… cute.)
“… Midoriya, you’re looking kind of red…”
Izuku’s green eyes enlarge comically, cheeks burning.
“GAH! I-It’s nothing, Kirishima-kun! It’s just- h-hot in here, isn’t it?” Izuku ignores the fact they’re all wearing sweaters in this chilly night; but he supposes Kirishima does it as well, since he doesn’t touch on it.
If anything, the redhead smiles at him fondly.
(For the love of All Might, it’s too breathtaking.)
Izuku finds some ease, though, in his friend’s heat next to him. Kirishima’s presence is solid and stable like his quirk, but soft and gentle all at same. It perfectly encapsulates who Kirishima is, as a hero and a person.
Still, the freckled boy can’t help but wonder why Kirishima has decided to join him. Izuku is not doing anything particularly interesting. They’re not talking… but it’s not awkward, either.
Regardless, Izuku’s peace is disturbed yet again by Katsuki’s yelling bursts, his steaming hands felt from far away. As always, it’s just Sero, Kaminari and Ashido having fun with him.
Before Izuku can dive in his terrified relief, he’s reminded of the fact Kirishima is next to him, and maybe watching him as well.
“You okay?”
“Y-Yeah! Yeah… Kacchan’s enthusiasm is…” Izuku gulps, “a little too much sometimes.”
“Oh.” Kirishima sounds a little suspicious, but he quickly resumes his smiley nature. “Man, tell me about it,” he jokes.
Izuku holds his plastic cup tighter, refraining himself from tearing it apart and spilling all the soda on the floor.
“I can tell he’s having fun, at least,” Izuku analyzes. “He really likes you guys.”
“Yeah…” Kirishima pauses, only to laugh nervously, “he doesn’t really know how to show that, though.”
(Izuku recalls all the punches to Kirishima’s stony hair, and the insults Katsuki throws at him on a daily basis.)
“At least he likes you, Kirishima-kun,” Izuku reassures him in a lighthearted tone. “Kacchan was never happy with me.”
Admittedly, he hasn’t quite thought over these words – nor was he expecting Kirishima’s concerned gaze, his fondness of Katsuki gone.
“What do you mean?” The red-haired boy inquires.
“Ah, you know…” Izuku clears his throat, as his other classmates party and pay them no mind. “Kacchan’s called me weak since we were kids. He’s always been competitive, and- since my quirk took a while to show up”— he gulps due to the weight of the lie —“we were never…” he trails off, really not wanting to give more details.
“… you were never friends?” Kirishima completes.
Izuku swallows the bitter taste in his mouth and silently shakes his head.
“B-But it’s okay, though! We’re good now,” he tries to convince his friend (… and himself). “I just have to stay away from him because- you know how he is. But he’s got you guys as friends, so I know he’s happy.”
Kirishima looks away, thoughtful. He doesn’t seem entirely relieved by his words. Izuku suddenly feels the need to escape – what has he done?
“I- I need to go to the restroom!” He jumps from the sofa before Kirishima stops him.
Izuku is in such a rush that he doesn’t realize Katsuki is in his way.
“Oi!” Katsuki snaps. His eyes are immediately spiteful. “Deku…”
“K-KACCHAN! SORRY!!” Izuku runs even faster – how embarrassing.
“Get in my way again and I’ll fucking kill you!”
“Bakugo, chill,” Izuku hears Kaminari say nonchalantly.
This is his reality.
He’s happy with it. He is.
--
Everything was fine. Truly. Izuku has no idea what he did wrong.
(He’s never known, beside having no quirk in the past.)
They were training at the gym, outside of class time. Izuku tends to train on his own, but lately he’s been sparring with Kirishima, whose quirk helps with more physical attacks. It also helps Kirishima’s special technique in return.
Basically, Izuku and some of his classmates were going for a break, to drink water and eat whatever strengthens their quirks (like Sato having to eat more sugar). On his way, Izuku passed by Katsuki, who’s literally never in a good mood.
“Deku.”
“S-Sorry, Kacchan! You can go ahead!”
“As if I’ll fucking do what you say,” Katsuki bumps his arm into Izuku, hard, as he mutters in his breath, “shitty nerd.”
Izuku gulped and said nothing else.
(The freckled teen strived to not let One for All concentrate in his clenched fists.)
So, when everyone is gathered, chatting with one another, Izuku is admittedly distant from them. Katsuki would glare at him every now and then just for existing, no matter how far he was.
That’s the reason Izuku refuses to train with all of them when Kirishima suggests. Izuku tells them he’d be on his own again – his tone maybe too tight and serious. His classmates don’t question it, despite their concerned looks. Izuku tries to avoid Kirishima’s in particular – because he loves spending time with them, with him, he really does but…
“Yeah, leave Deku,” Katsuki voices in opposition, “it’s better than dealing with a dead weight.”
“Yikes, Bakugo! That’s really uncalled for!” Kaminari protests.
“I know you guys are rivals, but that’s too much, don’t you think?” Sero scolds.
Izuku stares at Katsuki, ignoring his classmates’ statements. Izuku stares deep into his red eyes: unlike Kirishima’s, they’re dreadful, have been since they were only five. He has the same superior stance and tone. Katsuki is the exact same person as the senseless bully that told Izuku to kill himself not too long ago.
The green-haired teenager’s look becomes intense. Furious. The kind of fury that doesn’t always show, because everything is bound to fall apart.
Even when his eyes avert from Katsuki, that’s what ultimately happens.
“Oi, fucking look at me!”
Despite Katsuki’s terrifying rage, Izuku defies.
“Why should I?” He mumbles, his voice gradually raising and deepening, “I can’t even exist near you.”
“What did you fucking say?”
Izuku’s hands clench into tight fists, glowing with One for All. His green eyes sparkle with intensity and ferocity.
“You heard me, Katsuki.”
The atmosphere is instantly changed.
“H-Hey guys, come on, don’t fight!...” Sero chuckles nervously, only to be pushed away by powerful hands.
Katsuki rages and advances, raising his arm.
Although he can defend himself, Izuku can only brace for the impact.
(It’s what he can do. The anticipation. The acceptance. He’s always expecting a blast to his face, and the reminder that he’ll never be good enough. No matter how hard he tries, whether or not he has a quirk; nothing matters to Katsuki, as long as Izuku stops existing.)
Izuku waits.
But it never comes.
No. He hears the explosion blocked by something hard – hard like a rock. And once Izuku looks up, he covers his mouth to contain a gasp.
“What the hell is your problem?!” Kirishima screams, arms together like a shield, the sharp skin scratched by the burnings of Katsuki’s hands.
Katsuki himself is also shocked for a moment. For one, nobody else has ever dared to get in the way of his attacks, either because they’re too scared of him… or they don’t fear him enough to stop him. But most importantly, Kirishima has never stood up to Katsuki. Kirishima has endured his insults, sure, but he’s never defied him in an actual fight.
“Get out of the way, Kirishima,” Katsuki warns him. “I won’t hesitate to break your face in fucking pieces!”
“Then DO IT! I DON’T CARE!” Kirishima roars. He’s never sounded this angry. “I won’t let you break Midoriya EVER AGAIN!”
Izuku can’t move. He can’t say a word.
Katsuki is about to hit Kirishima again without any remorse, only for Sero to hold him back with as many tapes as he can make. Sato, Shoji and Koda help, while Kaminari tries to calm Kirishima down, which has zero effect.
“You’re not a man, Bakugo! You’re a goddamn abuser!” Kirishima points at him. “And abusers ARE NOT MY FRIENDS!”
“Dude, stop! You’re going to make it worse!” Kaminari scolds him, whereas Katsuki has already reduced himself to incomprehensible, enraged noises. Jiro might even rush to call Aizawa-sensei to hold both Katsuki and Kirishima back.
In spite of all the rage he must be feeling, Kirishima still stands protectively in front of Izuku, instinctively approaching him every time Katsuki threatens to break free and come after them.
Regardless, Izuku can still do nothing.
Nothing at all.
--
As expected, Katsuki and Kirishima are suspended for days – similar to when Izuku was forced to fight his classmate a few months ago.
Uraraka and Todoroki stay with Izuku as they wait. Only Kirishima returns to the dorms for now. His friends initially don’t understand why he fought Katsuki, assuming he’d lost his calm for nothing.
Yet Kirishima answers to none of these questionings. The moment he finds Izuku, his look softens, and he rushes to check over him.
“Midoriya,” he whispers in concern, “are you okay?”
Izuku dumbly gazes at him in response, swallowing a gasp when he notices the damage that Katsuki’s explosion did to Kirishima’s face; even with Recovery Girl’s help, the painful scratches can still be seen.
“K-Kirishima-kun…” Izuku chokes with tears welling up in his eyes, and the many feelings and words he’s struggling to understand.
The boy isn’t sure how he should feel. He’s guilty for putting Kirishima in danger, and for ruining his friendship with Katsuki. But Izuku is also angry at Katsuki for not hesitating to hurt someone that cares so much for him. Izuku is furious that Katsuki hasn’t changed at all.
Even so, the freckled teen feels relief. That someone was there, that someone actually stepped up and defended him.
(That someone was his hero, differently from when All Might saved him from the slime monster.)
Izuku launches himself towards Kirishima, wrapping his shaking arms around him. He wants to say all of those things so badly, but he fails. Kirishima’s soft arms hold him back and caress him, fingers running through his messy green hair.
“It’s okay,” Kirishima whispers to him, and says those same words countless times. Izuku’s cries are muffled by his shirt.
It’s like everything else disappears, and it’s only Kirishima and Izuku in this world. Kirishima shields him from every insult, every kick, every punch and slap across his face and his ruptured heart. Kirishima embraces his scars and making sure to be there to tend to them.
Izuku can only cry.
--
Later that night, Kirishima stays with Izuku in his dorm. It’s not like he can sleep with Katsuki’s room right next to his.
Izuku has already dried his eyes out of tears, and flooded Kirishima’s shirt as a result. Regardless, the two boys are glued to one another in Izuku’s bed, Kirishima rubbing his shoulders and the back of his neck. Izuku can’t help melting and clinging to him.
Even so, Izuku only has one question in mind.
“… Why did you do it?”
“He hurts you,” Kirishima answers simply.
Izuku gulps. “But he’s your friend…”
“I don’t think he was ever really my friend, Midoriya.”
Izuku pulls away to face him, the scratches in Kirishima’s face clearer than ever.
“I remember our first class with All Might. Bakugo wanted to kill you,” Kirishima harshly reminds, hands tighter on Izuku. “I knew there was something wrong with him, and yet I still went on to hang out with him. I admired his skills, I called him a man, I sacrificed everything to save his goddamn life because I cared about him. I… thought he was my friend.” He pauses. “Even when he called me Shitty Hair or hit me… I thought I could endure him – and maybe I did. But in the end, I ignored who he really was, and I let him hurt someone I care about for way too long.”
“No…” Izuku protests, “please don’t blame yourself! I was the one who—”
“Midoriya, you’re my friend. I knew Bakugo sucked, and even if he was my friend, I never did anything! And I’m really, really sorry.” Kirishima cups Izuku’s cheek with one of his hands. “I’m so sorry I ignored you. I promise you, I’m not enduring any of his shit anymore.”
Izuku gapes at him. “Kirishima-kun…”
“If he ‘cares’ about me, I don’t give a crap,” the red-eyed boy says firmly. “He sure as hell doesn’t respect me, only when I behave the way he wants. I don’t owe him anything, and I’m not standing around and letting him hurt me or my friends ever again.”
Maybe he should insist. Tell Kirishima that, if it weren’t for Izuku’s pathetic existence, his friendship with Katsuki wouldn’t have ended.
But Izuku doesn’t.
Because Kirishima is right.
Izuku’s hand touches his face, internally flinching when he feels the wounds caused by Katsuki.
“I just don’t want you to hurt because of me,” Izuku admits.
“Midoriya… nothing Bakugo does to me could ever hurt more than knowing he’s abused you for your whole life.”
Abuse. The same word he used for Katsuki earlier today.
“I’ll make sure he never hurts you again, okay?” Kirishima squeezes him. “I promise.”
Although he doesn’t literally say it, it’s clear to Izuku the love in his friend’s words.
The love in Kirishima’s smile whenever Izuku stutters and says a jumbled mess. The love in Kirishima’s concerned eyes when Izuku insists he’s okay when he isn’t. The love in his red eyes and words when Katsuki hurt him. The love in his touches, his soft hands protecting Izuku, understanding his scars.
Kirishima loves him. He really does.
Izuku bursts in tears again and Kirishima lets him, soothing him until the end.

Valentine’s Day Head Cannons Class 1A
Pairing: Gender Neutral x Class 1A
Warning: Fluff?? Headcanons
Word Count: 649
Bakugo does not give out Valentine’s Day gift, he never understood the point of it. He also never understood the idea of confessing to a crush on a specific day. Valentine’s Day was just a day more procrastination. If he wanted to tell his crush how he feels he would just tell them upfront before Valentine’s Day.
Todoroki never celebrated Valentine’s Day at all, of course, he didn’t, his father was a prick. When his classmates told him what Valentine’s Day is, Deku specifically talked about heart-shaped treats, he wanted to celebrate. On Valentine’s Day instead of the typical heart-shaped chocolate, he brought an actually shaped heart chocolate. Denki and Sero couldn’t hold in their laughter and, the girls commended him on his hard work.
Uraraka is not broke but, she is more tedious with money so, instead of buying chocolates or candy for her classmates, she makes homemade cards and gives out homemade brownies.
Speaking of cards, Asui would make the best cards, she writes so much sentimental stuff. You know the cards you don’t have the nerve to through away, those are hers.
Izuku would probably confess to his crush and babble about how much he liked them. Izuku was bullied in middle school so, he wouldn’t have gotten Valentine’s Day gifts so, when Class 1A gives him treats, he just cries and expresses his gratefulness by malfunctioning.
Iida thinks the day is a waste because it distracts everyone from schoolwork. However, if you give him something, he uses his quirk to go to the nearest convenience store to get you a present. If you give him a lollipop, he would get you those giant Teddy Bears.
Sero would be the one hanging out ring pops to the class like it’s nothing.
Yaoyrozu would get everyone gifts. You know that weird stereotype when that one person says they go over the budget for Secret Santa and then gives a car, that’s Momo. She gave everyone expensive gifts and, she didn’t make them, she bought them and her excuse was to prompt the economy.
Koda would confess to his crush using animals, like using birds to serenade his crush and, use a dove to bring the love letter.
Based on Haukure’s room, she probably gets everyone pink Valentine’s Day treats. She uses cat cards and makes pink cupcakes.
Kirishima would paint rocks and give them to his classmates. If he gets a gift, even if it’s considered feminine, he would say that’s so manly.
Sato is the king of baking. He makes an entire cafe in the U.A dorms and gives out goody bags filled with homemade chocolate, brownies, cookies, cake pops, and cupcakes.
Tokoyami wouldn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day necessarily but, all the girls in 1A would get him something and get something for Dark Shadow. Dark Shadow would be so touched and Tokoyami would be confused.
Ojiro would be so humble about getting gifts, he would be shocked that anyone thought of him.
Denki nosebleeds when anyone gives him anything and, he accidentally used his quirk on himself when people confess to him.
Mina would be hugging everyone and, have the best Valentine’s Day wardrobe.
Jiro writes a playlist for her classmates, tailored to each individual’s liking.
Mineta dies, the girls kill him for the gifts he gives out (leaves to your imagination)
Shoji is not one to confess out loud, he confesses on paper, he a poet.
Aoyama gets everyone mirrors and, he confesses to himself on his day. Also, he tries to set up people and places bets with the rest of the class on who is getting confessed to and who is doing the confession.
Aizawa gets energy drinks from the class to make him stay up as well as heart-shaped melatonin gummies. Yaoyorozu makes him a new sleeping bag.

BNHA: something sad (Resentment)
Summary: The last time Katsuki sees Izuku alive the other boy is rushing to save him.  A ‘the Sludge Villain incident gone wrong’ aka Izuku dies.
Characters:  Katsuki Bakugo
Fandom: My Hero Academia
WARNINGS! Major Character death, swearing, heavy angst, graphic descriptions of violence
Other parts in this AU: (Something Sad),  (Anger), (Grief)
This is the direct sequel to (Implosion)
......
“Not many people get hit with a concussive blast of this strength and walk away will so few injuries.” Is what the paramedic that looks Katsuki over says, hand glowing a faint blue as he uses some sort of diagnostic quirk.
“It looks like you have a few cuts, bruising, strained muscles and sprained wrist from what I can see. I’d recommend getting a proper examination at the hospital but there’s nothing life-threatening here.” The medic continues.
The emergency doctor at the hospital confirms the diagnosis and shakes his head in disapproval, adding, “…bruising on your ribs and a fractured finger. No concussion, thankfully, but you’ll have a nasty bump on the back of your head. If your quirk didn’t make you naturally resistant to these sorts of shock-based blasts, you would be dead..”
After that, everyone is practically falling over each other to lecture him on how irresponsible and reckless he is.
..
His mum arrives and there is a lot of shouting which just pisses him off.
“HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REACT WHEN I GET WOKEN UP AT ONE IN THE MORNING BY POLICE TELLING ME THAT MY IDIOT SON, WHO SHOULD BE ASLEEP, IS IN HOSPITAL!!”
“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!
Then there is the quiet disappointment he gets from his father when his mum is done yelling which only fuels his resentment.
“I don’t understand why you did it son. Did you want to get into that fight? Or was it a mistake? Please. We can’t help if we don’t know what’s going on.”
Eventually, he finally snaps, “I fucking felt like it! That’s why I did it! And you know what, I’d do it again.”
It wasn’t like he could or even wanted to explain that he’d jumped out his window to wander the streets at midnight because he had had a bad dream and his All Might poster had looked at him funny. That the rage and anger were preferable to that sinking empty feeling that had turned his every waking moment into a pointless repeat of everyday routines and useless interactions.  That every time he let himself pause and reflect, Deku’s stupid smiling face was mocking him from the afterlife.
Next, he spends an hour with Senior Officer Watanabe recounting every possible detail from his stroll through the streets to his climactic fight with Lanky, Tiny and Grease-Hair.
“Well, you definitely don’t do things in half measures kid. So far we have private and public property damage, unlicensed quirk usage, quirk usage with the intent to harm, vigilantly activity, assault...”
“Assault! Why the hell is that on the list. Those bastards started it.”
“You can’t go around beating people up no matter how good your intentions are!”
“So, you wanted me to just watch!”
“Yes!” A long breath, “I know it can be hard but you need to wait for the pros. You got lucky this time but what if things had been different? You had misread the situation. What if you had been badly injured? What if you had accidentally injured the victim or killed someone? There is a reason we make people get a license for Hero work. Seison Masuyama is a B-rank villain.”
“B rank? He wasn’t that strong.”
“His quirk, Kinetic-Force, collects kinetic energy and releases it in one overpowered attack. It’s deadly to most people. You were lucky he had already used it once that day and that you were resilient enough to withstand it."
After multiple repeats of the ‘you’re lucky you’re not dead,’ with a side order of ‘it’s a good thing you’re still a minor because you could go to jail for this,’ he gets to go home.
It is three in the morning by the time he arrives back at the apartment, two exhausted parents in tow, having been issued an ‘official warning,’ an order to complete 100 hours of community service and instructions to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. He has never felt angrier or more resentful.
A days later and he is back at school, wasting his time watching clocks and avoiding classmates.
Nothing had changed.
The car screeches to a stop at the school gates, throwing Katsuki forward in his seat. His mum turns to fix him with a stern glare, eyes narrow.
“If you’re not waiting right here by the gate when I come to pick you up or so help me I’ll be escorting you to and from your classroom from the rest of your school life,” she threatens.
“Lay off you old bat,” Katsuki snaps as was becoming routine since his mum had started driving him the short distance to school, “I got it the first million times.”
“I’ll believe that when I see it.”  A finger is pointed at his nose, waving in an almost menacing fashion. “Remember. Here. School Gates. 4:00pm. Don’t you dare think about ditching again.”
Katsuki sneers and kicks open the car door, turning to slams it shut with as much force as possible in retaliation. He stalks through the gates, shouldering his way through a group of loitering students.  They all scatter when they recognise him. In some ways, he prefers dealing with the anger and yelling of his mum than his father’s quiet disappointment. That doesn’t stop it from being annoying as hell.
A spike of pain runs through his hand from where he must have used a little too much force on the door. Maybe he should take his father up on those kickboxing classes. Sure, he had practised punching after reading a bunch of online guides, but reading and solo practice were completely different when compared with real actual fighting.  That was assuming he was going to be getting into more real fights.  He opens and closes his bandaged fist, feeling a slight sting in his wrist and fingers. He glares. Four days on and he can still feel the echo of adrenalin.  The thrill of righteous anger had been so much more satisfying than the directionless rage he was accustomed to. It had rekindled some of that fire that drove him to be the best, to win, chasing away the sickening emptiness which had been dogging his every waking step.
He wants to feel that again…He wants to do something other than listlessly go through the same daily motions as he drifts towards his now uncertain future.
“Hey Bakugō!”
He keeps walking, ignoring whatever loser classmates wanted to talk to him.
“HEY!”
A hand lands on his shoulder and Katsuki twitches, a hairs breath away from spinning and firing a blast point-blank into the pest’s face. Instead, he stops and deliberately turns to glower at the pathetic piece of trash behind him. Murata Taheiji from his homeroom is standing there, one hand on his hip, flanked by two other boys he doesn’t know the names of. Two more appear to stand in front of him, blocking his way. They are all puffed up like they think they’re hot shit. Katsuki scoffs. Are these failures really trying to bully him? HIM!?
“How about you get the fuck out of my way and go find a first year to pick on. You know, someone more on your level.”
That gets him an irritated scowl that transforms into a patronising grin, “You were always such a stuck up prick Bakago…Acting so high and mighty all the time. Not anymore, I know the truth. You’re just like the rest of us.”
“Huh?” he drawls, dragging out the sound, turning so he is facing the boy, “What the fuck are you on about.”
“My dad works for Musutafu police dispatch and he told me something real interesting yesterday.” A dramatic pause, “He said that you got arrested a few nights ago.” There is a laugh that is echoed by the four surrounding him. By now the confrontation has garnered the attention of several onlookers, who are slowly drifting closer.
“All that shit about being a Hero and you got arrested. What’d you do? Steal some candy from a convenience store? We all know you don’t have money.”
Around them, the growing audience is eyeing him with varying levels of eager anticipation like they think he’ll break down and start crying because of some dumb-ass insults. Damn, if that doesn’t just piss him off. How dare these losers think him that weak.
“Don’t compare me to your loser selves,” he dismisses aggressively, making to turn and forcefully elbow his way past. He is stopped by Murata’s hand which is still on this shoulder.
“You know what I think. I think you’re all talk.”
Katsuki stills, letting the words sink and curdle in his stomach. In one short move, he turns and steps in close to Murata so they are almost nose to nose.
“Don’t fucking touch me,” he warns.  The other boy tenses, looking like he wants to say something else equally stupid. If he remembers correctly Murata has some sort of muscle-enhancer, reflex quirk. One of the only worthwhile quirks in the school.
Katsuki jerks his elbow up and around in a quick jab. It smacks into the loser’s face. Crack. Guess having fast reflexes didn’t make a difference when you never saw the blow coming.
There is a cry of surprised pain and shouts of alarm from the peanut gallery. The other boy falls back, tripping over his own feet. It is ridiculously simple to lift a leg and deliver a kick to the stomach, not even a strong kick, so his failed bully thuds onto the ground, tossing up a small puff of sand. Unlike the fight in the ally, there is no rush of excitement, no spike of anger or adrenaline. No exhilaration. He is just irritated and maybe a bit disappointed. That’s what he gets for expecting anything out of the pathetic losers that went Aldera Middle School. They were more annoying than anything else.
Murata rolls around in the dirt, wheezing, trying to draw breath. He can almost imagine Deku running up to complain about his violent tendencies or sprout some shit about Hero’s needing to protect people like Murata didn’t ask for it when he decided to try his luck bullying someone obviously stronger than him.
The reminder of Deku sours his already shitty mood.
“Ah…you broke my nose. YOU BOKE IT…ah…it hurts. Do something!” The idiot calls to his equally idiotic friends as he tries to stop blood from pouring down his face.
Katsuki gazes coolly at the boy before directing his attention at the four other ‘bullies’ standing frozen around him.
“You extras got something else to add to that?” With Murata out of the game, the rest of the pathetic group shuffles about uncertainly.
“Ah…we’re good,” The tallest one says nervously, “Sorry about that Bakugō. No hard feelings right?”
He scoffs.
One of the boys moves forward to pull Murata upright, kneeling and pulling out a tissue to help stem the flow of blood. “Crap. I…I think Murata needs to go to the nurse. This looks serious.” There are a few more apprehensive glances in his direction like the other boys think he’ll insist on continuing the ‘fight’-ha! like this has been anything near a fight- until they are all bloody messes on the ground. Kaksuki rolls his eyes. As if he has the patience to deal with any more of these losers.
“Cowards,” he mutters, shoving past. The crowd of students who had gathered to watch the failed confrontation, scramble to get out of his way. A strong breeze rushes through the school’s courtyard, drawing attention to how quiet it has suddenly gotten. Barely audible whispers follow in his wake and he can feel many sets of eyes on his back, watching.
“He always did have a bad attitude.” They murmur.
“Guess he’s a real delinquent now.”
“…did you hear what Murata said. Do you think Bakugō actually got arrested?”
“That’s got to be fake right? Murata is full of hot air.”
“No way. I believe it. You don’t have to share a class with him, I’m telling you, Bakugō’s gone nuts.”
“Kind of scary when you think about it. With a quirk like that...”
He doesn’t know why they’re all so shocked. This isn’t the first fight he has gotten into on school grounds. Okay, so maybe he’d held off doing any real harm before now, well aware that U.A. would probably check his school record. It had never mattered to him because there was no point in beating up weaklings when he was obviously superior. Except for Deku…the only person he had ever really hurt, the only person he could get away with hurting without repercussions. And now he feels like extra shit. God, what a huge farce it had all been. Kaksuki clenches his fist and growls, wondering if it isn’t too late to ditch and go find somewhere secluded to blow off steam. Anything to escape this feeling of frustration.
He doesn’t have time to make a proper decision because news of his ‘fight’ had obviously spread to the staffroom. One of the second year homeroom teachers comes barrelling out of the school’s front entrance, eyes immediately landing on him.
“What happened!” Their eyes move past him to the bloody Murata, “Go wait in the principles office. Now.”
Well, he didn’t want to deal with his annoying classmates anyway. He stalks away, the sounds of the teacher fussing over Murata growing fainter behind him. When he arrives, the principal’s office is empty and he flings himself down into one of the comfy couches, irritated. The bell for homeroom goes off and Kaksuki remains sprawled across the couch, arm across his face to block out the light and his view of the clock slowly ticking away.
Just as he begins to contemplate leaving, Principle Fukuhara comes strolling into the room.
“ Bakugō,” the man lets out an exasperated sigh, “Sit up please.”
Katsuki moves his arm to peek out and glare at the man, deliberately ignoring the instruction.
“I just finished talking to Ms Yuki and the school’s nurse.  You broke Murata Taheiji’s nose. I hope you realise how serious this situation is and that there will be major consequences. Aldera Middle School does not tolerate this sort of violence on its grounds.”
Silence. That was a fucking lie. Slowly, Katsuki pulls himself upright, meeting the man’s hard stare with his own.
“Well, do you have anything to say for yourself and your disgraceful behaviour..”
Katsuki narrows his eyes, “The idiot was asking for it.”
Obviously, it's the wrong response going by how the skin tightens around the man’s eyes, “I see...I’m sorry you feel that way. Up until now, our school has been more than lenient. We have overlooked your shameful behaviour these last few weeks because we wanted to give you time to settle after going through such as tragic incident. However, I am afraid that this time you have gone too far. Your parents will be notified. You’ll see the school councillor. You will be staying back for after school detention. Since this is your first major incident we…”
“First?” He cuts the man off. He is sick of hearing the moron’s voice. “Hahaha and people say you don’t have a sense of humour.” He laughs an unpleasant laugh which increases in volume until he is almost shouting.
“What sort of shit hole are you running? Three years I’ve been beating up the dumb idiots that come here and now you decide to care. Why is that huh? Is it because I’m no longer going to put this shitty place on the map and become a famous hero! HA!”
He lets his voice quieten, sneering “I’ll never be a hero so you’re shit out of luck.” Finally saying it out loud is like throwing a bucket of water over the embers of an already struggling fire. It hurts deep in his chest. The expression of shocked disbelief is almost worth it.
“Thanks for proving what a worthless profession it is,” he finishes with another hash laugh, rage simmering under his skin. When he tries to stand and leave a hand lands on his shoulder, pushing him back down.
The principal, who still looks somewhat stunned at his sudden outburst, orders, “Sit back down Bakugō! I am far from finished.”
Why do people always feel the need to grab him. He is so fucking sick of everyone pulling and tugging on him, trying to control him and hold him down. Katsuki turns slowly, that simmering rage pulsing, running down his limbs. Pop pop pop go his hands. He feels as explosive fire gathering in behind his eyes and in his shadowy stare. It is not the dramatic, adrenaline-induced anger he had felt when preparing for the ally fight. No, this is a dark burning rage, fuelled by his growing resentment.
“Touch me again,” he growls, low and intimidating, “and I’ll kill you.”
The principal snatches his hand back like he has just been burnt. A poignant silence follows in the wake of his threat.
“Suspension,” the man says, swallowing,  “You’re suspended. I’m calling your parents right now.” And is it just him or does he look genuinely worried? There is even a hint of fear in his wrinkled face. Katsuki takes vindictive joy in the achievement. Finally…finally the worthless morons are seeing him, truly seeing him and not whatever Bakugō -delusion they’d all cooked up in their heads.

Bakugo With a quirkless Sibling
I accidently deleted this one the other day, and took advantage to edit them some more.
WARNING: Mentions of bullying, swearing attempted suicide, angst with a happy ending
• By the time Bakugo was in his last year of middle school his sister was still a toddler, barely three years old so there was barely any interactions between the two of them.
• Since the day (Y/N) was born he would be on babysitting duty when their parents couldn't find a babysitter, he wasn't a bad brother, he was distant but responsible, always making sure his sister was well-fed, clean and busy, other than that he wouldn't actually pay attention to them, too busy studying and training to be a hero. so their relationship wasn't that close to begin with.
• Their parents would often come home to find little (Y/N) sleeping on the baby seat or busy with some toy, and her brother doing his homework on the coffe table.
• When Bakugo moved into the school dorms (Y/N) was almost five years old, and when her quirk never appeared their parents realized their youngest child was quirkless. They tried to comfort the little girl who was awfully quiet as tears ran down their tiny face.
• The day after the fight with Deku, Bakugo found out (Y/N) was quirkless, he appeared calm on the outside, but when he was alone on his room the guilt he felt on the inside was immense, it was karma wasn't it? all the times he kept bullying Deku came to mind.
• He remembers that time his "friends" came home for a group project, how they had been talking shit about the boy and he didn't realize (Y/N) was listening until one of the guys pointed out the "brat" looking at them from the stairs, he quickly went to take (Y/N) to her room, not before glaring at his classmates, nobody insults his sister and gets away with it.
• He wanted to go home and talk to her, he knew what this meant, children can be cruel, but he couldn't leave school grounds because of the suspension, if he did Aizawa would extend it. he could only hope things would be fine at home.
• Bakugo was wrong.
• (Y/N)'s birthday was coming, she always got excited for her birthday, but this year was different, she barely came out of her room and wouldn't talk to their parents, somehow the other children had found out she was quirkless and wouldn't stop making fun of her, some went as far as to rip their birthday invitation in front of her as they laughed.
• Mitsuki was furious, so was Masaru, they had talked to the principal about the situation and were told the teacher was trying to make the kids stop, but there was little they could do, some of them just wouldn't listen, they had tried talking to the parents or other family members as well to no avail.
• Bakugo was desperate to see his sister, when he got the call from his parents his worry was beginning to grow even bigger. One day things just got worse.
• It was his turn to take out the trash when he ran into someone he never thought he'd see again, one of his ex-clasmates from middle school, one of his so called friends, the smug look on his face made him wary, Bakugo had a bad feeling and he didn't like it one bit. Specially when the bastard mentioned (Y/N).
• "Have they tried jumping out of a roof already?" Smoke was starting to come out of Bakugo's hands "What did you just say?!" the guy just started checking out his nails nonchalantly "Oh nothing really, i'm just saying I would check on them if I were you, I may have had a little talk with them this morning and told them what their dear brother said to one of his quirkless classmates"
• That moment nothing mattered to Bakugo, he was seeing red, this fucking extra was trying to kill a child, HIS little sister to make it worse, he didn't realize he had thrown a punch until he heard the bastard screaming in pain, he was laying on the floor holding his face, Bakugo had definitely broken his nose, that same moment Deku came looking for him, when he saw who was in the floor he was surprised.
• "kacchan, what happened?! what's he doing here?" "This! This bastard went and told (Y/N) to kill herself!" he was furiously holding the guy's shirt in a death-grip. Then he remembered one thing he said.
• I would check on them if i were you
• His cellphone snapped him out of his thought, it was his Father.
• (Y/N) had locked herself in her room and wouldn't stop crying, she wouldn't stop screaming Katsuki would hate them too, just like everyone else in school
• His heart stopped for a second, he felt his soul leaving his body from the panic he was feeling, Bakugo couldn't stay and do nothing anymore, screw the detention! (Y/N) was in danger!
• He shoved the guy towards Deku and told him not to let him get away.
• "W-wait, Kacchan! Where are you going?!" "I have to see (Y/N)'s safe!" he ran off as fast a he could.
• Meanwhile said guy was trying to run away, just for a hand to catch his shoulder and start squeezing so hard he could almost feel his shoulder was about to break, Deku had a murderous aura on him, the last time someone tried to harm a child was when he saved Eri-chan, he wouldn't let that happen again, not on his watch.
• Bakugo ran home as fast as he could, he didn't care if he was suspended or even expelled for punching a civilian, all he cared about what saving his sister, he would make sure she was safe, he promised himself to protect her.
• By the time Bakugo had arrived at his house there was a police car outside, he went pale thinking the worst, what happened?! was (Y/N) ok!? was he too late?!
• he slammed the door open to be met with the sight of two police officers, his father was trying to comfort his crying mother...
• and his little sister was in her arms, eyes and face all red and puffy from crying, but she was safe and sound.
• the weight on his shoulders disappeared, he didn't realized he was holding his breath until he let out a sigh of relief, once the adults noticed the teen's presence his parents were surprised. Mitsuki loosened her hold on (Y/N), who looked a this brother with a fear of rejection.
• "Katsuki? what are you doing here?"
• He didn't pay any attention to his Mother, quickly running up to his parents and taking his sister from his mother's hold and into one of the tightest hugs he's ever given them in all his life as he dropped on his knees. He couldn't stop the tears as he apologized to them over and over again, voice breaking as he cradled them.
• The officers explained the child had been trying to jump out of their window, and while his parents were trying to talk sense into them one of the officers was outside distracting them, the other officer had to break down the door and quickly snatched the kid away from the window and into their parent's arms.
• In a crying fit (Y/N) told the officers how the cousin of one of his classmates told them how Bakugo hated quirkless people, how he would always bully Deku in class, even telling him to jump off a roof. He told them that they should save his brother the trouble of dealing with an useless brat like them and to jump from a roof themselves. It was the guy he had punched, he had been friends with Bakugo and had been clearly jealous he couldn't enter U.A.
• Bakugo told them he had actually run into the guy and what he said to him about his sibling with little to no remorse, he also told them about the punch and that he should be in U.A. where he left him with a classmate. After taking his declaration the officers went to U.A. to take the guy in. He was going to get charges for endangering and verbally harassing a child.
• Once the officers left his parents had a talk with him, he told them the truth about the things he said and how he regreted what he said and did to Deku that day, they were angry, specially his father, and while nothing happened to Deku he would still be grounded. Bakugo couldn't disagree.
• Aizawa was furious when Midoriya came up to him dragging the bloody teen and explained what Bakugo did, the teacher was seriously considering expelling Bakugo when the police arrived and told him about the situation, hearing the circumstances made him change his mind, specially when they told him about the things the guy said to a child, once they took the screaming asshole away the teacher talked to the principal, and after some arrangements they called Bakugo's house.
• The school allowed Bakugo to stay for a few day at home, but he was still suspended, he didn't mind.
• During that time Bakugo became a totally different person towards his sister. he stopped being the distant brother he used to be and became an over-protective brother instead, (Y/N) wanted to go to the park? he would take them to the park, they wanted to play with him?, he would make sure to play with her until she got tired out. Their playtime sessions would vary from roughhousing to tea parties, Mitsuki had plenty of picture of his son sporting a tiara and sitting on the floor playing with (Y/N).
• He made sure (Y/N) was happy during her birthday party, even if most of their classmates didn't show up, he told her not to care about those extras.
• His parents decided to pull (Name) from their old school and enroll them into one where the staff had a strict anti-bullying policy, they wouldn't tolerate their kid going through more bullying.
• have you seen that video where a dad is carrying his daughter as they sing "girls like you" in the bathroom? Masaru has a video where Bakugo's doing the same thing with (Y/N).
• Once Bakugo goes back to class some of his classmates asked him about his sister, he's ready to kill Deku thinking the snitched, turns out the case made it to the news due to the severity of the situation, (Y/N)'s previous school tried to wash their hands and blame the guy, just to have proof of previous stances of bullying shoved down their throats, his sister was just one of many cases.
• He just told them (Y/N) was fine while looking at his phone, this time Mitsuki had caught her husband copying your guy's video and sent it to her son, he was trying to hold back his laughter.
• When the school festival was close his friends told him to bring (Name) so the whole classroom could meet her, he was against the idea, first because the festival was school-only, second he claimed they would be a nothing but bad influences for (Y/N). It took a lot of convincing but he ended up saying yes and got permission to bring his sister to the festival, but the moment she started saying anything remotely close to swear words he would kill them all.
• "Wait, you mean you never swear around her?" "Of course not, what kind of brother do you take me for you shitty hair?!" "who are you and what have you done to Bakugo?!" "Ah?!"
• The day of the festival everyone was waiting for Bakugo to show up with a gremlin, they didn't expect a sweet little girl so adorable that it was like you were looking at another Eri-chan. They didn't expect to see her sitting on Bakugo's shoulders either.
• "Are they adopted?" "no, why?" "cause they're nothing like you at all" "you fu--dgy Pikachu!"
• All of his classmates were clearly dotting on her, Mina and Hagakure wouldn't stop poking her cheeks, Koda was showing her his pet bunny, (Y/N) was having the time of their live hanging from Shoji's arms.
• Bakugo actually laughed when Deku tried to greet her, (Y/N) just gave him a look and ran to hide behind her brother's legs, she was hissing at him like a cat. The poor guy went into a corner.
• His over-protectiveness went off the moment (Y/N) saw Todoroki, a light blush adorning her tiny face, he just picked her pick and walked away muttering "oh no no no no no, don't even think about it"
• During the concert (Y/N) stayed with Mirio and Eri, both girls quickly became friends. They were both sitting on Mirio's shoulders and yelling joyfully during the whole show.
• (Y/N) became an honorary member of the Bakusquad. Bakugo was glad his little sister was having the time of her life and getting along with his classmates.
• Until she gave him her own nickname.
• When (Y/N) heard Deku calling her brother "Kacchan" she looked up at her brother with a confused look. Kirishima mentioned it was a nickname he gave his brother, the little girl was thinking for a moment before shaking her head.
• "I don't like it!" "oh? you don't like your brother's nickname?" (Y/N) shook her head while pouting "Then what would you like to call him?" she was silent or a minute before looking at her brother again.
• "Bakago!"
• There was a minute of silence, Bakugo fell face down on the floor, everyone burst out laughing at his new nickname. "Bakago" became his new nickname from then on.
• The day (Y/N) found out Deku called him "Bakago" once she started calling him "Bakatsuki" instead.
• Bakugo just crouched in front of her to pinch her cheeks "You're lucky you're cute (Y/N)".

Vapors - Bakugo Katsuki
Tumblr media
warnings!: use of drugs (weed), smut, a lil comedy, fluff (cause im a cancer and we love romance in this house.) swearing because bakugo, Bakugo aged up (cause we don’t fuck children ‘round here), and sex under the influence of drugs. i also sprinkled some daddy kink up in here so...
author’s note: THANK YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH FOR 100 NOTES ON MY RECENT POSTS!!! I really appreciate all the love, it makes me so happy to see that you guys like my work. Remember I’m taking requests and asks so please don’t be shy! here’s yet another bakugo smut because.. well, i’m obsessed with this man ok?? AND we need more stoner Bakugo idc idc idc. enjoy!
summary: Bakugo is a stoner and you’ve been kind of a goody two shoes for most of your life until the night you smoked with your boyfriend for the first time.
It was a calm evening at home. You had just finished cleaning the home you shared with Bakugo as he helped by washing the dishes. You sigh, putting away the vacuum as you go and hop in the shower. You loved when he took days off of being a hero to spend some time with you at home. As you take your shower, you hear your boyfriend singing along to his favorite song; you smile as you hear him carelessly belt the notes off key. You loved his stupid ass so much. If you had ever told anyone he was a softie for you he’d probably kill you himself, but you still cherish the moments when he’s at his sweetest. You step out of the shower, drying yourself off as you dress yourself in a t-shirt and fleece pajama pants to keep warm and cozy. You walk out to the living room to a strong stench that completely caught you off guard. Bakugo was sitting on the couch, singing his song in his own little world; rolling a joint for him to smoke.
“Katsuki! I told you no smoking in the house!” You nag, walking over to him. He smirked up at you, continuing to roll. He was in a really good mood today. He spent the day smoking weed and fucking his hot girlfriend. Even if she was a little uptight, she was fucking gorgeous and she had a good heart. Though he really wished you’d loosen your corset a bit.
“Relax, shitty woman. I’m taking this outside. Just rollin’ up as all.” He said, concentrating on sealing his joint. He licked the seams of the paper, looking you in the eyes as he did so. He chuckled as he watched your face turn red.
“You’ve never smoked before, huh?” Kastuki asked you, raising a brow at you as you watched him carefully roll his joint. You sat next to him, folding your arms as you shake your head no. Katsuki smoked, not a lot but whenever he had time to himself and you knew that. You never had a problem with it, you just never smoked yourself.
“I’d never. I used to think weed was so bad for you. But you smoke it and you seem fine.” You admit, watching him hold a lighter over his joint to seal the edges.
“Did you wanna try it with me? If not that’s fine, I’m not pressuring you to do anything you don’t want to, princess.” He said, cupping your chin in his hand as he gave you a small peck on your nose. You smile and think briefly. Katsuki knows that you’ve always been a goody two shoes. Ever since you two were kids, you were always so afraid to get into trouble for anything. He remembers when you cried all the way through detention for bickering with him in middle school. It was your first and only detention. You were so hysterical, it was as if someone died. You were just always so sweet and innocent. You never cussed or got too angry and that’s what Katsuki loved about you. You were such a calming spirit. Even though he was the complete opposite, it worked as you balanced each other out.
“Okay. But just this one night.” You giggle, hopping up out of your seat. He stands up and walks to the balcony of your apartment, smacking your ass as you walk through the sliding door. You two were sat next to each other, watching the sun set over the clouds as he lights up the joint for you both to share.
“Now I just wanna warn you, please don’t feel like you gotta keep up with me. You can stop when you feel like you’ve had enough. Okay?” He said, taking a drag. You nod, watching him closely to see how to properly smoke a joint. It had to be a science right? He takes another slow drag and blew out the smoke, passing it to you so you can have a hit. You take it and hold it like a cigarette, making Katsuki laugh as he watched his goody goody smoke weed for the first time. You take a puff, one that was a little too big for you to start off and immediately you cough up the smoke. Katsuki pats your back as he handed you some water to help your throat.
“Idiot.” He shakes his head, laughing slightly. You lightly hit his chest, trying to take another drag.
“Just inhale. You’re overthinking it.” He said watching you slowly take a drag. Sure enough after following Bakugo’s instruction, you blow out the smoke. You felt your body instantly relax, your eyes hazy and low as you watch Katsuki smoke some more. God, he was so attractive. You’ve never sat and watched him smoke before, he’d always leave the room out of respect for you not liking the smoke in the house. But with the way your body feels right now, you think you’d been missing out for sure. You take in his form, he was slouched in his chair with his legs spread out as he smoked. You felt yourself blush as you watched him, in awe of his stature. He passed you the joint once more and you happily took another drag. You loved the high you were feeling, the stars in the sky twinkling much more pristine as then usual. You become a little giggly, your first time being high just seemed so hilarious.
“What’re you laughin’ at?” Bakugo says looking at you with hazy eyes, your laughter roaring through his ears.
“I-I’m sorry I just- AHAHAHAHA!” You burst, hunching over laughing at practically nothing. Being high was kinda fun. Bakugo laughs with you, putting out the joint when he was done.
“That’s enough for you, shitty woman.” He said standing up from his chair. You slowly stand up from your seat as you wobble a little, feeling your balance being thrown off by the influence of weed. He helps you inside, opening the door for you letting you walk in first. As a tradition, he smacks you ass as you walk through the door. You looked especially delicious when he was high, his pants feeling a little tight just looking at you. He plops down on the couch and turned on the T.V, flipping through Netflix as you walked into the kitchen.
“I’m fucking HUNGRY.” You blurt out, looking through the cabinets for something to snack on. Katsuki froze, unsure that he heard what he just heard.
“D-Did you just fucking cuss?” He asked, completely shocked. Never in his years of knowing you has he ever heard you utter a swear word. He tried to get you to at least say “Damn.” and that never worked.
“Oh shit... I did just cuss. Oh shit I just cussed again! FUCK!” You laugh, not being able to contain your foul language. It felt as if a huge burden had been lifted off your shoulders, finally loosening your metaphorical corset. Katsuki laughed.
“What’s gotten into you, huh?” He asked sarcastically, standing up from his seat on the couch. He walked towards you to see you stuffing you face with every snack from your pantry. You had a seriously bad case of the munchies, crunching away at some potato chips.
“We gotta go food shopping tomorrow. Ain’t shit in here to eat. UGH why does food taste so fucking good right now!?” You said, cussing with ease at this point. Bakugo inched closer to you shaking his head, snatching the bag of chips away from you as he started to eat them. You frown, grabbing some cookies instead.
“Gimme one.” Bakugo said, grabbing the cookie out of your mouth with his, taking a bite from it. You blush as you chew your own cookie, watching him look down at you. You never really realized how much taller Bakugo was compared to you. You took your hand and wiped some crumbs from the corner of his mouth, kissing him deeply as you pulled him closer to you. Katsuki kissed you back, picking you up and sitting you on the kitchen counter. The kiss under the influence felt amazing. It was like time froze while you kissed, your lips combined feeling like electricity as you melt into him. You feel yourself getting wetter by the second, immensely turned on by this man. You tug at the hem of his shirt for him to take it off, earning a chuckle from Katsuki.
“You’re horny as fuck right now, aren’t you?” He asked, leaning in to kiss your neck. “I can tell you’re probably soaked right now.” You moan as he left open mouth kisses down your neck, reaching under your shirt to grab and squeeze at your bare breasts. You feel absolutely blissful, your panties soaking at this point. Why did everything feel so fucking good right now?
“Kachan~” You whine, trying to grind against him as he licked and sucked on your neck, pinching your nipples lightly. You feel as if you’re about to cum just from him playing with your boobs and kissing your neck, your pussy pulsating as you grab onto him for dear life. All the pleasure was becoming so blinding you never wanted this feeling to go away. Katsuki lifts you up again to walk back into the living room with you in his arms, sitting on the couch with you on his lap.
“Tell me what you want, baby.” He said, nibbling on your ear. You moan, grinding against his growing bulge, taking off your shirt to reveal your nude breasts to him.
“You, daddy.” You purr. Katsuki freezes a little, shocked by what you just called him. You were pretty vanilla so hearing you call him daddy turned him feral.
“Say it again.” He demanded, taking a nipple into his mouth. You moan, still grinding your pussy against the tent he was pitching in his pants, running your hands through his hair.
“I want you, daddyy. Please fuck me.” You whine, getting off his lap as he stood. Your obedience was turning him on so much he just had to have you, not caring where in the house he took you at this point. He slid off your pants and panties in one go, kneeling down to get a closer looks at your wetness.
“Fuck, you don’t know what you do to me, baby.” he hissed, kissing your inner thighs. “I would eat you out for being such a good girl but I need to be inside you. Now.” He said, standing up to take off his pants and his boxers, his thick length springing out as he pulled them down. You almost drool at the sight, spreading your legs and rubbing your pussy as you imagined his length stretching you out. You were never this sultry in the bedroom, always having Katsuki initiate. But tonight, you had a hunger you needed to be fulfilled.
“You’re so fucking sexy..” Katsuki moaned, pumping his dick a few times before grabbing your face to kiss you with tongue. He pulled away to grab you by your neck, the dominating look in his eyes making your pussy gush.
“Bend your sexy ass over.” He growled, letting you go as you obliged. He crouched behind you and gave your pussy a few taps with his dick before sliding inside your slick folds. You have never felt this good. Sex with Katsuki had always been amazing but tonight this was different. You moan sinfully as you felt him stretch you out, his thrusts progressing as he fucked you good.
“D-Daddyy.” You moan, gripping the arm of the couch for dear life. He smacks your ass a few times, quickening his pace as he grabbed you hair to pull it. You lean into the couch, one leg on the seat and one planted onto the floor, hardly being able to keep you stable as your legs shake. You feel your release come quicker than expected, you reaching back to rub your clit in harsh circles.
“You make me feel so good daddy. Fuck, I love you!” You scream, pushing your face into your hands as Katsuki continued the assault on your g-spot. You start clenching around him, the sound of your moans and skin slapping together filled the living room as Katsuki starts to sweat, a caramel scent filling your nose.
“So fucking sexy, baby. You gonna cum for me?” He asked, his hard thrusts causing you to see stars. Your moans are the only thing Katsuki can hear, unsatified as he pulled you up to him by your hair.
“I can’t hear you, baby.” He said, fucking you even harder,  you not knowing that was even possible. You can hardly form a sentence, you responding with frantic yeses and moans and I love yous. He smirked, throwing you back onto the couch as he feels you clench around him once more. If he knew you were gonna be this frisky he would have gotten you high a long time ago.
“I’m gonna cum, daddy! I- oh!” You shriek, cumming around his dick to Katsuki’s delight. He smacks you ass hard as he helps you ride out your orgasm only to quicken his pace again, chasing his own release.
“Yeah.. ‘M gonna cum, baby. You ready?” He asked sweetly, kissing your back as he pounds you. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, gasping for air to try and answer him.
“C-Cum inside me, daddy. Oh god yes!” You moan, biting your lip. He did just that, a strong grunt leaving his mouth as he slowed down his movements, his cum painting your womb white. You sigh, almost missing his dick inside you as he pulled out of you. He picked you up and carried you to your shared room.
“Can we smoke again later?” You ask innocently. He laughed and walked into the bathroom to start you both a bath.
“Sure baby.” He said, giving you a sweet kiss. He pulled out the joint you both hadn’t finished as he led you into the bath. He goes to light it before looking to you to see if it was okay to smoke in the bathroom.
“Fuck it.” You say, laughing as he lights up the joint for you to relax in your bath.

Okay lemme try and redo my post:
I'm really worried about Katsuki for the foreseeable future and I really hope Hori doesn't gloss over it..
We all know how much of Katsuki's life revolves around Deku, even when he refused to admit it and hated it. They were together as kids, through middle school, when their relationship took a turn, Katsuki was still very focused on Deku to the point of being obsessive. Always watching him, always comparing himself to him. Even when they went to UA, it was still the same and he was still obsessed over him, still watched him and was also protective of him (The slime monster when he told him he shouldn't have helped him, which some would say is argueabley not protective) and when he saved Deku from Kurogiri.
Then DvK2 happened and it got worse, because now there was guilt in place of his anger. Guilt for treating him so wrong for most of their life together. Deku was one of the reasons he decided to change, to be better, because he wanted to repair their relationship and deserve Deku.
The guilt still lingered, you can see in his dark eyes during the talk about Deku with All Might. But he was determined to fix things with Deku. He got more obsessed, more protective while trying not to change himself too much. He wants a future with Deku because he loves him (platonically) and they are meant to follow AM's legacy together.
Then there's the fight with Shigaraki and Katsuki was so scared, so panicked at seeing Deku ready to kill himself. Every moment, his eyes were stuck on that boy as he tried to come up with SOMETHING to help him, to save him, to protect him.. but then there's the attack, and Katsuki throws himself in Deku's way, ready to die for this boy that's so special to him.
Now he's awake, alive and Deku isnt waking up. He's SCREAMING to see him, he needs to see him, he's in pain because he needs to look at Deku for himself to see if he's okay. To see if he was able to save the one person who matters to him most.
But he's being taken away.. and I'm so scared he's going to be left alone in that room, with no one to reassure him or tell him how Deku is. All the time they're apart is going to kill Katsuki. We all know he's prone to panic attacks and waves of guilt and insecurities. I don't want him to deal with this alone and that scares me.
I think that Shouto might end up with Bakugo while he waits to see Deku. Or at least I'm hoping. I don't think Hori would leave him alone, even though that is a fear of mine. I definitely think we're going to get a talk between him and Shouto, since Shou was the only other one to really see everything that happened and he understands. 🥺

Shady Deku AU:
This au is dedicated to a friend, who doesn’t understand villain deku, and my sister, who does.
Created with @mosaicofdreamsanddragons
Arc 1
It starts with Deku’s Father cutting him and his mother off in late middle school.
No explination, just no more money. In the middle of a global resession.
Inko is scrambling to find a job, but the only ones she can find don’t pay well at all.
Deku also tries looking around, any odd job he can do, but its hard when he’s got school.
Ends up taking a job at an ice rink, he doesn’t know how to skate, but hey, its money.
Then one day, he sees a girl near yhe back door as he’s closing up. She slips in, and Deku, panicking that she’s a burglar, follows.
Below the rink Deku finds a fight ring, full of quirk on quirk battles and a screaming audience. And in the ring, he sees the girl, fighting for her life against another opponent.
The man next to Deku says to his friend that its an easy match, but Deku mutters to himself about how the girl’s quirk could actually be super effective, cue long ramble.
The man asks who Deku thinks he is, and the friend says he’s actually an employee from the front, turns out to be Deku’s boss, and the manager. The manager tells Deku he’s got a talent, and he could make money here, or he could go out the back in a bodybag, its his choice.
Deku, being ingrained in hero society, points out that what he’s doing is illegal. But the manager says its not really, since its private property, and although their is a bylaw that prevents quirked people from using their quirk dangerously in that private property, it doesn’t hold if the owner is quirkless, which the owner is.
Deku thinks this kind of logic is stupid, but he knows if he told a hero, they’d tell him off for wasting their time. Agrees, but only so he can find more proof.
The fight ends with the girl defeated, and Deke reluctantly agreeing.
Deku’s new job involves analyzing fights for announcing and betting. But he’s not allowed to use his info to coach any of the fighters, and if one analysis is used, its for the stronges players and the manager takes the credit
One day he wanders into the lockers, to find the girl he followed, who introduces herself as Ochako and apologizes for accidentally leading him here.
Deku says its ok, and asks her why she came, to which she explains about how her parents company went under in the recession and she had to drop out of school. The worst part was they were going to send her to UA, but that’s a pipe dream now. Deku can relate, and offers to help her realize her potential in the fight rings, so as to earn more money
She’s really happy, but warns him they’ll have to be careful. Because the owner is dying, and needs a quirkless heir. The manager is gunning for that position, and intends to use this tournament to prove it to him.
Deku thinks this is great, because if they can prove a better team, they can take over, and finally free themselves from the threat of leaving in a bodybag
And so the partnership begins, with Ochako and Deku working together, and figuring out the ins and outs of partnership
All while dodging the manager
Arc2
Deku at one point early on, briefly gets blackmailed into helping another fighter who caught on, a young man called Dabi who’s got a rage in him Deku can’t comprehend. Deku helps him win his match, to which the man promptly gives all the prize money to his sister’s secret bank account. (Because yes Fuyumi has another account, she’s not stupid)
Deku and Ochako decide naively that maybe he’s not so bad, just like a really grumpy lion, but then some enemy fighters and thugs start to go missing.
The whole place is in an uproar, its really bad for buisness when deaths start attracting cops and heroes, which is proven true when an undercover Eraserhead shows up.
Neither Deku nor Ochako know who it is, but they want it to stop because the manager starts using this to tighten the noose around them too.
Eraserhead gets close to them as a possible patron for Dabi. He also investgates why their are children fighting in the rink, and if it ties into this somehow.
He’s pretty sure its Dabi, but Deku and Ochako stay subbornly in denial until Dabi nearly kills someone who was hirassing Deku at work, and genuinely terrifies the both of them.
Eraserhead chases him down, but he escapes. Eraserhead returns to try and threaten the manager to release the kids, but the manager is able to produce to legal contacts that bind them and their is nothing Eraserhead do. Frustrated but not about to give up, Eraserhead warns them that if they harbor a criminal like Dabi their place wil be shut down, and goes back to investigate possible ways to free the kids.
Meanwhile Deku and Ochako, knowing nothing of Eraserheads plan, decide to be more careful of who they trust from now on.
Arc3
Eventually they hit a snag where they can’t improve Ochako without support equipment, which they obviously can’t get their hands on.
Deku takes a frustrated walk in the park and meets a boy in a wheelchair chair named Iida. Iida explains how he used to be a UA student, until Stain took his legs.
Deku thinks its a great idea to bring him on board, since some of his old tech would really help them out, but Ochako is against it.
But manager followed Deku, and offered Iida a chance to train in his “facility”
Desperate for a chance to be useful again, Iida agrees, not realizing until its to late what this place really is.
Deku finds him, and although Iida is originally angry, feeling betrayed, Ochako and Deku are eventually able to make him realize they didn’t betray him and are in just as deep trouble as he is. Deku offers him a chance to be a hero again, by saving Ochako and Deku from the manager, and he accepts, becoming a part of the team.
Arc 4
The yakuza attempt to recruit, and Deku, Ochako, and Iida must avoid them
May end up rescuing Eri by mistake, until Eraserhead saves her properly
Arc5
The tournament ends with Ochako and Iida tag teaming to victory. The owner, who came for the last fight, is so impressed with their ability to succeed despite their disadvantages he names them heirs, to the fury of manager
Unfortunately thry can’t just leave, as the owner is still alive, and watching them. They’re gonna have to run it until he dies
Which doesn’t seem like that much longer, but still
Ochako, Deku, and Iida struggle to run the rink
Iida is on management, and is surprisingly good at it, comes to their rescue
Deku runs the fights and analyzes, while Ochako is their star fighter, but also helps on match up and security
With the league of villains on the rise, any info on them is crucial Eraserhead sends Shinso and Todoroki on an undercover mission to find out what Deku and Ochako knew
Eraserhead is very upset that Iida, his former student, is apparently going here too now
Todoroki has to go in disguise as a fire user, (since without Deku he didn’t use his firehalf in the sports festival) but seems more quirkless because he struggles to use his father’s flames
Deku and Ochako, who remember another dangerous fire user, attempt to reach out and help him avoid the mistakes of their old friend.
Meanwhile Shinsou meets Iida, and strikes up a friendship, wondering what could drive a hero in training to turn to a life of self-distruction.
iida shows management that comes in his job, and how he’s trying to use his place to help those like him who don’t know enough, and how he hopes when the owner finally dies that they can go properly legit.
Also at one point Kaminari drags Bakugo and co to the rink to try out the underground fighting. Everyone has to avoid them and chaos ensues
Ends one of two ways
Either Eraserhead finally succeeds in saving them (from the manager who returns to take his revenge) and gets them to go back with him to UA to train as underground heroes
Or Deku, Ochako, and Iida stay with the rink and turn it into a legit practicing place where young people can come and experiement with their quirks, incorporate martial arts, and have a place to vent frustrations in a safe way. They even rent to UA students for training
Or both
